All three picks have said they won't use it, at one time or another. Makensy proclaimed herself "comp beast of the season" to us, and she told Rubina she doesn't know what to talk about when socializing in there, saying her job was her usual topic. Rubina said "your job isn't who you are." Many of them suspected OTEV so Leah drilled Chelsie on days/events. Makensy joined them, then Quinn. The study group was surprised to realize Makensy had only been nominated three times (once by T'kor, once by Quinn's Deep Fake, and her quickie renom by Cedric when she pulled herself off immediately with her America's Power veto). They figured they thought it was more because she'd played in so many veto comps (or maybe her "fighting for her life every week" talk led them to think she'd been on the block more). All that led into an Angela bashing session about her whining and guilt trips, notably her latest loop about wanting her grandkids to see her on TV three times a week rather than missing her if she's in the jury house. Chelsie retold her pre-noms meeting with Angela again, and also told them Angela had pitched an F2 to her within five minutes of entering the house, and she'd done the same to Kimo.Feeds went to adoptable anipals at 12.35pm for their comp, and came back three hours later. The weather there was about 15 degrees cooler than yesterday, but still close to 100°. It was OTEV so the competitors at least got wet. Makensy won, bringing her morning prophecy to fruition, but here's the clincher: she did it in one round. Yep. All five of the others got the first question wrong, which sounded like it was which evictee did not play in the first HOH comp. They all grabbed a Tucker card, with Makensy getting it right with Cedric. (Recall Cedric and Chelsie sat that one out as mascots, and Tucker and Makensy were eliminated in the first round.) T'kor later said it was a "trick question" since it was way back on Day 2. But no: studying only day numbers and winners/evictions was their choice, and a poor one. I didn't hear what kind of character OTEV was this time but apparently it said "stupid fucks" when they all failed the first question. I'd have suggested OTEV the Chaotic Chameleon or OTEV the Buffoonery Baboon for this season, but they didn't ask me. Angela parked herself in her angry chair but she was being light and sociable, for now. Makensy visited Chelsie in HOH and talked as if they were solid teamies, and she continued to talk like that when Cam joined. Apparently they formed an F3 at some point, and they hinted at pushing for Kimo to go rather than Angela. When Makensy left, Cam and Chelsie shared some anti-Leah thoughts. Chances are Chelsie will play it safe and encourage Makensy to keep noms the same, but she might decide to take the opportunity to renom and boot Leah. Time will tell. Makensy said she'll hold meetings later or tomorrow, and limit them to 20 minutes each. Leah made chili, and went back to frequent babytalk again, which she probably thinks comes across as making her appear non-threatening, without considering the annoyance factor. Angela said she didn't think she has the votes but Leah encouraged her to talk with everyone, and not isolate herself. Quinn presented Leah with a "friendship pin" which might have been a safety pin? I'm not sure. Which reminds me, Rubina brought in some positive/affirmation message bracelets and previously gave one to T'kor and to Leah. Rubina and T'kor planned for her to give Chelsie the last one when she won HOH but as of last night, she hadn't gotten around to it yet. This could be nothing, but it could develop into something so I'm just noting it here in case it does. They got a booze delivery (likely because the show needs some content from them) and feedmasters once again flashed to side-eye cat as Chelsie, Makensy, Cam cozied up together. Truth or Dare kicked off, and that resulted in Kimo licking the floor. It should have ended there, but no. Rubina had made a joke about being T'kor's shield in the bigger game they're playing before the booze arrived, and that bubbled up again for some reason, sending T'kor to the bathroom with Rubina following. Rubina tried to explain it was a joke, it's a game and they'll be friends and sisters after this, and they'll be okay no matter what. T'kor's sadness persisted and explanations continued, as occasional whoops and hollers were heard from those playing Kiss Marry Kill in the other room. Kimo joined to ask what was going on and they said they were just having a heart to heart, and he retold the Kiss Marry Kill answers. Leah carried around some chili in a ziploc bag, T'kor's glasses were broken, Cam told Rubina she has "fuckboy tendencies," Leah/Quinn and Rubina/Quinn did not kiss, but Rubina/Makensy did, and a surplus glass of wine ended up on the floor, as happens. T'kor pointed out to Kimo and Rubina that Quinn only nodded and didn't verbalize "yes" when asked if he'll keep Kimo this week. GET YOUR FEEDS to get the real story. Day 55 - Sunday - September 8, 2024Angela woke up ready to cook, and she got right to it. She told Chelsie first thing this morning she "heard a lot of shit, bad shit" last night, and knows she's going home. She said she's been trusting the wrong people after eavesdropping twice last night, saying she couldn't name names but eventually she said the trio of T'kor/Rubina/Kimo were working with Leah and Quinn, and plotting against everyone else. She pitched an alliance to include the two of them plus Makensy and Leah, and maybe Cam, to flip on Quinn. Chelsie suggested Angela continue to gather info, and make her pitch to Makensy. Angela repeated the five "were so giddy and laughing last night, so excited - not Leah, but the others." That group was up very late last night, including Leah (uncharacteristically), but they were sippy and mostly goofing. Angela also told Chelsie and later Makensy that she had to stop playing like a mom, with her heart, trying to protect everyone. I don't know.Chelsie reported the story to Cam, and Angela told it to Makensy, who acknowledged it was unusual that Leah was up so late last night. Chelsie met with Makensy and said "so eff it, use it on Angela," Makensy replied "fuck!" and both laughed. Chelsie retold to T'kor and Rubina who scoffed and denied aligning with Quinn and Leah of course, but they seemed okay with the idea of Quinn or Leah going instead of Angela. Chelsie said she'd give them the option of which should be the renom. T'kor said "petty wise" she'd prefer Quinn goes but acknowledged Leah has more connections than him. Chelsie wrapped that meeting saying "Quinn and Leah have to be split up this week" and T'kor and Rubina both agreed. Makensy held some more meetings, and today we add POVitis to the BB lexicon because she did the majority of the talking in those meetings, most of it about having power and debating how to wield it. (That's due in part to Chelsie boosting her up in my opinion, since Chelsie has said since winning HOH she has bigger targets than Angela or Kimo. It looks like she'll be getting what she wants without letting people know it's what she wanted all along.) More retells ensued, including T'kor and Rubina telling Kimo, who said flip talk was happening "like clockwork" - accurate. Leah and Quinn both seemed relatively carefree as the impending doom of one or the other swirled around them. Leah finally met with Chelsie who told her Angela's suspicions, which Leah denied of course, and Chelsie reiterated her confusion about Angela wanting to include Leah in a new alliance after ratting her out as part of the supposed late night scheming. Chelsie and Cam settled on saving Angela and replacing her with Quinn, but the flip-flopping is likely to carry on, so keep it in pencil as usual. The debate boils down to Leah having more and better social connections versus Quinn being more likely to win comps. If the veto's used on Angela for a third time, it will set a season record. (Dan had three vetos used on him, but over two seasons.) And if it does happen again, it will be from something Angela set in motion this time, even though they all know her story isn't true. You could not make it up. Props to production too: OTEV flopped hard yesterday so they sent in some booze, and content was created for Wednesday's show. After the episode ended, Makensy was alone in her bed quietly complaining (between BB wakeup announcements) about being tired of talking to people, and she sounded like she was second-guessing the decision to use the veto. Leah joined and they compared notes about Angela's theory, and the resulting fallout. Leah said Angela told her she plans to be in the top three at the end, and she needs Makensy to use this veto on her for that to happen. (I don't know if Angela said that, like that, but no matter: these hamsters rarely doubt anything anyone says so it's irrelevant if it's true or not, unless they get caught lying.) Makensy said she didn't want to be responsible for ending someone's game, and she said some want Kimo to go this week, and that Quinn was leading that charge. That seemed to surprise Leah. And Makensy said she didn't think people were seeing her and Cam as a showmance, since she was already in one, and she said she likes Cam as a person but not like that. Cam told Makensy that Quinn needs to go, as then it'll be them plus Chelsie versus T'kor/Rubina/Kimo going forward, with Leah and Angela unlikely to win comps but useful for pawns and votes. Chelsie joined and they ran the loops some more, including the Cam/Makensy petting thing, which finally gave Chelsie an opening to say it's not a good look as people will see it as they're working together. If Quinn suspected anything, he didn't let on. Leah may have caught a vibe or three, and she arranged a social s'mores event that may have been an attempt to buddy up with everyone, or maybe it was just a social s'mores event for its own sake. She wore jammies, and they toasted marshmallows on the grill as they chatted about general topics, trips they've been on and would like to take, and the like. I have it on good authority the clanking contraption was not happy with all that sugary sweetness being poked into its innards, but no fingers were burned. Tomorrow could be another popcorn-worthy Monday afternoon, depending what happens and what the reactions are like. As of now, Makensy will use her veto on Angela and Chelsie will put up Quinn in her place, but of course that's subject to change. GET YOUR FEEDS to get the real story.
