Blue checked after their draw and there was a Cirie chip in the box, as they'd done at least one other time. That meant everyone else would play, and Jag's comp strategy track this morning was stay or fold, so he went around assigning stay/fold drop positions to everyone. Bowie was called out by BB for napping, but she said (accurately) that it was only around 9.30am, since one of their tapes says they "must be awake between the hours of 10am and 10pm."If you're behind, Jag's target was Blue but he convinced her his target was America. America, Bowie, Matt, Cirie were aware of that, with only Felicia and Blue in the dark. Cirie did tell Felicia it was likely the plan if Blue went up as an original nominee, which she did. Both nominees seemed to believe they were a pawn to get the other one out. Feeds were down for the veto comp from 10.37am to 2.20pm and Jag won again. The comp was individually timed runs and involved pics of evictees with season items like the kicking machine, pies, and a robot, plus running to place items. I don't know if it was memory or puzzle based, or maybe both. Blue finished second, and Bowie third. Matt was bummed by his performance and not making the top three times, two of which were six minutes and ten minutes. America was annoyed at Matt being bummed, muttering to herself that he wasn't even in danger. Jag checked in with America and again assured her she'll be safe. Blue continued being or acting unbothered and she set to making naan from scratch, although she couldn't remember the measurements for the ingredients, and she made excited plans with Jag and Matt for the double they assumed (correctly) will be Thursday. Jag told Matt that Felicia came to him right before the comp to say Cirie told Blue that Jag was actually targeting her, adding "so Cirie sold us out" and "I'm not gonna target Cirie this week." (I don't know if Cirie did tell that to Blue, but she did tell her to try to win veto.) America and Bowie continued the bumper pool tourney that Cory and Bowie had been playing before he left. If there's anything Jag's guaranteed to do, it's over-complicate everything when he holds HOH and veto. He ran a couple dozen scenarios to Matt about his pre-veto convo with Felicia, which included her telling him "maybe you should reconsider who you're going after." Jag took that to mean he should target Cirie. Matt made a lot of agreeing noises and kept saying he was tired, at one point letting out a huge yawn. He only got animated when he said he needed an HOH win. Jag carried on about who to tell what to, and they finally agreed to now tell Bowie that Blue's still the target, tell Felicia and Blue that America's the target, tell Cirie it was undecided, and tell America she's good. Felicia then pulled Matt into the pantry to retell her pre-veto convo with Jag. She said she did trust their F4 with Jag and Cirie, but Cirie had told Bowie about Felicia's girls alliance pitch, and Cirie told Blue that she was the target this week, and "Jag's the new Cameron" and they needed to get him gone. And she told Matt she'd been trying to keep Cirie pulled in with their F4 but "she's convinced Jag wants to flip the vote and take out Blue on Thursday." That is true, but Felicia said she'd tried to tell Cirie that Jag and Matt wanted America gone. And Felicia said Cirie was convinced Jag and Matt have an F3 with Bowie (they do). Felicia said she told both Jag and Matt all that so she doesn't get blamed for the stories when they spread. (In this case, Felicia was doing all the spreading.) Things settled back down to quiet plus cooking for quite awhile and then suddenly Bowie and Matt were whispering, and Cirie and Felicia were talking. I think Matt just retold the Felicia info to Bowie, and Cirie may have been sniffing to find out about that info? Just a guess. She told Felicia they just have to play it cool "and be in love with our foursome" and she did a little low-energy cheer "four, four, crash boom bah." Felicia said "mm-hmm" and Cirie said "I got no question, I trust you 1,000%." (She may have noticed Felicia pulling Jag and/or Matt aside, and was trying to get ahead of that.) Blue and Cirie's dinner using Jag's HOH supplies and seasonings was finally ready when the backyard opened, and they discovered they'd gotten the grill. (Hey grill, hey!) Matt told Jag that Felicia had pulled him aside to retell her pre-veto talk with Jag, and that she'd said Cirie thought the guys had an F3 with Bowie. Jag said "oh shit." They settled down to eat together outside like a happy family, more or less. Matt retold his Felicia convo to Jag again, and Felicia had a chat with Bowie and told her Cirie had thought they were strategizing together the other day when they were just chatting, and remarking on there being only two guys left. (That was included in Felicia's tell-alls to Jag and Matt earlier.) Felicia made a big show about everybody keeps talking about "Felicia said" this or that, and she said "I'm trying to become that Shut Up Felicia Stop Talking." Hmm not so much today, ma'am. Gray robes started multiplying, with both America and Blue intentionally or coincidentally emulating Cirie's usual attire. America's robe was probably Cory's but I don't know where Blue's came from. Jag knocked a ball clean off the pool table while sinking another one, and he and Matt got a little heated arguing about whether that was a scratch or not. I was reminded of BB20 Mark and Josh who were besties for weeks until they had a similar argument over the pool table, leading to flying pickle juice and brandished frying pans. They were never pals again, but Matt and Jag didn't take it that far. Felicia went to HOH again, to talk about Cirie again, with more (supposed?) retells, and Felicia saying Cirie was suddenly very paranoid, and didn't know if their F4 was real, and Matt/Jag/Bowie have an F3 deal. Meanwhile Bowie told Matt maybe they shouldn't keep Felicia in the dark for too long about Blue actually being the target, or America would tell her next week that it was the plan all along. Bowie told Cirie she'd keep Matt over Jag when they get to that point. Felicia told Cirie "I did talk to Jag just a little bit" and that he'd said the plan's the same, "America's going home." (I had to laugh at "just a little bit.") Bowie also told Jag they should let Felicia know that Blue's going, and Blue as well after the veto meeting. Jag said they shouldn't blindside any finals voters (other than the two they already did, I guess). Matt joined and the three of them rehashed it all again. Felicia told Cirie she didn't think Bowie would put up Jag or Matt in the double, "or could we be wrong?" She of course didn't indicate that she'd told Jag and Matt about Cirie telling her she thought those three were aligned. Both talked as if America was this week's target, which Cirie knew to be untrue, and again, Felicia said yesterday that Cirie had told Blue she was the target. Blue then told Cirie that Jag had told her he did a stunt last week and there was no reason to do another this week, and Cirie went along with that, indicating she had not in fact told Blue she was the real target. Felicia rejoined, and Blue said "obviously Jag's not gonna use the veto, which is fine, I'm fine being a pawn.. as long as I stay." Again, no corrections or tip-offs came up from that, and Blue said she'd campaign for appearances sake, but would take the opportunity to plan ahead when she "campaigns" to Cirie and Felicia. Felicia told Matt that Cirie told her Bowie said they have to get rid of one of the guys in the double, adding "and that surprised me."With the arrival of the grill last night, plans were made for a barbecue later, with hopes for a booze delivery. Felicia asked Mr B for aprons for grilling, and they appeared in the pantry a bit later. Matt told Jag about Felicia's latest tell-all, but he left Cirie's name out of it. Jag spun his loops, including that he thought Felicia was trying to split them away from Bowie, and both guys agreed Cirie probably wouldn't win in the double, nor put them up if she does. Jag said he'd talk to America and tell her if they save her this week, he'd protect her the following week (cycle) if she wins and keeps him safe in this upcoming cycle. She already offered to do that if she doesn't go out this week (but she likely wouldn't stick to that, in my opinion. I don't think there's anyone who wouldn't put up Jag in the double, but we'll see how it unfolds.) Jag and Matt discussed a lot more rotating F4 combos and pitches, and agreed to tell Felicia she's their true third, and that was why Blue had to go. Felicia visited Jag in HOH again, and after shmoozing about his pics and food, she told him Cirie said Bowie told her maybe they'd get lucky and get one of the guys out in the double. Jag asked if Bowie said that to her or Cirie? (Matt left Cirie out of his retell of this one.) Felicia said it was Cirie, Bowie didn't tell her that. Jag said Felicia's the only one who'd brought any info to him this week "so at this point I'm riding with you and Matt." Felicia said she kept trying to tell Cirie "we're final four [with Jag, Matt], stop messing with it." Jag pitched the idea of booting Blue rather than America, due to her better comp skills, and Felicia seemed fine with the idea. Jag asked who she'd put up in the double and she said it would depend on who's still there, but probably Bowie and America. Jag replied "hmmm" to that one. Jag said they could still rock with their F4 and Felicia continued to mess with that by saying she didn't want to throw Cirie under the bus since they'd been tight since the start, but "Cirie's gotten very good through talking" and getting others to do things, adding "she doesn't want to be seen as the bad guy." Jag asked her thoughts on giving Blue a heads-up, saying he didn't want to blindside her "necessarily" and Felicia suggested waiting until after the veto meeting, or even until Wednesday. Feeds went to WBRB for a few when they were ready to light the grill, possibly making sure they knew how to do it properly and safely (spoilsports). It was lit and grilling commenced mostly without incident, though there was one minor flare-up event. It's way too early to count out the Metal Monster though, it's probably just biding its time and lulling them into thinking they have nothing to fear from it. The selfie camera also came out with another repetitive and non-insightful question, two bottles of wine were delivered, and everyone enjoyed their burgers and sides, and conversation. Felicia made a pitch to Mr B in the pantry for more booze, and eventually six beers and two hard seltzers were delivered. Matt and Jag did a Diary together, and later wondered who/when to share Jag's HOH cider, and Matt asked how they'd get America out next. Felicia told Cirie she talked to Jag and he swore their F4 was solid. Cirie said "don't make him think we doubt it at all" and Felicia said "oh right, right, not at all." (Felicia's spent two days trying to make him doubt Cirie's part in that F4, but okay.) Felicia also said Jag hoped if he keeps America she wouldn't put him up. Cirie pointed out how tight Matt and Jag were as they played pool, and how they're always together, adding "talk about Cormerica, that's Mag." A little later they discussed voting out Blue or America, and Felicia said they need to get America and Bowie out in the double. Cirie said "what do you mean? We need Matt or Jag out." America made a lengthy veto pitch to Jag, who basically said it's too late now, but they went on and on anyway. I don't expect Jag to use his veto tomorrow, and the Blue or America waffling will kick into high gear. SUBSCRIBE to my Patreon to get these daily recaps in your email box!
