Daily Feeds Recaps

Day 37 - Thursday - September 7, 2023

Overnight and this morning, the 8-2 plan to evict Red rolled back to 6-4, with Felicia and Mecole voting out Jag along with Bowie and Cameron. Cirie told Jared that Felicia and Mecole now wanted Jag to go so they'll let them believe that's what's going to happen, and there were possible side plans for Cirie and Izzy to take credit for those votes, or for them to tell Felicia they changed at the last minute because Red told them Felicia had to go. Felicia sang? howled? in her sleep this morning, which kind of freaked out her roomies -Flashback 9/7 6.49am. Later she told America she did that when having a nightmare, which hadn't happened yet in the house, adding that meant she's getting comfortable there now.

Jag and Matt hunted for and found Mecole's hidden leftovers, and they may have re-hid them, I'm not sure. Red told Mecole everyone knew about her hidden backup cookies and she said only one was gone, so that was okay. Red told Jared that Felicia was acting funny and on a power trip, and that she'd asked if he was going to keep a cupcake or take it home with him(!) Jared told him he hadn't heard anything about that, or the vote. Cirie told Jared the revised plan a few minutes later. Mecole told Jared they had to get rid of Jag because he and Matt were too close, "they got inside jokes and a whole thing going on," they were a bigger threat than Cameron/Red, and Jag would have four automatic jury votes from America, Blue, Cory, Matt if he gets to the end. Felicia casually mentioned Denzel in conversation with Cameron. Bowie, Cameron, Cirie, Izzy, Red held a lengthy anti-Felicia meeting which included her cupcake comment to Red, and Cameron saying he wanted to throw the HOH to Red. Felicia informed Jared they were voting out Jag now, and he said "gotcha, let's do it." (They aren't doing it.)

After a lot of rehash recaps with the usual misdirection, Red was evicted 8-2, with only Bowie and Cameron dissenting. So something happened with the various alternate plans between the feeds going down for dress rehearsal and the show, which is turning out to be the norm this year. Red went out shirtless, but with smiles and hugs all around, and he didn't call out Felicia as he'd threatened to do. Julie told him about Cirie and Jared, which surprised him although he tried to play it cool, saying "oh wow that's awesome."

The HOH comp was live on the show, with Julie announcing Humiliweek. The comp was Name That Toot with seven true/false questions about short videos featuring themselves with different colored fart clouds. Really. Everyone got the first two correct, Bowie/Matt/Cirie went out on the third, Felicia/America/Blue/Mecole/Jag went out on the fourth, and Izzy/Cory went out on the fifth, leaving Cameron the winner, and the first repeat HOH. The reaction to his win was less than boisterous.

Julie then told them everyone except Cameron is Have-not this week with slop and cold showers, and they'd take turns sleeping in the Have-not room. And she told us Wednesday's show will feature Josh Duhamel, and she said next Thursday will have "a big announcement that will affect this year's jury."

Feeds came back around 10.20pm, and we heard talk about having to wear gas masks, maybe when they use the bathroom. Cameron told Bowie "Jag's gotta go this week" so Cameron could finish what he started. That may or may not be true, but Bowie was the only one who voted with him so it could be true. He also told her Felicia would freak out if she was a pawn, but said he's not that mean and wouldn't do that. Various others held What Will He Do convos. We'll see how pre-nom meetings go tomorrow. Jared and Blue laid on the living room sofas, tragically, with Jared saying "how did we let this motherfucker win again?" And he asked if she'd say yes if he proposed at finale, and she said "absolutely, I'd say yes right now." Cameron got his room around 11.15pm with everyone oohing and aahing over his pics, and the food and snacks they can't have. His letter was from daughter Stevie again who said she'd just started third grade, and she liked reading and writing best, aww. Cameron made it through the letter without crying, but only just. I think Cirie and Felicia were going to take the first sleep rotation in Have-not room but not sure. Maybe Mecole and/or Izzy too.

Day 38 - Friday - September 8, 2023

In overnight news, Felicia and Mecole slept in Have-not (Cirie and Izzy will sleep there tonight). Blue got right in to HOH last night for her pre-nom meeting with Cameron. She said she's heard a lot of things, she cried, and Cameron told her he needed her to play for veto (meaning she'd be an initial nominee). He told her she was "100% not his target" and he offered a pinkyswear about that. He said or implied she'd go up with Jag again, but said he had a Plan but he hadn't even told Diary what it was. Blue retold to Cirie this morning, saying Cameron definitely had a target, and Cirie said Red had said Cameron had wanted to gun for Izzy. Cirie thought he might also want to go for Felicia or Jared, and Blue said she'd gotten the impression he wasn't after her (Cirie).

Humiliverse turned out to be two-fold at this stage. They all had gas masks in different colors that they needed to wear to use the toilet, and they had to announce their toilet visits with a megaphone. After they came out, BB ran announcements with the silly cartoony voice rating them, for example "that's a four on the Stink-o-Meter!" Really.

Bowie visited Cameron this morning and he told her his noms would be Blue and Jared, with America renom if needed. Cirie had her meeting in the living room saying she had no secrets, and Cameron said he loved her and "you know we're good." I don't know if Felicia's meeting was on feeds or not but apparently he told her it'd be a rerun of Week 4. Jag talked and talked and talked at his meeting, as Cameron sat silently. Finally he said "did you get it all out?" Jag said he thought so, and Cameron said "I don't trust you, at all." But then he pitched a deal, saying he wants Jag and Blue on the block but that Jag was right in saying that wouldn't benefit Cameron or Jag, but if he doesn't put them up - "which everyone wants" - could Jag offer him absolute safety next week in return, and Jag agreed. Cameron added another condition, saying if he doesn't put up Jag today but catches a breath of their convo from anyone else, "it's over." Cameron told Jag he was a good actor, and he should use his words, his sad eyes and his sad face to cover up their convo and deal. They shook hands on it, and hugged.

Jared was next and he and Cameron both implied they were good with each other, and Jared threw Felicia under that hamster bus, and Cameron told him he'd noticed nobody cheered when he won the HOH comp. Cory was next and Cameron told him it'd be Blue and Jag, and Cory said it was Felicia's fault that America hadn't trusted Cameron. Cory tried to pitch a working relationship but Cameron didn't respond to that. Cameron then told America noms would be Blue and Jag, and said he didn't want a replacement, saying "Jag was already voted out 10-0, let's do it again." He brought out his condescending, BBsplaining voice with her, and said "it's time to play Big Brother." Cameron then told Mecole it'd be Blue and Jag and said they "can't afford to put up a pawn" since their alliance was already down one vote with him as HOH. Cameron told Izzy it'd be Blue and Jag, with America as renom, and he repeated the same to Bowie (again). Cameron also said the same to Matt, and told him "it's me and you, we're it," adding he still trusted Jared a little. And he said "that's all I'm gonna tell you right now.. if anything changes come talk to me, I'll lay everything out" and said he trusted Matt enough to not give him all the info now, so Matt wouldn't have to lie to everyone. Naturally last night's vote, plus who-said-what-to-and-from-Red about his and Cameron's broship came up periodically in various meetings, along with a lot of Felicia bashing.

Several of them compared notes after their meetings of course, but I think Jag held to his promise of not retelling his deal to anyone. Jag and Cory did a talk show skit, joking about Jag going on the block again. Cory said "can I practice? I vote to evict Jag.. run it back." That was maybe nothing but the gag it seemed to be, but it was kind of peculiar after last night's silly conspiracy that Cory had mouthed Jag when his voice said he voted to evict Red. (Me, I just kept thinking of the quality of this show's CGI and refuse to believe they'd try something like that live, especially for zero reason, but BB fandom's gonna BB fandom.) Meanwhile they waited for nominations to start, and the ridiculousness jumped out with things like Cirie examining her lemon yellow gas mask while Izzy loudly ground steelcut oats into flour with a lentils can so she could make something to eat. The grinding went on forever and was so loud it echoed through the house into every room. Jared was extremely grouchy from all of it, and told Blue as much, but she said they'll have a night in Have-not room soon to play rock paper scissors.

After all that, Cameron repaid them for being blindsided last night by blindsiding them today and nominating Felicia and Izzy. Noms were done old school keywheel style, but instead of pulling a key saying "you are safe" they got pies in the face until only Izzy and Felicia were left. Several said they knew something was up when Jag got pied, and America was the last to get her pie. Felicia ranted a bit afterwards, Izzy ranted to Cory who ranted back (his acting was not good but Izzy probably didn't notice). America was thrilled and celebrated with Cory. He said "we made jury" and she said "let's fucking go!"

Felicia and Izzy each met with Cameron who told each of them his target was the other one; Cameron told Cirie they'd been good from the start and she had nothing to worry about; Cameron told Jared he had a multipart plan in process (making Izzy and Felicia each believe they're pawns was step 3, and he said he'll let Jared know step 4 when they get there); and Cameron told Jag he had "an idea" of who he wanted to go, and he kind of threatened Jag to stick to their deal or else, adding he'd extended an olive branch and hoped they could move forward together. They were allowed to eat their pies. Several said they weren't very good, but they saved them just the same for future snacks. Or meals.

Matt and Jared had a quick check-in and agreed Cirie could be Cameron's real target, and Izzy proposed the same thought to America. Izzy added she might think about not using veto if she wins, America said she should (not use it), and Izzy said "I don't want to be an idiot, but I don't want Cirie on the block." America did a hug/dance celebration with Jag, who said "stop, stop." Izzy told Cirie if she wins, she's not going to pull herself down. Cirie said "listen.." and said they'll talk about it later, and they both said Felicia will go regardless. Cirie and Felicia guessed correctly that Jag must have cut a deal with Cameron.

Of course whispers carried on all over about who knew, who'd be best (and worst) to play veto, who the renom would be, who would go in various combos, and how the votes might lie. Cameron told Matt that he only trusts Matt, Jared, Bowie, and he said he still didn't want to tell Matt who his real target was. Izzy and Mecole attempted fried pickles with the slop/oat flour Izzy ground, but the first attempt was a fail. They kept trying, Felicia, Cirie, Blue pitched in, the slop flour still didn't stick to the pickles, and Mecole started POUND POUND POUNDing the flour which was a hit with hamsters and feedsters alike. Sarcasm. Later Matt made flying saucer noises as he rolling pinned some oats. Eventually they got something that kind of worked. Jared told Jag and Blue "we had one fucking job, one job" and Jag and Blue made more roundabout game plans for the future. Jag and Matt christened themselves the Minutemen. Felicia and Cirie said everyone keeps switching around alliances, but their group has stayed solid (eek). Felicia told Cirie Cameron had told both Izzy and herself they weren't his target.

Cory and America snuggled in bed with provocative comments like him saying his boundaries "don't make much sense" and her saying "screenshots everywhere." Izzy shed some tears in her Have-not bed, and later Cirie peptalked her, saying how much better she was doing socially and how proud Cirie was of her for that. And she said while it's tricky to speak one's mind in the situation they're in, it's often important to do so in the real world.

3rd evicted - Day 23

He painted a target on himself by winning the first two vetos and the second HOH, and he knew that. He started out fun and lively but he got HOHitis so bad his own alliance orchestrated a blindside plan to put him up and out. His campaign pitches were painful, right? As he gave marathon speeches, right? In his soft breathy voice, right? To anyone he could corner for an hour, right? He was a superb comp host and game show emcee for one of the few group activities they did.

2nd evicted - Day 16

Four people were already nominated when she won the first HOH and all she had to do was remove two. She spent most of the first days repeating she wanted an alliance of eight, which she eventually pulled together, with F2, F3, F4 along the way. She had it made but then found out everyone else knew about her eight and she spent the rest of her HOH week in tears. Then she hit the block and campaigned poorly, but at least she went out fighting.

1st evicted - Day 9

She was on the block when she started to pitch and double-dip, and you can't blame her for that. Being new to BB, that's what she'd seen on the shows, and most everyone else started doing the same thing right away anyway. But Kirsten became an easy scapegoat since she wasn't in their inner power circles. She would have been good feeds: she planned a scorching nominee speech, but then opted to go out classy and didn't use it.

Won: Nothing

HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/0/0 - HN 1

30 - Survivor applicant - Single

Ejected Day 8

Between hamsters thinking he was a secret doctor and feedsters thinking he was a secret twin, his week was full of unintentional comedy. He added to that by not knowing the show or that the game had started without him, then he worked hard to join the game in progress, with no success. Then he dropped the n-word, and then he was gone.

GAME TWISTS

Week 1 BB Multiverse
Losers of four move-in comps went on the block, and HOH Reilly saved two.

Week 2 Nether Region
Inconsistent and vague. Individuals were sent to Nether Region for varying lengths of time, receiving 'something good or bad' and selecting the next one to go. Roster of who went and for how long is in the Extracurricular Items tally.

Week 4 Invincibility Power
Viewers voted four to secretly compete for the power, which gave the winner the option to save the Week 4 or Week 5 evictee.
Cirie, Cory, Jag, Matt competed, Matt won, and secretly used it to cancel Jag's eviction at the end of Week 4.
