Daily Feeds Recaps

Day 48 - Sunday - August 23, 2026

Last night, Barrett and Drew agreed to stick with FAP and to take a shot at the vets if/when the opportunity arises. Morning brought new problems, since LaLa had asked Dee to save her special HOH bacon for Thursday so Have-nots could enjoy it too, and Dee agreed, but Melody had a problem with that because bacon is for Sundays? Something like that. Retells of that ensued, as Dee had a check-in with Yash to tell him to act scared he'll be the renom tomorrow. He agreed but then spent the day without a visible care in the world. LaLa gave herself affirmations and winning the season manifestations. She and Taylor rehashed last night's mess, agreeing they're too real for all these fake people, and they don't code switch. LaLa counseled Taylor "do what you do best: teach, lead, guide, and don't let them win or steal your joy." And she pointed out Angela is "emotional on purpose, she's a loose cannon on purpose." Spot on. Mallory made a "bacon pickle" slopcoction that LaLa loved but Taylor wasn't sure.

Angela and Taylor had a small rehash round about last night, and Angela retold that to Haley, saying "what I did, it feels like mean girl stuff." Haley replied "well LaLa's back to being mean to me again, so whatever." Taylor approached Angela and Haley later at the pool to say she'd like to talk with each of them one-on-one, whenever's a good time for each of them. Of course they wanted to do it right then, two-on-one. Rehashes, clarifications, justifications followed, with specific examples from Taylor again. Taylor told Haley she felt she'd inserted herself into her convo with Angela last night, and eventually Haley acknowledged that and apologized. Angela left, and Taylor used her professional child counselor skills to calmly and carefully try to tell Haley there was a further issue with her general behavior, Taylor's feelings had been hurt, and she felt it would be beneficial for Haley to listen.

Haley said she's the first to apologize if she hurts someone's feelings(!) but she's had a really rough two weeks(!). Taylor eventually said Haley's body language and tone of voice made it clear she was already defensive, and it's a sensitive and heavy subject she still wants to discuss, when Haley's ready. Haley kept shutting her down, and Taylor finally said "just know if I talk about it in DR and it becomes a thing, I tried to talk to you about it first." She was obviously talking about the ongoing microaggressions, and viewer reactions to them. Of course Haley didn't like that at all and said it sounded like a threat. Taylor said it can come out in DR or it can come out in the real world. Haley still didn't want to discuss it.

Taylor apologized to Drew for accusing him of going through her things, and then she climbed into her day pod and said to herself/us "now we can go home." Like clockwork, Angela cried to Dee in HOH and retold her latest dramas (despite swearing all night she doesn't gossip or retell conversations). Dee and Devens met to agree Mallory is still the renom plan, and they figured Mallory or Taylor would go home if they're against Drew, but I think if it's Drew versus Mallory, that could make Barrett the swing vote? Ouch. Drew and Dee died laughing about how enthusiastic Drew had been about Dee winning HOH only to have her nominate him, and how happy he'd been to get the Time Capsule only to win a Have-not pass. Then they got serious and Dee told him about her Bribe to Yash (omitting the safety for Angela and Devens part), and that she'll be putting up Mallory as renom but Barrett, Angela, Devens don't know that yet. (Angela and Devens do.)

A bit later Dee told the same thing to Barrett. He said he wouldn't like to see Mallory go up, and he didn't push back much, but they did discuss the scenarios at length. Barrett then met with Drew, and both said they're mad about the situation. Haley went to HOH to discuss something with Angela and Dee. Many of us figured that would be about Taylor's sensitive subject and implied threat, but feedmasters blocked that from us. Cowards.

Unlocked and the Sunday show ran, the former including a great behind-the-scenes segment about the OTEV build, and the episode included Barrett and Melody admitting they threw the HOH comp. (We already knew from feeds that Barrett and Mallory threw it.) On feeds during that two hours, Dee told Mallory she "might" be going up as renom. After the episode credits rolled, Mallory was hard-sobbing about it. Angela pretended she didn't know what was wrong and gave her supportive hugs before heading to HOH to ease her guilt and ask Dee what to tell Mallory. Dee didn't give her a script, and Barrett moved back into position as Mallory's emotional support hamster and hospice cat to say it doesn't make sense to him, and he understands she doesn't want to go home. Melody went to the gym and did a few rounds cycling between saying "I'm so fucking mad!" and screaming and breaking down in sobs. Mallory and Melody got back together, declared war, and made various plans they might follow through with? Place your bets.

Apparently Mallory slammed one of the Diary doors so hard at one point, one of the decor clocks fell off the wall and broke into pieces. Let the record show neither LaLa nor Taylor have done anything like that, but they're the ones most of their roomies keep saying act like that. If you can't see this is a problem, you are part of the problem.

Barrett and Drew met with Devens who acted shocked, innocent, and concerned about all of it. Dee finally descended the stairs and put in a little hammock time, with Angela sticking to her like pre-renom glue. Dee and Devens regrouped in HOH to exchange info and retells, and Dee seemed genuinely surprised to learn Drew and Barrett were angry with her. Devens left, Barrett joined Dee, who reminded him she'd given him a green light to talk shit about her, and she asked if he had? He said he didn't want to, but finally confessed he had, a little. He got a bit sniffly as they rehashed, Dee shmoozed and held his wrist, and before long they were talking like they have been all along.

Day 47 - Saturday - August 22, 2026

Angela and Barrett were picked to play for veto. Taylor visited HOH to ask again why Dee put her up, and Dee repeated she'd heard Taylor said her name and/or "icons" as her target. Angela then picked up with Taylor for a few rehash rounds, Dee feigned sleep, and Haley got into Dee's bed with her music (suddenly crying at one song). When Taylor left, Angela mentioned their forgotten Honor Society alliance and that Taylor only mentions it when needed. LaLa asked Dee if she'd mind if she asked Angela to use veto on her if she wins it, Dee said of course not, and LaLa asked Angela who said of course she would do that. Last night Taylor hid Drew's hairbrush so there was a hunt for that today by some, off and on, particularly Haley, including going through people's beds and drawers. That hunt escalated, involving more people, and fluctuated between fun prank and more microaggressions hell. It should be noted Taylor checked the rule book and read aloud from it before taking the brush. It specifies they can't damage or destroy BB's or another HG's property, but doesn't say they can't move or hide it.

Yash told Melody and Taylor that people are trying to turn them all against each other, which is absolutely true: Dee has often used those exact words before setting it off. Angela again encouraged LaLa to admit she said she'd go after the "icons" rather than just Devens. (I think she's said it both ways, in different contexts.) Devens gave us an update that included Taylor stays in her bed and doesn't actively participate; LaLa's alienated everyone and is either nasty or overly nice, and she cookblocks the kitchen; Drew redeemed himself somewhat and regained some trust with his noms explosion; Mallory and Melody can't be apart more than a few minutes; he hopes noms stay the same but Mallory should go up and out if renom is needed; and he's loyal to Dee to the end but feels he can beat her at finals because he needs the money more. (Cookblock is my word, not his.) Angela joined him and complained about being grouped and targeted as "icons" but both referred to themselves as that in the same breath, go figure. They then met with Dee to agree Mallory would be a good renom, and to bash LaLa and Taylor some more.

Feeds were down two hours and change for the veto comp, which LaLa won. They were in '80s workout gear: brightly colored strappy leotards and tights, crop tops, wrist and forehead sweat bands. So a fitness theme, and it had a tongue round, so it sounded like the awful BB14 coach's comp. That one had Booty Scooty, Hip to Hip, and Tongue Trainer rounds. They did a similar one in BB23 as well but without tongues. Drew pushed Dee for a Yash renom, and Angela and Devens talked Block Buster/vote scenarios if Mallory goes on the block. Haley has sorted her bad, terrible BB experience loops into an itemized weekly list which she ran for Dee, who then told us "that girl, I feel so bad for her, she's had a rough summer." You might say Haley ran her loops enough until they became "fact" but I think it's more a matter of Dee shmoozing us like she does them, making it clear she doesn't want Haley to go anywhere for awhile. She also told us she'll give Drew excuses for not putting up Yash or Haley as renom, and she'll tell Barrett about her deal with Yash but not that it also includes safety for Angela and Devens.

Mallory experimented with slopcoctions and mug cakes, and she offered to make a cake with Angela's second birthday cake mix for Melody's half-birthday (I know), but LaLa had already reserved it for cupcakes for the end of the Have-not week. That sent Melody down a new ranty path, and she and Drew hid Taylor's and LaLa's blankets in retaliation for the cancelled half-birthday cake and/or his kidnapped hairbrush. As of now, Mallory will be the renom on Monday, and Dee announced that to several of her minions. I said in Friday's recap I thought Mallory might be Dee's real target this week, and here we are. Again.

I was about ready to call it a day when things popped off again, thanks to Angela again. She confronted Taylor again about bringing up Honor Society this morning and how she can't just do that when it's convenient for Taylor. Taylor reacted quickly and strongly, presenting her side of things, and providing examples to counter every accusation Angela brought up. Angela kept going and Taylor kept countering, their voices rose, Angela said Taylor's examples were only about people who were on the block and Taylor choked up, saying "I keep ending up on the fucking block and every time I try to do something, someone spits in my face!" She went on: "I can't say anything, I can't do anything, I can't even be in my fucking pod without people saying I'm doing shit. I'm frustrated, ready to go home, obviously I don't have your vote to stay anyway." Angela said "I'm not voting you out" and "maybe it wasn't right for me to repeat that upstairs, I'm sorry."

Reminder 1: Angela started this, then ended up apologizing all over town, saying she's not that girl who goes around to rooms stirring things up (she absolutely is), and then starting it up all over again. And again.
Reminder 2: Dee and Angela formed Honor Society for their own convenience, then promptly forgot about it, but it's Taylor's fault, and LaLa's, for thinking the alliance exists? That's messed up even for this messed up show.

Drew and Devens eavesdropped on some of it, told Haley, then ran upstairs to alert Dee. Haley joined Angela and Taylor to deny whichever conversation Taylor accused her of being involved in, even though Taylor had times, dates, rooms, receipts. Haley got heated, Taylor calmly said Haley had joined a conversation in progress, emotions were high, and they went back and forth about a prior olive branch offering. LaLa joined, Taylor said "this is so dumb," Angela said "give everybody a minute" like it wasn't her mess, and Drew went back to HOH to tell Dee and Devens "they're fighting." Reruns ensued and retells began. LaLa went to HOH and asked Haley and Drew to leave for a minute so she could talk with Dee and Angela alone. Obviously that didn't go over well with Haley. She held court at poolside to give her version of how she's been bullied and victimized yet again, with Drew and Devens chipping in occasional anti-Taylor and anti-LaLa tidbits. Taylor went to HOH and dropped a lot of info on Dee and Angela, and said "I'm blowing this bitch up with me in it, what else do you want to know?"

I don't expect much of that to be on Wednesday's episode, and what they do air will probably be sympathetic to Angela and the "icons" again, and their groupthink bashing and microaggressions towards Taylor and LaLa will be ignored again. Both of them have already been pretty much omitted from the episodes at all.

Ratings - Fuck Ass People edition

Ratings should be based on entertainment value but this isn't very entertaining

Noms count: original/renom/twist

Downs are here to stay unless/until they remove the ban on BBViewer. That's probably corporate's doing and not a BB decision, but we still lose no matter what the cause. Especially since a lot of staffers use BBViewer themselves. This show is not like any other and should get a little consideration.

They really used a giant prop coin for the Bribe that looked just like the first Coin of Destiny. And they really let it be offered to the same person twice, with vague rules, and apparently making a deal isn't being considered "a game move" so it's only binding for Yash? I'd laugh but I really wanted to see someone set up camp sites again and serve hot dogs to grouchy people who don't want them. I loved that one.

She continues trying to make everything about her, and she injects herself into situations that don't involve her. She's never at fault for anything, it's always somebody else. She's got no empathy for anyone else's feelings but she makes sure to explain all of her feelings to everyone. Nearly every time she talks game, it revolves around her and whether she's liked or not. She can't hear a life story or experience without countering with her own overly detailed story, whether related or not. She's often comedy relief for me, but lately it's just not funny. Props are warranted for winning the Block Buster, but not enough for an upgrade to neutral.

Yes, I'm giving him downs even though he gave me a shoutout and a verbal tour of this site. I try to be fair that way, and I want to think he'd respect that. And if not, oh well. I'd been wondering why he didn't bring the wit and humor of his Bluesky posts into the house with him, but some people are better in text than voice and that's fine. But he has now come out with some jokes he shouldn't have, and I'd rather he go back to bland than go there. He's letting Dee lead him around as one of her top goats, and he barely blinked when she put up his bestie Drew, and he didn't act like he minded too much when he found out she's going to put up his other bestie Mallory next to him.

She's gathering an army of goats to ensure a win at the end and she herds them efficiently and seemingly effortlessly. Plus the seed-bombs she drops everywhere are military grade, highly effective and extra lethal. Her style of having others do her bidding is a proven BB strategy but unfortunately for many, including me, vilifying her threats to turn them into targets is distasteful to watch. That's compounded when the minion goats she wants to keep around are the ickies we don't want to watch. She makes a huge point of repeatedly saying it's a game and they'll all be friends afterwards, pre-absolving herself of any lasting blame for her crimes. It's very impressive gameplay for strategists to enjoy, and hence the neutral, but it's a huge loss for entertainment fans and decency advocates. She's playing old school BB, and well. It isn't for the faint of heart.

He's right behind Dee, usually fanning the flames of her seed bombs and throwing gasoline on all the fires she starts. He told us he wants to go to the end with her, but I think she'll cut him when we get into the endgame. If they should end up in finals together, he's told us he thinks he'll win because he has a family to support and he's still working for a living, while she already won a million bucks. Unless he starts to harp on that soon, and often, that kind of argument doesn't tend to fly with BB juries. But I guess that could depend on who guides them at the round table.

His immaturity is apparent whenever he opens his mouth, and his ignorance of the world at large shows whenever he tosses out very wrong answers to general knowledge topics. I don't want to say he's also got a lack of basic humanity but I don't know why else he bashes Taylor and LaLa so hard all day every day, or stands around with his mouth open like a baby bird waiting for one of them to feed him. Yes he's young, but he's old enough that his age is not an excuse for his behavior.

Most of them have been demeaning or dismissive about her for weeks, making it even sweeter when she won first the wall and now a veto when she needed it. She's been openly told by both allies and enemies to stay low and not talk game with anyone, and there's zero reason or excuse for that. She's hilarious when she's angry (and she's got plenty to be angry about in there) but she can't express that anger or they treat her worse than they already do. All while eating her food and sitting back while she cleans up after them. I've been told by a few people they don't like my obvious bias in favor of her and Taylor, and I say what are you doing here? I put in the work and pay the bills here, and can say what I like. Go read someone who agrees with you if you need validation for your opinions.

She's one of the most liked in there currently, she was the first rookie to win a Time Capsule vote, and she's won a couple comps, so of course she's a priority for Dee to get gone. On top of all that, she gets a lot of Barrett's time and attention, and Dee doesn't want him distracted from working towards her winning trajectory. I was a little disappointed by her extreme crashout upon learning she'll be the renom this week, but I'll give her a day to recover, and I hope she never throws a comp again.

She's got a lot of anger that she only releases alone or in private conversations, or in Diary, and she continues to talk big without really doing anything. She's gotten nastier about LaLa and Taylor but they've got an HOH and two vetos between them and Melody's got nothing, so maybe she should try a little humility. I was a little disappointed by her extreme crashout upon learning Mallory will be the renom this week, but I'll give her a day to recover, and I hope she never throws a comp again.

I hated how hurt she was after Angela confronted her Saturday night, and Haley piled on, but I loved how she pulled out itemized receipts for every reference and every conversation. And I loved how she came back on Sunday, using her professional skills as a children's counselor to talk to both Angela and Haley, because they were both acting like children about it all. Very spoiled children. I've been told by a few people they don't like my obvious bias in favor of her and LaLa, and I say what are you doing here? He said he left for the show before learning if his time-off request at work was approved or not, and that he learned about BB from ChatGPT. He was mostly an NPC for the first weeks, a non-playing character who was randomly activated to say some lines which were generally out of context, and often completely non-sensical. He usually didn't know what was going on around him, but that gave us a bonus of multiple shockfaces. He was tight with Haley and Kamu but nobody else, and when Kamu jumped off that sinking ship, Chuk was stapled to Haley. That's about all there is to say. She started out a two-trick pony between her dad's 80s hit and her education credentials, but she soon branched out to showmancer deluxe. She and Rome got into it faster than most and were smackier than some, but it didn't last long before she was on her own. She might have been a good player but she promised too much to too many and when those notes were compared, she was toast. She won the bowlerina-esque veto to save herself, and her eviction ended up being a pivotal moment and game-changer, but not because of anything she did. She was fun when she got goony and I found her mostly likeable, especially when she talked normally, but the babygirl voice got her results more than it should have.

Won: Week 1 Safety; Week 2 Block Buster

HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 1/1/0 - HN 1

Jason De Puy - 35
Twitter - Instagram - TikTok
Pre-BB26 part 1 - part 2 - Reality press event as Ainsley

Single - BB fan/pre-season test run veteran
Drag queen - West Hollywood, CA (orig San Francisco, CA)

3rd evicted - Day 24

He wasn't grouped with the other reality vets and he downplayed Salina's celebrity, and I respect that he did this as Jason without the built-in advantages of being a known entity. But he messed up the first week when he announced he wanted to go after those three, and it got back to them while they were in power. He compounded that when he admitted to several that his sincere-sounding bond with Angela was fake, and that got back to her. But it all resulted in a hilariously explosive noms ceremony, and he topped that with his teakettle-clanging after Kamu attacked him at Mallory's tea party. Yes he was a messy bitch but he was also genuine, vulnerable, funny, and easily my star of the season.

Won: Week 1 Safety

HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/1/0 - HN 1

Jack 'Rome' Seymour - 28
Twitter - Instagram - Trash Instagram
Single - recruit
Pickleball coach
Delray Beach, FL (orig Traverse City, MI)

2nd evicted - Day 17

If you took all the brojock buffoons we've ever had and rolled them into one, you'd get a cartoon character named Jack who decided he'd rather be called Rome. He fell fast and hard for Lyric and maybe she did for him too, and he cry-sobbed for hours with no tears. He acted like he thought he was the star of the show, but his early exit indicates otherwise.

Won: Nothing

HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/1/0 - HN 0

Ashley Trail - 24
Twitter - Instagram
Single - applicant
Bartender (and actormodel)
Chicago, IL (orig Alton, IL)

1st evicted - Day 10

She was an NPC at first, but many always are in the first days. She tried to get in the game when she went on the block as a renom but it was too late and she did it badly, so she's now a charter member of the not-so-illustrious first evicted club. She said she'd never had a hamburger before (how is that possible?) but now she has, so her time here wasn't a total loss.

Won: Hot lava bath

HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/0/0 - HN 0

Rachel Reilly - 41
Instagram
Married, 2 kids - three-time BB veteran
Casting agent
Hoover, AL (orig Concord, NC via Las Vegas, NV)

Eliminated via volcano - Day 1

She came in dramatically after (almost) everyone else again, dressed in red again, but this time she was there for a stunt. We've had a couple other fake move-ins before - think Anthony Scaramucci on Celebs 2 or human Ainsley (Cosette Rinab) on BB26. Rachel had people going and thinking she was there as a player but no: 175 million years ago, a dinosaur carried her off and threw her into a volcano before she even got to play a comp or invent a new catchphrase.
