(We know it's a double but they don't, so that timing is off, but the sentiment's the same.) And she said she was going to do some major acting with Jared. Later she told Jared she wanted them to make an F3 with Cirie, and he said they could discuss it but he didn't speak for Cirie. She did sleep over, and this morning she said she wanted to "get some answers" before her formal pre-nom meeting. He asked if she's good, if they're good? She said yes, but she'd heard a lot of stuff yesterday. She then rehashed with Jag all the convos and alliances and stories, and they discussed ways to blame Izzy rather than America for various crimes. Blue reminded Jag she was in a tricky position but said she'll talk to Jared about all of it.Jared held his pre-nom meetings with each of them, telling nearly all of them his target was Cameron, and he'd put up America and Cory initially in hopes of sending Cameron out the backdoor. He told Felicia and Mecole that he was loyal to Brown Sugar Babes in each of their meetings, and that they should try to hold a meeting soon if possible. Cory opened his meeting by saying he expected to be going up with America and Cameron the target, and Jared pretty much confirmed. He told America similar, including that Cameron was his "sole and only target" and he retold some of yesterday's fight with Cory since she said she'd only heard Cory's side. Rehashes of the fight were also done with various others, including Jag and Cameron. Cameron said if he'd known they weren't at jury yet, he wouldn't have booted Izzy yet, and said he needed to make jury for financial reasons. He offered a deal that he wouldn't put up Jared or Blue next week if Jared doesn't put him up this week, covering both original noms and renom, and he told Jared he'd given America a similar deal in the Pressure Cooker comp that included Cory, and that he'd stuck to it. He also said something about "everyone in the fuckin comic room" which includes Cirie of course (oops), and he said he'd swear on anything except his daughter about the offer. (I figure if you're going to swear on things, specifying an exception doesn't really help convey sincerity.) And he promised his jury vote to Jared if he takes the deal. Jared's meeting with Blue was more about their personal stuff. She cried, and said she cried all yesterday after finding out how much he hadn't told her. He apologized and admitted he'd screwed up, and said it wouldn't happen again, and he said "you're my Izzy, bro." She said she'd been ready to cut him off, and she couldn't believe how much he'd iced her out because she knew the one thing nobody else did (about him and Cirie). Cirie's meeting was last and Jared reiterated his America/Cory/Cameron plan. They each had a coffee cup of champagne and toasted having gotten this far, and she reread his letter, which was a letter from home for her in a way too, and they laughed about the family jokes in it. Jared said he wasn't sure but he thought Blue might be on to them (heh), and he said he had a feeling that Izzy may have told Blue their secret. Cirie said she didn't believe Izzy would do that, that she and Blue weren't close, and if she'd told anyone it would have probably been Cory but she didn't think Izzy would have told him either. (Correct: Izzy told nobody. Jared told Blue himself and now that Blue had brought it up again, Jared didn't want to admit his spillage to his momma.) Matt and Blue joined Cirie and Jared in HOH and they agreed on moving ahead as a foursome, within the Seven-now-Six Deadly Sins. Naturally meetings and rehashes raged on elsewhere during all the meetings, including a lengthy Blue/Cory talk that included rehashes going back to Hisam. America and Cory both went to work after hearing the news, with America planning to pick Blue to play veto and Cory planning to pick Matt if they get the option to pick. Felicia and Mecole had a lengthy check-in/rehash in the pantry, and Felicia eventually asked if Mecole would like a final two with her because she'd been feeling sketchy about their fellow Babes. Mecole said "yes I would!" and they hugged on it. Jared nominated America and Cory, as planned. Feeds came back to couples cams. America and Cory had taken to their bed stealth whispering about "worst case scenario" and the like, along with some smacky kissing and humping ("3 AM-ing" per Cory). Cory said they were actually in the best position possible. I'm not sure how he meant that since they still have to get through the veto portion of the week, but I don't have the type of gamebot brain he does. Cameron came along and said "so this is what it's like to not see your picture on tv" since this was the first noms ceremony he hadn't been HOH or shown up on the screen as a nominee. Jared ran another lengthy rehash monologue to Blue. Formation of the For Real For Real alliance and whether it was real or fake, plus when Cory said his brother was on Survivor and to whom ended up being two of the main issues of the last 24 hours of chaos. Cory told Mecole that tidbit earlier today when Cameron made a joke that his sister had been on Survivor. Jag joined America and Cory and they relapsed into their self-deprecating and giggly Unreliables banter for awhile. Cory retold his Jared fight yet again, this time saying things like he'd stood up twice to make points, coming to eye level with Jared who was sitting down, and saying his Cory smoke wasn't effective - it was steam. Feeds finally moved off the 'mancers and joined the rest of them in the living room playing guessing games, categories, I Spy, naming favorite comps and general topics chat. The habitat was overall more relaxed than it's been in a very long time, maybe all season, and I for one welcomed that. This group has kept updaters and recappers on our toes for 45 days without a break. Matt and Cirie chatted in HOH and discussed America vs Cory if veto isn't used, Matt said he thought America was scarier to keep and Cirie said Cory would be out for revenge, and Matt lightly bashed both of them, as planned with Jag and Blue. With no piggies, no Cardboard Josh, and no Izzy, feeds remained low energy and non-eventful through the evening. There was no formal dinner so hamsters mingled in and around the kitchen, eating casually and playing word games. America told Jag that Cameron had asked her to pick him for veto if she gets the option, and she told Jag she didn't want to and hoped she doesn't pull the Houseguest Choice chip. The Seven-now-Six Sins tried to meet in HOH while Cameron was in Diary but Jared and Jag were late. The others watched everyone's whereabouts on the HOH screen and eventually Jared arrived, but Jag was deep in chit-chat with Cory and America in the bathroom. Jag is usually Mr Let's Hold A Meeting so it was ironic and funny that he didn't show up. Mecole went up at one point to socialize, and Felicia, Cirie, Matt hid in the bathroom. Felicia came out and Mecole chatted some, listened to music, and left, so the hiders came out of the bathroom but Jag was still chatting downstairs, clearly having missed the cue and oblivious. By then Cameron was out of Diary and went up to HOH, so Blue, Cirie, Matt went back to hide in the bathroom while he talked to Jared about the veto draw. Eventually he left, Cirie and Matt went to Have-not for a roundabout exit, and Jag finally showed up to HOH, where he ran his loopy loops to Blue and Matt. Blue suggested the three of them could get farther if they play things carefully between the power factions. Jared later told the three of them if Cameron isn't picked for veto he'd pick him to host, and they roared with laughter. Cameron asked America if she and Cory had orders not to pick him and she nodded. He said he thought so, and America said she was afraid if she did pick him to play, it would make her a target. Day 46 - Saturday - September 16, 2023Bowie, Cameron, Jag were picked to play for veto with Jared, America, Cory. Apparently Cory got Houseguest Choice and picked Jag, then America pulled Jag's chip and drew again, getting Cameron's. Matt will host, and said he was looking forward to another costume. Felicia told Bowie she had to gun for it so Cameron doesn't win, and she said America's face fell when she pulled his chip. Cory told America he'd rather Cameron win than Jared, and that Cameron had told him if he wins, he'll pull one of them off and vote in favor of the other, saying he wanted to move forward with them as a trio, and he told America the same. Cameron suggested to her that she throw the comp to him, adding "throw fucking caution to the wind and play some Big Brother."Blue told Cirie she needed to be careful because with Izzy gone, people were talking about Cirie and Jared being close. Cirie seemed surprised by that, and said she was locked in with Blue, Jared, Matt though she felt like a third wheel with Blue and Jared, and that she didn't really have anyone now without Izzy, but most everyone else was paired up. She also said Izzy had been the connection between her and Jared (which Blue knows isn't true). Cirie then told Jared if Cameron wins and takes down America, "put me up because everyone's associating you with me." She said that would clear him about that chatter and "it'd be the best thing for your game." He said he couldn't do that but she said he still had Blue, and "think about it," and "if I stay and we stay connected, they're gonna be looking at you funny." Cirie said she'd rather Jared have a better chance moving forward, he again said "can't do it," and she said "especially if I'm asking you to?" Matt starting looking like his lost buddy Cardboard Josh as he waited for the comp. Blue retold her and Jared's fight and makeup to America, and they hoped to target Bowie for renom, and they agreed they wanted to join up as a four with Jag and Cory. Blue said she'd tried to convince Jared that Jag trusted him in hopes that Jared wouldn't put up Jag as renom. Blue told her at one point "we both got loose lips apparently" (true) and later urged America not to tell Jared any of this because "that's gonna fuck me up." Blue then retold to Jag and they celebrated with huge smiles and jumping around, and hoped the four of them could meet up later. Amid the usual speculation about which comp it might be, Jared went on a stay and fold technique tour to pitch ways to work together in case it's that comp. Word on the streets is it will be OTEV and if so, that was a lot of wasted time by Jag when he could have been studying for whatever questions OTEV asks. Feeds went to adoptable anipals for the comp early again, around 11.30am, came back a little before 4pm, and Jag won his second veto. It wasn't OTEV but was called Sweaty Scrimmage, with a football theme and both puzzle plus physical elements, along with pattern sequences, transferring water (maybe "sweat") in small containers, and running and diving for goal posts. It sounded like there were a lot of falls but all agreed it was fun, the most fun one yet per Cameron and Jag. Cameron came in second, only 40 seconds behind Jag. Felicia later told Mecole when Cameron's name showed up in second place, it was the most cheers he's had yet. (Felicia also told her she suspected Cirie and Jared had an F2 and said she'll just ask him sometime, and that she thought her F2 with Cirie was fake.) Matt was pleased with his referee hosting outfit. The non-competitors didn't watch so there were lots of animated retells. Bowie needed help getting out of her jersey and shoulder pads. Blue and Jared did a pantry-style celebration dance in HOH. Jag told Jared "not many things are certain in this game, I'll tell you one thing that's certain, that veto gonna get used," adding Cameron was going home. Jared told him about Cameron offering Jared his jury vote if he didn't go on the block, which I don't think he'd have mentioned if he didn't intend to renom Cameron. Jag also had a deal with Cameron for "absolute safety" this week from last week, but now they all know this week's evictee won't be a juror so there's arguably less danger in breaking those deals. I expect a lot of pressure on both Jag and Jared from Cameron about their respective deal offers because that would be on brand for him, plus debate and probable flips about whether America or Cory will sit next to Cameron for the first eviction Thursday, plus a lot of debate about the vote, even though it's been long decided, because that's what this group does. Cameron was a good sport about losing and seemed resigned to his fate. It's only Saturday and I doubt he'll go meekly, but it was nice to see him not being his cocky, arrogant winning self or his gloomy, miserable losing self. Cory was annoyed at losing after actually trying to win for a change, but Jag told him and America "Cam is leaving this week, I want to be very clear." America and Cory agreed if they win next week they'd put up Cirie and Felicia with Jared as renom. Family dinner came back with salmon plus multiple sides, courtesy of Felicia and Mecole. Jared and Cirie had a couple check-ins while everyone else ate, including Cirie telling him about trying to reassure Blue earlier that Cirie wasn't ahead of her with Jared. And she said Blue had mentioned noticing Cirie and Jared used the same kind of toothpaste, and Cory had said something else that perked up her ears and paranoia. Cirie said she wanted to bring Bowie back in with her, and they agreed their hit list order was Cameron, America, Cory. Jared told Cirie he would never put her on the block as she'd offered earlier, saying he'd die before doing that. Felicia visited Jared in HOH and did ask point blank "who are you in a final two with?" as she'd told Mecole she would. Jared said "nobody right now, not even with Blue," followed by a lot of words words words, like he does. Cirie and Felicia did some studying, with Felicia saying at one point about Week 1 "and then I went home." Cirie said no she didn't and they busted up. Bowie joined, like she does, and Cirie did a lot of chatting with her about alliances and general topics, as she said she would. Jared, Jag, Matt plus Blue retold and relived the comp in HOH, then went into a lengthy discussion about dangerous and deadly animals around the world, and then they doubled up laughing about the upcoming week and Cameron's eviction, among other things. The yard finally opened around 10.30pm after a full week, and the charge for the laundry machines came to a halt when they discovered there was no laundry detergent. They had mountains of towels plus everyone's clothes. Cory actually ran out of clothes and had been wearing some of America's. Fortunately some detergent was found in the pantry so another crisis was averted. Jag, Matt, Blue went to work making pizzas on tortillas and pita bread. Matt was still wearing his referee outfit. Cory and America claimed the hammock and talked about people they knew at home, and game game game. SUBSCRIBE to my Patreon to get these daily recaps in your email box! And/or to watch prior BB USA, Canada, Australia seasons, plus a ton of other shows and movies as well. Day 47 - Sunday - September 17, 2023Cameron was back to his desperate persona, which manifests itself as gloomy and grouchy (in appearance anyway). He campaigned at Matt in his condescending way, saying he didn't understand "why this isn't a slam shut case" to break up the couple. Apparently Jag told Cory and America to decide between them who gets his veto? I didn't hear that, but he implied to Matt he'll be using it on Cory. Matt and Cirie had a lengthy hammock convo that included his deafness and swimming, as well as telling her Cory was the fourth player in the power comp, and America had shared a lot of info with Cameron, and America and Cory planned to put up Cirie and Felicia with Jared as target, and America and Cory were trying to form something with him and Jag.Felicia and Mecole figured out that Cirie wanted Felicia to go last week rather than Izzy and had tried to make that happen, resulting in the Have-not room fight, and Felicia again said Cirie's a mastermind who twists things in retells. Blue did some more cozying up/general chat with Cirie. They were joined by several others for some general life chat, including Jag and Mecole, who were still maintaining their job lies/fibs along with Blue. Cameron made pitches to/at Matt, Blue, America, Cirie, mostly consisting of he has to make jury for the extra cash, he has nobody, and let's form a majority alliance to take out everyone else. Cory pre-campaigned to Felicia, who said said she'd been hurt by learning about Cirie and Jared. And Cory pitched to Jag, who said if Cory and America can't/won't/don't decide which of them should come off, he's probably use his veto on Cory "because it's Houseguest Choice," meaning Cory picked Jag to play veto when he got that option. Felicia did a tell-all of some kind to America, Cory, Mecole in the backyard but I missed most of that because Cameron called a meeting in HOH to pitch to Blue, Jag, Jared, Matt. He ran his loops and stated his desperation to stay this week and next to get the jury pay, and he offered himself up to them. He said "hire me, I will be the fucking party clown, I will do whatever you want" and said he was on his knees. Cirie dropped in, silence ensued, and she asked if she should come back later? Cameron said yes, could they have a second, and Cirie left saying she can "read the room," and she reported to Felicia meeting in the backyard. Cameron went on, saying he's "a hired gun" and Jared said "mercenary." The pitch was concluded, and Blue, Jag, Matt met in Have-not to agree Cameron did not get the job and Jag will still use his veto. Blue brought up Cameron tipping his head or making eye contact when he mentioned he always keeps his deals, and they wondered if he'd made one with Jared. Jag did not mention his with Cameron from last week. Cirie and Jared had a check-in, which included him telling her Felicia talked with him yesterday. He said she asked why he didn't use his veto on her last week and he retold that, but he did not tell Cirie that Felicia asked who he had F2s with (which was Felicia's whole reason for talking to him). Cirie said she had to win HOH because she thought Cory and America were coming for Jared. Jared said he knew that but he wasn't worried about them. Cirie said she didn't think Jag and Matt would try to win HOH this week but told Jared to be careful, that Cory may act like he was alone but he and America may have set up an alliance when the Izzy vote flip happened. Jared said he didn't give Cory that much credit (oops.) Jag retold Cameron's "I'm for hire now, I'm a hired gunslinger" pitch to Cory, and said it was the "craziest pitch he ever heard." Jag and Blue had a check-in, happy that Felicia said she can't trust Cirie and Jared. Blue said Cirie told America that For Real For Real was indeed real and she still wanted to work with her. Jag said "they are fucking quivering" and Blue said she hoped America wins HOH and puts up Jared and Cirie because Cirie was too good at covering her bases. They got a booze delivery minutes before the late-airing episode started. Typically questionable timing, but that's how they roll. It was the first pantry delivery of the season, at least that's been on feeds. As the show ran the pre-eviction Have-not room fight between wall comp segments, feeds got louder and laughier. Cory took a swig of red wine and shuddered, and America chugged some red wine as a beer chaser. She proceeded to get a little sloshy as expected, and later was flirty and suggestive about her and Cory's extracurricular escapades to a kitchen group. She said Cory wasn't a great kisser at first and did "woodpecker kisses" (with demo), and she said "I'll suck his toes" and "the hat, the blanket, the toes, the mustache, the tan, it's for me." Mecole said "I rebuke all of this" and Jag said "get America more wine!" Cory said they've never done anything outside of the scary room and everyone groaned loudly because they all knew otherwise. Felicia and a backyard group talked and laughed loudly about peeing and pooping the bed. America, Cory, Jag, Matt, Mecole chatted movies and tv series for awhile as various others drifted off to bed. Jag will likely use his veto on Cory tomorrow, and Jared will likely put Cameron up in his place. SUBSCRIBE to my Patreon to get these daily recaps in your email box!
