The tuxedo got the toy mouse power again, leaving the pale Siamese-esque in need of a veto. When hamsters returned, primping was underway. Leah cleaned the shower yesterday and Chelsie cleaned the rest of the bathroom at some point, so primp stations were nicer to get prepped in than some weeks. Leah gave Kimo's hair a touchup and showed Makensy where she'd stored her excess comp clothes and the last of the moon water. Makensy invited Cam to participate in her (now usual) Thursday inspirational messages to us. He did, saying "quit! give up! don't do it!" I can relate. Most of them were apprehensive, uncertain about tonight being a double eviction, but knowing it's due.The announcer did a high-speed recap, citing time constraints with the busy episode ahead. Then they magically condensed the Leah/Makensy plus Chelsie addition convo from the other night into a few seconds when it actually ran for 17 hours (it felt that long anyway). Red Ainsley appeared to tell them the price to pay for betraying her is a double eviction and they got right to business. Angela gave another of her patented love-you-all-I-want-to-stay speeches and Leah gave her first block speech, wishing sister Danni a happy birthday (next week). She got a bit choked up and flustered but she finished it up, and then she was voted out by Kimo, Chelsie, Cam, Rubina in the first unanimous vote of the season. The last survivor of the second move-in group, she went out with a huge hug for Angela, and hugs and tears for the others. She was in good spirits for her sit-down with Julie, and said she was looking forward to reuniting with Quinn at the jury house. The HOH comp was introduced by Ainsley and titled Warning Messages. She said it would be seven true/false questions about the messages she delivered via Deepfake Chenbot, and she turned it over to Julie to ask the questions. Chelsie was on a roll, getting the first five correct as everyone else missed at least one. But then Chelsie missed the sixth and seventh which Angela got right, landing the two of them in a tie. The tiebreaker question was how many minutes was Jankie alive, with the usual closest without going over disclaimer. Angela wrote 15,500 on her chalkboard and Chelsie wrote 1,080. The answer was 10,102 so Chelsie won her third HOH, since Angela went over. Figure 60 minutes times 24 hours is 1,440 minutes per day (which they've actually cited in the house several times), times 7 days would be 10,080. Chelsie may have dropped a zero accidentally or intentionally but either way, she won because Angela's total came out to more than 10 days. ; Chelsie had a couple rushed meetings and nominated Angela and Kimo, because who else? They're the designated pawn star pair for a long time now. Julie landed herself on the goof tally again for asking us if the veto will be used for the 11th straight time this season? Potentially the 11th straight week ma'am, but there were two other vetos along the way, one used and one not. The veto comp was Eye in the Sky with an elaborate Ainsley storyline about lasers and destroying satellites, but for our purposes it was a rollyball comp. They had to maneuver five balls, one at a time, down a wavy track and land them in a chute at the end. I think they had a four minute time limit(?) and if nobody had won by then, the winner would be whoever had the most balls in their chutes. But the time limit wasn't needed as Kimo finished quickly, for his first win since way back on Day 10 when he saved himself by winning the first AI Arena. ; Kimo used his veto on himself, and Chelsie put up Rubina in his place. Angela gave another version of her usual speech, including thanking them for having kept her unanimously earlier, and Rubina gave her usual speech about wanting to stay, represent, and maybe win something. Then came the second unanimous vote of the night and the season as Angela went out 3-0. She went out in extremely good spirits, with hugs all around, and she hung back at the door to do some cheerleading. She remained in good spirits for her QA with Julie, with intermittent choking-up moments of course, and she corrected Julie when she said she'd survived the block five times - nope, she'd just survived a sixth time a few minutes earlier. Goof tally again. Julie gave us the wacky air times for Sunday's show (see Upcoming Events below), and she told us next week's veto would be BB Comics but it would be incorporated into Thursday's two-hour block rather than airing on Wednesday (but you knew that already). And she did a short sponcon segment promoting The Summit before telling us to love one another. ; Feeds came back just before 9pm and Makensy had won the HOH, again. It was the tiny veto comp, but she got a tiny HOH key instead. The final five sat around congratulating themselves for surviving the double and making it this far. (They didn't say it out loud but they were also congratulating themselves on making it to the bonus pay stage.) Chelsie told us she got rattled by Auntie Julie hustling them for an answer and she did indeed drop a zero from her tiebreaker answer. Fortunately for her, Angela still went over so it didn't matter. She also told us she hopes we're happy with this final five, and won't be bored by them for the last two weeks, and later she told us she sent Angela out so she wouldn't end up sitting next to her and be sent home. Rubina tried on some of Makensy's stunt hair, which was a hit, as did Kimo, which wasn't. Chelsie's goodies from the quickie HOH were delivered, and she seemed to get about as much as a regular HOH. She read her third letter from home, this one from her own "big brother" Jaylen. That led to a fridge cleanout as they went to put everything away. Chelsie and Makensy finally celebrated with a "pantry dance" in a bedroom, and Makensy said she wants Kimo gone. She said she'll probably put him up with Rubina, then use Cam or Chelsie as renom if needed. Makensy got her second room around 12.15am, with another huge assortment of stuff, a letter from her brother, music by George Strait, and wine. Day 74 - Friday - September 27, 2024Meetings started immediately after wakeup. Chelsie gave Rubina her script for Makensy, which she repeated when they met. But Rubina added that Chelsie had talked about putting Makensy up and out in the double if they had the chance, because of her comp abilities, but Chelsie didn't want to be the one to do it. Makensy said she wants Kimo gone and Rubina would probably go up with him. Rubina went along with that, saying her alternate name for Kimo is Schemo, and she also pointed out Cam and Chelsie are a tight duo. Kimo's meeting was the same as usual, saying all he had to offer was "being a pawn" as he's done before. No pitch or fight whatsoever was offered from the alleged mastermind. Makensy immediately told Chelsie what Rubina said about her wanting Makensy targeted, and Chelsie said no, that she'd asked Rubina who she'd target if she won, and she said Makensy. Makensy asked "do we get her out and keep Kimo?" and Chelsie said "no."Cam and Chelsie agreed their preferred extra body at final three was Rubina. Kimo told Cam not many of them got to experience AI Arena, especially because there were so many repeat nominees, but Cam pointed out everyone experienced it except Leah and T'kor. Cam told Makensy he'd make her and Chelsie do rock-paper-scissors to determine who'd go up against Rubina if he wins the next HOH. The two of them studied days events, followed by Cam studying on his own/aloud. Feeds were down from approx 1.30 to 4pm and the only thing that was mentioned for that lengthy downtime was nominations. Makensy put up Kimo and Rubina as planned. Feeds came back to Kimo alone and silent in his bed, as the other four small-talked and snacked in the kitchen. Rubina eventually joined Kimo who wasn't taking his seventh nom well, saying that the feeling of being expendable was weighing on him. Rubina seemed fine with her fifth nom, and she chatted him out of his gloom a bit, including discussing Tucker and what they both liked about him, and then both laughed as they realized they are the Cirie and Felicia of this season, and Chelsie was the Bowie Jane. (It turned out they were talking about ages, whew.) I don't know what Cam and Makensy were doing in this pic, other than they were talking about their heights. She said she's six feet tall (things we've heard a lot) but then admitted she's actually 5'11". Cam and Chelsie continued studying, and were eventually rejoined by Makensy. Our final five are much like last year's, in that they herd as a distinct trio and duo, but they aren't toxic about each other like last year. Leah trimmed Kimo's hair yesterday but he wanted more taken off so Rubina did that, and they whispered about Chelsie not putting up Makensy last night. And they talked about approaching Makensy about Cam and Chelsie being a duo who'd cut her before each other (accurate). They mentioned having that talk tonight but we know those kinds of plans often flop and never happen. Rubina said she doesn't think she has a shot at winning the season, and Kimo said he thinks she could beat Cam. Chelsie and Makensy discussed their ideal weddings, then Cam and Chelsie had a very lengthy talk about relationships. They talked about their exes, and their hopes and ideals for future relationships, and Cam talked about a girl he described as having a "90% platonic" relationship with currently, with a lot of references to "blurred lines." Makensy was present for that but didn't participate a lot, either listening to music or napping for most of it, or pretending not to listen.
