Last night was ridiculous feeds and fun commentary out here, but this morning the feeds were problematic and the BB Twitter streets were aflame. So it goes. America, Felicia, Matt were drawn to play veto, and Jared picked Blue to host. Apparently Jared called America the r-word. I'm unclear if he said it at the draw or later, openly to her or privately about her, or what. Jared and Cory had a heated discussion about her, with Jared expecting America to throw the comp when it was crucial for his game that she doesn't, and Cory arguing that Jared was wrong but he could see his point. Cory said if he tells America not to throw the comp, she'd hear that as her alliance doesn't trust her and he added "we have to fuckin maintain our group." Both agreed they were still good with each other, and Jared said "I don't think she's the r-word, I slipped up, I was angry." I'm wondering if Cory and America's agreement to diss each other to people yesterday may have gone too far and backfired. At any rate, Jared was fed up with both Cameron and America today. Cory did tell America that Jared was worried she'd throw it and he told her not to.If America was bothered by all that, she didn't let on as she discussed Cory with Blue. She said last night was the first time he snuggled with her in her bed, and he'd had to jump out fast when Cameron came along. She said Cory always came back to gametalk when sometimes she just wanted to talk general and silly stuff, and she said Rachel & Brendon and Jeff & Jordan didn't debate whether they should showmance or not, they just dove in. And she said she wanted to confront Cameron after the veto comp. Jared pushed his anti-America agenda to Cirie, saying she would target Cirie and Izzy next, but Cirie told him to chill and calm down, and see what happens with the veto. She said she knew he wanted America out, but they might get the opportunity to get Jag out, again, adding "I just wanted to leave you with that." Izzy and Jared agreed America was "the new chaos agent" and had to go. Izzy said she was exhausted from being expected to feel bad for Red. Cory asked Izzy about the America/Cameron situation. Izzy didn't really address that directly but said "she just loves gossip." Cory said he was afraid America spills things like their Seven Deadly Sins alliance to others. Matt wanted Cirie to do cornrows for the comp, and Red and Bowie also got in line for those. Red later put some braids in his beard to match. Cameron ended up getting a dog show poodle poof arrangement. Jared ranted to Cirie and Izzy that Felicia and America hadn't asked him what to do if they won veto, only Matt had, and he said he was "tired of playing games with these stupid people and entertaining their stupid ass ideas." He said he hoped he wins because he'd tell America to GTFO his room when she goes up to talk about it. Feeds were down from around noon to 1.30pm for the veto comp, which Cameron won. It was the tiny veto where they had to stack tiny things with tweezers. Bowie made a comment about something host Blue had said, and Blue said "they told me to say that." Felicia tried to tell Cameron to use it on Red since he's always talking about his sad birthdays and they could change that for him by getting Jared to put up Jag against Cameron, and Jag would go. Again. (BTW the sad birthday thing is just a cover story - nobody with any influence is weighing that into anything.) Cameron wasn't receptive to that, and said anyone who sits next to Red would go home. He said Jared was open to America as renom and she would go 7-3 against him. Jag and America told Matt that Cameron wanted America to go up in his place, and Matt said "wow I thought he liked you." Felicia retold to America, Cirie, Mecole, Jag that she'd suggested to Cameron he use his tiny veto on Red because of his sad birthday stories, but Cameron said no. Cirie laughed and asked "you said his birthday?" Felicia said "he don't give a fuck about his birthday," and Jag said "y'all thought this would work? Who cooked this up?" Everyone laughed. Then Felicia told America and Jag the renom would be one of them, pretty much outing Legend 25 alliance. Mecole later kind of scolded Felicia for that, with Izzy present. Felicia said she didn't care "because eventually she'll be going gone too." Later America and Jag did indeed put those alliance pieces together. Jared told Blue and Izzy "based off my doctor's appointment [DR].. I'm like why y'all talking about that? America, America, America, dafuq? That's what solidified it for me," meaning his inclination to target her. Jared told Blue he was done with Jag and couldn't stand to look at America now, and didn't know what he'll do for renom. America went off on Cory about all of it: her precarious position, Red's birthday, Felicia's alliance spill. Cory said he'd just told Izzy his big secret of being a Survivor's brother, and said he planned to tell Cirie and Jared too. America was flabbergasted and asked him why, and why now? She said tip-toeing around the bigger situation wasn't working, it was absurd she had to keep biting her tongue when they aren't playing for her but she had been playing for them. America finally sat down with Jared to rehash everything and given each of their earlier threats to go off on the other, they were both cordial. Maybe it was Blue's presence between them, like a silent arbitrator. Jared eventually asked Blue to leave, and Jared and America continued rehashing. When they eventually broke, America retold to Jag and Blue, and kind of cry-laughed to say "I thought it'd be an easy week, womp womp.. I sound like Ameerah last season." Jared retold to Cirie, who said maybe Bowie would be the best/easiest renom option at this point. American and Cory took to their doggie bed for her retell. Izzy met with Jared, and Cory joined. Jared apologized for going off on him earlier. America joined and Jared told her she won't be going up, and they went through the roster of options. Jared said Matt had volunteered last night to go up as pawn if needed (but that offer was if he'd be up against Cameron). Jared had shut that down at the time, but these four agreed that might be the best bet to keep as many people as possible placated. And they agreed they needed to meet more as a group (pick a group) rather than having so many side convos, retells, misunderstandings, and chaos. Jared, Blue, Matt met to discuss renom options, and Jared kind of hinted that it would be nice if someone would volunteer. Matt didn't, so that convo went roundabout a few times and finally wound up back to America as an option. Blue suggested if that happens, that she be present when Jared tells her. Mecole retold America's complaints to Cirie, who took America aside in the backyard as everyone else sat down to dinner. She explained that she hasn't pitched America as renom, "Felicia's crazy," and they needed to stick together. America then retold her story to Felicia and Mecole as Izzy and Cory chatted across the yard, surely keeping an eye on the ladies. Cory told Jared his brother secret and talked about Survivor and BB never having done a crossover, except for the season when Russell Hantz' cousin Willie got ejected*. Jared played ignorant and said oh maybe that was the Survivor season he saw, "was Cirie on it?" Cory then pushed Bowie for renom. Elsewhere, Izzy told Cirie that Matt had offered to pawn himself, and Cirie said "that's perfect." *Between this convo snippet and Cory's seemingly random confessions to Izzy and Jared about being a Survivor brother today, I'm again wondering if he's clocked Jared/Cirie. Also, his history wasn't entirely accurate: Willie was Russell's brother, BB12 Hayden and BB16 Caleb were on Survivor, and four Survivors visited BB2 to spend the night and participate in a luxury comp. See Links of the Day below. Comedy finally returned, two-fold and simultaneously. Cameron told Red at the hot tub he didn't know what was going on with them, and Red said "you should, you should" and said they probably had to put their bromance on ice. Cameron said "I don't remember that part of the contract of the handshake" and Red said "yeah, tell me about it.. you told a lot of people a lot of things." Cameron continued to play innocent, Red said he was just digging himself a deeper hole, and Cameron said "I wish I knew what the hell's going on but I'll give you space." Red said "appreciate you" and Cameron walked away towards the house. You could almost hear the tinkly piano. Meanwhile Seven Deadly Sins tried to hold a meeting in HOH. Eventually they all gathered, Cirie said the path of least resistance would be Bowie as renom, and most agreed. Nobody responded to Jared asking for volunteers. Matt said Bowie was more predictable than America, Blue put forward reasons not to put up America, and Izzy said Red would be more relaxed if it's Bowie, that he'll know he's a goner and can look forward to reuniting with his family. They saw Cameron come inside and upstairs so most hid in the bathroom. Cameron didn't ding-dong the HOH doorbell, so Matt went out to pull him into Have-not as everyone else made their escape. Cameron worried about Red to Matt, then did some BBsplaining, and hyping up Legend 25, and he said he and Jared had something big cooked up. (Cameron later repeated his hard sell pitch to Jared to put up Izzy.) A group of them had a nice group chat about life positivity, self-image, legacies they'd like to leave, and the like. Elsewhere, Cory and Jag discussed and explained the misogynistic crap that had been aimed at America, fueled by Cameron of course, but also how others had bought into it, also due to Cameron. Cameron repeated his hard-sell pitch to Jared to put Izzy up and out, nearly word for word the same as last night. (It's Cameron, so make that many words for many words.) Jared acted like he was playing along and considering it, like he did last night, including Cameron's plan to target Cirie and Felicia next. I don't think Jared told anyone about it last night but he immediately retold to Felicia tonight, saying Cameron was "going berserk right now." Felicia immediately retold to Izzy(!), Cirie, Bowie, Red in the comics room, and everyone got all wound up again. Izzy said "so I'm not allowed to say anything to Cameron yet, right? No, okay," but shortly after she left to "go to work" which apparently meant socializing with others around the house. Felicia and the comics group decided Jag should go up and out as he was the next snake below Cameron, and they'd get Cameron out next week for sure. Red told them about his breakup with Cameron, how they'd had a F2 "based on friendship" and various other petty crimes, and he said he'd never called America a bitch as had made the rounds, but he added "she uses her pretty" to get what she wants. Cirie stayed relatively quiet, soaking it all up, and Bowie agreed and went along with everything, adding to Cirie "you just did his hair today!" These hamsters are utterly exhausting.
