BB28 finalist prizes are likely the same: $750k for the winner, $75k for 2nd place, $10k for 3rd, $7.5k for 4th, $5k for 5th. Stipend is probably still $1k per week for all except 1st and 2nd place, including pre-season sequester. Vets and stuntcasts likely get more.
The habitat has 94 or 112 HD cameras (depending on source) and 113 microphones.

BB reminded Drew to wash his hands this morning when he came out of the toilet which confused Drew because he already had one foot in the shower, but he went to the sink and washed them anyway. The yard was closed, making them think whatever's coming would be coming today, but apparently it was just maintenance and the yard opened. Dee showed Drew where she hid his hair brush last night, and he showed her where he hid her sunglasses inside, so the prank war came to an end, for now at least. Drew laughed to Dee how three of his four nominations came from his own alliance (and I wonder what doesn't click for him about that). Devens dissed Taylor some more to Dee, asking if she busts out laughing whenever Taylor talks about being on Survivor.
Drew assured Melody she has his vote, and Dee assured Taylor she has hers and that Melody will go. Dee and Taylor agreed Drew would probably take Devens to finals if it's his choice, and that he (Drew) would lose. Dee admitted she probably wouldn't take him to the end, which she's told us. That seemed to surprise Taylor, but they agreed Devens would probably beat any of them.
Drew told Melody she should talk to Dee about the vote and she asked Dee for that talk. Dee put her on hold to eat first, and she told Taylor she'd be having that convo but Melody but not to worry about. Taylor said she gets it, some convos have to be had. Melody told Drew while she waited that she doesn't want to leave, and she was starting to feel panicky about it. Dee and Melody finally sat down to talk and Melody said Taylor's game is "just like the girl that won last year." And she said she'd take Dee to the end even over Drew so a woman wins.
As of early afternoon, there's been no sign of a veto meeting, or pharaoh, or eviction, or anything unusual, even though they were told Thursday night someone would be evicted in three days.

Day 75 - Saturday - September 19, 2026
The yard was open this morning so F5 veto will be something indoors. It could be virtually anything, but I don't think they've done a shuffleboard yet this year? It would be wild to have a chance-ish game at this stage though. Melody did some hoodie maneuvering that made her look momentarily backwards, like a broken Barbie found in the back of a drawer. She chipped a dish washing it and she apologized to BB, It cut or scraped her hand so she hit the pantry first aid box, but it didn't seem serious. She and Drew did some of their back and forth bicker-bantering and speculated about the veto, and Dee and Devens did some of their back and forth gloat-bragging, with a lot of general chat from both pairs as well. Taylor stayed in her room, either asleep or just avoiding the duos. One of the more creative camera operators entertained us - me anyway - with fun, artsy shots of various items and areas.
Feeds went to adoptable anipals a little after noon for the veto comp and returned three hours later. Drew was in a must-win situation and he did. The comp had different sections, and running, and dragging a heavy mummy around while avoiding obstacles. It sounded similar to the Bad Guys 2 movie promo veto last year that used lasers. Drew said he completed whatever it was in six minutes, "with no finesse." They were dressed in tomb raider outfits (old movie type, not Lara Croft) and they all looked good in them. Devens apologized to Drew for putting him up and said now he's stress free, and Drew sounded like he didn't have hard feelings. (Drew might not realize he actually was the target.) Devens also did a cutthroat gesture to Drew and implied he might renom Dee, saying "might be our last chance." Maybe it's something, maybe it's nothing.
Dee asked Devens in a joking kind of tone if he's putting her up, and he said of course not, they're solid to the end. And Devens told Taylor she probably knows he has to put her up now, she said she understands that, and he added she'll be safe, he wants Melody gone and so does Dee, and "I hope the pharaoh doesn't mess anything up." Melody sat alone outside for awhile, then went to her pod bed to sniffle, then she got up again and joined the others outside. The rest of the afternoon was mostly relaxed, with Drew talking nonstop at Devens. They all compared their comp technique and it was pretty much agreed by all that the mummy they had to cart around was way too heavy especially for the women. Most comps this time have been relatively equitable but sooner or later, BB's gonna BB.
Melody went back to her sad, mad, bad mood so Drew heaved her onto his lap like a big floppy ragdoll, then held her like a baby, with occasional staring into each other's eyes, then acted like he was nursing her? I don't know, it was weird. Devens came out and looked over at them, did a startled double-take, turned around and went back inside.

Taylor made chicken, spaghetti, meatballs and everyone enjoyed it outside except Melody, who cried undercovers in her pod bunk. Dee hid Drew's hair brush and there was a lot of joking about his brush always going "missing" this season, and he threatened a hiding prank war. Dee hid a lot of her own stuff so he couldn't find it, as he took her bed apart and hid her mattress in Have-not room, and spelled out RIP in M&Ms on her box springs. Devens said he'd hide in HOH to avoid involvement in all that, but then announced "CAKE PARTY!" and shared some of his multiple HOH cakes. Taylor did a lengthy series of her sorority stepdance routines for her homecoming soon after BB winds up, followed by a history lesson for us of African American Greek fraternities and sororities at HBCUs.
They expect veto meeting and eviction tomorrow. I think it might be like Keanu's voodoo doll eviction last year, with no Julie or audience. That one happened on the Monday. Maybe they'll put a mummy into the sarcophagus of who they want the pharaoh's curse to kill, or maybe they'll do voodoo mummies and stick a pin in it.

Yash Patel - 24

4th juror - 12th evicted - Day 73
His early Yashcans fanbase gradually grew until most out here liked him, and many in there as well. He came up with a lot of quotes for his Book of Yash, and he nurtured his skullet until it was perfect. He was no slouch with comps, and he put up Dee and Angela three weeks before Barrett put up all three, but Devens' diamond veto overruled his noms so he hasn't gotten proper credit for that. He turned down Dee's $5k bribe once but accepted later, and then threw a few HOH comps to avoid everyone learning about his end of that bargain. He took an iffy deal from Drew to end the 13-hour endurance veto, and then Drew's swing vote got him out the next week. He distressed some with his conservative dating and marriage views but he didn't press them for others, and he often solicited emojis from his future wife. He was tight with Taylor, usually cheerful, and he was fun to have on feeds.

He was the first from BB Bluesky community on the show and his hilarious, thoughtful BB27 posts implied he'd be a fun hamster. And he was, but he kept a low profile for the first weeks, while establishing friendships and giving frequent long hugs or cuddles. He was tight with Devens and especially Dee, and he knew he wasn't their top priority but he rode along and helped carry out their agendas. Then Dee targeted Drew, also in their core group, and then she shifted that target to Mallory to get Barrett's full attention back. He earned his hall of fame spot next to Jessica Milagros by putting up all three vets together, and Dee shunned him for days, including his birthday. He was well liked by virtually all of them, and they often said how good he smells. He gave me a couple shoutouts and he even described this site to Deven one day - thank you, my bloomf!

2nd juror - 10th evicted - Day 66
She was a little less messy, but she didn't start off with sleep-deprived ranting on the stairs this time. Maybe because of that she was better liked in there this time, which helped her state of mind, and who she liked and who didn't like her was once again the basis of her gameplay. She was an egg for a week, often hilariously, but she complained a lot about it, and she won a Block Buster thanks to Tucker's technique of covering one of the fan vents in the flying balls booth. She once again talked more than she listened, mostly about herself, her life, her moods, her joys, her problems, hubby Chuck's chore list, and game-wise she mostly did what Dee told her. She was volatile and/or performative and was involved in a majority of the fights, many of them at ceremonies guaranteed to be on the episodes. She'll probably be on TV again, and again.

She won the wall comp at 58 years old and it wasn't a ten-minute one, and she won a physical veto - yes booty-scooty and tonguing a stick is physical. One night early season, several were loud and woke her up and her rant about that, mostly to herself and us, was hilarious, as were her rants about them being slobs. But unfortunately that resulted in people telling her how to behave, with some microaggressions included. She cooked and cleaned for them all, which most took for granted. She tried to incite a rookies revolution against the three vets but it failed because suck-ups kept sucking up, but it finally kicked in the day after her eviction when Barrett put all three on the block. She cried a lot but usually with cause, and she was equally fun and lively, and I wish her only the best.

Haley Thogmartin - 29

Telemedicine exec Wildwood, MO (orig Neosho, MO)
8th evicted - Day 52/53
She was in no danger for weeks but continually complained about what a rough time she had. Then she got blindsided on her HOH in Week 4, and went from there to the block, but she won the Block Buster and saved herself. Still complaining. She was extremely self-centered, and said people were scared of her and her tattoos, and she was a total malcontent most of the time. Things actually did get bad when she lost one medieval mini comp after another and was eliminated without a vote. That was wrong when it was Rachel and it's still wrong, but the reaction wasn't so loud for Haley. She made a lot of rude comments, especially about LaLa, and she had a number of victim-offs with Angela but they ended up mostly friendly. She's keeping face mask and cheek flap makers in business.

7th evicted - Day 52
She was the latest to fill the 'quirky girl' casting slot and she did it well. She won the first veto, saving herself and earning the nickname Pipe Queen which stuck, thanks to Devens who couldn't remember her name at the time, and she saved herself again with the Blockbuster Block Buster. She didn't do much else game-wise, but she won a Time Capsule vote and ended up being Eve for a couple days with Melody. She cried, moped, hibernated, and threw tantrums when things didn't go her way but she was a good activities director. She planned the infamous tea party that made tea kettles Jason's weapon of choice, and she took big groups on imaginative but loud and screamy bus tours and plane rides. Her train ride has been postponed indefinitely.

I haven't given anyone a premature empty wheel for a few seasons but this guy got one for being generally despicable and not saying anything I wanted to hear. Unfortunately for me, he was pretty good at playing the game of BB so I had to pay a little attention, but I'm glad he went out pre-jury and I never have to hear from him again, or look at his scalloped-edge underwire tattoos.

Supply chain analyst Dallas, TX
5th evicted - Day 38
He said he left for the show before learning if his time-off request at work was approved or not, and that he learned about BB from ChatGPT. He was mostly an NPC for the first weeks, a non-playing character who was randomly activated to say some lines which were generally out of context, and often completely non-sensical. He usually didn't know what was going on around him, but that gave us a bonus of multiple shockfaces. He was tight with Haley and Kamu but nobody else, and when Kamu jumped off that sinking ship, Chuk was stapled to Haley. That's about all there is to say. He'll probably get other shows, and get called back here for all-stars.

4th evicted - Day 31
She started out a two-trick pony between her dad's 80s hit and her education credentials, but she soon branched out to showmancer deluxe. She and Rome got into it faster than most and were smackier than some, but it didn't last long before she was on her own. She might have been a good player but she promised too much to too many and when those notes were compared, she was toast. She won the bowlerina-esque veto to save herself, and her eviction ended up being a pivotal moment and game-changer, but not because of anything she did. She was fun when she got goony and I found her mostly likeable, especially when she talked normally, but the babygirl voice got her results more than it should have.

3rd evicted - Day 24
He wasn't grouped with the other reality vets and he downplayed Salina's celebrity, and I respect that he did this as Jason without the built-in advantages of being a known entity. But he messed up the first week when he announced he wanted to go after those three, and it got back to them while they were in power. He compounded that when he admitted to several that his sincere-sounding bond with Angela was fake, and that got back to her. But it all resulted in a hilariously explosive noms ceremony, and he topped that with his teakettle-clanging after Kamu attacked him at Mallory's tea party. Yes he was a messy bitch but he was also genuine, vulnerable, funny, and easily my star of the season.

If you took all the brojock buffoons we've ever had and rolled them into one, you'd get a cartoon character named Jack who decided he'd rather be called Rome. He fell fast and hard for Lyric and maybe she did for him too, and he cry-sobbed for hours with no tears. He acted like he thought he was the star of the show, but his early exit indicates otherwise.

She was an NPC at first, but many always are in the first days. She tried to get in the game when she went on the block as a renom but it was too late and she did it badly, so she's now a charter member of the not-so-illustrious first evicted club. She said she'd never had a hamburger before (how is that possible?) but now she has, so her time here wasn't a total loss.

Eliminated via volcano - Day 1
She came in dramatically after (almost) everyone else again, dressed in red again, but this time she was there for a stunt. We've had a couple other fake move-ins before - think Anthony Scaramucci on Celebs 2 or human Ainsley (Cosette Rinab) on BB26. Rachel had people going and thinking she was there as a player but no: 175 million years ago, a dinosaur carried her off and threw her into a volcano before she even got to play a comp or invent a new catchphrase.

@drunkenough.bsky.social: How can Devens and Dee gloat when they know they were handed every advantage in the book? I'd feel some shame about that success and I certainly wouldn't feel empowered to drag others behind their backs. It's like boasting about your medal after the steroid test comes back positive.
Melody to Taylor: I assume you're the renom? [both laughed]
Drew: Heavy is the crown that holds it
Taylor: Are you America's Player? They said give Drew a bad haircut and we'll give you $5,000 bitch!
Melody: I fucking wish! Bro I wish, I did that shit for free
