Cameron Piggie mentioned the song Watermelon Sugar, Cory said "you should have seen my reaction when I found out what that song was about," Cameron Piggie said "I'd like to see it right now," and Cory said "what?!" As did I. Cory then talked with Izzy Piggie, telling her about Cameron Piggie grilling him last night about his relationship with America, and Cory told her he'd become leery of Cirie and Jared after his game convo with America last night. (I don't think he mentioned to Izzy Piggie that he learned Matt told America he had the Invincibility power and that Cirie had also competed for it, but I think those were the launch points as far as reassessing his position.) Izzy Piggie told him she thought America, Blue, Jag were working together again (but didn't tell him Blue told her America wanted them to be F3), and that info surprised Cory.Cory continued to spiral and met with Jared, who didn't outright tell him if he was using his veto or not. Jared did tell him that America spills a lot of his info, which was making Cory a liability in some eyes. Jared did tell Cirie and Felicia he wasn't using veto, but that Cameron Piggie wanted him to, (allegedly) to target Izzy. I think they got their laundry sent in from outside, and Cirie told her bathrobe "I can't wait to get you back on, ol' gray girl," with her helmet sitting on her bun at an extremely jaunty angle. Jag asked Matt (and Cardboard Josh) whether he trusted Cirie fully or not, and if he should trust America or Cirie more, and he went back to his 10-0 vote for evidence exhibits. Matt played along but didn't give anything away about his loyalty to Cirie. Both agreed they were unsure about Jared. Jag pointed out what everyone else knew weeks ago, that if they sided with Cirie/Izzy/Felicia they'd be at the bottom of that hierarchy. Cirie told Felicia they still had Brown Sugar Babes that nobody knew about, which would help them with votes. Jared did not use his veto, so Felicia and Izzy remained on the block, and the end of a comical era loomed over us. Cameron Piggie told Jared that was the next step of his (revised) plan, with the final step being Izzy getting evicted. And he asked Jared if he wanted to have "some more fun" this week, to involve Cameron Piggie acting like he was angry with Jared for not using it, because he'd wanted to renom Blue. That in turn would allow some separation for Jared and Cameron Piggie so people wouldn't think they're too close. Cameron Piggie asked if they should let Blue in on the plan and Jared said he'd feel things out, and Cameron Piggie said they'd need to be sure to let her know before Thursday in case she wins HOH. Jared then told Blue and Matt about it, calling it "the dumbest shit ever." Blue and Matt told Jared that Jag had become suspicious of him (Jared), and Jared replied "who the fuck is Jag to be sussed out by anyone?" Cirie and Felicia teased America, asking when's the wedding? She said Cory had said they weren't a showmance because they hadn't kissed, but now they were. Izzy Piggie met with Matt and Cardboard Josh, and they gave Josh a headband and necklace to make him a little more Matt-like. Izzy Piggie later said her peripheral vision was blocked by her piggie ear flaps. Cory told America "don't tell Blue, but.." He said Blue had told Izzy that America said she was nervous about Izzy, and he added they cannot trust Blue. America said "fuck!" and Cory said things hadn't made sense because everyone tells everything (we know!), and also that he'd been told America had been sharing his info with everyone. He asked if she'd mentioned his Survivor ties to anyone and she said no, and she said she hopes she doesn't drag Cory down with her. The Stink-o-Meter announcements popped up again today, and Felicia scored a 10 at one point so all their gas masks went on mid convos. Cameron Piggie went on a huge multi-mixed-metaphor rant to America that included a lot of both anti-Felicia and anti-Izzy comments, but emphasizing Izzy had to go. He got heated multiple times and America kept telling him to settle down, that she agreed with whatever he was saying at the time. He finally said "let's fucking ride, I'm sick and tired of watching this boring ass game roll us by, fuck it, we make the waves, we drop the grenades, you better be fuckin convinced this is the train you better get on," adding that everyone else was on it and she'd be left behind if she wasn't. Cameron Piggie then met with Bowie for more anti-Izzy "I just want to wake everyone up" rhetoric, and Bowie agreed. Matt and Cardboard Josh joined Cameron Piggie and Bowie for more of the same. Then it was Cory's turn with Cameron Piggie. He tried to participate but it was hard for anyone to get a word in with Cameron Piggie's grenade-filled runaway rant train. Jared got a 10 on the Stink-o-Meter so everyone had to mask up again. Cirie and Felicia kept seeing all the HOH meetings of course, plus various people hanging out in the skybridge/game zone, so they decided to go upriver. Izzy Piggie acted as river guide, helping to carry the stern and assisting with corner pivots. They made it upstairs without incident and went into HOH, where Cameron Piggie had been hanging out alone. He was suitably surprised, and he was welcoming to them despite trash-train-talking them both all morning (all week) (all season). The talk was small, chit-chat with periodic silences, and soon Cameron Piggie left, inviting them to stay as long as they liked. They did stay a bit longer, then maneuvered the downriver trek without assistance, and made it back downstairs successfully. Jared pointed out to Matt and Izzy Piggie how Cameron Piggie uses a different tone depending who he talks to, and how that was a key indicator for who he felt closer to. Cardboard Josh almost hit the deck during that convo but Matt saved him, and told him this wasn't the time to be twerking. Cirie and Felicia were told their kayak task was complete around 6.30pm. They cheered and screamed, as did everyone else, and they gave each other a huge bear hug for having gotten through it. Cardboard Josh got some of their castoff gear. Cirie and Izzy Piggie went to Have-not almost immediately for a check-in and info download. Cirie wasn't surprised but wasn't pleased hearing Cameron's big plan, and capsulized it by saying "his whole thing was to slap the three bitches." Izzy Piggie said she liked seeing all the pent up rage exploding out of Cirie, and Cirie said she can't wait to see Cameron's face when Felicia goes out. Felicia sat down with Bowie to apologize for the blindside vote and rehash various things since (ie campaign). Cirie then met with Jared and Matt, and said she didn't trust Jag to vote with them, and said they each need to talk to Cory. She said Cory had told Felicia he was going to vote with the person he felt closest to, and she said that would be Izzy. Cirie met with Matt and Jared to gather more info, learn the new problems and roadblocks, and to discuss possible/probable votes and scenarios. Most of them settled into general topics group chats, and we braced for more intensive gametalks about the vote in the hours and days to come. Izzy Piggie had a check-in with us and Paige, saying she thought she had six votes: Cirie, Jared, Cory, America, Blue, Matt. She said she only needed five, and didn't care what Mecole or Bowie will do (both will likely vote to keep Felicia), and she said she'd like to be in good standing with Jag but didn't need his vote. I'm not so sure she'll have Cory and America after the latest rounds from last night/this morning, but it's days til they vote and a lot of these hamsters seem to have short memories, not to mention they tend to extremely fickle and waffly. It's going to be another long few days, but we'll slog our way through it. Slop and/or starvation seemed to be getting to some of them, particularly Cory and Jared, but Felicia got back into the kitchen and worked up some slopcakes that looked and cooked like pancakes, and tasted good. Jared told Izzy Piggie she'll have his vote along with Cirie, Blue, Matt and she'd only need Cory, adding "if Cory don't vote for you, that's the wildest shit ever." Cory told Izzy Piggie he thought she'd have America's vote because of him, adding he didn't trust her down the road. Jared told Cory and Izzy Piggie about Cameron's big Plan to separate from Jared and both of them acting angry because Cameron supposedly wanted to backdoor Blue. Jared began to pitch to Cirie, with Matt present, the idea of booting Izzy rather than Felicia, but feeds switched to Felicia meeting with Cameron Piggie, who ranted his anti-Izzy routine and said he hoped and expected Felicia would stay. America met with Bowie (in a rare double-mirror convo) to bash the Cirie/Izzy group and their history, and agreed it was better to evict Izzy this week. Well, America did most of the talking, Bowie mostly agreed and said "yeah, yeah." Felicia pitched to Jag and Cory, saying she'd love to stay and continue to cook, clean, and laugh, and all agreed they had a few days and they'd do one on ones later. Izzy told Bowie she'd heard things that suggested they had beef between them? Bowie said "naur," and again brought up conversations stopping when she approaches. They went round and round about various issues, with Izzy Piggie being more antagonistic than she should have been, and it probably did her no favors. Finally the main event, Cirie met with Cameron Piggie, asking how can she fix the trust they lost. Cameron Piggie said when he told her he loved her he meant it, he was only upset about not being told about evicting Red. He said "I want [Izzy] out hard, I know she's your girl, and I know Red was your guy" and said he didn't see a path for them to work together if Izzy was still there. Cirie said she appreciated his honesty and bluntness, and it made her feel respected by him. She said "I'm not an idiot either, I get what you're saying" and that she needed some time to think about it. America pushed her anti-Izzy agenda to Cory, who argued back some, and said he'd heard Cameron wanted to work with America but Cory was in the way. America argued that and said Cameron wanted to work with both of them. Cory said "he wants to work with you" and said Cameron had been trying to pin a bunch of random crimes on Cory. America later met with Jag and rattled off a lot of info that made his head spin, including that she thought Jared would put the two of them on the block if he won HOH. And she said Blue told her she was voting to keep Izzy, and they had to play along with Blue but be careful what they say to her because she'll repeat everything to Jared. America told Cameron Piggie that he was the target last week, not Red. Cameron Piggie didn't believe her but she insisted it's true. He said "things change" re him and Jared. He asked if "they had their hooks in Jared, or was Jared after me?" She said Jared was after him. He still wasn't convinced. Cory and Cirie met in the pantry and he said he'd vote with her to keep Izzy, along with Jared, and said he thought Matt and Blue would too. They heard voices passing by outside and both hid, reminding us that none of it's that serious. SUBSCRIBE to my Patreon to get these daily recaps in your email box!
