Daily Feeds Recaps

Day 70 - Monday - September 23, 2024

Last night Makensy spilled the entire anti-Leah campaign to Angela, including saying Leah only used her veto on Angela for a jury vote and "she didn't give a fuck after that if you went home." (That isn't totally true: Leah campaigned on Angela's behalf a number of times since then, including to Makensy, but this is where we're at now.) Angela said she felt sick to her stomach as Makensy retold the Leah Chronicles to her, as they'd been told to her by Chelsie, plus Cam and Rubina. This morning Leah and Angela prepped for the veto meeting where both will be blindsided, at least to some degree, Angela said she couldn't sleep last night, and Leah picked out peeling bits of her sunburned-now-peeling scalp.

Makensy used her veto on Kimo and put up Leah in his place, as exhaustively planned. Feeds came back to Angela telling Kimo he didn't do anything to feel bad about and to be happy he's safe. Angela then joined Leah who cry-ranted that it's all bullshit and lies, she's had Makensy's back since Day 1 and never lied to her, she wasn't given any heads-up whatsoever, and "it's obvious they don't want me here." Angela said she felt sick and thought she might vomit. Makensy cried in HOH to Cam, Chelsie, Kimo, Rubina who all comforted her and said it had to be done and now it was. Makensy cringed when she saw Angela heading up the stairs on the spyscreen, and she asked everyone to leave so they could talk. Makensy retold the Leah Chronicles some more, with nearly every sentence including Chelsie said, Chelsie told her, she heard from Chelsie. Angela may have picked up on that but Makensy remained blissfully unaware she'd been puppeted. Angela said "come voting night I can't say her name, I'm sorry" and Makensy reminded her she's still on the block and one of the reasons for that was so she wouldn't have to vote. That gave them both a little chuckle to break up the tragedy. Makensy spent over a full hour justifying her move to her cohorts who orchestrated it. Leah went to Diary for a long time, and then took to her bed.

Makensy made chocolate chip cookies and brought some in to Leah, placing them next to her pillow, then she kind of half-hugged and half-laid on Leah and said she loves her. Leah did not hug back. Leah told Angela about overhearing Chelsie, Kimo, Rubina yesterday, and their shushing when they saw her, and said she regrets trusting Chelsie last week as well as going after "the wrong trio." Angela talked at Chelsie for awhile, telling her she felt bad for Leah and that they shared middle names (RIP the Lorraines), and she talked at length about various homes she's lived in and the work they did on them. The others sang their song for awhile, and played word games for awhile, and Angela crashed their gatherings to sit in with them a few times.

They got a message from AI Julie that said "everybody's in danger" and that she'd be back soon. Makensy said "Julie being gone was intentional, it's not she was sick or took PTO" and they further complicated that by saying they didn't actually see Julie last week. Chelsie suggested maybe it was a double eviction hint. They got another message with AI Julie saying the government has been tracking Ainsley's thought patterns and found out she got great pleasure in terminating Jankie, she had F-U-N doing it. That was followed by another saying Ainsley seemed silly and harmless, "she's blue and bald, and her voice glitches and drones on, but I talked to the president and she's a danger to all of humanity, so stay safe." Angela suggested BB was just trying to lighten the mood since "there's a heaviness in the house" today (bless her heart), and a few of them went down the Paloma path to wonder if Julie's been AI the whole season, or if the season itself was AI. There were also mentions of Jerry McConnell, Michigan, and the stock market. Angela and Leah were in nominee chairs when they came back from each message, implying they'd be used on Thursday's show before the first eviction (unless they run the veto meeting sometime before the end of Wednesday's 90-minute show, which would be highly unusual).

Leah, Makensy, Rubina donned their tinfoil hats. Further messages said Julie wants to lead the charge for the resistance to find jurors that went missing when Ainsley kidnapped them, and they found a lock of Quinn's hair, and "the fate of Big Brother rests in your hands." Something was also said about they can only save one [juror], but I don't know if that was part of a message or part of their speculation, which ran rampant. They wondered if it meant a battle-back, or that Julie's permanently replaced by Jerry O'Connell, and so on. Feedsters also decided a battle-back or reset was imminent, though I can't see that happening with the schedule as it is. It would require either another double or a triple when there's only two eviction shows after this week's double. Not to mention I don't think they'd open that door so soon after an evictee won last year, but we'll see how it unfolds. Angela made spaghetti for dinner, and Leah did her nails and rebounded a bit, telling Angela she'd be upset if she'd known she was going up but being assured by Makensy she was safe and then being blindsided was a lot. (As it was for T'kor last week.)

Everyone enjoyed Angela's dinner. Several thanked her including Chelsie, who said "spaghetti's my favorite." Angela responded "is it? Okay, I can do this again next week!" with Leah right there. Ouch. Makensy and Leah then sat down in HOH for a mega marathon hash-it-out, which started with Makensy saying "give me a hug" and Leah responding "I can't do it yet." They got right to it, with Leah saying she was sad and disappointed but not mad, and they rehashed back to alleged comments about Makensy and Matt, and Tucker, and everything in between. Eventually they got around to Chelsie, with Leah saying she talks and acts differently when they talk privately than in a group, and Makensy continuously saying Chelsie does want to work with Leah, but thinks Leah would put her up. As they got down to more specifics, Makensy deflected a lot of Chelsie blame onto Kimo and Rubina, and Leah said Makensy was "believing the peanut gallery when they were never there for us." She said she's had Makensy's back since before she "started fucking beasting it out" and after. Finally they seemed to realize Chelsie was behind today's Leah renom, and last week's T'kor renom in Jankie World, and Joseph's renom by Quinn after Leah took down Angela. And they fetched Chelsie.

It should be noted Angela campaigned to Kimo with Rubina nearby, and chatted about life with Cam during all that. Makensy opened the new meeting formally like a moderator, then busied herself with folding her laundry as Leah and Chelsie got started. Leah went through a lengthy series of preliminaries again, and veered off track a number of times, and said she backed off early jokes once she realized Cam's in love with Chelsie(!), and somehow Kimo and Rubina ended up being painted as the villains behind everything. Yep, the same Kimo and Rubina who barely campaign for themselves and spend the majority of their time practicing the Summer song and dancing. Downstairs there was speculation about what was going on in HOH, especially since Cam had dropped off Makensy's laundry early in the Leah/Makensy portion, getting out of there as fast as he could. He told Angela, Kimo, Rubina that the room had a serious vibe. Chelsie countered everything Leah said well, like she does, but the direct accusations about her backstabby manipulation moves didn't come up. Instead, Leah ended up repeatedly apologizing for not having the convos she was told she should have, and Chelsie said "I forgive you." Chelsie eventually said none of this meant they won't be friends after this, and Leah said that sounded like Chelsie didn't want to work with her in the game anymore.

Day 71 - Tuesday - September 24, 2024

My sense of self-preservation is improving slightly, so I skipped the retells of last night's filibusters, and didn't hear any this morning. Instead, newly-designated mastermind Kimo came up with a new guessing game and a new show idea with Cam, with various others participating until eventually everyone except Leah was playing the new game. Wild Robot came up at one point and they kind of shushed each other, making it seem like they aren't supposed to talk about it until Wednesday's episode airs. We already know what movie they saw so forbidding talk about it seems an odd kind of promotion if you ask me. Which they didn't. Angela described her favorite meal at her favorite restaurant in extreme detail that I'm sure had some of them drooling. She could do food reviews on her "Tikky-Tok" after this if she wants to drop the real estate thing.

Most settled in for early afternoon naps between meals. Co-newly-designated mastermind Rubina sent a message to Tucker saying she misses him, adding "omg I think I love him." Gametalk will likely pick up again at some point but it's safe to assume Leah will be going first on Thursday, possibly followed by Makensy? That's if Chelsie's pattern holds of getting rid of the HOH who did her bidding, before they figure out what happened and retaliate. But Makensy's done well in live comps so we'll see how that unfolds.

It was an excruciatingly slow afternoon until a snippet of commercial-sounding audio slipped out on feeds (and into my goof tally), and shortly afterwards Makensy called them all to the living room "for a special surprise." That turned out to be the second cross-promo of the week as they all watched the premiere episode of CBS's new show The Summit. And it was on feeds. I think that's a first? At least as far as I can recall anyway. They were into it, with major shockfaces all around during the opening teasers of outdoor hamsters maneuvering difficult New Zealand terrain, and most of them talked, laughed, clapped, and squealed through it. They compared cast members to those in their own season, highlighting the CBS reality casting formulas. But it was a nice diversion for them and for us, and I wonder if it'll lead to a questions comp about the episode, or maybe a super mini version physical comp, or possibly both.

They loved the show and talked about it for quite awhile afterwards but if anyone thought there'd be questions about it for a comp, they kept that to themselves. And they talked a bit about the AI Julie clues from yesterday. Leah went back to being goofy and laughing again, which was nice to see after her tragic day yesterday. Makensy and Chelsie met in HOH and Makensy said she's worried about what will happen Thursday. Chelsie said Kimo asked to talk to her later tonight, saying he doesn't know what's going on, and Chelsie said she'll try to get him to fess up. (The only thing Kimo has to fess up about is not coming up with a good third part harmony yet for the song.) Makensy went back to griping about Angela and maybe wanting her gone. Rubina joined, then Leah, and a full-out Angela bashing session happened. Meanwhile Cam and Kimo worked some more on show ideas, and Kimo did a few thunder burps. Eventually everyone was in HOH except for rotating Diary calls, and Makensy talked about her brother a lot, along with general topic group chats.

I'm dipping out early tonight unless something major happens. Tomorrow they will waffle, and maybe plan for the double they always suspect is coming, but this time they're right.

Day 72 - Wednesday - September 25, 2024

Catching up, last night Leah ran another marathon monologue to Chelsie, boosting her up and acknowledging Chelsie's been running things. Chelsie went along with it all, then slipped up by saying next week she'll put up Kimo and Angela. Oops. Cam hung out with Makensy and Rubina, with Makensy wavering back to wanting to boot Angela. Cam questioned why waffling was still happening, when he thought the decision to boot Leah was a done deal. That convo shifted into a lengthy sexual one, using code words including foods, rollercoasters, and basketball euphemisms. This morning Makensy had a lengthy rehash of ancient days, including saying Joseph started the Collective to protect himself from her. Comments like that go a long way in explaining how she's been so easily led into believing Kimo and Rubina are masterminding everything now. She and Chelsie met to rehash the rehashes, still talking as if Leah's going, but then Chelsie leaned slightly back into maybe booting Angela. (I can see Chelsie orchestrating a tie vote tomorrow, forcing Makensy to break it face-to-face. I'd like to see it anyway.)

Leah then campaigned to Makensy, volunteering to go up as a pawn/shield in future. She mentioned that Chelsie slipped twice in their convo last night about Angela still being here next week. Kimo and Rubina continued singing periodically and regularly, and Kimo continued masterminding his and Cam's proposed new show format. Chelsie retold a group convo that rated everyone's flirtatiousness. I don't think she heard much about last night's steamy euphemisms chat and Cam's starring role in that. File that under more things I'd like to see. Rubina did a little dance with Makensy and Cam, the same little dance she did with Brooklyn before she left, and also with Brooklyn and Tucker. Maybe she is a mastermind. (I kid, she didn't want Tucker to go. Maybe it's more like a voodoo dance curse she isn't aware she's doing.)

Makensy soft-pitched keeping Leah to Cam, talking about how things had been "misconstruded" but Cam remained set on evicting Leah. And they did a few more repetitive rounds of that later. Chelsie started a Chelsie's Chisme session from under/behind the bathroom towels, before stepping out and grabbing a Febreze mic to say she'd had "a heavy hand in convincing Makensy to put up Leah." She said she expects Leah to go, she'd like to win the next HOH, but she thought Cam might also win it, and Angela would be the second victim of the double eviction. She also seemed to believe what she'd heard about Kimo planting seeds against her. Meanwhile Kimo was coming up with a new song. Leah pitched to Rubina, who'd already promised her vote to Angela, so she didn't give Leah much in return. Chelsie talked about church and Bible to Angela. Marathon, inconclusive talks happened between Angela/Makensy, Makensy/Kimo, and Leah/Cam, the latter boiling down to Cam scolding Leah for not talking to him sooner.

Cam told Chelsie that he thought Makensy is more of a threat going forward than Kimo, so that ball's started rolling, as we all knew it would, and later Chelsie suggested to Rubina they go for Makensy in the double. Leah spent a long time thoroughly cleaning the grotty shower. She did that at least once before, saying at that time she didn't mind doing it, especially if stressed. That other time I remember her doing it was the Tuesday in the week Lisa was targeted and failed to win veto - recall they were close. A series of quick meetings took place with more pitches from both Angela and Leah to various others, plus followup check-ins about those meetings of course. Barring any last-minute shenanigans overnight or tomorrow (unlikely, but could happen), Leah's pretty much a goner and the pitches don't really have any effect at this point, but props to both nominees for fighting to stay. Kimo goofed off with Leah for awhile, in his unofficial role as hospice cat/sendoff buddy, and Angela and Leah had an intense pillow fight before collapsing in hugs and tears, and I love yous, and coulda-woulda-shouldas. And blaming/crediting Rubina for their situation. Cam hung out with Kimo and Rubina again, and were later joined by Angela.

Ratings - Toxic Traits edition

Ratings are based on the old saying 'familiarity breeds contempt' - nothing proves that more than Big Brother, both for us out here, where every word or action on feeds inspires cheers and jeers, and elaborately pointless think pieces, but even more so for those stuck together in there, in close quarters with no escape from each other.

Check out the bonus special edition ratings I did for @realityblurred

Noms count: original/renom/twist

Where to begin? Childish edits, lame zings, meatless Diaries with boring comp retells, there are a slew of problems as we all know. But their main toxic trait is disrespect for us, their core audience, the feedsters. That's not new but there's still no reason for it, and it's getting worse. We used to come back from ceremonies when they were still in place and hugging, and we used to come back from comps as they walked in the door. BB Canada always treated feedsters way worse than BB USA, until they cut out feeds altogether, and look how that turned out.

PS Why did Ainsley choose violence? Jankie's murder was brutal and needlessly malicious. He was just a sweet little guy who wanted everyone to have fun.

Won: 1000 orb pickup & decontamination

HOH 2 - Veto 1 - Noms 5/1/0 - HN 1

Angela Murray - 50 51
Twitter - Instagram
Married with kids & grandkids - fan applicant
Real estate agent
Syracuse, UT (orig Long Beach, CA)

Her toxic trait is paranoia coupled with a sense of entitlement. Gamewise, the paranoia and resulting guilt trips are problematic for her roomies, but somehow it's kept her alive. Until now anyway: her time may be up now that Makensy won the veto. Angela's 'I really want to be here, this is my dream' shtick is a very bad angle for her to keep harping on, since it applies to each and every one of them. On the plus side, being safe during Jankie week kept her from spiraling in that nuthouse.

Won: Movie guest

HOH 0 - Veto 1 - Noms 2/0/0 - HN 1

Cam Sullivan-Brown - 25
Twitter - Instagram
Single - recruit
Physical therapist
Bowie, MD

His toxic trait is a lack of awareness about his positioning between Chelsie and the other women he's flirted with. She's tried to explain the situation to him but she hasn't been honest about her ongoing crush on him which complicated everything, so maybe he's just being an ignorant dope by not seeing it. If he's consciously ignoring that part of it, that's on him. Sure, he doesn't owe her anything on that score whatsoever, but it would behoove him to keep her happy if he wants her to take him to the end. His track record indicates he's not likely to be the one doing the taking.

Won: Week 1 mascot/can't compete or vote; Week 5 AI Arena

HOH 2 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/1/0 - HN 0

Chelsie Baham - 27
Instagram
Single - fan applicant
Nonprofit director
Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Her toxic trait is jealousy. Her situation with Cam is complicated by the close proximity they can't escape, and also maybe because according to her, she's only been in one relationship so may not have the tools or experience to be fully honest with him within the context of the game they're playing, so she sticks to the game angle when she hashes things out with him. Gamewise she continues to sway and influence others by planting seeds against this one and that one, and those seeds take root and thrive as she steps back to watch the results and, importantly, she makes a point to stay in good standing with her targets. That's very good BB, but it's hard to explain at the end in order to win over jurors. A lot of people don't like to acknowledge they've been duped into doing someone else's dirty work for them.

Won: Week 1 AI Arena; Movie guest

HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 5/0/0 - HN 3

Kimo Apaka - 35 36
Instagram - Instagram 2
Single - fan applicant/occasional feedster
Mattress sales rep
Hilo, HI

His toxic trait is being relaxed and carefree. That's not toxic in life obviously, but gamewise he's not done his share other than to be everyone's pawn. He doesn't even give any arguments against it, let alone put up a fight. That's convenient for whoever the reigning HOH is, but it's hardly game-winning strategy. He's got a very nice singing voice and a great sense of melody and harmony, but this isn't a singing competition.

Won: *Week 9 janky veto

HOH 1 - Veto 1+1* - Noms 0/1/0 - HN 1

Leah Peters - 26
Twitter - Instagram
Single - recruit
VIP cocktail server
Miami, FL (orig Pittsburgh, PA)

Her toxic trait is making herself the center of attention. It's begun wearing on others enough that they've been talking about her taking over conversations and turning topics around to herself. I am aware she's said she's aware she does that, and has struggled with it due to ADHD, but that doesn't stop them from being annoyed about it. To be fair, Jankie World might have been a lot more miserable for them (and us) if she hadn't had HOH safety, as she was able to stay upbeat for most of the week.

Won: Hawaii trip; America's Veto/used Week 3; Weeks 4 & 6 AI Arena; Movie screening

HOH 1 - Veto 2 - Noms 1/1/1 - HN 2

Makensy Manbeck - 22
Twitter - Instagram
Single - recruit
Construction project manager
Houston, TX

Her toxic trait is gliding through the first half of the game in pure ignorance to what was going on, and now thinking she's a mastermind. I don't know if her secret plan to boot Angela will stay secret, since everyone knows about it except Angela and Leah, and this cast is definitely not known for keeping secrets. Adding an HOH and another veto to her resumé this week has painted a bigger target on her, and could add to arguments for her to win at the end. Jurors may have to dive deeper into hypocrisy if they reward Makensy's comp wins, since they all discount Angela's.

Won: Week 7 AI Arena; Movie guest

HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 2/0/1 - HN 1

Rubina Bernabe - 35
Instagram
Single - recruit
Event bartender
Los Angeles, CA

Like Kimo, her toxic trait is being relaxed and carefree. Gamewise it's every bit as useless for her as it is for him, but she balances it better by continually making rounds with everyone and checking up on them, particularly when they're in jeopardy, plus she participates in more gametalking than him and is more aware of what's going on. She also doesn't take things too seriously or personally, which Kimo sometimes does. Even when she was on the block against first Kimo and then T'kor, she seemed more concerned about their fates and feelings than her own.

Won: $5,000

HOH 1 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/1/0 - HN 0

T'kor Clottey - 23
Instagram - Instagram 2
Has a boyfriend - Survivor applicant?
Crochet business owner
Atlanta, GA (orig Chicago, IL/London, UK)

2nd juror - 9th evicted - Day 66

She bonded with Kimo and Rubina early on, and the trio quickly became inseparable. That's heartwarming to see but a voting block of three is a big threat in this game. She was seen as their leader but she was beloved by everyone so it took awhile for her to hit the block. When she finally did, she didn't take it well and withdrew back into her self-described shell, and didn't fight hard enough to stay. She got Tucker out on her HOH, but he would have been a useful ally for her if he'd stayed. She and Kimo had excellent reads on the game and their fellow players throughout, but they didn't do much with those reads besides stealth-whisper to each other a lot. In Week 4 they orchestrated a vote flip but later denied doing so, even to each other. She's accomplished a lot in life at a young age and I have no doubt she'll continue to do so, and I wish her well.

Won: Deep Fake HOH/used Week 4; Viewers' nominee Week 3

HOH 1 - Veto 0 - Noms 1/1/1 - HN 1

Quinn Martin - 25
Twitter - Instagram
Single - fan applicant/RHAP listener
Nurse recruiter
Omaha, NE (orig Lawton, OK)

1st juror - 8th evicted - Day 59

He was a different kind of superfan, having seen episodes and RHAP podcasts, but no feeds. He got the best power this show's ever handed out on Day 2, but blabbed it to two people, so by the time he used it everyone knew and the fun was spoiled. That week he put his ally Cedric on the block and he went home, and later he put his ally Joseph on the block, and he went home. But he was allied with nearly everyone at some point, with F2s all over town, and he blew up alliances like it was a hobby. He continually thought he had everyone in his pocket, unaware his pocket had a huge gaping hole and couldn't hold anything. He shouted in Diary but was light and fun much of the time, even when his game was tanking, so props for that. He fell hard for Leah and made 'googleah' eyes at her, and his 'sick nasty' speech to her was instant inspiration for a million memes.

Won: 24 hours solitary

HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/1/0 - HN 1

Joseph Rodriguez - 30 31
Instagram
Single - fan applicant/feedster
Video store clerk
Tampa, FL

7th evicted - Day 52

He brought a lot of unintentional comedy as he deluded himself about his power and influence, and he proclaimed himself 'star of the show' in one solo talk to himself/us. To his credit, his intentional comedy was every bit as good, although his dry sense of humor wasn't appreciated by some. He had a BB birthday that helped him settle in better socially, and he became the eighth hamster to get 24 hours in solitary. Three of those won their seasons but not this time. Joseph had extra chatty, holographic mini-Matt for company, and he said later he used his toilet tent for extracurricular purposes. He apologized to Angela after being brutally honest about her game, and he acknowledged he had some self-work to do about his 'mean streak.' I'll miss him, and wish him nothing but the best. Props to his siblings and friends for running the best hamster-adjacent socials we've ever seen.

Won: $20,000; Weeks 2 & 3 AI Arena; 1 week AI Assist; Week 6 AI Instigator

HOH 1 - Veto 3 - Noms 2/0/2 - HN 1

Tucker Des Lauriers - 30
Twitter - Instagram
Single - recruit
Marketing and sales exec
Brooklyn, NY (orig Boston, MA)

6th evicted - Day 45

He demolished two AI Arenas and was the first pre-juror to win three vetos in a row(!), along with an HOH. All that plus his boasting made him most everyone's target but he seemed to relish that spot (along with puzzles and biscuits). He was a welcome change from the usual 'comp beast' type, often showing compassion and empathy, and shedding tears over missing his min pin Ziggi. He fell in love with Rubina, and was often loud, sometimes obnoxious, frequently funny, and he usually owned whatever room he was in, including Diary. His gameplay was reckless and unpredictable, nearly always leaving chaos in his wake. He was that extremely rare breed of hamster: a hard gamer, often a good one (sometimes horrible), while being entertaining. He will be missed.

5th evicted - Day 38

She brought us a number of classic shockfaces for various blindsides, and she said 'this doesn't quite feel like Big Brother' when she was on the block and on her way out. I beg to differ. She confessed her sports dancer secret to Quinn (who told several), her Mrs America secret to Chelsie (who didn't), but I don't think she told anyone she's friends with Aaryn. Thanks to Cam, she provided a fun Michael Jackson side game out here for her last couple weeks. She never tired of saying she wanted a married mother to win this season, so I guess we can assume she'll be rooting from home for Angela.

Won: Week 1 mascot/can't compete or vote

HOH 1 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/0/1 - HN 0

Cedric Hodges - 21
Twitter - Instagram
Single - recruit
Former Marine
Boise, ID (orig Running Springs, CA)

4th evicted - Day 31

He prepped by watching analysis clips and didn't see any full seasons so he had an unusual balance of BB lore and knowledge. He was a good sport about being sidelined Week 1 and he used that time well, becoming well-liked by all of them. 'Young Cedric' was an ongoing, evolving skit and his own elaborate life stories usually had them and us in stitches. Between expecting volunteers for the block and painting himself into a no-win corner between his various alliances, his HOH was a disaster. Then he volunteered to be a pawn the following week and learned the meaning of 'pawns go home.' He was funny, genuine, wise and mature beyond his years, and he'll be missed.

Kenney Kelley - 52

Married with kids - fan applicant
Former undercover cop

3rd evicted - Day 24

He adopted Matt and lost him fast, then he won a veto, and the rest of the time he said he wanted to quit. He rallied a bit at the end when he teamed up with Cedric and Tucker, adding Cam when he walked in on them, but that got blown up immediately. He mostly sat by himself and shouted out his family, or he complained to others about missing them, so they sent him back to them.

Lisa Weintraub - 33

2nd evicted - Day 17

She's a legit chef/caterer and ran that into the ground, along with sprinkling edible glitter on everyone's food whether they wanted it or not. Tucker's rants about her were an early highlight, and she crumbled after Angela mocked her walk and called her a twit. Props for winning the first veto (rare for a woman), but she wasn't cut out for this setting. Most of that was simply being a bad roommate: she made (and wasted) food they didn't want, dabbed non-consensual essential oil on her roomies' pillows, propped filthy feet on food surfaces, and she never tired of telling everyone what a special and unique person she was.

HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/0/1 - HN 0

Matt Hardeman - 25
Single - recruit?

Tech sales rep
Roswell, GA (orig Loganvilla, GA)

1st evicted - Day 10

He filled the pretty boy/brojock casting slot perfectly but didn't like Angela pointing that out openly and immediately. He was adamant about not being 'that guy' and to his credit, he did talk a lot against toxic masculinity. He cried after Angela yelled at him, but went out in high spirits with ginormous smiles for Julie.

Won: Control of the game

HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/0/0 - HN 0

Ainsley/AInsley - 24
Surf shop worker
San Diego, CA

She lost two votes to join as #17 so reverted to her robotic persona aka Artificial Intelligence Network Self-Learning Entity, and became a comp host.

GAME TWISTS

-First and second move-in groups of eight voted against letting Ainsley join as 17th player, and each group played comps based on their votes.

-Losers Cedric, Chelsie were Week 1 mascots: couldn't compete for HOH or veto, couldn't vote, could be nominated.

-Makensy won America's Veto: once in first four weeks, she can remove someone from the block and viewers will instant-vote the replacement. She used it Week 3 after she went up as veto renom.

-Quinn won Deep Fake HOH: once in first four weeks, the HOH's AI avatar will announce noms Quinn secretly picked, and he can spread misinfo and rumors via that fake avatar. He used it Week 4 to take over Angela's 2nd HOH (everyone knew about it).

-Weeks 1 thru 7: HOH picked three nominees, and veto renom if applicable. The three competed live in AI Arena before the vote, and the winner came off the block.

-Week 6: Viewer vote to pick someone for AI Instigator (Tucker), who could spread rumors via others' AI avatars. A second vote determined how much cash he won ($20k).

-Week 9: Jankie World: everyone lived outside in a carnival setting, with carnival food and periodic signals to sing and dance.
