She ratted out Drew to Kamu, saying he's trying to go against them and keep Mallory, and she said Drew knows about Red Corner and is coming for them. Kamu was shocked, asking if Drew actually said the name Red Corner? Angela was adamant he did, which she changed to "I think he did" to "I'm pretty sure" to "I don't know, maybe he didn't, maybe it was me." Apparently she just can't help herself and has to create mess on a regular basis. Meanwhile she keeps retelling BB26, heavily revised in her favor, like war stories to be celebrated. But really she just keeps informing them how she doesn't stick with her allies. Fallout and retells picked up this morning, with the plan to keep Jason or Mallory being pushed by some and pushed against by others, and a very lot of finger-pointing going on. Jason and Barrett had a nice non-game convo with Haley next to them, silent. When she finally left, Jason said he wants her "bob to fly off." The plan to evict Mallory instead of LaLa lost some steam, with Yash telling Barrett it's too soon. Melody and Mallory reeled in their save Jason campaign a bit by telling each other they don't want to "damage their relationship" with the other side. (The relationship that keeps landing them on the block, I guess?) Angela and Devens had a chat about tipping delivery drivers and tipping in general, reminding us of that pre-season fiasco. Kamu, Devens, Haley checked in about Drew being sketchy, playing too hard, and knowing about their Red Corner. Angela joined them and doubled down, her anti-Drew feelings have become their own character. Kamu's HOH laundry came back and he actually wore a shirt for awhile. Mallory made a campaign pitch to Dee, saying she wants to work with her, and she promised not to nominate Dee if she wins HOH. Dee reminded her she remembers putting Mallory on the block a couple weeks ago. She continued her pleasant and subtle (but raging) condescension by saying "the house is a little bit divided, I don't know if you've been hearing?" Mallory said she has. Counting her votes, Mallory included Dee's and Angela's. Mallory acknowledged being the first HOH and having to nominate immediately was hard, and Dee said "worst week of my life." (I already withdraw the "subtle" part describing her condescensing style.)More later If you missed what came before, click 'previous Hamsterwatch episode' up top and/or use my season directory. Day 21 - Monday - July 27, 2026Fallout from the tea party massacre continued last night, as Jason did pots and pans spoon and tea kettle around the house, saying he'll spill all the tea tomorrow (today). Drew did some pre-emptive damage control by telling Kamu about the Court Jesters trio of Drew, Jason, Melody. This morning Jason donned glitter sunglasses and carried his tea kettle around with him. He banged it with a spoon as he went upstairs to the gym, pausing at the HOH door to holler "Kamu, they're whispering, they're talking game!" Working out, he told himself/us he'll call Kamu girl, or queen, adding "he's gonna hate that so much!" Others gossiped and whispered as they waited for the veto meeting when Jason will replace Lyric. Kamu asked Chuk if he's "heard any bad things about the tea party?" Chuk said no, and said Kamu spoke well and didn't mumble his words. (It's possible Chuk really hasn't heard any bad things about it, but they are certainly being said by some.) Jason's shenanigans escalated as the veto meeting neared. He put teabags on everyone's beds, and he marched around the yard and house hitting his teakettle, hollering that this pair or that trio were strategizing. Haley grew increasingly angry about it and said "I'm gonna fuckin lose it if he does that shit around my head again." (He did it again, and she didn't do anything.) When Kamu was in Diary, Jason clanged his teakettle and hollered at the door "KAMU! I GOT A LOT OF TEA ABOUT EVERYONE WHEN YOU'RE DONE IN THERE!" It was hilarious. When Kamu came out, Jason reported various strategizing people and called him Queen Kamu, queen of the tea party. To be fair, Kamu took it well, or at least he appeared to.Lyric took herself off the block and Kamu put up Jason in her place, as maliciously planned. The anti-Drew and Barrett campaign picked up a little more steam as Dee and Devens agreed to boot Mallory if she's on the block against LaLa, who Devens kept calling LuLu. And Devens boosted up Kamu in HOH, which Kamu ate up like it was M&Ms. Since all the renom follies happened before the veto meeting, it was a painfully slow afternoon. High points were another Melody phone call to her mom, and a cucumber spa in the bathroom. Taylor ran her tethers past Kamu again, and pitched that they form a trio alliance with Devens. Melody, Mallory, Barrett, Yash, Lyric met to discuss going renegade and saving Jason. It sounded like a good plan on paper, or at least the start of one, but it felt kind of shaky due to the number of two-timers on the roster, and especially as it's only Monday. Sure enough, not even an hour passed before Barrett spilled it to Dee. But the plan wasn't dead yet, and Yash of all people tried to rally for it to various of them, but again, it's only Monday. The selfie camera came out and the smiling posers posed like they're a big happy perfect family. Angela started singing the blues again for that, and most of them joined in. Eventually they did skits and a lot of them gathered together to watch them and laugh, and have fun. They could do skits and play games any time but they don't: it's like they need a screen to have fun.If you missed what came before, click 'previous Hamsterwatch episode' up top and/or use my season directory.
