Daily Feeds RecapsDay 1 - Tuesday - July 7, 2026They did the thing this morning, the big broveal, on Youtube. It's linked for you in Links of the Day down below. And they clarified in the cast press release that the "limited" Youtube feed would indeed be after every episode, regular and Unlocked, so the timezone questions I posed yesterday stand. Julie did the house tour and then they went right to the 14 new hamsters with their job interview/first date perky voices and aspirations to impress. As always, I try not to put too much stock in this stuff because again, job interview/first date personas - when the feeds get underway we see a truer picture of who they are. And we sometimes see how they react to not being the only spotlight in the room which most are used to being, and instead they're now just one of many spotlights. That's a whole new life experience for some of them, and one of the more fascinating aspects of all this, for me. A little later Dalton Ross announced Survivor Rick Devens would be on the show, and Sharon Tharp announced Angela Murray would be back again. We're still missing one who's been as heavily rumored as those two, but they haven't been confirmed by any official sources yet, so I'm not saying who it is out loud until then, even if everyone knows. (Insert OTT Jason Roy "everyone knows" gif here.) By the way, confirmed and official are in italics because apparently A LOT OF PEOPLE need a refresher course in what those words mean, and more importantly, what they don't mean. Also today, the hamsters moved in to begin their summer ordeal which will be life-changing for most of them in ways these sweet summer children can't even fathom yet. If and when I get info about the premiere, twists, HOH, noms, and the rest that I'm allowed to share, I will. Meanwhile, continue to train for our annual marathon which is going to start soon. Pre-season continued - July 6, 2026Pre-season still but not for long, for tomorrow is Day 1 of our new season.We're almost there, Hamsterwatchers. Tomorrow they move in and we'll find out who they are - We're almost there, Hamsterwatchers. Tomorrow we'll get the cast - maybe all of them or maybe just the rookies, I don't know, but I'm Team Rookies all the way this season so I'm looking forward to seeing what we have to work with. I'm expecting thirteen (or fourteen) rookies, one BB vet, and three (or two) from other Paramount shows. That's not an official roster and it's subject to change, of course.  Today they announced the cast reveal is being called Broveal (what is wrong with them?!), and they said video intros will be exclusively on their newly revamped Youtube channel, along with Julie's house tour, starting at 9am PT/noon ET on Tuesday. I've since learned RuPaul's Drag Race does their cast reveals on Youtube and calls them Queen Ruveals, so maybe it's a corporate strategy to associate all their reality properties together. Either way, Broveal just stinks of brojocks and meathead alliances and not too many people out here seemed to like it much. And they announced that feeds will run on that Youtube channel "for limited periods after each episode throughout the summer," starting this Friday at 6pm PT/9pm ET after the first Unlocked. That will be interesting, especially on live Thursdays, when feeds often haven't come back after the shows for many hours in recent seasons. Plus it sounds like westies will have to juggle episodes with feeds, which is always a challenge, especially on Thursdays. Maybe the Youtube feed will only be after Unlocked episodes, but Mike Bloom of RHAP and Parade implied it'd be after Unlocked as well as the regular episodes. Today's press release stressed that feeds will remain on Paramount Plus and Pluto TV as always. They said "24/7" but we know that part's a fib. So stock up the pantry and freezer, catch up what you've put off, rest up, and be ready to roll Tuesday morning when we find out who we'll be spending the next few months with.
