Makensy told Cam and Chelsie she was glad of that because Rubina would take Kimo down and she wants noms to stay the same, but she also said she'd be okay if Kimo saves himself. She said if either nominee comes down, she'd put up Rubina. Chelsie pushed for Leah to be the renom, and when Cam left she griped that he needed to pull his weight and win some comps for them. Chelsie pushed some more for Leah and asked Makensy why she wouldn't consider her. Makensy said "my morals, my ethical code, I don't have the heart," adding she was trying to play an honest game and had reassured Leah she's safe this week. She'd told Angela the same thing, but she acknowledged that by saying "this is the first week I'm kinda lying." We are deep in the rationalized hypocrisy period of the game, along with the toxic. (Related: see my new ratings below.) Chelsie's revved up her tactic of planting little seed bombs to get people to dislike whoever she wants targeted, while cozying up to those people herself. It's good BB, but not always easy to watch. Cam and Rubina joked about the monotony in there, and the repetitive cycle of talks, meetings, and campaigns.Feeds were down just under seven hours for their veto comp. Makensy won, so Angela will likely be the first of two heading to jury on Thursday. It's beyond unlikely that Angela will be able to sway Makensy, but Chelsie or Leah might have a shot. We'll see. The comp was individual timed runs, having to find or match animals including fish, possums, lobsters in a forest setting, with an audio clues component. Makensy completed it in nine minutes, Angela and Kimo both timed out at 45 minutes, and several of them took 30-40 minutes. Cam was very disappointed in his performance, as was Kimo, but Kimo was chirpy and happy, so Angela's radar might have gone up if she noticed that. Chelsie and Leah, and Kimo and Rubina discussed needing to get Makensy gone before they get closer to the end since she's winning too often, but Kimo and Rubina agreed someone else should do it so they don't get dreaded bloody hands (please). The comp was a movie tie-in, apparently for Wild Robot, and Makensy said she'd take Cam, Kimo, Rubina as her guests to watch it since they haven't won HOH yet. They got a booze delivery: even a lengthy veto comp and a lengthy movie promo will need some filler for Wednesday's 90 minute show. Sunday services were announced for tomorrow, with a devotional segment co-led by Chelsie and Makensy, followed by a guided meditation with Cam, followed by song. That led to around 39 renditions of their summer song with everyone joining in. Angela seemed like she was having a good enough time but her inner thoughts were almost readable on her face. Dinner was finally ready and they all sat down to eat around 11.30pm, with everyone gushing about what a great meal it was (fried chicken, potatoes, broccoli). Gametalk was nowhere to be found, which Angela surely noticed. Chelsie told us to watch tomorrow's show to see results of the HOH comp they started on Thursday (we know!) plus Zingbot, and then she launched into a preaching session. Angela approached her to say she doesn't know what will happen this week but she wouldn't ask Makensy to veto her off the block, and she wanted to move forward with Chelsie. And she said she didn't feel well, and she went to bed crying. Kimo gave her a good night hug and said he understood, and Chelsie relayed to Makensy and Cam what she'd said. Day 69 - Sunday - September 22, 2024Last night Chelsie and Cam had another hash-it-out session but this one was more productive than usual. He said he wants others to think they aren't as close gamewise as they are, so even if they complain to people about each other, it's for the bigger purpose and she's still his number one in the game. I don't think this morning's planned Sunday services happened, possibly because they were all doing lengthy veto Diaries and possibly because it was a boozy idea that wasn't as big a priority the morning after as it was when they planned it. (I'm not complaining: I am very much for separation of church and BB.) Angela asked Leah if she thought Makensy and Chelsie want her gone. Leah said they hadn't told her that, but people have flipped on her before plus they know she's close with Angela. And they both said they've noticed Rubina gametalking and getting closer to various people than she was before. Angela said Chelsie has twisted her words about Leah, and Leah said she knew that. Angela said Chelsie has Cam's back more than she does Makensy's (so much for that Cam/Chelsie plan), and she said if Makensy holds one-on-ones she'll talk to her about the veto, despite having told Makensy last night she wouldn't ask for veto to be used on her. Leah said if it's a tie, Makensy would probably keep Angela. (Oop, Makensy has said several times she wants a tie so she can be the one to boot Angela.)Hold the presses! Chelsie and Cam went to work on Makensy again to renom Leah. That seemed like beating a dead horse but they presented a good pitch (good for Makensy's ears anyway), by saying Leah's never hit the block, and she wants Chelsie out (oop again: Makensy's the one who reported that to Chelsie). They said it would be a huge move for Makensy's resumé at the end, it would gain T'kor's trust, and Leah's the only one causing problems currently - for everyone - and booting the one making problems is always a winning move. Chelsie said Leah has stolen Makensy's social tactics and is using them to her own advantage, and she said not to worry about jury management and hurt feelings because Leah wasn't worried about hurting Makensy's feelings. It all felt like too much but they did a good job, and it was effective enough for Makensy to seriously consider it. She wondered if she should not say anything and just pull a blindside at tomorrow's veto meeting, and that it would make an awkward couple of days until eviction. Cam and Chelsie assured her that part would be okay. Rubina took the next shift with Makensy, who opened by asking if Leah's said anything about her, and she pointed out the various duos and said she doesn't feel like she's anybody's number one. Rubina said she thinks she (Makensy) is Chelsie's number one(!), and asked who Makensy would like to see as F3. Makensy said she'd love that to be the two of them plus Chelsie. Rubina said "I'll be honest, I don't have a good chance of winning, but if I can be part of making that historical moment happen, I don't care who wins" and Makensy said she felt the same. (The historical moment they want is to be the first season with two women at the end. Bless their hearts.) Rubina said she feels Leah's ideal F3 would be with Angela and Cam, and Makensy basically said not on her watch, and she is "considering" replacing Kimo with Leah. Rubina played along some more and Makensy finally said getting Leah out "is what I want, and I think everybody would be on page with that, and I just hope that's what we can do." And she added she hopes Angela wouldn't be mad and retaliate against her. (Maybe she forgot she told Angela her target was definitely Kimo. And let's not even talk about having a women's F2 goal but leaving two women on the block this week, when two men are right there.) Angela, assuming noms will stay the same, made a pitch to Cam and then to Makensy. Chelsie and Rubina had a check-in over the pool table, with Kimo joining, all of them unaware Leah was sunbathing up on the balcony. She seemed to be trying to listen, then she stood up, and heard shushing when they saw her. Leah went inside and told Angela and Makensy what happened, and said she didn't hear what was said but she heard them shushing each other when they saw her, and now she's freaking out. She went back out to the yard to find Rubina, Kimo, Chelsie doing a sound check to see if voices carried up to the balcony or not. Chelsie went to do damage control with Makensy, and to suggest her script for the veto meeting, and Rubina told Kimo that Makensy's considering taking him off the block and replacing him with Leah. He said "OMG no way," proving how unaware he is of how his fate's being decided. He and Rubina played some more pool, and sang their song again. This season is so bonkers and just keeps delivering for Team Fun Feeds. Makensy, Cam, Kimo, Rubina watched the Wild Robot movie, and later said they enjoyed it, while the episode was on for us, and Angela, Chelsie, Leah rehashed the season downstairs, with a lot of Tucker emphasis and a bit of Joseph. Leah met with Makensy and told her about catching Chelsie, Kimo, Rubina whispering then shushing earlier, and how that freaked her out. Makensy said she still wasn't sure what she's going to do but she didn't want to use her veto, and she stuck with her original story (for Leah and Angela) about wanting Kimo to go. She asked what Leah's heard and Leah said nobody's talked to her. Leah launched into one of her mega-marathon talks, saying if Angela goes it wouldn't be good for them, and she guaranteed Angela wouldn't put up either of them, and she pushed for a Rubina renom. She went on and on, repeating "I just don't want to played" multiple times. Eventually Makensy put on her sunglasses, started to sink deeper into her pillows, and yawned repeatedly. Downstairs, Kimo and Rubina remained completely unbothered, and led the others in more singing. Eventually Leah joined them and they shifted to word games. Cam took the first damage control shift with Makensy, who eventually swayed back to putting up Leah, saying "a vendetta [against Angela] shouldn't stop me from making a $750,000 choice." She then met with Kimo and said she's thinking of using her veto on him. He said "OMG.. is that good for your game though?" (There aren't enough facepalms.) Makensy said she wanted to know what Leah's been saying to people because she contradicted herself a lot to Makensy, saying things like wanting to boot Chelsie while also saying she wants to work with her, Cam, Makensy. And she said she knew Kimo, Rubina, Leah talked a lot last night. He said they did talk a lot last night but it wasn't about the game. And then he said Leah would keep Angela over Makensy, and that she is definitely a threat to keep in there. Kimo had a bottomless bowl of ramen or something and loudly slurped throughout most of their talk. Makensy said if she does this she might lose Leah's jury vote, but she'd gain everyone else's of their current seven, except maybe Angela. Kimo practically campaigned to stay on the block but that talk ended before he managed to do that, and he went to play pool with Rubina and release ginormous, thunderous belches. Chelsie swooped in to bat cleanup with Makensy, drawing a bath for her and talking her back around to replacing Kimo with Leah, and she'll be sleeping over in HOH to ensure Makensy doesn't backslide. When Makensy replaces Kimo with Leah, she'll effectively tank her own game, unless she can win out from here to the end, which is possible but unlikely. Tomorrow's feeds could be popcorn, unless Leah withdraws and goes into sad isolation mode, which is entirely possible. GET YOUR FEEDS to get the real story. It's a very messy, chaotic season.
