Izzy and Blue talked in the pantry about working together, complete with a hug, which was complete with an Izzy eye-roll. When Izzy left, Blue told us "there has been so many ups and downs already, the tea is brewing, and it's really entertaining.. you really don't know people until they get a position of power." Last night Hisam told Cirie any votes to keep Reilly will be his new targets, still apparently oblivious to himself being the actual new target.Cirie told Jared "everybody has to chime in on everything, leave me alone" (which I can relate to) and Cirie said she was slightly annoyed at Mecole because she didn't want to be seen with her. Cirie, Cory, Izzy, Jared decided to call themselves the Crossroads (Cory's suggestion). Reilly told Jag and Blue that she'd had "defining conversations" with everyone and believed she'll have the votes to stay. Nope. Just before 3pm, Cirie told Reilly and Matt "it's been up and down, but I think it's good right now." Nope again, and welcome to BB. The live show recapped Professors turning on Hisam and flipping the vote, along with Felicia's brother Denzel, and they went into the vote later in the hour than usual. Clearly someone pulled an Asian James-esque heads-up this afternoon because Reilly was evicted 12-0 and there were no shockfaces. There were however Diary Room shoutouts from all 12 as they cast their votes. Stop that. I don't mind that tv-onlies were misled by the edit that left them not realizing the flip had unflipped: that's why we watch feeds. We got to see all the chaos of the three-day flip-a-rama whether the tv-onlies get it or not. The shockfaces eventually came when Julie told Reilly about Cirie and Jared, which also indicates she'll be going home and not into some battle-back sequester zone. The show ended there with a teaser that next week's HOH comp will be the return of Pressure Cooker "with a Scaryverse twist." BB Twitter went nuts with that good news and PRESSURE COOKER trended #3 USA, in caps because that's how we all typed it. We saw the setup for tonight's HOH comp behind the closing credits: Snot-a-Winner with noses all over a playing field. Sounds messy. Feeds came back a little after 10pm and Felicia had won the HOH, the oldest woman to ever do so. She and Jared celebrated as she headed to the shower - the comp was indeed messy. It was mini golf/plinko with points in various rounds. America, Matt, Red ended up Have-nots from the comp somehow, I think, and Felicia will have to select people to get slimed at various times. Izzy volunteered for that. Izzy and Cirie also celebrated, and said noms should be Cameron plus Blue or Jag, with Hisam as a backdoor target if he doesn't play or win veto, and if he does win another veto, Cameron should go. It sounded like Matt made a message for Reilly with Q-tips. America told him to have his moment, let it out, and he did after she left the Have-not room. Hisam was wearing a suit, tie, and wig for his hosting duties, and he'd gone back to his pre-HOH happy voice, rather than the villain of doom tone he took on last week, still apparently unaware the Professors wanted to fire him, the self-appointed dean. Jag apologized at length to Cameron for campaigning for Reilly, and Cameron said it was all okay, part of the game, etc. A late dinner was made and enjoyed, and Felicia smoked up the kitchen so much the feeds went to extended WBRB, possibly for the fire extinguisher to make an appearance. Feeds came back after awhile, the habitat had not burned down, but slimings had started. It seems they'll happen for 24 hours, with Felicia picking who gets slimed, with nobody repeating. I think Felicia gets slimed each time too? Blue and Bowie got it so far, but neither was on feeds. I'll catch up her HOH room, letter etc tomorrow. And/or to watch prior BB USA, Canada, Australia seasons, plus a ton of other shows and movies as well. Day 17 - Friday - August 18, 2023Most of Felicia getting her goodies was blocked from feeds. We did see her extreme joy at getting her seasoned salt and so many of the spices and snacks she'd been asking "Mr Big" to deliver for days. Her music was Fantasia, and her letter was also blocked from feeds but we'll assume it was from her husband and/or son. A sliming happened during that HOH reveal as well, as feeds went back to Felicia alone in her room with a glistening sheen on her as she looked over her basket and re-read her letter to herself on her way to the shower.I assume more slimings happened though the night but I think they were all blocked from feeds. Back in the day, chum baths and the like were on feeds and why not? They aren't likely to put them all on the shows anyway. But like every questionable production decision, there's no point in complaining or asking why because they don't acknowledge or address our distress. Personally, I'm fed up with having those complaints come into my mentions. With the news that Elonx wants to remove the block feature on Twitter, I may toss in that towel and just stick to my site here like the old days. But we'll see how all that shakes out. The plan was still for Cameron/Jag original noms, with Hisam the backdoor target: Cameron because he knew he's still on probation and would fight hard for veto if Hisam plays, plus he'd be the backup target if the Hisam plan falls through, and Jag because he tried to go around just before the vote saying it had flipped again to keep Reilly. Felicia began her meetings and laid out that plan for most, at least the Hisam part, including telling Cameron he'll be pawned in hopes he'll win veto. Of course Cameron wasn't thrilled but he wasn't surprised either, and he told Felicia he's "willing to do what needs to be done." He said he was concerned alarm bells might go off with Red, Hisam, Bowie (Cameron doesn't know about Professors). Felicia told him she'd say she'll put up Matt for renom if those alarm bells do go off, but she definitely won't do that and told Matt as much. Felicia told Red her target was Jag, and she promised veto hosting duties to Red if he isn't picked to play. Jared and Cirie each told Felicia that Matt could be pulled in to their side since Reilly left and he was more or less on his own now. But Matt told Jag, before Jag's meeting, that Hisam's the target, so they might be a bit late on that idea. Cirie also told Felicia that Hisam would try to push for Matt to go up rather than Cameron since Hisam/Cameron/Red remain tight, and Hisam did just that. Felicia shmoozed him good and they ended with a hug, with Hisam saying whatever she decided he'd support her 100%, and he told her "so much power, and you deserve it!" And so on with the rest of them. Everyone was on board with targeting Hisam including Blue (she said Hisam had weaponized queer identity with her) and Jag (he said Hisam had weaponized culture and religion with him). Jag had more questions of course, mainly why him as an initial nominee. Felicia explained Hisam would be suspicious otherwise, and she needed Hisam to remain comfortable. So everyone was told and was in on at least the first phase of the plan, except Red and Hisam. Felicia later told Cameron that she also hadn't told Bowie, but Bowie learned about it last night. Her one-on-one wasn't on feeds (which is its own joke) because a sliming also happened then. Meanwhile, Cirie took her hair down to plan a way to protect it for her sliming. She said that it was fine, she'd come here to participate. Izzy said she hated the mansplaining a few more times, and Jared told Felicia he'd found some poop on the bathroom trash can lid. Neither of them understood that at all, and neither did I. A short audio leak gave us some behind-the-scenes before the noms ceremony, with a staffer giving them directions to move from scary and comics rooms to the table, and giving them mic directions etc - Flashback 8/18 3.37pm BBT. Felicia nominated Cameron and Jag, as carefully planned. Jag was pleased at being in a new alliance (agreed during his one-on-one earlier, to include Felicia, Cirie, Izzy, Jared, Blue, Matt. Jag later suggested the name Debt Collectors to Felicia). Blue reminded Jag he should act sad, so he did, between laughs. He said "anytime I talk to somebody it's gonna be me being a paid actor, that's what I am, that's what we all are now." (That's true for nearly all of them in this current situation, except oops, actors are on strike - SAG/AFTRA actors anyway. I guess these guys are now hamster scabs.) The slimings had ended, six hours ahead of schedule. America and Cirie escaped it, and I think Mecole and Cory did as well, and possibly Red. Everything went according to plan for two and a half hours, pretty good for hamsters. But then Cameron spilled the plan to Red, who Felicia had specifically left in the dark, and he pushed the agenda how this would be a prime opportunity to get rid of Hisam. And he told Red to watch his (former) allies for tells, since he now knows they're lying. Red said he was looking forward to hosting veto even more so he can observe everyone armed with this new intel, but he'd also like to play if picked. Cameron said he couldn't not let Red know, and Red said "that's what you do with a Final Two." Elsewhere, Hisam told Matt he didn't want to play this comp and hoped his name isn't picked to play. And he got a little snippy when BB gave him some mic reminders, and again later when they scolded him for napping. Jag caught a fly and walked around with it in a water bottle and straw air vent. Cory's response to that was "dafuq is wrong with you." Izzy did some BB math about jury votes, and wondered to herself if she could win if she makes it to final three with Cirie and Jared, and if her feelings for/attachment to Cirie were clouding her judgment. She talked to Cirie about it, who of course calmed her down and said all would be fair at that point and none of them would have hard feelings against the others if they get cut. Red asked to talk with Felicia, and they met in the comics room with Cirie and Bowie present. Red did some subtle fishing, and Felicia said Jag was definitely her target and if Red plays and wins veto, he should pull Cameron off the block, and Matt would go up as renom. Red stressed Professors all the way a few times, but said Hisam would have to go sooner or later because of his comp skills. Felicia said what if Hisam goes up and they backdoor him? They remembered Hisam wasn't at the original formation of Professors and was brought in later, and Red said both Hisam and Jag have "rubbed people the wrong way" but sure, he'd be okay with Hisam going now, and on a blindside. Felicia and Cirie got a little excited, and Red said "at this point, he's Professor X." A group chat broke out about sex and dating that had a lot of laughter, and some teasing of flirtmancers Jared/Blue and Cody/America. Cory had one of his lengthy chats to himself/us, saying he still didn't want to win HOH but if he did, he'd put up Bowie and Red. And he said he likes the Crossroads alliance with Izzy, Cirie, Jared, but he added "Izzy's a flawed player" and he hoped she'll be gone before they get to the endgame. He said at that point he'll get closer to Cirie and let her know he's a Survivor's brother. Cirie told Izzy that Cameron was telling Red everything, so she did catch on when (and why) he had his chat with Felicia. Red met with Cameron to retell that chat, and he eventually also told him about Professors alliance and who's in it, to which Cameron replied "I literally was a teacher." Both agreed Hisam needed to go so they decided to go along with the plan, and Red said they'd cycle Cameron into the alliance to take his place. (Cameron initially heard "you're next" as next to be evicted.) Red said they'll "stick with the Professors and a substitute" and Cameron replied "I'm a temp." Red also said Jared was on the outskirts, so he hadn't caught on to everything. The yard opened so the veto comp will be in the indoor arena; Jared and Izzy (plus Blue) continued their sex and dating chat/debate/argument; and Cirie had a few check-in/review rounds. Jared and Blue continued hammocking a long time after that, with snuggling and hand-holding. He told her he has a secret in the house(!) and when telling a childhood story, Blue asked who lived where? Jared said his dad was in Jersey City and his mom in Connecticut(!), then he said he can't be telling her too much or she'll put the pieces together(!) before he went on with the rest of the story.
