I mentioned Leah told both Brooklyn and Joseph that Rubina and Tucker were holding hands. Either someone told Quinn or he also saw it, and he reported it to Kimo and T'kor. Mr Can't Keep A Secret also made a big deal about revealing some Brooklyn tea, which was that she's a former sports team dancer. Kimo and T'kor said pfftt they already knew that (they'd guessed/figured it out). Kimo said it was interesting that after Tucker said he likes curly hair and girls who don't wear a ton of makeup, Makensy's hair went curly and Leah started wearing less makeup.Later, guy talk in HOH got funny about feeling frisky and frustrated, and Joseph, Quinn, Joseph, Tucker all joined the eavesdropping memes collection by listening in on the girls downstairs who were prepping food. Cam also joined them. Midnight finally rolled around and another round of Have-nots came to an end. All three were ecstatic about their first bites of real food, particularly Angela who'd been planning and dreaming of her BLT with avocado for a couple days. Recall that Diary delivered Angela's birthday cake mixes on August 11 when her birthday was the 17th. Since she was a Have-not on the day, Leah had offered to make her cake when that ended. It did not go well. The first draft was one of the worst looking hamster cakes we've seen over the years (and that's saying something), but they pulled it together somewhat for the finished product with strawberry slices and blueberries. Proof of Rubina and Tucker doing more than cuddling was finally seen on feeds, so now we know. And that brings us to today, which started off with waffling galore. 6th Avenue less Joseph met in HOH and when Angela left, Kimo suggested he, T'kor, Rubina, Tucker finally/officially lock in their foursome, which they did. They tossed around name ideas and first temporarily settled on ADs, for Ass Doctors, as a joke about various others thinking Kimo's a secret doctor. Tucker suggested Visionaries which probably startled Kimo and T'kor since that's their trio with Quinn. Then they suggested Friendz, Frenzy, Friendzy, finally settling on Friendzzzz with four Zs for the four of them. They did a hands-in saying Friendz four times then ZZZZ, and all agreed it was stupid. Tucker gave some more anti-Brooklyn/anti-Chelsie monologues to various combos of allies but when he left the Friendzzzz, T'kor said it was a bad precedent to just roll over and give Tucker what he wants. Kimo and Rubina told her to speak up during meetings rather than after (finally!), and they temporarily decided to keep Chelsie over Cam. Makensy joined them, having finally caught up to Monday's events, and pushed for Cam to go over either Brooklyn or Chelsie because he's a non-entity in the game, while Brooklyn and Chelsie would continue being targets and thus shields. T'kor told Leah the vote shouldn't be up to Tucker and that Rubina was pushing to keep Chelsie; Leah told Cam it didn't look good for him; T'kor told Chelsie "we need you here" and said she had to win AI Arena; and Quinn told Leah if it's Cam vs Chelsie, Cam will go and if he wins AI Arena, Brooklyn will go. The show recap included a lot of Monday's veto meeting fallout but softballed the Brooklyn/Tucker talk. They did show a lot of the potential vote flip chats, and they had Tucker and Rubina in the greenlit HOH bed for one of those, but they cut that off before they kissed. For a show that usually puts showmance footage above game or personalities, that was a surprising and welcome choice. AI Arena was Digital Decryption: Ainsley had Brooklyn, Cam, Chelsie watch letters flying around big screens to cull phrases from them, then select the correct props in individual booths to recreate three correct (supposedly) AI-generated images correctly to illustrate the phrases. The letters gradually resolved themselves into more easily discernible phrases (unicorn birthday forest, snowy burger bouquet, and whatever the third one was). One of the demo pics included a hamster which was nice to see. The whole thing took a lot longer than previous Arena comps have but eventually Chelsie won, and earned her safety. That meant virtually all the waffling in the show recap and on the feeds was virtually for nothing, since nearly all of that was for a Cam versus Chelsie scenario. Brooklyn was evicted 8-1, with Chelsie being the 1. She went out with hugs for everyone including Tucker, and became the fifth of five evictees who originally voted against Ainsley entering the house as #17. (Ainsley's got some mad revenge skills.) I guess Brooklyn can still root for a married mother to win the season from home since Angela's still in it (heh). Julie did not tell the remainders they're now in jury, but she told us there will be three nominees again this week and another AI Arena next Thursday. She also mentioned Sunday's show is scheduled for a half hour later than usual and will include AI Instigator winner reveal and whatever shenanigans that will entail, and that Wednesday's show is two hours. But you knew all that already. Let me take a moment here to mention a piece I did for @realityblurred. It was written ahead of time so some items are a bit out of date already, but hopefully it's still fun. Feeds didn't come back until 9.50pm. T'kor won the HOH, which sounded like it was questions about short videos of them, and she apparently won after only three questions. Several of them said seeing them on video made it real that they were being watched all the time. Well, yes. Rubina was crying to Kimo when feeds came back, "ugly crying" per herself, because she was so happy for T'kor. T'kor told Kimo she wished she had more time for one-on-ones. (They've set a precedent this year to do them on Thursday night before the HOH room event, even though they have most of the day Friday.) T'kor and Kimo decided 20 minute meetings with everyone would be good (that's still 3 hours 20 minutes), and she started with Kimo. He urged her not to give up too much info but to gather it instead, and they wondered if it would be better to put up Tucker now or hope for a renom opportunity. She said she was pleased two Black women had wins tonight, and she said she won't touch Kimo, Chelsie, or Rubina. Makensy said she was terrified, and mentioned her Underdogs paranoia a few times. Kimo told Tucker there aren't many options, and he hoped none of 6th Avenue would go up. Tucker and Rubina talked about how proud of T'kor they were, and of how determined she is, and both sung her praises and cried (and hugged), and said how happy they were for her win, and for who she is. They were joined by Makensy, who agreed, and then Kimo and Joseph. Rubina continued crying about how happy she was for T'kor, and how stupid it was that she kept crying, and everyone told her it was fine, they were pleased for T'kor also. Tucker met with T'kor and they share a very, very lengthy hug, and he said seeing her win was "the rawest human emotion I've ever seen." He said his targets would still be Quinn and Chelsie but he'd be cool with whoever T'kor put up, "even if you need me as a pawn" but he added he'd rather not do that. Angela said she couldn't say who she'd put up because she didn't want to feel responsible if one of her names went home, and she said Kimo and Tucker would be T'kor's "best advocates for that," and she reminded T'kor of their alliance. Leah was next and said Makensy would be an "easy target" because she hadn't talked game with T'kor and because "it's no secret she's on the outs." She also said she wishes Rubina would play her own game because Tucker "blows up everything." Cam was next and T'kor said nobody was giving her much. He didn't either, and he said he felt everyone was ready to target him because he didn't talk much game and people saw him as a physical threat. Then he implied he'd like to make an F2 with Tucker to get info, and then T'kor could backdoor him. He asked if he would have gone home against Chelsie and T'kor said he would. (I think Leah also told him that earlier.) Then it was Joseph who immediately suggested Cam, Makensy, Chelsie because they didn't have many options outside their alliance. He said he knows T'kor likes Chelsie but she hadn't always been in T'kor's corner like Leah and Quinn have, and he said Chelsie would be safe and wouldn't have any hard feelings. (I wouldn't be so sure about that.) T'kor said Tucker had offered to be a pawn, and Joseph said maybe that was the best option and she should take him up on that offer, and that he didn't think he'd go home if he stayed on the block after veto and AI Arena, which was unlikely anyway. And he said he was grateful T'kor included him in the proposed flip plan. Quinn was next, and said he figured everyone had suggested Makensy and he was cool with that. T'kor said she didn't want to put up Cam a second week in a row but what if she went Makensy, maybe Cam, and Tucker since he volunteered, who would be the renom? Quinn said maybe Leah. T'kor got her room a little after 1am. They ooh'd and ahh'd at her pics of her sisters and boyfriend Jabari, and her goodies, which included new sunglasses, crochet earrings, a lot of cosmetics and a lot of food, as usual. Her letter was from her twin sister, her music was Beyoncé, and her booze was Moscato d'Asti wine. Makensy hung back after everyone left, like she does, and started by saying T'kor looks like her twin. She said Quinn scares her game-wise, and she said if T'kor thinks of her as a threat, "please don't think that ever." Chelsie and Rubina meetings were still to go but they'll do those without me. Except for the part where T'kor asked Rubina if she knew why Chelsie was crying earlier and Rubina said yes, it was about "someone saying something.." T'kor asked if it was something inappropriate, about race, Rubina said yes to both questions, and cut to fishies. T'kor's noms will be known when she meets again with Kimo but it's safe to assume Makensy will be one, and Tucker will probably be one since he said he'll be fine with whoever she chooses "even if you need me as a pawn." I'm not sure about her third but it will become clear: they have most of tomorrow to go over it all again. And again. GET YOUR FEEDS to get the real story. It's a very messy, chaotic season so far. Day 39 - Friday - August 23, 2024Adding on to where I left off last night, there was another convo with Kimo telling Tucker he hoped Chelsie's okay, and he hoped "it wasn't a personal family thing" (for why she was crying). Tucker said he didn't know "but it just screams Leah" and he said "she got in trouble with the whole fuckin Leo character" and "there's been four other incidences." Kimo said "yeah, it's not good." Tucker then said "hopefully it wasn't her." (Going back to August 5 when the viewer vote was underway, Tucker told Kenney viewers would probably put Leah or Quinn on the block "because Leah has said like four derogatory terms and they [viewers] don't let that shit slide." Kenney said maybe we didn't see it and Tucker told him feeds see everything, and "she got called out on two of them, and they had a big discussion.")To my knowledge, there haven't been any derogatory terms come out on feeds, but a lot of things haven't come out on feeds this season. I'm pretty sure they finally put in a short delay like live TV does to cut those things off before they get out. Regardless, overnight convos after the two items I mentioned had a lot of fishies interruptions, and then the fishies came at 4.25am and stayed, and they're still swimming as of noon today. We'll find out when we find out, or not. Presumably they also have the AI Instigator thing to kick off, though I doubt they'd start that at 5am after a live show and a late night. Also in the mix, Leah told Joseph last night she'd found open condom wrappers, so there was proof that Rubina and Tucker were a thing. Feeds came back around 1.45pm and all eleven were present and accounted for. It almost seemed like they'd just gotten up for the day. . It almost seemed like they'd just gotten up for the day, but we later heard their wakeup came at 11am. They were still locked inside, presumably for tomorrow's veto comp build in the backyard. I didn't hear anything to indicate they'd seen the holo box come alive for AI Instigator, but that doesn't mean it didn't. (It did later.) Makensy told Leah she'd been told she was going on the block. Feeds went down again around 3pm for approx 40 minutes and came back to all of them sitting in the living room, stunned, except Joseph who was in his upstairs nest. They'd had the first message from the AI Instigator, via AI Quinn in the holo box. They said the message was short and only played once. It included Tucker and Rubina had been holding hands (recall that spread around via telephone game last night), and they should have gotten Rubina out last week, and "Pentagon for life." Tucker said something about his mental state being included but others didn't recall that. Rubina burst into tears and went upstairs, and Tucker followed. He hugged, kissed, and peptalked her, and said so what? Now they can hold hands whenever they want, and they had some cute moments about it. Speculation in there included whether this came about via a viewer vote, or Ainsley messing with them, or maybe Brooklyn as some kind of evictee perk. Quinn explained America's Player but just the pranks - I don't think he included the part about influencing noms or votes. Speculation out here ran rampant about who won the vote, with most everyone being certain it was [insert various names here]. I figured Joseph would do the most creative and/or interesting stuff with it but these things are almost always decided by casuals and tv-onlies, and they've not had much exposure to him. Angela, Quinn, Tucker were the likeliest to get it based on that criteria, in my opinion. Angela was mostly silent for the aftermath, maybe just staying out of it since her name didn't come up, or maybe improving her poker-face skills. Quinn was extra perky last night and also today in the discussions about it, and was involved in the hand-holding retells, but he'd probably have told someone within the hour if it was him. Tucker's always up for chaos so I could see him plopping himself right into the thick of it. If it was him, he may have felt bad that Rubina got so upset, but he seemed to make up for it. Feeds went down again for nominations around 4.20pm and came back a little over an hour later. T'kor nominated Cam, Makensy, Tucker. Leah and Chelsie were talking, with Leah saying she wasn't working with Makensy. Newly-nominated Makensy went into the room, and Chelsie asked if they could have five minutes. Ouch. Angela fixed herself a nice charcuterie plate and folded up cheese and salami bites, saying "cheers Brooklyn" as feedmasters panned between her and Brooklyn's grayed-out photo. Kimo explained OTEV to Tucker, and coached him with studying for that (and late season comps). Kimo also coached Cam about days/events, and later studied with Quinn, T'kor, Tucker, and also with Rubina, T'kor. Quinn said he didn't think viewers would have voted for the Instigator message (they don't know yet it's called that), adding "America, whose game do you want to fuck up?!" Maybe he forgot he won a vote to do just that a couple weeks ago. Rubina continued complaining to Tucker about not wanting to feel or look stupid, and he said nobody knows what it's like in there. Cam and Makensy both seemed to accept their nominations well, acting the same as both usually do: nonchalant, unbothered, and largely uninvolved. Considering there are 11 of them, on noms day, and a twist development day, feeds were extremely sleepy and quiet for the most part, like it was Day 80. Rubina and Tucker did some more canoodling. Makensy and Leah modeled for the latest tragic movie poster. I thought this movie might be called Tales of the Tuckerless, and @livxcanyonmoon suggested Tucker Everlasting - nice one. The two of them traded theories about the Instigator and I think they decided Angela was behind it? Maybe Brooklyn. Leah later told that to Quinn, who agreed, and Kimo, and Joseph. Joseph told Leah he can't deal with Rubina any more, which I believe is a throwback to the first days. Quinn spilled Brooklyn's former sports team dancer secret to Leah. Leah didn't get dressed all day but some of us probably didn't either. She cleaned the bathroom, and finally changed jammies. Cam told Leah if she's ever on the block he'll have her back, and he thanked her for giving him a heads up yesterday about the vote. Kimo did some dancing and singing here and there, alone and with others, and some burping and hysterical laughing along the way. All the important updates, I got 'em for you. Angela told Makensy she has her vote, and Angela told Cam that what he's heard is true, she thinks he's attractive. That spread around fast, as you'd expect. Joseph told himself/us after a long chat with Leah he had such a crush on her "it's disgusting" and said he was supposed to be a robot in there. T'kor told Kimo she doesn't know who she'll put up as renom, as of now. Kimo offered to go up as a pawn if needed, and so had Rubina. This season is beyond bonkers. A second Instigator appearance hasn't happened as of midnight. Normally they front-load those kinds of things so they have lots of edit options for the shows. I don't know.
