Instead there'd be two competitions with two vetos awarded. Everyone would play in the first, and it sounded like the winner of that would sit out the second. Recall I was told veto would be played in the sets/streets outside the habitat like Nether Gorgon, but now I don't know if that would be one or both comps. Matt's Have-not office reopened with both Blue and Felicia pitching to him to save them if he wins, and both wanting to work with him and Jag to the end, and etc etc. Matt played along with each of them, like he does. Blue retold to America, and Felicia retold to Cirie, including that Matt had told her he'd keep her but would lie to Blue and tell her the same.Feeds went to adoptable anipals for both comps at 11.47am and returned at 6.40pm. Jag won the first comp which was called BB Training Academy, and it was the one where they hang on spinny ropes and get banged into something, which ran about two hours. Winning that came with the advantage that he'll be second to use his veto at the veto meeting. Blue finished second in that comp, and America third. Bowie, who'd been wishing for a physical comp, had motion sickness issues from the spinning and dropped second after Felicia, and she was followed by Cirie. Blue won the other comp which sounded like it was estimating Jag's time on the first, maybe with a stay or fold component? I couldn't follow the bits I heard about that one. Bowie put some Icy Hot on Blue's sore back and Jag's sore arms, and Cory made himself some spaghetti noodles. Felicia got 24 hour solitary confinement in the comic room, with a tented chemical toilet like they've used in the past, and PB&J for food. Cirie moved out and up to Have-not, and Felicia told Mister B/herself/us that she wasn't able to campaign from there but if she went out next, it'd be on Day 79 and she'd be okay with that. Cirie also got a consequence that sounded like she'll have to change into a superhero costume periodically through the night, in a newly-installed phone booth under the stairs. Those consequences came from choosing cards from the second comp I think, and Felicia chose first. Jag and Matt met in Matt's Have-not office where Jag first suggested he just tell Blue he was the HOH who put her up, then Matt suggested he go up as renom in Blue's place, and then Jag would take him down with his veto, and maybe put up Cory? Those were just first drafts and Blue joined them, so the conversation turned to half-plans and half-truths with nothing confirmed yet. Chances are nothing will be confirmed for awhile because they'll talk talk talk it to death. Cirie had put on her superhero suit at some point but I didn't even realize it because she had her trusty gray robe over it. She got a signal telling her to suit up and roll across the yard and back again. She dropped the robe, added a mask, gloves, boots, and rolled around to cheers from the crowd. Cory told Jag he was getting tired of Felicia so maybe they should just go ahead and send her out. Jag and Matt then discussed taking down Felicia and putting up Cory and America in her and Blue's places, with Cory the target. They acknowledged that would give Jag bloody hands, and of course they had more complex discussions for what to say to whom. Cory joined them and continued pre-campaigning by laughing about sending Felicia to jury house with Cameron. Jag told Bowie he'd tell Blue and Cirie he's the HOH, and that he was planning to put up Cory and America, and that he'd leave Bowie's name out of it. Jag did later tell Cirie, and she thanked him for the confidence, and for keeping her safe, and he told her he was planning to put up Cory and America. Meanwhile Cory told America, Bowie, Jag, Matt about Dan's funeral and how it followed 24 hours of solitary, and that there were two vetos that week, adding "I think [Felicia]'s cooking in there." Blue, Jag, Matt laughed about America and Cory doing their bed business with Matt in the room, but he laughed and said he's deaf, he won't hear any of it. Blue joked about her and Jared staying undercovers for their "rock paper scissors" activities, and how America and/or Cory had been shocked to hear the first time she and Jared kissed was when he was evicted. (So untrue, but it's become a running gag.) Matt went off to bed, and Jag told Blue he was the HOH, and she said "put up Cory." Jag said he was going to do exactly that, along with America, and he apologized for putting up Blue in the first place. She was thrilled to hear it, and Jag went on to explain and rehash, as did she. So everyone except Cory, America, Felicia has now been told, which would mean a whole lot of backtracking if plans change. SUBSCRIBE to my Patreon to get these daily recaps in your email box! Day 75 - Sunday - October 15, 2023If Cirie had to do any tasks overnight, I didn't hear about them. They were led to believe she would and that's why she moved to Have-not room, so her task signals wouldn't annoy whatever roomies she was with. This morning Blue told Bowie she'd just realized she was the first woman to win a veto this season, and they also said most of the veto comps had been physical and guys were usually picked to play. Jag retold his tell-all convo with Blue to Matt, until they were joined by Cory. They told him Cirie thought she'd be the renom. They all complained of soreness from the rope spinny comp, which may have been the reason for the stretching in this pic, but it also looks like Jag and Matt were trying extra hard to appear nonchalant.. heh. Cory continued his anti-Felicia campaign, and continued dropping tiny bombs in general convos, including a retell of some older messy reality show where one person said their competitor was "old and tired." Cirie told America she was nervous because you never know, and Mecole had originally gone on the block as a pawn. Bowie told Matt and Jag they should study with Cory and America today to pick up whatever info bits they could, while they could.Morning moved into afternoon like a regular season, with hamsters lazing around the pool and enjoying the sun, and no scrambling about the vetos, indicating the plan to put up Cory and America was likely to stick. Normally this cast would be nonstop scurrying and whispering on a Sunday, unless a secret plan was afoot (like last week). Cirie said she was missing Felicia and her laugh, and she and Blue griped and gossiped some about Bowie, America, and Cory. Cirie's spare suit was delivered, and she started thinking about and making dinner plans for pot roast. If there were any glimpses of Felicia in her solitary comics room, I missed them. Normally in the past we have gotten peeks of whatever hamsters were in solitary. (For those keeping track, they were BB7 Danielle, BB12 Hayden, BB13 Shelly, BB14 Dan, BB15 Judd, BB23 Xavier.) Matt finally got some swim goggles but they weren't good and filled up with water immediately. He swam a few laps anyway but the BB pool is far from an Olympics training facility. It took him three strokes to cross it, and he kept hitting his hands on the bottom. Still, it was clear he enjoyed being in his element again, and the others did as well. America and Cory may or may not suspect they're in trouble but they each did some extra socializing today as if they did suspect. Cory suggested (jokingly I think) to Matt that he should have a fake screaming match with Jag after he goes on the block then comes down again (the fake plan Cory was told would happen). America wondered who Felicia would even campaign to this week. Cirie may have had a few task signals but they weren't on feeds if so, and neither was Felicia. Gametalk finally picked up again around 4pm with Jag giving Cirie a rehash of his convo with Blue, and saying he was concerned Blue might hold a grudge. Cirie said she probably wouldn't, adding "in this game, if you hold animosities wrongfully, it could cost you everything." She said she felt good with Jag and Matt and moving forward with them, and Jag reciprocated. Felicia was sprung from solitary but her release was blocked from feeds, like so many things have been this year, needlessly. They may have sent Cirie on a superhero rescue mission to free her. (If they didn't do that, they should have.) Jag didn't waste any time in telling her he was the HOH, and that both she and Blue would be coming off the block tomorrow to be replaced by America and Cory. It turns out the breaking point for Jag (and the rest of them) was America and Cory cuddling, canoodling, and giggling while Jag and Blue were spinning their guts out, and then Cory and America were happily retelling that they'd done that. Of course it's Big Brother and reasons for targeting anyone aren't necessarily the actual Reasons. Matt told Blue about the fake story to appease Cory and America by telling them Matt would be going on the block as the first renom and then get pulled off immediately to be replaced by Cirie. Blue later told Felicia and Cirie about the fake plan/story. Felicia and Blue celebrated together, and compared notes, gossip, and gripes. The hot tub finally got hot enough for America, Cory, Bowie, Jag to hang out in it for awhile, and later Matt got in it as Jag told him and Bowie that he'd filled in Felicia with the news. The last two Sundays they got booze in the afternoon to fuel the selfie camera weekly question, but the camera came out earlier while Felicia was still in lockup. Booze then arrived later, just before 9pm. That didn't lead to much of anything unusual. They mostly hung around chatting in groups of twos and threes, with several rounds of sniping about other twos and threes. Barring anything unusual happening overnight or in the morning, Blue will use her veto on herself and Jag will use his on Felicia, and he'll "invisibly" put Cory and America on the block. Feeds came back from veto meeting at 12.35pm and 12.51pm the last two Mondays, so plan your day accordingly and bring popcorn. SUBSCRIBE to my Patreon to get these daily recaps in your email box!
