This site is about the Big Brother 25 feeds and contains spoilers! It isn't necessarily thorough: it's what I catch and/or what interests me. It's about watching hamsters: who's doing what and why. Thanks for encouraging my behavior.

Day 83 - Monday - October 23, 2023

These hamsters came in hot again this morning with a very lot of maneuvering so let me try to capsulize the main points. Felicia sat down with Matt and he told her "Blue might need to be the target," with the Reason being her better comp abilities. He added that he wasn't trying to be like Hisam or Cameron, telling people how to vote. Felicia didn't push back on that, but she did say Cirie wanted Matt and Jag to do her dirty work for her, so be careful. Cirie started a quiet campaign to save Blue, by telling various of them that Cory might have told America to lay low in this week's comps to reduce the target on herself, especially regarding question comps, and she pointed out that the double HOH comp would likely be questions because it has to be fast. She said several times that would be "genius advice, but [Cory]'s a genius." Matt told Cirie he'd take a shot at Jag if he wins the F4 HOH, adding "the TV's gonna be shocked," meaning the viewers. He had himself, Cirie, Felicia, Jag in that F4 scenario. Cirie talked as if America would be there after the double, and Matt didn't question that.

Matt reported to Jag that Cirie said she thought America would be the only one to take a shot against them in the double. Jag asked if Cirie suggested they keep Blue? Matt said no, she'd been talking next week. Matt also told Jag that Bowie suggested America threw this week's comps to reduce the target on herself (Cirie's pitch) but Jag said he was sure America didn't throw the veto. Cirie checked in with Blue and told her not to mention anything to Bowie about going after Matt and Jag. Blue pitched to Felicia, saying she felt she was closer to her (Felicia) than Cirie, but she wanted to stay and help get the three of them to the end.

Jag did not use his veto, but the waffling over booting Blue or America had already started before the veto meeting. Since there was limited time for those convos, Matt still hadn't talked to Cirie about Felicia's anti-Cirie campaign of the last couple days, that I'm aware of. Matt and Jag lit the grill for lunch without incident, the clanking contraption probably figuring there was more than enough chaos already, so it could take its time before toasting any hamsters. Campaigning started up, with Blue pitching to Bowie, who retold to Matt and then Jag. Cirie told Felicia "told you" about Blue being the target. Felicia said Blue thought she had their votes and asked what they should do. Cirie said "let Jag break a tie and get the blood on his hands," rather than their own, mentioning jury management. She then said "if [Jag] wants it that bad, then do it." And then she added "unless you don't care about our game and you just care about your own" which made me think she knew Felicia had been getting up to things behind her back. Matt told Cirie and Felicia he'll vote out Blue, and then Matt and Cirie ran double eviction scenarios as if America would still be there.

Both Blue and America started their campaign pitches to various people. Jag and Matt wanted to secretly crack open stashed beers and Jag's HOH cider, and they over-complicated who to share it with and when, like they do. Eventually Jag decided to ask everyone what color turban to change into to wear with his grilling apron and he dropped hints to Bowie and America to go to HOH. They did, and they each got some booze. Felicia and Cirie were watching people going upstairs and getting a little perturbed about the guys not starting to grill the chicken, but upstairs the guys said they shouldn't be drinking and grilling, adding "Felicia can do it." Felicia did fire up the grill, Bowie went back to HOH to let the guys know that, and when she told Felicia that America was up there campaigning, Felicia said "I ain't mad but you guys said you wanted to cook." The guys finally made it to the backyard and gathered around the grill where Felicia was doing the chicken, and they tried to troubleshoot as a trio why it wasn't as hot as yesterday.

Felicia later told Jag and Matt that she'd asked America who she'd want to sit with at F2 and she didn't answer, which Felicia said made her believe that would be Cirie. (America did tell Felicia she'd want to go to F3 with her and Cirie.) Later Felicia said to herself/us "Cirie, you ain't gettin to no final three."

Everything seemed pretty set for Blue to go first on Thursday, with most everyone knowing that except Blue, but waffling and pitches and rehashes are going to be a lot. I have a few other commitments this week, so I need to beg off for a couple days. I'll be back for the double eviction Thursday.

Day 84 - Tuesday - October 24, 2023

A quick check-in/update: Felicia became the latest peeking-into-the-HOH meme when she ding-donged this morning to drag Cirie some more. It was nearly 10.30am and Felicia gets up much earlier than that, so I'd guess she worked up her pitch for a few hours before finally venturing upstairs to spill it. She woke up Jag saying "I gotta talk to you about some shit" and she waited as he visited the bathroom. Then she dove right in saying "Cirie told me last night her and Matt were talking about the best time to take you out," if that should be in the double or when they're at five. I think most of this anti-Cirie campaign from Felicia is backfiring onto her, but she probably thinks it's being effective so she's still rolling with it. You have to laugh.

I didn't watch much today but I'm pretty sure not much happened that hasn't been happening for awhile, meaning a lot of scenario-running for the double and next week, and Blue continuing to mistakenly think she'll be staying. And they did some socializing which included telling and grading each other's improv stories. But later, Matt finally told Cirie how Felicia's been dragging her to him and Jag. They went to HOH to talk things over with Jag, and they fell into side tangents about whether Thursday's vote should be unanimous or a tie for Jag to break. Cirie said Felicia was the one pushing for a tie. And they talked about whether Blue should be warned tomorrow she's going or not. Matt was against that idea because Blue would amp up her campaigning and he didn't want to deal with that. (He and Bowie have both expressed fatigue with nominee campaigning, when neither has had to do it, yet.) Cirie was also against that because it would be fruitless for Blue. (And likely also because Jag breaking a tie to send out Blue would be a strike against him at finals.)

Day 85 - Wednesday - October 25, 2023

There wasn't much waffling this Wednesday as Blue going first in tomorrow's double was a foregone conclusion, but buzzing about what to do for the second eviction, and the one after that, didn't let up, as they kept cycling through every option and possibility depending who was talking to whom. Bowie told Cirie that Felicia said she (Cirie) wanted the guys gone, and that she wanted a split vote tomorrow, and she said Felicia was basically twisting Cirie's words all over town. Felicia sat down with Matt and Jag as they had a scramble room cuddle session, to spin and spiral some more. She suggested Jag wait until tomorrow to tell Blue she's a goner. Most out here were waiting for a Cirie vs Felicia showdown, but they remained cordial to each other face-to-face, as if they were still solid with each other.

Blue's paranoia kicked in and she started spiraling and unspooling at various of them, including Jag. Felicia told Cirie she'd tell Jag she was either going to give Blue her vote and let Jag break a tie if there was one, or she'd tell Blue she was going. She then went right to Jag with that and told him to choose which he preferred. He told Felicia to vote to keep Blue rather than telling her she was going, but to wait to do that til tomorrow. He pointedly avoided looking at Felicia for that convo. (Recall that after the veto comp, Jag told Matt they'd tell Blue she'd be leaving after the veto meeting, but they didn't do that, and now we're here.) Felicia later backtracked today's project, and she told Jag and Cirie she'll just "stick with the plan" and vote out Blue after all, for a 4-0 vote.

2nd juror - 9th evicted - Day 79

He came in expecting to win without breaking a sweat, but he didn't count on others playing the game, and he went out with less than impressive stats. He said he'd downplay his BB scholar status but didn't. He was in gamebot mode 24/7 until he hooked up with America, and then he split his time between gaming and making out with her. That split focus may have caused him to let his guard down enough that he didn't realize they'd become everyone's target. He had a birthday, a makeover, and grew a mustache. He might have done better if he was a little older with some more life experience. His gametalk wore me out but I usually enjoyed his dry humor.

Won: Europe trip; 1 week 5 days piggy suit; 2000 cups of dirt with Izzy; 1 week post-eviction zombie; Zombie advantage; Day 58 revival; Movie screening with 3 guests

HOH 3 - Veto 2 - Noms 3/2/0 - HN 0

34 - Applicant - Separated, 1 daughter
Stay-at-home dad - Eastman, GA

1st juror - 8th evicted - Day 72

Comp beast yes, but his social game was a disaster. He never tired of reminding them he was on the block or HOH every week, which didn't help reduce his target. He had two modes: cocky winner or gloomy loser, the former resulting in lengthy How To Play BB lectures that were transparently self-serving. He had peculiar attitudes towards/about both Reilly and America, and the only tight bond he formed was with Red. His lack of self-awareness was never more apparent than when he said 'Cory always has to be the smartest person in a room' - somebody buy this man a mirror.

Won: Dinner with 3 guests

HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 1/0/0 - HN 1

30 - Applicant - Newlywed
Political consultant - Upper Marlboro, MD

7th evicted - Day 65

She laid low at the start, which can be good strategy, but then she stayed low throughout the middle game, which is not. She was a charter member of Professors but didn't adapt when it fell apart, and while she was well-liked by all, she didn't form strong bonds on the side like her fellow Brown Sugar Babes did. She put more effort into making her teacher job-lie convincing than she did in her BB game, but her semi-regular rants about the overall stupidity of everyone and the season made her a star for Team Fun Feeds.

Won: Netherland Day 9; 1 week post-eviction zombie

HOH 2 - Veto 1 - Noms 1/0/1 - HN 2

25 - Applicant/stuntcast - Single
Exterminator - Norwalk, CT

6th evicted - Day 58

Izzy could have ratted out his and Cirie's secret and didn't, but Jared mucked up a built-in advantage by continually doing and saying way too much. He hooked up with Blue and spilled his secret to her, but neglected to tell Cirie he had. His relationships with Blue and/or his (ex?) girlfriend are none of my business, but it was an ongoing and interesting side story. He got a free bonus week after he was evicted but failed to make it work for him. His and Cirie's mother-and-son moments were sweet and pure, and that's rare on any season.

Won: 1 week 5 days piggy suit; 2000 cups of dirt with Cameron

HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 1/0/0 - HN 2

32 - Applicant - Has a girlfriend
Flutist - New York, NY

5th evicted - Day 44

She clocked Cirie and Jared in a minute, and she quickly went from being a Cirie fan to a devoted ally and surrogate daughter. She made no secret of it and that didn't go unnoticed. She was often manic, chaotic, and cracked, and her animated conversations and limitless facial expressions became their own side game. She later calmed down under Cirie's mentorship and they drove the first half of the game, not always to their benefit. She was a never-a-dull-moment hamster and that's always good for fun feeds.

Won: 1 year P+ and home theater

HOH 0 - Veto 1 - Noms 1/0/0 - HN 1

37 38 - Recruit - Has a girlfriend, 3 kids
Sales/TikTokker - Gatlinburg, TN

4th evicted - Day 37

He was a caricature of himself on the episodes but he was more genuine on feeds. His and Cameron's bromance was like some over-countrified afterschool special and when they broke up, the tinkly piano shifted to a broken banjo string twang. He said some inappropriate things, he provided baked goods, and he was a good sport about his birthday roast. He was a victim of the heavily layered and interwoven alliance mess, so this feller had to skedaddle back to hawkin' moonshine in Gatlinburg.

Won: Nothing

HOH 1 - Veto 2 - Noms 0/1/0 - HN 1

45 - Applicant - Divorced
Geriatric physician/burlesquer - Seattle, WA

3rd evicted - Day 23

He painted a target on himself by winning the first two vetos and the second HOH, and he knew that. He started out fun and lively but he got HOHitis so bad his own alliance orchestrated a blindside plan to put him up and out. His campaign pitches were painful, right? As he gave marathon speeches, right? In his soft breathy voice, right? To anyone he could corner for an hour, right? He was a superb comp host and game show emcee for one of the few group activities they did.

Won: Nothing

HOH 1 - Veto 0 - Noms 1/0/0 - HN 0

24 - Recruit - Single
Bartender - Nashville, TN

2nd evicted - Day 16

Four people were already nominated when she won the first HOH and all she had to do was remove two. She spent most of the first days repeating she wanted an alliance of eight, which she eventually pulled together, with F2, F3, F4 along the way. She had it made but then found out everyone else knew about her eight and she spent the rest of her HOH week in tears. Then she hit the block and campaigned poorly, but at least she went out fighting.

Won: Nothing

HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/0/1 - HN 0

25 - Recruit - Single
Molecular biologist - Houston, TX

1st evicted - Day 9

She was on the block when she started to pitch and double-dip, and you can't blame her for that. Being new to BB, that's what she'd seen on the shows, and most everyone else started doing the same thing right away anyway. But Kirsten became an easy scapegoat since she wasn't in their inner power circles. She would have been good feeds: she planned a scorching nominee speech, but then opted to go out classy and didn't use it.

Won: Nothing

HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/0/0 - HN 1

30 - Survivor applicant - Single
Illustrator - Coral Springs, FL

Ejected Day 8

Between hamsters thinking he was a secret doctor and feedsters thinking he was a secret twin, his week was full of unintentional comedy. He added to that by not knowing the show or that the game had started without him, then he worked hard to join the game in progress, with no success. Then he dropped the n-word, and then he was gone.

GAME TWISTS

Week 1 BB Multiverse
-Losers of four move-in comps went on the block, and HOH Reilly saved two.

Week 2 Nether Region
-Inconsistent and vague. Individuals were sent to Nether Region for varying lengths of time, receiving 'something good or bad' and selecting the next one to go.
-Roster of who went and for how long is in the Extracurricular Items tally.

Week 4 Invincibility Power
-Viewers voted four to secretly compete for the power, which gave the winner the option to save the Week 4 or Week 5 evictee.
-Cirie, Cory, Jag, Matt competed, Matt won, and secretly used it to cancel Jag's eviction at the end of Week 4.

Week 8 Scary Week: Zombies
-No HOH, noms, or veto.
-Cameron, Jared were evicted on Day 51 double eviction, then sent back into the house as zombies.
-They did a 3-part comp and Cameron won the option to play or pass a live challenge.
-Cameron did the challenge, completed it, and was revived. Jared was evicted again.

Week 11 Comic Week
-Power of Invisibility: HOH's identity was secret, unless they chose to share. Jag won and eventually told everyone. He was allowed to play for the following HOH (which he won).
-Power of Multiplicity: There were two veto comps with two veto winners. Jag won the first, and Blue the second.
