Daily Feeds Recaps

Day 12 - Sunday - July 17, 2022

There were a lot A LOT of planning talks last night, including Jasmine's crew talking about the possibility of Michael using his veto on Taylor, and putting up Joseph as renom and target. That would be her "working crew" (my term) of herself, Ameerah, Alyssa plus Nicole, Daniel. And Jasmine told Monte that Pooch had suggested him as a renom. There was also a lot A LOT of haterade about Taylor revving up again/still last night, which picked up again today. For whatever reason (none), most of them just can't seem to move past that.. Paloma's legacy. They finally had the yard back so that should help some of the cabin fever that's been building.

Nicole shared her secret with Daniel, that she'd been a police officer for ten years before becoming a chef. She said she decided to tell him because of him talking about his brother's murder last night, and his family's grief and frustration that it remains unsolved, along with the lack of investigation/resources/cooperation from officials. She said she worked with special victims and crimes against children, which was highly emotional and draining, and there weren't enough resources/time/manpower to help people. She said when she started culinary school she realized she had a passion for it, and it didn't carry the grief and stress of her police work. Both became emotional, and Daniel talked more about his brother. He also confessed to her his real Reason for putting up Michael and Terrance last week was because he thought they'd be the easiest to smooth over about it later and not necessarily retaliate against him.

Poolside was mostly casual convos, snacking, Turner's flicks, and Terrance versus ring floaties but there were a number of game check-ins. Among them, Ameerah told Taylor that Indy had been upset because she doesn't have a Final Two, and Ameerah kind of scoffed at that, saying it's so early. They agreed on girls to the end, and debated which of the guys to take into jury phase. Michael and Kyle discussed the possibility of the girls all working together, and this week's vote, and next week's plans. Kyle said he wasn't sure what to do as he didn't want to keep Pooch but he didn't want the guys to think he was working against them. Michael reported that to Brittany and also told her about last night's talks about booting Joseph this week, adding he didn't think that was going to happen. Indy asked Joseph about her name being tossed around and he said he had heard people drop her name but he never has, adding he protects her among the guys but doesn't know what the girls are doing. Monte and Kyle shared frustration at some of the girls not communicating with them, particularly about Kyle's vote, but agreed there's still plenty of time.

Jasmine was given a boot for her ankle and told it was a bad sprain but not a break - I believe she got it x-rayed earlier today or yesterday. They got cake mix, party hats, and a skimpy booze delivery. They assumed it was for Joseph's birthday but that isn't til July 23. Indy's one year anniversary "becoming American" (citizenship I assume - she's been here longer than that) is tomorrow and there had been talk about having a red white & blue party for that, so maybe wires got crossed somewhere. It wouldn't be the first time.

True Confessions Day continued after spaghetti dinner, in a Michael and Brittany hammock chat. He told her he knows McCrae and worked with him at the escape room, and either admitted or strongly hinted his "superfan" status. She said she'd done a student film with Jenn City and Meg, and that BB2 Shannon came to her gym class in sixth grade, since she was friends with Brittany's teacher. She said Shannon was surprised a sixth grader recognized her. Brittany gave Dr Will proper credit for coining the word showmance, which Michael also acknowledged. And she repeated what she'd told Jasmine yesterday, that she's got some dirt about Turner but she couldn't say what til after the show. Alyssa complained to Kyle that people have been calling the two of them a showmance. He said that's a red flag, and he can't have that, so they may try to distance themselves somewhat. They strongly hinted to each other that there is indeed a girls' and a guys' alliance, and Alyssa told him Nicole tells Daniel everything.

Michael is probably not going to use his veto tomorrow, and Pooch is still lined up to meet Julie on Thursday. As of now, anyway. There are some rumblings here and there that could change that. It's a very long time til Thursday rolls around again.

Day 11 - Saturday - July 16, 2022

Veto players were drawn (Ameerah, Michael, Terrance) and Daniel would host - even though he just hosted the second part of Thursday's HOH comp. Everything popped off again. Terrance, Kyle, Monte all found out about the plan to boot Pooch (though not how carefully orchestrated it was, or by whom). Terrance said he didn't like it but he wouldn't go against the house, especially since he'd just come off the block. Kyle said he was okay with it as he didn't want to be Pooch's #1 and didn't trust him long term. Monte pushed back, hard, arguing with Ameerah and Nicole for Taylor to go this week. That discussion got heated, and Ameerah and Nicole later agreed Monte was a problem and would have to go sooner than later.

Taylor was aware of the plan in part, having been told she was a pawn with Pooch the target, though she didn't know they'd only put her on the back burner for now. She talked to herself/us from her bed after the veto draw, saying she has to plan her path to F2, and "that veto's mine.. with Terrance and Michael playing.. Ameerah will gun for it and keep noms the same." She's correct that Michael would probably use it on her - he'd already told her he would, but she doesn't know Terrance is on the anti-Taylor train, or that Ameerah was instrumental in forming this week's plan to keep her and screw Pooch. BB scolded her for napping, and she said "no napping? I was plotting!" And she wondered if viewers want her there or not: she'll be stunned and pleased to learn about the unprecedented support she has.

Turner and Terrance had an animated conversation about music but for the most part, Turner seemed to remain uninvolved and unbothered by much. Kyle told Michael that Pooch is the "village idiot" and said it'd be good to keep him around since everyone was against him. He also said Nicole and Ameerah were both very intelligent, and said "there might be a women-first alliance," adding that Jasmine had slipped by saying "we" when telling him about the Pooch agenda - something I'd mentioned about that convo on yesterday's recap.

Feeds went to anipals for the veto comp a little after 1pm and returned two hours later with Michael having won his second veto. Jasmine did not compete - sounds like her choice after seeing the setup? And Taylor hurt her leg, which sounded like a skin scrape rather than a wrench, she asked for Neosporin. The comp involved rolling or shooting four? five? balls into a target zone, while in motion - maybe something like the Celebs 3 sleds. It sounded like an ocean setting with sharks and mermaids, and beads were involved as an obstacle or hazard of some kind, plus occasional water dumps. Everyone agreed Michael did great and deserved the win.

Naturally Pooch, who volunteered to go on the block, started scrambling immediately, as did the rest of them - even though everything had already been decided if Pooch didn't win. Ameerah worked him up even more, while acting and sounding like she was giving him good advice: it was masterful. Brittany for no reason told Pooch's bestie Turner that Taylor had said Michael would use veto and "an ever bigger target" than Pooch would go up, and she told Jasmine there's more to Turner than artist/rugmaker, but she can't say what til after the show. Jasmine continued acting like she hadn't judged Taylor unfairly, and that getting Pooch out had been her idea. Indy continued popping funny lines into serious convos.

The rest of the afternoon and evening was more scrambling by Pooch, more scrambling about Pooch, cooking and eating, and a Yanny/Laurel situation out here about whether Daniel or Monte said something Daniel shouldn't. Jasmine found out the HOH breaks a vote tie live and face-to-face, and she didn't like that idea. Turner demonstrated his hidden talent of licking his elbow, and all feeds were on Terrance for awhile as he rearranged his Have-not floaties bed with lengthy explanations. And they all gathered around the table again to exchange stories and share what they've learned about themselves in there.

Veto and vote talks will rage on with no final decisions anytime soon, so I ducked out early.

Left the game - Day 8

She drove the game at the start, and she ignited and fueled the unjustified Taylor hate which continued to thrive even after she left. When she started to spiral, her conspiracy theories and delusions would have been comical if they weren't indicative of something more serious going on. It was probably best for her to go when she did, and for me - her nonstop superfast talking was stressing me out.

Won: Nothing
