Daily Feeds Recaps

Day 39 - Saturday - September 9, 2023

Jag, Jared, Matt were picked to play veto with Cameron, Felicia, Izzy. Cameron told Jared that Felicia had just been "walking circles" around things she'd already told him about the vote blindside, which he knew weren't true. And he said Cirie goes up to HOH to say she loves Cameron and what does he want to do? Cameron said (to Jared/about Cirie) "what I want to do is tell you to shut up right now." Jared had a pantry check-in with Cirie to say he was pretty sure she was Cameron's target, and he said Jag would probably take down Izzy if he won veto. And he said most expected America to be renom if needed and nobody was expecting Cirie except him and Matt, who "kinda knows," adding he didn't think Cameron had confided in Matt as much as he had in Jared. In puppymance news, yesterday America told Blue that she and Cory had engaged in some "OTP, over the pants" activity but they still hadn't kissed. It's still unclear what they did last night that had them talking about his boundaries and "screenshots everywhere" or if whatever that's about would qualify for the sex events tally. We're in uncharted territory here, hamsterwatchers.

Feeds went to adoptable anipals early, just before 10.30am, and returned around 3.30pm. Jared won the veto and told Blue he won't use it (if he does, Cirie would likely go up and out), and he later told Jag the same after cycling through options. Later still, Jared gave some shoutouts while alone, including his IRL girlfriend: "Kenzo baby, I love you." Josh Duhamel participated and the comp was called Buddy Ball, which sounded like it was based on his new game show Buddy Games, and it sounded similar to Bowlerina, but there were no tutus. There was spinning involved and talk about being unable to control where balls went. Several had headaches and they got ginger candies to settle their tummies. They also passed prizes and "prizes" that landed as follows: Jag got $5,000, Cameron got a Europe trip for two, Matt got one week Duhamel-a-maniac which will involve periodic selfies (maybe with a Josh cardboard cutout?), Felicia got 48-hour tandem kayak costume with Cirie, and Izzy got Piggie Pals tandem with Cameron to "dig in the dirt." I'm not positive but I think they have to dig 12 hours but wear piggie suits for a week, and if they fail one or both can't play for next week's veto.

Blue made a new slopcoction that everyone loved, proclaiming it "delicious" and "good af." Felicia and Cirie got their kayak and related suits around 7pm. They had all the gear including life vests and helmets, and to move around they both had to step into/through the kayak and carry it around while paddling their paddles. They had a little trouble getting started but eventually made it to the bathroom. Cameron pitched a new multi-part plan to Jared. Step 1 was to tell everyone he's not using veto, and "Felicia will lose her fuckin mind.. let her lose her mind, let her go down a spiral hole"; Step 2 was to take Felicia down, and she'd be so grateful to her "adopted son" she'd become Jared's "outlie"; and Step 3 Cameron will put Cirie next to Izzy, and Izzy will go home. Yeah, I don't think that's going to happen, but wow the fan fiction Cameron's been spinning. Jared played along, like he does, and he threw a lot of shade about America and Cory, likely in an attempt to prevent outing himself with Cameron when he doesn't use veto. Jared also threw Matt and Jag under that proverbial bus, saying what if Matt was the one who saved Jag, and he said Mecole had said that. Cameron said he'd heard that but he didn't believe it. Also Cameron told Jared about the safety deal he offered Jag. After all Jared's renom roulette suggestions, Cameron fell back to "I want to know [votes] if it's Izzy versus Cirie."

Matt got his costume and cardboard companion around 9.26pm. He had a Duhamel-a-maniac superfan outfit and had to carry Josh around with him for a week, taking Polaroid selfies whenever BB gave him a signal which included where and who with. Matt said he thought the prize was dinner or time with Josh, but maybe that was a cover for why he didn't take the veto as it would put him in a tricky spot. When feeds came back from adoptable anipals, Matt and Cardboard Josh were already parked in HOH and getting grilled by Cameron about renom and vote scenarios. Jared and Izzy had a lengthy check-in and agreed not to hang out together this week. Izzy asked Jared to do some more campaigning for her while she's out digging in the yard with Cameron. Jared and Matt had a lengthy check-in comparing their Cameron meetings, and Jared told Matt he can't trust Jag, and that Cameron had given Jag a safety deal. Izzy and Cory had a lengthy check-in that included Izzy telling him about the Cameron/Jag deal. (Before noms, Cameron threatened Jag that if even a breath came back to him, the deal was off, but that was assuming Jag would be the one to blab.)

Jared also told Blue about the deal, along with a whole lot of other stuff I didn't listen to, sorry. But I did catch her saying "give me a pinky, come on, my arm is hurting" with her pinky finger outstretched. She wanted to pinkyswear that she wouldn't do him dirty in there, but he said "bro put it down, I mean it bro, if you do me dirty I'm done." But he finally pinkied back and they kissed it, and he said he won't do her dirty either.

Cameron and Izzy got their piggie suits around 11pm. They had to carry 2,000 cupfuls of dirt from one trough to another on the other side of the yard, in 12 hours. They had an electronic counter to keep track. The others were out there encouraging them, along with Cardboard Josh, and they got off to a great start, good-natured, until Cameron tossed a cup of dirt onto Izzy's back. She said "did you just fucking throw that at me??" He said he didn't. After that they went back to business and trotted their dirt back and forth on their hot pink trotters. They said they'll get clean suits when this task is finished, which I think they have to wear for a week. They made good progress, reaching 300 cupfuls in an hour and change, and figured they'd be done in a few hours. Most went off to bed or canoodle around midnight, but a few stayed out with the piggies including Bowie and Matt.

Day 40 - Sunday - September 10, 2023

In overnight news, America and Cory crossed the kissing boundary and landed themselves on the makeout tally. It was their rotation in the Have-not room and they shared the hanging bed, entwining like Picasso pretzels at one point. They agreed not to tell anyone, which is a sure way to ensure everyone will know, especially this season. Sure enough, Blue told Jared "they kissed last night" and added the usual "don't tell anyone." Jared reacted to hearing that, but added that he didn't care.

Izzy and Cameron Piggies completed transferring their 2,000 cups of dirt around 7am. Nobody else was up to see the finish and it was withheld from feeds because of course it was, but by the end they had a good rhythm and their steps, dips and tosses were perfectly synchronized. Both of them had a lot of dirt on their suits since they rolled in their dirt trough when they finished, like good piggies would, which apparently was part of the assignment. They found a selection of fresh piggie suits in the pantry to get them through the week.

Cirie and Felicia got better at kayaking together to move around the house, but making their morning coffee and tea turned out to be quite an ordeal. Then they couldn't carry their coffee/tea, their gas masks, and their kayak to get outside so Felicia hollered for help because they were shipwrecked. Matt continued being a great sport about his task and a good friend to Cardboard Josh. Last night he stood him up at the bathroom sink, facing the mirror, before tucking him into bed with blanket and pillow. This morning he got some selfie signals and Matt spun the spinner to leave the Have-not room and gave Cardboard Josh kicks along with his own, before posing for a pic under the kitchen table, as BB requested. Cory volunteered himself and America for another night in the Have-not room rotation, (partly) to save Cirie and Felicia from having to kayak the stairs. Jared had a lengthy talk with Matt, coaching him to try convincing Cameron that Izzy would be unlikely to go if noms end up Cirie and Izzy, presumably in hopes of getting Cameron to stop pressing Jared to use veto.

Day suits for Izzy Piggie and Cameron Piggie were much like their dirt suits: snap-up onesies with tails, and hot pink trotters. Izzy Piggie told Jared she'd started burning out on the dirt walk but then picked up her pace and they speed-walked for about three hours without speaking. She said she tried to ask about the veto and renom but Cameron Piggie wasn't responsive to that, and they chatted general topics for awhile. Cameron Piggie told Bowie it was the hardest thing he'd ever done, "and part of it I was just like will you shut the fuck up" but he also said they'd had some general chat that was "actually kinda nice." And he told Bowie "as far as you know, the nominations are staying the same" and "after Monday, you'll know the thing," adding he had set up things for all the dominoes to fall. (Reminder: he's said after Izzy goes, Cirie would be "alone on an island" without anyone, but he's so wrong about that.) Felicia gave Mister B a very lengthy shopping list for next week because they'll all be hungry and ready to eat, and she and Cirie started conspiracy theories about Jag. Cirie said he's older than 25, Felicia said he's probably a college professor, and Cirie said maybe he's related to Kaysar. Matt worked out with Cardboard Josh ("he spotted me") and then gave him a shave, along with himself. Felicia also figured Cameron has a bunch of F2s including Cory, America, and Bowie.

Cameron Piggie and Jared met and seemed to be in agreement about not using the veto at all, as of now. Jared's shmooze skills have been pretty good lately, and maybe Cameron Piggie's have too: I'm unsure how much he knows Jared is lying about all this, and how much he's just playing along with Jared playing along with him. Cameron Piggie asked Jared if he wanted to "cause a little bit of mayhem" before the veto meeting by telling Felicia he'd be using his veto on her. Jared responded "you're a fucking dickhead" and laughed. Cameron said "listen, I don't like her, I love Cirie." Bowie joined and said Izzy had been giving her the cold shoulder, which Bowie said was surprising since Izzy Piggie's on the block. Jared said Izzy Piggie hadn't asked him about the veto either. Cameron Piggie said he planned to campaign against Izzy Piggie, surprising no one. To his credit, he did give Izzy Piggie props about her dirt walk performance when he described it to Mecole earlier. Cameron Piggie asked Jared and Bowie again about his mayhem idea, pushing for it, and Jared said he probably wouldn't do that but he'll "have a little fun."

Cory told Izzy Piggie that he and America made out in the Have-not room. She said that was "innocent enough," he squirmed a bit, and she asked "how not innocent was it?" Cory covered his face in response. I have added them to the sex events tally after all these innuendoes, but whatever they did remains vague. Matt told America he'd competed for and won the power, and used it to save Jag. She said it had to feel good to get affirmation from the viewer vote and he agreed it did, but said he was shocked because he felt he was just "floating around, not doing anything." He added he figured he'd been in the top four because he was "loyal and honest about everything, and not playing a sneaky game." Whew and LOL. Of course America swore she wouldn't tell anyone, even Cory.

They were locked back inside late in the afternoon, making them wonder if the HOH comp would be big enough to take a four-day build. Anything's possible. While the show aired, there was a lot of psst-pssting on feeds that included Blue and Jag wanting to revive Family Style with them, America, Cory, Jared, Matt and calling it Family Reunion; America told Jag and Blue that Felicia threatened her two weeks ago that Blue would be the next target if she didn't vote Jag out; Blue told Jared that America and Jag were tight again/still; Jared told Cory that Cameron wanted him to use veto, adding if he does it'll be on Izzy; Cory told that to Izzy Piggie, and she said it was killing her to not be talking everything over with Cirie. Cameron Piggie told Jared he was only going to tell one person that he wants Jared to use the veto and that will be Jag, in hopes/expectation that it would get around and they'd know he's the leak. Bowie brought out the official selfie camera with the weekly question being describe this season in one word. The only correct answer is chaos.

Cory finally went to visit Cameron Piggie, and it was awkward, and made more awkward on quads by Cardboard Josh overseeing chess, followed by Jared pounding oats. Cory said he thought Jag was getting nervous and Cameron Piggie said "about what?" Cory said "about tomorrow" (obviously) and Cameron Piggie said "what about tomorrow?" Talk about a condescending setup, cripes. Cameron Piggie didn't give up anything, but said if veto is used, he thought everyone would back his choice of renom. Cameron Piggie then asked who'd be in the Have-not room tonight and Cory said he and America again. Cameron Piggie asked "do y'all at least separate or do you use the same bed?" I mean! Cory said "usually we split up at some point." It all got cringier from there, with Cameron Piggie asking if Cory had any secrets about his outside life he didn't want known in the house that he'd shared with her? Cory didn't really respond to that (Jared previously told Cameron there was something Cory had told America, ie his Survivor brother Zach). Cameron Piggie then fished further about Cory and America, Cory said he still kept the game his first priority but he hadn't counted on this happening. And Cameron Piggie said he loves them both and would support them either way, but the two of them should have that conversation to define whatever they are, especially if they want to "go into business" with him.

Cameron Piggie then met with Jag, which was equally cringe and condescending, in different ways. This guy. He told Jag to keep quiet about their agreement (which Cameron Piggie already squealed about and it's gotten around, but not by Jag), and he said there were four people squirming right now (presumably meaning Cirie, Felicia, Izzy, Mecole), but he only mentioned Mecole by name. And he said he had a plan but hadn't told anyone what it is, just like he did nominations. America told Mecole she and Cory had made out, and she said Cory wasn't very good at it. Ouch. Mecole later told Cirie and Felicia the two had made out, and later still Jared told Matt. Before the Have-not lights were turned off, America told Cory that Matt had confessed his Power secret to her, and that Cirie had also played for it, and of course told him not to tell anyone else. She also told him he can't trust Cirie or Izzy, he said he can't trust Jared anymore, and she swore she hadn't told anyone about his brother when he asked about that. Eventually they moved on to smacky makeout lessons.

I'm pretty sure Jared won't be using his veto tomorrow, as it would just be too risky for him, his mom, and his newly adopted sister Izzy Piggie, but this week is loony (this whole season is loony), so I'm still keeping everything in pencil.

I was prepared to give them total downs, maybe doubled, because the Name That Toot comp, toilet megaphone, and Stink-o-Meter ratings are so asinine. But the tandem kayakers, cardboard Josh Duhamel, and dual piggies are so ridiculous and comically out of place in this cutthroat game, I have to bounce them back up to neutral.

4th evicted - Day 37

He was a caricature of himself on the episodes but he was more genuine on feeds. His and Cameron's bromance was like some over-countrified afterschool special and when they broke up, the tinkly piano shifted to a broken banjo string twang. He said some inappropriate things, he provided baked goods, and he was a good sport about his birthday roast. He was a victim of the heavily layered and interwoven alliance mess, so this feller had to skedaddle back to hawkin' moonshine in Gatlinburg.

3rd evicted - Day 23

He painted a target on himself by winning the first two vetos and the second HOH, and he knew that. He started out fun and lively but he got HOHitis so bad his own alliance orchestrated a blindside plan to put him up and out. His campaign pitches were painful, right? As he gave marathon speeches, right? In his soft breathy voice, right? To anyone he could corner for an hour, right? He was a superb comp host and game show emcee for one of the few group activities they did.

2nd evicted - Day 16

Four people were already nominated when she won the first HOH and all she had to do was remove two. She spent most of the first days repeating she wanted an alliance of eight, which she eventually pulled together, with F2, F3, F4 along the way. She had it made but then found out everyone else knew about her eight and she spent the rest of her HOH week in tears. Then she hit the block and campaigned poorly, but at least she went out fighting.

1st evicted - Day 9

She was on the block when she started to pitch and double-dip, and you can't blame her for that. Being new to BB, that's what she'd seen on the shows, and most everyone else started doing the same thing right away anyway. But Kirsten became an easy scapegoat since she wasn't in their inner power circles. She would have been good feeds: she planned a scorching nominee speech, but then opted to go out classy and didn't use it.

Ejected Day 8

Between hamsters thinking he was a secret doctor and feedsters thinking he was a secret twin, his week was full of unintentional comedy. He added to that by not knowing the show or that the game had started without him, then he worked hard to join the game in progress, with no success. Then he dropped the n-word, and then he was gone.

GAME TWISTS

Week 1 BB Multiverse
Losers of four move-in comps went on the block, and HOH Reilly saved two.

Week 2 Nether Region
Inconsistent and vague. Individuals were sent to Nether Region for varying lengths of time, receiving 'something good or bad' and selecting the next one to go. Roster of who went and for how long is in the Extracurricular Items tally.

Week 4 Invincibility Power
Viewers voted four to secretly compete for the power, which gave the winner the option to save the Week 4 or Week 5 evictee.
Cirie, Cory, Jag, Matt competed, Matt won, and secretly used it to cancel Jag's eviction at the end of Week 4.
