Most were in good spirits this morning. Cam, Leah, Rubina worked on a charcuterie board of sorts, with the typical groceries they get stocked with. It included pickles, olives, pretzels, saltines, and flower-shaped arrangements of Pepperidge Farm cookies and packaged lunch meats. No word if Lisa weighed in on it, or added glitter. HOH lockdown/tech rehearsal came and went, and Thursday primping took over. Questions came up about what to wear, and Leah suggested they all dress up as it's their first eviction, and the only one with all of them there. Her non-stop talking is bugging some out here, but her social game has been very good so far with a lot of getaround work, and her talk-talk doesn't seem to be grating on any of them. So far. Recaps and catchups on the live show included Angela vs Kenney from what felt like weeks ago, and did not include anything about Angela vs Lisa. They posted a preview of AI Arena earlier in the afternoon, which was Glitch in the System: Kenney, Kimo, Matt had two minutes to study multiple video screens with multiple hamsters on looping videos, and pick whose image was seen most. Kimo was correct with Quinn, which took him off the block. The others didn't watch the comp and they lost their minds cheering and screaming when Julie told them Kimo won, and Cedric's and Chelsie's huge mascot chip costumes filled most of the screen for the celebration. She told Matt and Kenney they had 60 seconds to campaign but apparently they couldn't hear her over the screaming, so Julie reminded them again, and then told them they could go into other rooms to pitch since they were both basically running their nominee speeches to the crowd. Nominee speeches didn't exactly break the mold. Matt rambled on about being who he is, his mom, his morals, and the other loops he's been repeating for days. He wrapped by saying he forgave Angela, and Julie said "that sounded biblical to me, just saying." (Non-Christians and non-religious people often forgive also, just saying.) Matt was evicted 8-3, with Lisa, Makensy, Leah the dissenters. When Julie announced the count Angela was happy and Makensy was not. My Kenney prediction was wrong, and may have been influenced by wishful thinking. Julie announced next week's shows which were as usual, with the exception there will be another AI Arena next Thursday, so we'll assume three nominees again this week, and possibly for the next two until Makensy's/Quinn's powers are used or expire. Julie mentioned those powers while Matt was still onstage, so he'll be going home and not to battle-back sequester. Feeds returned around 6.40pm, then went down from around 8 to 10pm for their HOH comp, which Chelsie won. She'd previously said she wanted to throw it, but later said Leah stayed in it so she had to win since she thought Leah was getting sketchy. She said right after the eviction, Leah stressed she wasn't aligned with Matt and Makensy, and only stayed up late with them because she couldn't sleep, which Chelsie thought was an excuse/lie. Feeds went down again and came back to squealing and screaming about Leah, Lisa, Makensy, Rubina being Have-nots. It sounded like Tucker picked Lisa, and the others volunteered? Leah and Lisa in particular made a huge show of being happy and excited about it and what a fun adventure it would be. They trooped up to the room and the ex-slop guys gave them bedding tips. Lisa said it's the penthouse, and she liked the feng shui of her bed. Tucker then gave Lisa some tips for making slop, and she said she likes him, she likes their banter, and she likes their chef-to-chef situation. Leah made up a Leah song and then performed it for the others in her self-described risqué pajama set du jour. Kenney sat alone at the main table, not interacting much with anyone. He did ask Leah "how'd they flip that?" referring to the vote. (Was he really undercover DEA? Observation and social skills seem lacking.) Makensy, Leah, Quinn, Cam, and others did a lot of babytalk, robot voices, and bad British and other accents - help. Lisa cleansed and blessed the Have-not room, on her own, announcing to us that she was mindful of all who've slept there, many words, moon, sage, energy, clarity, dreams, and she put a drop of a many-words cure-all essential oil on EVERYONE'S PILLOW. Yes she did. For a woman who talks so much about boundaries, she doesn't seem to really understand the concept. Chelsie said her target is Lisa, and she said she hopes she doesn't find any glitter in her room. She met with T'kor, Kimo, Cedric, Cam in various combos, and said she didn't want to shake things up too much this early, but hoped to flush out the powers - like most of them, she thinks Lisa has one. And she pointed out none of Angela's original three nominees went home. As of now, her most likely nominee options seem to be Lisa as her target, Makensy, Kenney because he volunteered, and Angela because she'd told everyone she expects to go on the block after last week. And she said she may not hold pre-nom one-on-ones with everyone. She said she'll talk if people want to, but they need to make the effort. Chelsie got her room around 1am and everyone went upstairs to see her pics and goodies. Lisa had previously gone to bed in Have-not and asked BB to turn out the lights, but she got up to join them. Chelsie read her letter from her mom with news from home, encouragement and support, and she busted up when she got to the end: "remember, NO SHOWMANCE" (in all caps). Mom added if the right guy is in there, it can wait. Her music was Alicia Keys and her booze was peach White Claw, and she got the usual huge assortment of snacks, drinks, clothes, frozen foods, and etc. Tucker met with Chelsie when everyone left, suggesting she nominate Lisa (no surprise). The yard opened, and Angela asked Cedric to put in a good word for her with Chelsie, so she doesn't go up, and she also worked on Kimo and Quinn a bit. Makensy met with Chelsie, and told her about her veto power. Afterwards Chelsie wondered aloud if she should put her up so the power would be used and out of play, or not. Day 11 - Friday - July 26, 2024In overnight news, Leah and Quinn had a lengthy gametalk/flirt session, while "holding spoons." I don't know. They formalized a final two, and Quinn told her he also had one with Kimo but this with Leah was his true F2. Leah said she'd like to work with Makensy, and Quinn said T'kor. They agreed to try to solidify a foursome with Kimo and T'kor. Quinn later reported to T'kor, and they joked about whether they could afford another team, and about being "just too likable." Leah began the day fired up about having been on the wrong side of the vote. Kimo, Quinn, T'kor talked about Cam being a social and comp threat who should go before jury. Both Angela and Makensy made pre-nom damage control rounds, each running their usual loops to various others: Angela wants to stay and play/she's not really who she was last week, and Makensy was seen as being with Matt but she's her own person.Chelsie met with various of them about nomination scenarios. Her target remained Lisa who will likely be an original nom rather than a backdoor plan, and she debated who else to go up. Kenney still seemed a likely second because he volunteered. Joseph pushed for Leah and Cedric pushed for Angela as the third, with the caveat that Chelsie should definitely warn Angela ahead of time if it's her. They agreed it would be good to keep both Angela and Makensy around as shields, and because they'd go after each other rather than others. Chelsie told Rubina she knows one of the powers is a veto (effectively), but she didn't say she knew Makensy had it. Kenney told Makensy he expected to go up, and he didn't want to win the veto: "I kind of want to stay up there if things don't change" and he added he thinks he'll be good next week and will try to win HOH. Leah's damage control rounds included telling Joseph she wasn't aligned with Matt/Makensy and has never committed to a named alliance - but when she did, she was just going along with a pitch and wasn't sincere about it. Chelsie told Lisa she hasn't made up her mind, but she has decided she "doesn't want to rock the boat yet." Lisa took that to mean targeting Angela, which of course Lisa was happy to go along with. Chelsie did tell Lisa she was "in consideration" because they hadn't talked game before, but she's not a target (she still is Chelsie's target per most all her other convos). Lisa said she'd gun for veto if she's not on the block and gave her word she'd do whatever Chelsie wants if she wins it. Angela told Chelsie "I know you have to put me up" but asked that she be an original nom so she has two chances to save herself. And she said she was certain Lisa has a power (it was Angela who told everyone that), and she said even if Chelsie puts her up, she won't retaliate later if she wins another HOH. Angela also acknowledged that Lisa had helped calm her down when she was spiraling so bad last week and she remains grateful for that, but then Lisa turned on her. Chelsie told us she's planning on Kenney, Angela, Lisa, as of now. A bunch of them spent a long time writing a song. Normally BB would stop that (with a few notable exceptions), because control room staff aren't copyright lawyers or musicologists, and can't be expected to know every melody and lyric ever recorded. At the same time, Leah was having a lengthy talk session with Chelsie, and they were joined by Makensy. It came out that both of them knew about Makensy's power, and eventually Chelsie seemed to agree that saving Lisa to backdoor would be her best bet, either to ensure she's on the block Thursday and/or to flush out the other power they think she has. Cam joined and agreed to go up as a pre-veto pawn, confidently saying it was okay since he'd just win the veto. Tucker's name also came up as an option. Chelsie was called to Diary to kick off nominations, and she quickly filled in Cedric, who also volunteered to go up if needed. Meanwhile, Angela took a well-deserved break from it all. Chelsie nominated Angela, Kenney, Lisa as originally planned, so all that last-minute mess came to nothing. Quinn's power was not invoked, leaving him two more chances to use it. Lisa talked her talk, proclaiming she was good, it wasn't her first time and she'll win the veto again. But she asked Makensy and Rubina to cook some slop for her so she wouldn't have to spend her energy on that. Later she said the whole situation mirrors her own life, "I'm always a little salmon swimming upstream against the grain." Fellow two-timer Kenney gave her props for having won one of the "most difficult" BB comps by spelling TRANSFORM and they talked about being glad they'll outlast Angela, clearly oblivious to the real plan of sending Lisa home. Angela sat around looking like she was trying hard to appear unbothered. Chelsie told us she doesn't trust Cam, even though he's in her closest alliance, because he doesn't share with them and only interacts with Leah, Lisa, Makensy. Chelsie told Brooklyn about Makensy's power. It was a slow and rather dull evening. Makensy said she didn't fall in love with Matt "in 10 days" - he said otherwise on his IG, but he's been proven to have unreliable narrator tendencies. Lisa conserved her energy, farted in the crowded kitchen, and griped about being Have-not, and she held Chelsie hostage in the pantry for a marathon talk that started with asking if she's the target? Chelsie said no. Lisa put her feet on the counter in there and cameras zoomed in to share with us how utterly filthy they were. (Note I did not post that close-up, you're welcome.) Leah and Quinn hung out some more, with a tone that could be called flirty, and Leah and Cam did some running around, chasing each other, and shadow boxing. Cedric, Rubina, T'kor took note of that and how Cam was giggling throughout. Quinn was floored when Leah told him Cam had volunteered to pawn himself. Brooklyn and Lisa gave some live/love advice to Cedric, and Brooklyn talked some more about her Perfect Life. Most of them had a group convo about general topics in and around the hot tub later. Joseph, Kimo, Quinn had a check-in and were joined by T'kor. Quinn told T'kor about Angela telling him "that's the group" re Cam/Cedric/Chelsie. The yard stayed open so tomorrow's veto comp will likely be in the indoor space. GET YOUR FEEDS to get the real story. It's a very messy, very fun season so far.
