Chelsie suggested what Makensy should say in her talks and her speech. Word spread overnight anyway, Leah parked herself in HOH with Chelsie and Makensy for ages, T'kor told Kimo he needed to advocate for himself and at some point, Chelsie told him the plan. This morning Quinn pitched to Chelsie who said her only renom options were him, Leah, or Rubina. And she said Leah had been in HOH until 5am pleading for Quinn to go up. (I didn't see any of that, but apparently it wasn't true.)Things happened as laboriously planned: Makensy used her veto on Angela, and Chelsie put up Quinn in her place. Feeds came back to Makensy explaining to Kimo that he wasn't in a bad predicament, there wasn't a vendetta against him, and Quinn will go. Leah (still in last night's jammies) and Quinn commiserated in the unicorn room about their predicament, both saying there's an obvious trio that remains intact, when they aren't even a couple. This means Angela now holds the record for the most vetos used on her in a season, and it's especially ironic today since Makensy's been loudly against her since Week 1. She thanked Makensy and pledged allegiance to her, like she does. (Last night Cam, Chelsie, Makensy discussed Angela turning on Tucker and Leah after they saved her, but they believe this week will be a double eviction and figured Angela would stay loyal that long.) Many of them still expected Zingbot to show up at any time, unaware the zings happen on a Saturday before they do that week's veto comp. Chelsie started her Chelsie's Chisme show to tell us what's up but Cam walked in on her doing that, again, and he played it up. She finally got it started saying they "butchered an iconic comp" and we'll find out about that on Wednesday's show. Hello, we already know. Angela enjoyed the pool, once again unbothered at least for now, and Quinn sat silently in Angela's former sad avocado-eating chair for awhile, looking very bothered. Rubina gave him a peptalk, and Quinn griped about her later saying all she's done is "play tonsil hockey" in there. And various combos of people discussed the veto outcome and theories of how it came about. Makensy told Leah, and later Quinn, that she didn't know what Chelsie was going to do if/when she used her veto. We know she did know, and nobody can blame Makensy for acting innocent on that point, but it might be interesting to see if Makensy will continue saying she's playing an honest game without lies. Quinn told Leah she's being blamed for his renom and she said she knew that. He said he wants to tell Chelsie if she's on the block against Leah, he'd vote to evict Leah. He stressed he wouldn't actually do that but only wanted to rebuild some trust with Chelsie, and he wouldn't say it if Leah didn't want him to. Leah said she didn't want to put the idea of nominating her into people's heads. And Quinn said he'd told Makensy that Leah didn't know about Angela's alliance theory, and Makensy said Leah told her Quinn didn't know about it at all. Messy all around. Leah stayed in bed, and said she's "over everyone's bullshit" and she's starting to dislike people on a personal level, and she didn't want to feel that way. And Quinn said Kimo hadn't campaigned at all, again, and probably didn't need to, again. Makensy started second-guessing voting out Quinn but Chelsie ran a number of anti-Leah loops at her. Today proved that Chelsie's able to sway Makensy to what she wants, but this could be an ongoing theme for the next few days. Leah stayed in her bed all afternoon into evening. Kimo and Rubina played pool, with Rubina coming up with creative ways to reach the tricky shots. Cam went into a very lengthy routine that was pretty funny, extending his bit about being Michael B Jordan's cousin. T'kor made dinner with Makensy's help, and Chelsie said in a second Chelsie's Chisme show she was apprehensive about that. (Later, eating alone outside, Chelsie said it was okay but the broccoli was way too salty. Later she learned Makensy made that part.) Chelsie also told us she'd made a smart game move today that will result in only two men left with six women, but it broke her heart, while acknowledging Quinn would have done the same to her. She went into matchmaking mode and told his fans to slide into Quinn's DMs to hit him up for a date. She said she wouldn't be mad if he doesn't go home this week, and she also said Cam's been wearing socks and lotioning his feet lately. Quinn visited Leah and said he hoped she'd rejoin the rest of them. Chelsie and Rubina talked about Leah making today's noms about her, when she still hasn't ever hit the block, and they talked about her monopolizing the conversation at last night's s'mores party, then being upset because nobody was interacting with her. An impromptu talent show broke out after Cam sang a country freestyle song, which evolved into a singalong. Kimo emceed and introduced Chelsie who tossed a ball, T'kor who mimed crocheting, Makensy did a runway walk, Quinn did soccer skills, Angela did Big Brother Monologues (introducing it as being "like the one that starts with V"), Rubina did a breakdance, Kimo sang the alphabet like a lounge singer, which led to another singalong, and Cam wrapped things up with another song as Starfish Delight, done Broadway style. After that they wrote a group song about being in the Big Brother house, followed by another song plus choreography. (Throwback to BB1: see Links of the Day below.) Leah missed it all but later was up from her bed and in the shower. She told Angela she was upset about being blamed for starting all the drama by allegedly starting an alliance, and Angela assured her she hadn't put that on Leah when she told Chelsie and Makensy her suspicions. (Recall Angela did exclude Leah from most of the blame for that, and still wanted her in the new alliance Angela proposed.) Angela made rounds to try to clear things up and cover her tracks, like she does. Chelsie told her she had to iron that out with Leah, and she said Leah was throwing Quinn under the bus to her all night. Cam, Kimo, Rubina, T'kor griped about both Angela and Leah. Drama settled again, and most of them goofed off in the rock room doing fake commercials, with T'kor acting as a never-satisfied director. That led to more work on their BB House song arrangement and harmonies, with a lot of laughter along the way. GET YOUR FEEDS to get the real story. It's a very messy, chaotic season. Day 57 - Tuesday - September 10, 2024They were locked inside early again for another long midweek stretch. Quinn dressed up as a hobo and panhandled for "spare votes? spare votes?" He's often said he liked BB5 Jase, who made a cardboard begging sign when his game was over. Quinn tried to make a cereal box sign but was told no. (Jase's campaign flopped so hard, they executed the first intentional/orchestrated backdoor plan to get rid of him, and now we have blind veto player draws as a result.) Leah was up and socializing again, and several of them sang the Big Brother House song from last night for her. Apparently the morning control room crew didn't get the memo they sung that song on feeds for hours last night, and they got "stop singing." The hamsters hollered back that this one was legal. Makensy told Cam and Chelsie she'll let Angela and Leah think she'll vote with them to keep Quinn, leaving them on the dreaded "wrong side of the vote."Quinn kept up his panhandling hobo skit for a long time (too long), but there wasn't much else going on. Makensy battled with Team Ants with a badly-placed spritz of Raid and then she batted at flies in the pantry. That led to a round of tinfoil hats for her, Angela, Cam, Leah, Quinn, Rubina. Some of their designs were pretty good. Rubina's had a kinetic feature with a bobbing pompom. T'kor finally started to take out her braids, and Kimo told his life story as she worked on that. That was odd because I've heard most of it before so I'm sure they have, but whatever. He and Rubina both helped with the braids project - it's a long one. Leah was back in bed and Quinn urged her to go upstairs and socialize with the group. She said she didn't want to, but did want to have a meeting with Chelsie at some point about being thrown under the bus. She said she'd made things up with Chelsie before but now realizes Chelsie's playing a dirty game. They did eventually go upstairs to hang out with everyone except the trio of unbraiders, who were working downstairs. Angela and Leah both ended up taking over the conversation, and we know from prior comments that doesn't tend to go over well lately, and the HOH group broke up and scattered around. Angela did her weekly pledging of loyalty to her veto savior Makensy. Quinn continued carrying his hobo knapsack around all day, going a full ten hours with it (longer than Angela's 1,000 orbs task), and he said he'll do serious campaigning tomorrow. Kimo hasn't done any campaigning, again. T'kor told her life story (again?), Cam and Chelsie took a few braid shifts, and Makensy and Leah both asked questions about the process. Quinn panhandled into the unicorn room to pitch to Leah, who was upset, and he apologized for urging her to socialize earlier. She cried, and said she didn't want to be around people who don't like her, and that led into a lengthy monologue about what kind of person she is in life, she doesn't want to be fake in there just to further her game, and the like. I don't know what her true feelings are and I don't know if she does either. She's done her share of trashtalking this summer, including about Quinn, as most of them have. She might be trying to accept losing Joseph and soon Quinn in a one-two whammy, on top of being aware when the others stop listening to her. She did join the others to socialize as Cam gave more musical performances. GET YOUR FEEDS to get the real story. It's a very messy, chaotic season. Day 58 - Wednesday - September 11, 2024Last night's convos included Kimo, Rubina, T'kor visiting HOH to meet with Cam, Chelsie, Makensy, ironically making Angela's rumor come true. Both trios bonded over anti-Leah talk, with some anti-Quinn thrown in there as well. Later T'kor told Rubina and Kimo she hopes Leah hits the block before she does, so she can say she was the last one to be nominated. Meanwhile Quinn told Leah he thinks he can stay this week, and they can win out to the end, along with their usual silliness and giggly flirting. This morning kicked off with Angela thanking Makensy again for saving her, saying how nice it was to not see her suitcase in the pantry, along with group guessing games, happy birthday shoutouts to Cedric, no gametalk, and no unbraiding. Gametalk and unbraiding will probably come along as the day progresses.Cam and Chelsie had a lengthy talk about monetizing their Instagrams, along with Quinn and T'kor. Angela tried to get her blind tasting game going again but again got no takers. Instead there was another impromptu variety show in the bathroom with everyone except Makensy, who was snoozing in HOH. Some gametalk finally kicked off after 3pm with Rubina and T'kor agreeing to target Leah before Angela, Quinn pitching to Cam, and Kimo pitching to Angela. Actually Angela coached Kimo on how to pitch to everyone else, after confessing/explaining her eavesdropped rumor story, which both said everyone knew about now. She said she'd never vote Kimo out on a personal basis but asked for game reasons to keep him since he's in a known and strong trio. Kimo said he's not a physical threat, and Angela then provided more reasons for him to use: Quinn's a comp threat, he's turned on his allies, and is generally better at BB. She encouraged Kimo to point out his strengths in his talks and promote what he can do for people if he stays. Cam as Stefon, wearing Chelsie's stunt hair, did a walk-through as they were talking, and T'kor finally got back to her unbraiding project. Angela then asked Quinn the same: what can he do for her if he stays, and he said going forward his target would be Rubina. Campaign meetings continued. Quinn took an uncharacteristic approach to his, focusing less on gamebot talk and more on personal connections, phrasing several of them as goodbyes and saying how much he likes and appreciates them as individuals. When he and Kimo finally sat down to say goodbye, both became highly emotional and they pledged friendship to each other in the future. Chelsie gave an extended version of her religious journey and church positions to T'kor and Rubina as they worked on T'kor's braids, and Quinn who joined. After dinner they all gathered to sing Happy Birthday to Cedric, Cam led another singalong, and Quinn entertained loudly. Kimo retold his campaigns to Rubina. Chelsie and Makensy discussed the vote, with Chelsie saying her heart would like to keep Quinn but she knew him leaving would be best for her/their games, adding with him gone, Leah would "fall in line." They agreed they'd like a woman to win the season, and Makensy said if they're the finalists, the jury would have a hard time deciding. (Not really.) Angela met with Makensy to say she wasn't sure what to do tomorrow, especially with the trio remaining if Quinn goes. Leah and Chelsie finally met to hash out their problematic week. The unbraiding project carried on. As usual, late waffling kicked in but as of now I think it's safe to say Quinn will go off to jury tomorrow, possibly on a 5-1 vote with only Leah voting in his favor. But they could rev things up more tonight and tomorrow, and switch it all up again. GET YOUR FEEDS to get the real story. It's a very messy, chaotic season.
