She may or may not be aware of how strongly the anti-Felicia movement has taken hold in the house, largely thanks to Cameron Zombie's Scary Week seed bombs. She may or may not find out, depending who wins HOH. Nothing scary in Scary Week of Nothing put all of them in a rut of trashtalk, rehashes, and retells, and it put us into a catatonic stupor, so it'll be nice to get back to what passes as normal in this setting. On the show, after much rehash of Scary Week (without the scary bits, because there weren't any), they finally got around to the zombie revival comp which was called simply Do or Die. It was the setup we'd glimpsed on feeds yesterday, and both zombies were able to look at it and hear the description before Cameron Zombie made his choice. He opted to play, as he'd previously said he would, and the rest of them watched from the living room. He had to use two sets of pulleys to maneuver a ball on a horizontal board up the vertical zombie panel and drop the ball into a hole in the zombie's hand in three minutes. At approximately two minutes his ball fell off and he had to start over. But he managed to drop the ball in successfully with a minute and change left, so he was revived. That meant Jared was evicted, again. He went out in good spirits with hugs all around, but he broke down when Julie asked him about playing with Cirie and leaving her in there without him. He said he hoped she'll be good. (He was a handicap to her game in my opinion, so she may do better.) Julie also asked about him not telling Cirie about having told Blue their secret, and he said something like he trusted Blue? I don't know, I spaced out at that point, sorry. There was no mention of HOH comp except to say everyone would be able to play in it, and nothing unusual about next week's shows other than the times shifting around again: see "CBS Schedule" in Upcoming Events section above. Feeds didn't come back til 10.34pm and it seemed they'd been done with the HOH comp for awhile. Cameron won, again, so we're probably in for another week of his cocky, lecturing mode. I only heard a little talk about the comp and it sounded like a puzzle they had to build. A Cameron Diary on tonight's show indicated he was going to stick with Jag and Matt, so maybe we'll find out if his anti-Felicia campaign was sincere or smokescreen. But he has proven himself to be cagey about his intentions, so maybe we won't know for sure until his noms are done, and maybe not even til the veto meeting. Blue and Cirie had a check-in and compared notes about Felicia pushing her anti-Cirie and Jared agenda, and that Bowie had said Felicia now wanted to put up Cirie and Cameron if she'd won. I'll catch up Cameron's room tomorrow along with another round of pre-nom meetings. SUBSCRIBE to my Patreon to get these daily recaps in your email box! Day 59 - Friday - September 29, 2023Cameron got his room around 12.15am and they all trooped up to check out his goods. He read his third letter aloud, this one from his mom, and afterwards he offered up his snacks to anyone who wanted them. He gave Cirie and Felicia a beer to go, and he shared more with Jag and Matt who hung around after everyone left. He implied to them he'd put up Felicia and Mecole, still talking his ongoing campaign that Felicia is the influencer and thus, she shouldn't be in jury.Cory was greeted with birthday hugs from Cirie and Felicia, and happy birthdays all around. Cameron started his meetings with Bowie, telling her the same Felicia/Mecole plan with Felicia his target, and he said Bowie should and could trust Jag and Matt (Bowie asked), but not Blue because he said she plays for herself rather than "the team." He then met with Felicia and rehashed the Hisam and Izzy weeks, and he blamed Jared for flipping the Izzy vote. Felicia said her gut told her he's putting her up, and he said she's the "greatest persuader" in there, and "a force to be reckoned with." Felicia said Cirie's the persuader. He asked if he's in finals and Felicia's in jury, would he have her vote, and she said yes. And he wouldn't tell her who he was putting her up with when she asked. America promised her vote to Felicia after hearing her meeting retell. Cirie talked with Cameron in the kitchen before he started formal meetings, saying she'd support whatever he decides to do, and he said she's good. Meetings kind of went on hold, with Cameron saying he'd meet with whoever wanted to but he figured there wasn't much more to be said. Jag did a turban tying tutorial for Bowie, Cameron, Matt. Cameron met with Matt, and then Jag, both of which were just formalities for appearances. He told Jag that Felicia and Mecole knew they'd be his noms "for days" since he'd told America last week, implying whatever she's told gets spread around immediately. Cameron met with Mecole and told her everyone loves her, she'd be safe this week even if his target comes off the block. The backyard opened again, so tomorrow's Exorcist theme veto comp will likely be played in the indoor comp space. Cameron then met with Blue, who said "first and foremost, I don't like you" and he said he knew that and "it's mutual." They acknowledged each was missing their pair now and Blue suddenly cried (or "cried"), and he brought her a roll of TP to blot her tears (or "tears"). Blue ran her anti-America/Cory agenda, and they tentatively agreed to work together since their "interests align" although the timing for their targets differed. Meanwhile Felicia told Mecole that Cameron knew about their F4 with Cory and America, and they talked how they'd been hoodwinked into that, and how Felicia was being blamed for too much, and by people she had trusted. Felicia went back to HOH for a follow-up which was derailed when Cameron wouldn't answer her question about who he trusted. She pitched working with him and he said he wouldn't take that gamble because she was too good at the game and was aligned with too many people. He told her she'd be going up next to Mecole, and he shmoozed her about what a good player she (Felicia) was, and how he didn't want her in the jury house because of her persuasive skills. He apologized for that and for planning to nominate her "but it's the game" and they ended with a hug. Later Felicia said she wasn't mad at him because he was "playing the game" but also said she was "pissed off" about him saying he didn't want her in jury. America's meeting with Cameron was withheld from feeds. Mecole had another pantry pace/rant session about how much everyone lies. Cameron nominated Felicia and Mecole, as announced. Felicia was kind of glaring in the backyard when feeds came back from noms, but she soon joined America and Blue in the hammock to say if she doesn't win veto tomorrow, she'll need four votes. Mecole was back in her pantry, clearly upset at her first nomination but not surprised. Cirie joined her to say she didn't think she was the target, if that helped, and Mecole said Cameron had told her the same. And she too said she'll have to win the veto tomorrow. I have no idea who Cameron would put up as renom if needed, or if he's had a backdoor target all along. He fooled all of them and most of us before, he doesn't have a trusted confidante to talk about his intentions with (not that I trust anyway), and he doesn't talk to us, so we'll just have to wait and see how the veto unfolds. Felicia told Mecole she'd pitched to Cameron that he put Cory up and out if he wanted America for himself, and that he'd gotten upset about that, saying he wouldn't like how that would make him look. Matt and mostly Jag ran their elaborate loops in HOH for future cycles, and I think they tried to get Blue and Bowie in there to discuss that potential foursome. Bowie joined but so did Cameron, so that topic switched. Cameron said if Mecole wins veto, none of them would go up as renom, and he said Blue would be the only option to ensure Felicia goes. Cory came through to take an upstairs shower so topics went more casual. Bowie left to whisper with America, and Cory joined Cameron, Jag, Matt after his shower for some gametalk and banter. He reminded them Jag and Cameron had both been evicted already, adding "you guys are the 18-0 club," and he said Bowie had come up with a new phrase today: "when in doubt, vote Jag out." Felicia continued to stew about her nomination and bull's eye as dinner from the various gift bag meats was prepared with Blue and Cirie. I'm taking the night off and will be back for the veto comp tomorrow. SUBSCRIBE to my Patreon to get these daily recaps in your email box!
