Felicia sat down with Matt and he told her "Blue might need to be the target," with the Reason being her better comp abilities. He added that he wasn't trying to be like Hisam or Cameron, telling people how to vote. Felicia didn't push back on that, but she did say Cirie wanted Matt and Jag to do her dirty work for her, so be careful. Cirie started a quiet campaign to save Blue, by telling various of them that Cory might have told America to lay low in this week's comps to reduce the target on herself, especially regarding question comps, and she pointed out that the double HOH comp would likely be questions because it has to be fast. She said several times that would be "genius advice, but [Cory]'s a genius." Matt told Cirie he'd take a shot at Jag if he wins the F4 HOH, adding "the TV's gonna be shocked," meaning the viewers. He had himself, Cirie, Felicia, Jag in that F4 scenario. Cirie talked as if America would be there after the double, and Matt didn't question that.Matt reported to Jag that Cirie said she thought America would be the only one to take a shot against them in the double. Jag asked if Cirie suggested they keep Blue? Matt said no, she'd been talking next week. Matt also told Jag that Bowie suggested America threw this week's comps to reduce the target on herself (Cirie's pitch) but Jag said he was sure America didn't throw the veto. Cirie checked in with Blue and told her not to mention anything to Bowie about going after Matt and Jag. Blue pitched to Felicia, saying she felt she was closer to her (Felicia) than Cirie, but she wanted to stay and help get the three of them to the end. Jag did not use his veto, but the waffling over booting Blue or America had already started before the veto meeting. Since there was limited time for those convos, Matt still hadn't talked to Cirie about Felicia's anti-Cirie campaign of the last couple days, that I'm aware of. Matt and Jag lit the grill for lunch without incident, the clanking contraption probably figuring there was more than enough chaos already, so it could take its time before toasting any hamsters. Campaigning started up, with Blue pitching to Bowie, who retold to Matt and then Jag. Cirie told Felicia "told you" about Blue being the target. Felicia said Blue thought she had their votes and asked what they should do. Cirie said "let Jag break a tie and get the blood on his hands," rather than their own, mentioning jury management. She then said "if [Jag] wants it that bad, then do it." And then she added "unless you don't care about our game and you just care about your own" which made me think she knew Felicia had been getting up to things behind her back. Matt told Cirie and Felicia he'll vote out Blue, and then Matt and Cirie ran double eviction scenarios as if America would still be there. Both Blue and America started their campaign pitches to various people. Jag and Matt wanted to secretly crack open stashed beers and Jag's HOH cider, and they over-complicated who to share it with and when, like they do. Eventually Jag decided to ask everyone what color turban to change into to wear with his grilling apron and he dropped hints to Bowie and America to go to HOH. They did, and they each got some booze. Felicia and Cirie were watching people going upstairs and getting a little perturbed about the guys not starting to grill the chicken, but upstairs the guys said they shouldn't be drinking and grilling, adding "Felicia can do it." Felicia did fire up the grill, Bowie went back to HOH to let the guys know that, and when she told Felicia that America was up there campaigning, Felicia said "I ain't mad but you guys said you wanted to cook." The guys finally made it to the backyard and gathered around the grill where Felicia was doing the chicken, and they tried to troubleshoot as a trio why it wasn't as hot as yesterday. Felicia later told Jag and Matt that she'd asked America who she'd want to sit with at F2 and she didn't answer, which Felicia said made her believe that would be Cirie. (America did tell Felicia she'd want to go to F3 with her and Cirie.) Later Felicia said to herself/us "Cirie, you ain't gettin to no final three." Everything seemed pretty set for Blue to go first on Thursday, with most everyone knowing that except Blue, but waffling and pitches and rehashes are going to be a lot. I have a few other commitments this week, so I need to beg off for a couple days. I'll be back for the double eviction Thursday. SUBSCRIBE to my Patreon to get these daily recaps in your email box! Day 84 - Tuesday - October 24, 2023A quick check-in/update: Felicia became the latest peeking-into-the-HOH meme when she ding-donged this morning to drag Cirie some more. It was nearly 10.30am and Felicia gets up much earlier than that, so I'd guess she worked up her pitch for a few hours before finally venturing upstairs to spill it. She woke up Jag saying "I gotta talk to you about some shit" and she waited as he visited the bathroom. Then she dove right in saying "Cirie told me last night her and Matt were talking about the best time to take you out," if that should be in the double or when they're at five. I think most of this anti-Cirie campaign from Felicia is backfiring onto her, but she probably thinks it's being effective so she's still rolling with it. You have to laugh.I didn't watch much today but I'm pretty sure not much happened that hasn't been happening for awhile, meaning a lot of scenario-running for the double and next week, and Blue continuing to mistakenly think she'll be staying. And they did some socializing which included telling and grading each other's improv stories. But later, Matt finally told Cirie how Felicia's been dragging her to him and Jag. They went to HOH to talk things over with Jag, and they fell into side tangents about whether Thursday's vote should be unanimous or a tie for Jag to break. Cirie said Felicia was the one pushing for a tie. And they talked about whether Blue should be warned tomorrow she's going or not. Matt was against that idea because Blue would amp up her campaigning and he didn't want to deal with that. (He and Bowie have both expressed fatigue with nominee campaigning, when neither has had to do it, yet.) Cirie was also against that because it would be fruitless for Blue. (And likely also because Jag breaking a tie to send out Blue would be a strike against him at finals.) SUBSCRIBE to my Patreon to get these daily recaps in your email box! Day 85 - Wednesday - October 25, 2023There wasn't much waffling this Wednesday as Blue going first in tomorrow's double was a foregone conclusion, but buzzing about what to do for the second eviction, and the one after that, didn't let up, as they kept cycling through every option and possibility depending who was talking to whom. Bowie told Cirie that Felicia said she (Cirie) wanted the guys gone, and that she wanted a split vote tomorrow, and she said Felicia was basically twisting Cirie's words all over town. Felicia sat down with Matt and Jag as they had a scramble room cuddle session, to spin and spiral some more. She suggested Jag wait until tomorrow to tell Blue she's a goner. Most out here were waiting for a Cirie vs Felicia showdown, but they remained cordial to each other face-to-face, as if they were still solid with each other.Blue's paranoia kicked in and she started spiraling and unspooling at various of them, including Jag. Felicia told Cirie she'd tell Jag she was either going to give Blue her vote and let Jag break a tie if there was one, or she'd tell Blue she was going. She then went right to Jag with that and told him to choose which he preferred. He told Felicia to vote to keep Blue rather than telling her she was going, but to wait to do that til tomorrow. He pointedly avoided looking at Felicia for that convo. (Recall that after the veto comp, Jag told Matt they'd tell Blue she'd be leaving after the veto meeting, but they didn't do that, and now we're here.) Felicia later backtracked today's project, and she told Jag and Cirie she'll just "stick with the plan" and vote out Blue after all, for a 4-0 vote.
