The stroke of midnight and subsequent screaming/face-stuffing wasn't on feeds. Also Kenney yelled at said Have-nots for making too much noise when he was trying to sleep. And the bedrooms were excessively hot.Feeds went to adoptable anipals after morning wake-up today, and that's all I know about that. Feeds eventually came back around 1pm for primping and talk about who'd nominate whom in the next round, and Makensy talking about wanting to get baptized in there with Chelsie officiating, then they went down again around 2.30pm until after the show. The show brought the convo with Tucker confronting Lisa about her (non-existent) power and not believing she's a chef; Angela dropping boulder size hints to Tucker about Quinn's power, with Quinn nearby; and Angela mocking Lisa and calling her a twit, followed by Lisa breakdown in the pantry and saying Angela's a bully. Then the three nominees went to AI Arena, which was Security Race, with a lot of circuitry and hacking buzzwords and puns. They had to rotate gears to line up colors properly and then add puzzle pieces in layers to match the example. Tucker won easily, and once again the house cheered when they heard the news. T'kor collapsed and Quinn and Leah rushed to help her. She later said she'd stood up and just went light-headed, and hit the deck. Also once again the final nominees Angela and Lisa did not pull people into rooms to campaign as Julie wanted them to. They gave their speeches: Angela's was a big over the top, gushing affair, and Lisa's included wanting to stay in order to "set a good example." The vote was 11-1 for Lisa to be gone, with Kenney the lone dissenter. Julie's vote reveal was a double blindside since both nominees thought Angela was a goner. She made the classic O-mouth shockface, and Lisa got a kind of pinched expression when the reality set in. With the edits being how they were, tv-onlies probably had no idea how much Lisa had made herself difficult to live with, since they hadn't really mentioned glitter or the rest for awhile. Angela doled out huge thank yous to everyone, Lisa had her sit-down with Julie where she said "no one was speaking truth to me which is really shocking" (welcome to BB), and that was the end of the hour. Feeds came back for a bit and went off again for their HOH comp at 8.19pm, and returned two hours later. Cedric won the HOH, which had a physical and/or balance component to it but I didn't hear much else about what it was. Makensy wasted no time and was his first meeting. He told her Angela had to go up on principle, but he didn't know who else he'd put up. She then told him she had one of the powers but she lied about it, saying she could only take herself off the block for the first three weeks, and if unused by Week 4 she could use it on anyone. And she further lied by saying the HOH would select the renom. She did not get a "you are not allowed to use production as strategy" announcement, which irked me. Cedric then told Chelsie he was thinking Angela, Kenney if he still wants to go home, and either Rubina or Leah. Kenney was next and said he does still want to go home (send him already!), and they confessed their secrets to each other, of Kenney being former DEA/local PD, and Cedric being former Marine intel analyst. Tucker told Cedric that Makensy had lied about her power, and suggested she go up. And Tucker told Joseph about Quinn's power, and that Lisa never had one. Cedric cycled through more meetings since they're doing them quickly, speed-dating style, on Thursday nights rather than leisurely on Fridays this season. The rest of them gossiped and ran scenarios, like they do, and they wondered about Have-nots. Shortly after midnight Cedric called them all to the living room to announce BB was giving them a break from Have-nots this week, which resulted in cheers from everyone. With any luck, BB will forget about the whole dumb HN thing for the rest of the season. Cedric got his room a little before 1am and happy-cried seeing pics of his family with Young Cedric, and reading his letter. It was from his mom and addressed to "Booty" which he said she'd called him since he was little. His music was Tupac and his booze was hard seltzer (again), and he got the usual huge assortment of snacks, toiletries, some clothes, accessories. Everyone seemed happy for him, even Kenney, who stayed up past his bedtime for the festivities. When everyone left, Cedric told Joseph he was hesitant to put up Makensy because he might have to nominate one to three extra people, depending what her actual power is. (He may find out he wouldn't have to name anyone else if Makensy invokes her power: viewers will do that.) It sounded like Cedric was leaning towards Leah as his third with Angela/Kenney, and Joseph said he thought Brooklyn and Rubina were the most immediate threats to the Collective. Kimo kind of volunteered to be pawn in the third nominee spot, if needed. Cedric didn't like that idea, but he might go for it if he can't figure out who else to do. It's all very much in pencil as of now, as I am checking out for the night. GET YOUR FEEDS to get the real story. It's a very messy, very fun season so far. Day 18 - Friday - August 2, 2024Cedric continued some meetings last night, which included Leah pitching Cam as a nominee and Cam pitching Joseph. Cedric asked Joseph about that, and he wisely said no thanks. Several told Cedric that Leah had openly said she'd target him if given the chance. Cedric started off today still unsure about his third nominee and asking for volunteers in follow-up meeting rounds, mentioning bloody hands and asking "what's the narrative?" a lot. Tucker volunteered again, likely (at least partially) so Rubina wouldn't land on the block. And worse, he told Cedric he wouldn't use veto if he wins it, so Cedric wouldn't have to name a fourth. And he boasted some about his AI Arena performance, so he keeps painting a bigger target on himself. Several of the women let Cam use his skills and expertise to give them neck massages. Makensy told Cedric (after a Diary visit) that he actually wouldn't choose the renom if she uses her power, adding "it's a weird vote, it's by vote" and she finally told him it'd be a viewer vote, adding "I just wanted to clarify that." And she told him to pre-warn whoever he's going to put up, adding "let us, the players, handle the rest because that's who's in charge of it."Angela told Cedric she's fine, and Tucker repeated his pawn offer within her hearing. Brooklyn, Chelsie, Rubina reminded Cedric that Kenney or Tucker would be likelier to win veto, so he'd still need a fourth name. Cedric told Quinn and Joseph he needed a volunteer and got crickets in return. Kenney told Cedric if by chance Angela wins veto "just send me home," and he said there HAS to be a five- or six-person alliance. Yes indeed. The two of them plus Tucker formed and formalized Shake It Up alliance with a hands-in, and Kenney said they could bro it up and run the house (my paraphrase). And he said if it's him versus Tucker on Thursday, "send me home." I don't think we've ever seen an alliance form between an HOH and two nominees before. Word of Kenney's suspicions about a girls' alliance also got around. Chelsie clarified Makensy's power to Cedric some more, including that she can take anyone off the block any week. The backyard opened so tomorrow's veto comp will likely be in the indoor space, or maybe outdoors within the studio lot again. Feeds went to adoptable anipals around 3pm for nominations and returned an hour later. Cedric did indeed nominate Angela, Kenney, Tucker, and Quinn did not use his power. It was another quiet afternoon but eventually some gametalk popped out. Kimo, Quinn, Rubina, T'kor talked about bringing Tucker officially into their group, and Cam, Cedric, Joseph talked about trying to have a Collective meeting at 12.30am tonight. Also, Joseph was a little perturbed Brooklyn had been brought into the Collective without his knowledge. Dinner was meatball subs and sides, and afterwards Joseph sat on the balcony grumbling more to himself/us about Brooklyn, and how she's smart so will know she's at the bottom of it. He didn't appear to question if maybe he's the one at the bottom. Kenney and Cedric had a check-in with more True Confessions (Kenney did have a food truck for a time) and talk about sitting in finale chairs, and Cedric and Chelsie had a check-in where she suggested Leah go up as renom if one's needed. Cedric pitched that thought to Tucker, should he win veto, and Tucker said "I'm with it." The rest of the evening remained dull. GET YOUR FEEDS to get the real story.
