My ratings will usually be based on entertainment value, but for now, I'll stick to facts and stats - everyone gets free neutrals until they earn ups or downs

We're starting a month later than usual due to the television writers strike, and the need to fill the fall TV schedule, so we'll run later than usual too: all the way to November 9. That will be Day 100, making this the longest BB USA season ever. We've had a few 99 day seasons in the past, and they were brutal. But finales are usually on Wednesdays and in a few weeks primetime Wednesdays will be filled by Survivor and Amazing Race at 90 minutes each, so we're going that one extra day this time. Let's hope we can make it. I enjoyed the 25th anniversary special more than I expected to, and it was good to see them throw some things in that aren't always included on the air shows, like a Team Ants segment. It's about time they acknowledged the true champions of the franchise. It was a little jarring to see someone else step through the doors onto the stage, but Nischelle Turner did a great job hosting the special. And unlike Julie, whose patter contributed three pre-season goofs to the tally, all the stats in Nischelle's script were accurate. I'd kind of expected to step away from BB by now, but here I still am. Most sites like this have gone the way of the dinosaurs, replaced by podcasts and illegal-but-unregulated feeds clips on every social media site. Feeds affiliates aren't allowed to post videos - nobody is, but we have consequences - and combined with many people keeping Paramount Plus year-round, my feeds signups are not great these days. So I'm more grateful than ever to those of you who support me and this site with donations via Ko-fi or Patreon. She plans to lay low, let them underestimate her, and 'play the kitchen strategy' plus the flirting strategy. And she plans to lie about having an Ivy League degree. She could be one to watch.	Won: TBA HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/0/0 - HN 0   Blue Kim - 25 Recruit - Single Brand strategist New York, NY (orig Riverside, CA) She could be an alternate, her QAs weren't in Diary Room like the others. She plans to job-lie about being a professional strategist, and hopes to play a social game. I'm curious to see her on feeds as her pre-show stuff feels a bit Instagrammy. Hopefully she'll do well. Great hair.
Won: TBA HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/0/0 - HN 0   Bowie Jane Ball - 45 Fan applicant Barrister/DJ Los Angeles, CA (orig Melbourne, Australia) Apparently she was a barrister (courtroom litigator) while DJing, but is now doing the DJ thing full time? Not sure. She won't tell them about the lawyer part, and also says she'll age-lie and say she's 34. Says she's a 'huge fan' and especially loved BB Australia, but she knows this is a whole different game. She wants to be in both big alliances and small ones.	Won: TBA HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/0/0 - HN 0   Cameron Hardin - 34 Fan applicant - Separated, 1 daughter Stay-at-home dad Eastman, GA He claims 'superfan' and has applied several times and gotten callbacks for some of those. He hopes to not win too many comps, and plans to build relationships. And he says he has 'a knack for learning people' - all promising traits for BB. He'll let them know he knows some things but won't confess his level of superfandom - my word, not his, if it even is a word.
Won: TBA HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/0/0 - HN 0   Cirie Fields - 53 Fan applicant? - Married, 3 sons Stats to follow A legendary four-time Survivor player, she was rumored as showing up and when she finally did at the end of the premiere, many exploded with delight. How things will work with son Jared also there remains to be seen. I don't watch Survivor but have heard tales, and I can tell she's a ruthless player when she showed up in the BB kitchen wearing the same outfit she wore to a Traitors post-finale event: she won that show.	Won: Trip to Nether Region HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/0/1 - HN 1   Cory Wurtenberger - 21 Fan applicant College student Weston, FL Brother of Survivor Zach Wurtenberger. CBS says Weston but his video says Fort Lauderdale. He's young and a little cocky, so here's hoping he can back that up. He too claims to be a superfan, and said he'll try to win the first HOH, and otherwise will act helpless as far as life-functions like laundry so he won't seem threatening.
Won: TBA HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/0/1 - HN 0   Felicia Cannon - 63 Fan applicant - Married, 1 son Real estate agent Kennesaw, GA (orig Tacoma, WA) She's the oldest female to play, and the 2nd oldest ever, behind BB10 Jerry. She said she may age-lie and say she's a little younger than she is, and said she won't tell them she's twice-retired (with two pensions.) She knows the importance of building relationships and trust. She seems like a breath of fresh air and someone who will say what's on her mind, and she said she doesn't like clutter or messes, but is expecting them. As she should.	Won: TBA HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/0/0 - HN 1   Hisam Goueli - 45 Fan applicant Geriatric physician Seattle, WA (orig Minneapolis, MN) Sounds like he's a psychiatrist (which is also a physician, so that's technically not a goof). That takes some smarts obviously, and it's always good to have someone in there with medical training for the inevitable injuries. He plans to find a ride-or-die and each of them will form side alliances to play off against each other. Great strategy but could be tricky to put into practice.
Won: TBA HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/0/0 - HN 0   Izzy (Isabel) Gleicher - 32 Fan applicant - Has a girlfriend Professional flutist New York, NY She's new to BB but says she's a 'huge fan', having watched all seasons since January. Let's hope she did good and thorough homework like Taylor did. She says she'll have no life secrets or lies, and plans to start out by observing and lying low. I want to like her - our first classical musician I think? And she's also a visual artist. Yay for creativity! BTW for those asking, both her IG and dot-com use she/her pronouns.	Won: TBA HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/0/0 - HN 0   Jag Bains - 25 Fan applicant Truck company owner Omak, WA He's proud to be the first Sikh Punjabi on the show (the US show anyway - Hira Deol was on Canada's short-lived Season 8). He says he's a huge fan, and knows social game and comp wins when needed are both big factors. He said he'll act a little airheaded and won't tell them he's got a trucking company as well as being a realtor. He plans to tell them he's a substitute teacher and coach, which is true. Busy guy! He might do very well.
Won: TBA HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/0/1 - HN 1   Jared Fields - 25 Fan applicant - Single Exterminator Norwalk, CT Son of Survivor Cirie Fields, but he doesn't plan to tell them that. (Cory may recognize him and vice versa, if they do alum or charity events etc - we'll see.) He says he's a big fan but not quite at superfan level, and that he'll try to 'minimize his presence.' He seems fun and engaging, and I think he'll be good feeds, except I'm very concerned for Team Ants: we've never had a professional exterminator in the cast.	Won: TBA HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/0/1 - HN 0   Kirsten Elwin - 25 Recruit - Single Molecular biologist Houston, TX (orig Orlando FL/Dominica) She immigrated here with her family when she was little and wants to bring it home for them. Canada's had a lot of 1st and 2nd gen hamsters but I think it's kind of rare for the USA franchise. They often have a unique perspective and appreciation of various things so that's something to watch for. She doesn't seem like a huge BB fan but knows the basics. She won't tell them about her brainy science job but will tell them she's a swimsuit designer.
Won: TBA HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/0/0 - HN 1   Luke Valentine - 30 Fan applicant? Illustrator Weston, FL Like Cory, CBS says Weston but Luke's QA says Coral Springs. So we started with two from Weston and end up with zero? Confusing. His big planned lie is he won't tell them he's a Sagittarius. Okay. He's raising a lot of Braden/Jace/Girton red flags but he seems personable and could turn out to be the one to break the problematic surfer mold.	Won: TBA HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/0/0 - HN 0   Matt Klotz - 27 Fan applicant - Single Deaflympics gold medalist Baton Rouge, LA (orig Cameron Park, CA) See Luke: Matt calls himself a 'surfer bro'. I don't know if Deaflympics medalist is a career, but maybe he's a goodwill ambassador for them or similar. He says he's a 'pretty decent fan, watched a couple seasons' but knows he wants to win the first HOH because everyone goes to them to start alliances. He won't tell them he can read lips so that could be very fun for us. I don't know his degree of deafness but he said he's concerned about comps where you have to 'listen a lot.' I'm sure they'll make adjustments to ensure a fair playing field as far as reading them comp rules etc, and hopefully they won't do things like audio trivia to memorize.
Won: TBA HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/0/0 - HN 0   Mecole Hayes - 30 Fan applicant - Newlywed Political consultant Upper Marlboro, MD (orig St Louis, MO) She said she plans to play 'like a politician: gonna shake your hand, kiss your baby, smile in your face, and when you least expect it I'm gonna stab you in the back and take all your money.' Possibly the best answer for this question ever! We'll see if she can pull it off.	Won: TBA HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/0/0 - HN 0   Red Utley - 37 Recruit - Has a girlfriend & new baby Sales Gatlinburg, TN He calls himself a 'chillbilly' and he seems to enjoy playing up the part. I'm expecting a lot of Jasminesque Diary sayings but mostly I'm curious if he'll be a character or a caricature. He said he's watched all the seasons but also said he used to watch the early ones and then just recently came back to BB. And he said he may not admit to being in sales (moonshine maybe?) because salesmen have a reputation of being conniving.

She said she's a 'huge fan' but also said she'll 'bring a certain flavor that's not so commonly seen on here.' Actually she seems very much like several former blond hamsters but hopefully there's more to her than what we've seen. She did say she plans to 'break into her situational awareness' when she gets in the house, and that's a damn solid phrase.
