Day 53 - Friday - August 29, 2025
Last night Vince told Keanu that Rachel was going to put him up if she'd won HOH and she had her speech all planned. Keanu met with Rachel, who admitted it, and he wanted to know what the speech was. She wouldn't say, and they joked that maybe it would have been another iconic "floaters grab a lifevest" something but the BB community will never know. This morning Rachel told Kelley how much she misses Brendon, especially with their anniversary looming, and said (again) that everything in the house and yard reminds her of him. Kelley said "I see Corey in a lot of things here too.. birds, butterflies, some of the spoons have little Cs on them." Rachel's self-restraint was again admirable, giving no hint that it's not the same. At all. Mickey did a makeup tutorial for us, and she looked stunning as she did. The yard remained open so an inside veto comp seems likely. The tiny one would be my guess, though I don't know how Angela would factor into that one.
Vince moped in his Have-not bed, and Morgan was at his side rubbing his arm when Ava came along, with an eyeroll for us. Vince finally got vertical and made another plea to Keanu not to put him up. He apologized for being so emotional about it last night, and he didn't cry this time, but he got heated and said he'll never vote against Keanu on the block, he will vote for him in jury, and he doesn't want to go home. Keanu said he doesn't want Vince to go home but if he does, "it guarantees none of my allies will ever go home again." Vince replied "but I'm your ally!" Keanu said "are you?" And he rattled off Vince's prior crimes of voting against Adrian, and Rylie, especially after their Day 2 Unexpendables pact, and putting Katherine up and out. Keanu didn't go easy on him as they went back and forth, eventually saying "you are consistently choosing one person [Morgan] over the grander scheme of things, that's why I want that person to go," adding "I want you to choose me, I chose you Day 2" and "if you win [veto] and she goes, it'll all have been worth it." Finally Keanu stood up and said he's hungry, and they parted with a hug and "love you in here and will outside" vows, and Vince said "I'm tough, I'll win."
Vince reported to Mickey and Morgan that he'll be hitting the block, and Mickey said "you're an ally, is that how we're playing?" (It's how most of them were playing for half the season.) Earlier Mickey told Will she won't be surprised if she goes up, and she figured she, Ashley, Ava, Morgan were the likeliest candidates. Feeds went to adoptable anipals around 2pm for noms.
Keanu stuck to his plan and nominated Mickey, Morgan, Vince, as Rachel did two weeks ago. Rachel said Vince wouldn't hug her during the hugging phase afterwards. Vince had a few rerun words with Keanu, then gave a series of tragic movie posters with Morgan. He said people say he has no loyalty but he does, to her, and that these noms have nothing to do with her. She said they do (correct, since she's Keanu's target, but I don't think she realizes that). Vince dove deep into his sniffly, poor-me routine saying it's all due to his own actions and he has to live with it, etc etc, and he sprinkled in his usual, subtle guilt trips here and there, and Morgan used her small, slow, sad voice. Vince said "we still have two chances" and she said "I haven't won anything." Oop. Both were sad and sniffly and it was tragic beyond belief. Elsewhere, Ashley told Will even if she plays and wins veto, she can't use it because Ava would go up. Keanu also spoke with Mickey and explained he needed a third seat filler, she said she'd advocated for him to stay in the past, and he said "there's not much more I can say."
Morgan then went to HOH to tell Keanu she woke up today knowing she was going on the block because of a dream she had (and also because Vince told her last night). She used her tiny sob voice and Morgan-centric logic to go on and on about how loyal she is, she and Vince don't even have a Final Two, and etc etc. He said she never investigates what she hears before acting on it, which makes her a liability. Oof. Then she said she wanted to show him her M&Ms strategizing method but she didn't want Mickey to see her getting them since Mickey stole her M&Ms idea, so she used his HOH snacks to play out renom scenarios. Meanwhile Vince ran his sniffly poor-me routine for Lauren. Rachel and Mickey worked on dinner prep, and later Mickey, Morgan, Vince had a block party around Vince's Have-not sickbed, saying they survived this once before and they can do it again, and joking(?) that they're the worst alliance ever. Ashley, Kelley, Will chatted outside, unbothered. Rachel visited Vince's Have-not sickbed to ask if he's okay and he said he is, and she asked for, and got, the hug she didn't get after noms. (It's that easy, Kelley.) Vince finally ate some slop Rachel made, with Kelley and Morgan coaching him, and he eventually got out of bed and rebounded a bit.
Evening brought some downtime around the pool with skits and general chat. Ashley told Vince everyone thinks Morgan's crashing out because of him being on the block, not herself, and she added "that girl loves you." He replied "that's so sweet, I appreciate her so much." Kelley told Ashley she thinks Morgan is Keanu's target, and later she told Keanu that suspicion. He told her he'd like Vince to come down, and he'd put up Ashley as renom. (I'm not convinced that's true, since he told Ashley first last night who his noms would be, and he offered her safety next week as well, and he stressed to Vince the only reason he went up was to ensure Vince wouldn't use veto on Morgan. It is Kelley he said that to, and none of them trust her, and he knows Ashley going up would hurt his and Rachel's relationship, which is just starting to mend again.) But Vince told Lauren that Keanu told him to pick her for veto if he gets to pick, because he wants Vince to come off the block, and both Keanu and Kelley will use it on him if they win. Morgan hinted to Ashley and Will that Rachel had a hand in Keanu's noms, which we know isn't true, but we're never more than an hour away from Rachel being the root of all evil. Rachel Rachel Rachel.
Another given is Kelley never stops stirring the pot: she also told Morgan she thinks she's the target. Morgan fell apart to Ashley because there's nobody who'd use veto on her, but she said she thinks Keanu's target is Mickey. And Morgan asked Ashley if it's odd that Keanu's noms were the same as Rachel's? Ashley said not really. Mickey and Rachel talked like they'll work together going forward, but I don't know if either meant it. Keanu told Vince in his pantry office, with Kelley present, that Morgan thinks she has the votes against anyone, and he said she might use veto on Vince, and Kelley randomly ran around the table. Mickey came in for something, and then went upstairs to whisper to Ashley that she'd caught the three of them talking game, but she didn't know what it was about. Vince told Mickey that Kelley was needling him about being on the block and on slop. There might be a shortage of good players this year, but there's plenty of pot-stirrers. Most of them went to bed before midnight.

Day 52 - Thursday - August 28, 2025
Vince and Morgan were up late yet again. He usually gets more catch-up naps than she does, and if she doesn't get some good sleep soon, I think she could spin way out. And the fanbase rabies that lost their focus with Rylie's eviction found a new target with the Vince/Morgan touchy-flirty stuff, with some people trying to engage Vince's girlfriend and other family members. Don't be horrible.
Julie posted her Block Buster preview: tonight's is a pachinko board with various barriers, and they have to trial-and-error to place five additional barriers correctly so a ball lands successfully in the chute at the end.
Despite talking votes for days, the hamsters scrambled again today to try to decide who to evict. I think Ava's now safer than she was yesterday, but I'm just going to wait for Julie to tell one of the ladies to come on down, because it's all too ridiculous and exhausting to try to keep up with. Kelley told Ava if she (Kelley) goes tonight, Ava, Ashley, Will will be used by others as pawns going forward, and she said Ava should target those who would use her. And she repeated her threat to give "a very explosive speech in lieu of hugs and bullshit" if she's evicted. Kelley's also been a focus of fanbase rabies for some time, and that keeps increasing the longer she stays.
Julie wore an off-white summery pantsuit, reminding me she hasn't had a clunker look yet this season. Maybe she got a new stylist. The episode recaps included Keanu giving Vince a beatdown followed by shmoozy boosting in the gym, set to soaring violins like a bro movie's pivotal scene. They omitted the Rachel and Keanu gym fight, but they did add Rachel telling Keanu "go make your little eggs" so that's something. And they included Ava overhearing Ashley and Lauren discussing the vote, plus Lauren's panic run to Vince about that, which only happened yesterday so I wonder what they cut in order to add that. Kelley won another Block Buster and another save, with Ava finishing right behind her. The three competitors hugged afterwards in an odd overhead shot that made them look like miniature people, à la Honey I Shrunk the Hamsters. When they returned to the living room, there was a textbook "smattering of applause" when Julie announced Kelley earned safety once again.
Katherine was evicted 7-1, with Lauren the sole dissenter voting to evict Ava. Julie asked Katherine whose votes she expected and Katherine said she was confident she'd have Lauren's vote, and maybe Kelley's and Keanu's as well. Julie went ahead with her next card question anyway to ask who Katherine thought her one vote was, and she repeated Lauren. And Julie told her about the Judges but the pics behind her included Mickey instead of Morgan. They may have realized that goof and whispered in Julie's earpiece because she stressed "and MORGAN" when she rattled off the roster names to Katherine. And she asked several showmance questions, with some IYKYK wording: "some thought you were not as into it as Rylie" - some, as in everyone except the cast. Katherine said she was and is into it, she "really really" likes him, and is excited to see him again. And again Julie's request for "final thoughts" was would she like to pursue a relationship with him, and Katherine said she'll see, and "the bright side is I get to reconnect with him now."
Julie told us next week's shows will be as usual, with the addition of Angela making an appearance on the veto show, and Mastermind returning next Thursday. She also told us after next week's eviction, the remainders will be jurors or finalists.
Feeds didn't come back til around 9.50pm, and it looked like they'd been done with their comp for at least a little while. Keanu won the HOH, adding to his already-impressive wins resumé. The comp was true/false questions about color details in videos featuring themselves. Kelley was second, and she said she missed "on her own meme." It's crazy they were locked inside since Tuesday morning for a quiz comp, but here we are. Rachel and Mickey had White Claws so I assume they had a booze delivery as well, since they only got two cans of that last night and they didn't last long once Have-nots ended. Keanu told Ashley he's extending an olive branch and safety for two weeks, and he plans to work with her and Rachel. He said he has no beef with or reason to put up Lauren, Kelley, Ava, or Will. That leaves Mickey, Morgan, Vince as his probable noms, as of now. He may have been lying to Ashley but pre-emptive, pro-active lying hasn't really been his style thus far. And of course the plan could change as he talks with others.
Morgan and Vince shared a 30-second hug in the kitchen with everyone or nearly everyone present, and Keanu staring at them, and then they stood side by side surveying the room, before they sat together at the table to make M&Ms formations. Keanu told Lauren he's not putting her up, and he knows who his noms will be and who his target is, and he said he'd love for her to play veto and hopes she'd keep noms the same if she wins. (Uh-oh, we've been down this road before.) He told her he "loves Vinny to death but he made a meek move and they're down an ally, and he can't turn a blind eye to it anymore." Keanu read a Diary card announcing Morgan, Ava, Will had to pick the new Have-nots. Lauren volunteered for Morgan, Ava volunteered for Ashley, and Rachel volunteered for Will but everyone said no since she already did it two weeks in a row. Kelley and Vince haven't been HN yet so they did rock-paper-scissors, Vince lost, and he kind of crumpled. Talk about the rules and cold showers led Will to snap at Ashley about monitoring his showering and pajamas habits.
Keanu got his room at midnight, with pics of his mom and sisters. (He later said he figured his dad doesn't want to be on TV.) He said he'd only asked for bananas, eggs, protein bars, and measuring cups to eat cereal from but of course he got the full convenience store and packed fridge and freezer, along with a hoodie, pants, shades, and visor. He read his letter from mom and choked up partway through as it said "it's not just a competition but a test of character, resilience, and faith," along with a lot of religious boosting. Several gave him hugs afterwards including Will for an extended, crying hug. Rachel stayed behind when the others left, like she does, and Keanu told her the letter was a good reminder for him to keep his morals, values, integrity, and stay who he is, and that last week he'd done something he shouldn't have. He didn't talk about his noms other than to say he has a good idea of what he'll do. Like Rachel, Keanu's letting Will have the room and he'll sleep in the bunk beds. Will apologized to Ashley and said she's still his favorite person in there.
Keanu told Vince he's not sure about Ava, or Mickey, and he said he wished Katherine hadn't left, and he eventually acknowledged when asked directly that he might put up Vince because his target is Morgan, and Vince is the only one who might use veto on her. Of course Vince said he wouldn't, and he begged for Keanu to let him make jury. Keanu held firm, reminding Vince of his prior crimes, Vince whined and begged some more, Keanu said he might change his mind and put up Ava with Morgan and Mickey, but he went back to reminding Vince of his previous lies. Vince pushed for Rachel, Ashley, Mickey instead of himself, and swore he wouldn't veto Morgan. Keanu said there's only one way to guarantee that, and that's putting Vince up with her. Keanu said Ava would be his renom if needed because whoever she sits next to will go home, unless Vince remains on the block. Vince kept pleading, then started crying, cussing, and berating himself for his screwups. Keanu said he hasn't fully decided what he'll do (but it seemed pretty clear he has).

He came in with rumors that ranged from wildly exaggerated to false, and he did nothing to redeem himself. He threw a hinky vote to evict fellow brojock Zae at the first vote and he boasted he could win any comp, but he only won two. He had a hissy fit when his HOH was taken over by Mickey, and another when Rachel put him up as renom, but most of his frequent angry outbursts were released at Katherine, and then he was friendly to whoever he'd just cussed out. He told Katherine she's his girl and he's going to marry her, but he didn't ask her thoughts about that. He should be grateful AF for the omissions and positive edit they gave him. Good riddance.

5th evicted - Day 38
He won the first move-in comp but then invaded Julie's personal space and her toss to commercial on the premiere, and a week later he bawled when fellow brojock Zae got the boot. He played the same interwoven alliances game as Vince, including multiple alliances with Vince, but he got away with it longer, until he didn't. Morgan liked him but he liked Lauren, and Ashley thought he liked her but he didn't. He had the face, body, smile, charm of a champ but he self-hyped those qualities too much, making him unattractive. He had a secret veto that could have saved him but he didn't use it, so Julie whacked him with her cards.

Jimmy Heagerty - 25
Instagram
Has a boyfriend - fan applicant?
AI consultant Washington, DC (orig Sarasota, FL)
4th evicted - Day 31
He was the 2nd HOH but like Vince the prior week, he was over-allied and self-painted into a corner, so he put up his bestie Rachel's bestie Amy as renom pawn, and off she went. He worked hard at being sassy and campy, especially to and with Rachel, but she pulls it off without even trying and his comedy usually felt more performative than entertaining. But at least he put in an effort, which is more than most of them this year. His dress-up noms were almost as cringe as Todrick's, and that was magnified by his resentment when he hit the block a couple weeks later. He was a good sidekick for Rachel and liked by most of them.
|

Won: BBBB Week 2
HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 1/1/0 - HN 0
Adrian Rocha - 23 24
Instagram
Single - fan applicant
Carpenter San Antonio, TX
3rd evicted - Day 24
His pre-season stuff was wild, with his homemade wall comp and boisterous personality, but that guy didn't show up, maybe due to the syndrome of everyone being center-of-attention types and there just isn't enough limelight for everyone. His comp skills were good and he would have been a better choice for Rachel's protegé than Keanu but they had zero rapport, and Adrian's social game was absent with almost everyone. He had his moments with his emotional support bread and issues with doors, but he harped about honesty and loyalty too much so maybe this just wasn't the show for him. But he's a good guy and I wish him well.
|

Won: Day 1 accomplice
HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 1/1/0 - HN 1
Amy Bingham - 43
Instagram
Single, 3 kids - fan applicant, prior callback, casual feedster
Insurance agent Stockton, CA
2nd evicted - Day 17
She didn't do as much as some in the 'older woman' casting slot before her, but she got away with being the move-in Accomplice by doing a few tasks without being caught. She and Rachel bonded quickly and tightly as fellow moms, but their closeness made a target of Amy and she got the boot to weaken Rachel's game. She was generally liked in there, and she cried a lot but she handled slop well. She got out by the July 31 deadline to get her job of 20 years back, if she wants it.
|

Won: Nothing
HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 1/0/0 - HN 0
Isaiah "Zae" Frederich - 23
Instagram
Single - applied for TAR
Salesperson Provo, UT Phoenix, AZ (orig Paducah, KY)
1st evicted - Day 10
It's nice to get a brojock out early, especially first, and between constantly exhibiting his muscles and his smarts, he didn't do much to help prevent that. He didn't lay down to die when he hit the block so that's something, but he campaigned repetitively and relentlessly, holding voters hostage for hours at a time and talking 100 mph at them without pausing for breath. He landed himself on TMZ and tangled with Rachel, and that's about all he'll be remembered for.

THE REAL SHOW IS THE FEEDS
I'm no longer a feeds affiliate, but feeds remain the only way to get the full story

GAME TWISTS
Day 1: Rachel joined the cast and the game.
Day 1: Amy was a secret accomplice. She wasn't identified by a majority of players (or any of them) so remained in the game.
Day 1: Zach won BB Buy-off in Find Julie move-in comp. He got $10k, but if he's on the block at the end of veto meeting any week before jury, he can buy safety. HOH will get the $10k and have to name another nominee.
> Unused, he went home with the $10k
Day 1: Rachel had first week immunity and automatic Have-not. The other HNs (Ava, Will, Zach, selected by safety chain) also had immunity.
Weeks 1 thru ?: HOH picked three nominees, and veto renom if applicable. The three competed live in BB Block Buster before the vote, and the winner came off the block.
Day 10: Keanu won Mystery Competitor in HOH comp: an alum will play veto on his behalf if he's on the block, before jury.
> Used Day 12: Kaycee played for him, and won.
Day 10: Kelley won Mystery Veto in HOH comp: can play an individual challenge to win a second veto to save herself or someone else on the block, before jury.
> Used Day 14: won her challenge and took herself off the block.
Day 10: Mickey won HOH Interrogation in HOH comp: can anonymously dethrone reigning HOH, who can interrogate everyone and make an official guess who did it. If correct, they're back to HOH and if not, she reveals herself and becomes HOH, before jury.
> Used Day 24/25: took over Rylie's HOH.

BB27 finalist prizes are likely the same: $750k for the winner, $75k for 2nd place, and probably still $10k for 3rd, $7.5k for 4th, $5k for 5th. Stipend is probably still $1k per week for all except finalists, including pre-season sequester. Stuntcasts may get more.
The habitat has 112 HD cameras (up 18) and 113 microphones (no change).
The recorded in-house announcements are the voice of producer Don Wollman. He and Julie Chen are the only senior staffers who have been there since Big Brother 1.
