Dani was spinning and holding meetings with Da'Vonne, and with Cody, and with Nicole, and around 3.30am she assembled Christmas, Cody, Memphis, Nicole in HOH because Da'Vonne wouldn't tell her definitively if she'd use her veto or not. Dani said she'd ask everyone to raise their hands at the veto meeting to say they'd vote out Tyler if Da'Vonne doesn't use her veto. Cody and Memphis didn't think much of that plan, and Cody and Christmas got a little snippy with each other. If Da'Vonne does use her veto on Kevin, Dani will probably replace him with Ian, as she knows Christmas has a power but she doesn't know how it works. Feeds went to adoptable anipals earlier than usual for veto meeting this morning, around 10.20am.Feeds came back around 11.40am: Da'Vonne used her veto on Kevin, and Dani put up Ian in his place. Christmas did not invoke her power, so she's got one more shot to do so next week, if she chooses. Ian took it well, saying he knew coming in if he was going to win, he'd have to be on the block a few times. Dani apologized to him and said she felt bad, and told him she'd break a tie in his favor if it comes to that. Nicole was pissy about it all, annoyed at Da'Vonne because her not-so-secret partner Ian was now in jeopardy. Christmas and Memphis had a quick check-in saying they had to pretend this week that Tyler would go "to keep the peace" (with Da'Vonne). Da'Vonne told David that Kevin is not her ally but he is a friend, and she "shouldn't have to take two hits back to back" losing people. Ian told Kevin about a couple incidents as a kid when he threw tantrums over losing things, and that his dad and his scout leader both told him he had to learn to lose. He said he doesn't want to be a bad sport on national TV again and if he does lose, he'll lose with grace. He said he still has an inner struggle about that. He said he's okay today, and that he'd never been on the block with so many people in the house before. Kevin said "welcome to the club," and Ian said "in a way it's something I need to do, if I want to prove I'm a decent player in this game I need to be nominated at least once" and "it's fun." Nicole then whined to Kevin because "I sometimes say things I don't mean." That was probably about Ian (and the heads-up she'd gotten about that), but she explained it in terms of Janelle. She said it upset her when they asked if she'd be friends with Janelle and she said no, and they said "ooo shade!" But she said she wasn't going to be fake and be friends with somebody who called her "b-i-t-c-h." She really doesn't seem to realize she spent the first three weeks crying about and b-i-t-c-h-ing about Janelle. Dani told Enzo that Ian will go, and Da'Vonne, David, Kevin will be "completely blindsided." Scrambling continued all over town, like it does, with various accurate and dead-wrong reads getting equal importance and attention, along with fake misdirection from some. Da'Vonne asked Tyler if he'd ever told Dani to put her on the block and Tyler said no (lie), and "did she tell you that?!" He said he'd let everyone know but unfortunately for us, Da'Vonne said no, "don't cause a scene." Nicole was afraid someone might throw a "kink vote" (hinky) for Ian Thursday and blame it on her, and she took to her bed because "it's hard to look at Ian so I'm hiding." She also said she was having a grouchy day and Cody asked what that meant. Ian made a very lot of noise all afternoon about not wanting to be first to jury, so much so that they went to starfishies every time he said the word, and he said it often. Christmas told Dani he was doing so, and Dani replied that was just talk to get them to feel bad. Ian finally went up to visit Dani, who asked Christmas to leave. Ian asked why she decided on him and she did her usual song 'n dance: a limited pool of options, she's already nominated "half the house," two powers are still floating around, etc. She did not admit she has one of those powers and she knows Christmas has the other. Ian said Kevin told him he's heard buzz about getting him out, which got Dani's attention, as everyone's supposed to be keeping quiet and letting Ian think he's safe until they blindside him Thursday. Ian said he thought the outliers' votes would probably come down to who they think is closer to Cody, and that person would go. Ian then mentioned jury, and the feeds switched to backyard cornhole. Kevin retold Ian's campaign pitch to Da'Vonne and to Enzo (separately), including "if you don't vote for me, it'll be a big red flag to the rest of the house." Dani and Nicole got a little snippy with each other as Dani said yet again Nicole can't give Ian a pity vote as it would screw over Dani. Nicole said it wouldn't be for a jury vote, it'd be for her "moral compass." Dani told Da'Vonne she wasn't mad at her for using her veto, even though she'd asked her not to as it would screw up her (Dani's) game. She said she wasn't mad about a dozen times, indicating she was probably pretty mad. They discussed Ian doing campaign rounds so soon, and Da'Vonne said she wondered why people lie to nominees about their votes. She added she wasn't mad at Nicole for BB18 because Nicole had stabbed her in the front, rather than the back. Ian pitched to Memphis in the lounge, which was highly awkward. He said if they don't get rid of Tyler now, he'll win the game. Memphis spoke very formally, in a loud voice, saying he thought both Tyler and Ian were the best players in there, and he kept saying he was a "lone woof" in the game. They added a beautiful touch of irony when they wrapped up their talk by framing the love hearts on the wall. Dani told Tyler that Kevin told her he'd heard Tyler's name from a wall yeller, about a power, and she said if she's hearing that from him, others are too. Tyler said "that motherfucker" and of course Dani said "don't tell anyone." After hiding from and avoiding Ian all day, he finally caught up with her at her bed, and it was very awkward. He said he thinks people are thinking this is shark week, adding "two sharks are up this week" when she asked what that meant. He told her he thought Dani's noms were a mistake, and he expected a higher caliber of decision-making on All-stars. She said she'd campaign for him this week, and I hope she doesn't ever take up poker. Afterwards she went to HOH, muttering "this is the worst thing for my game" before Dani joined, and they rehashed everything again. Nicole said she'd fight for Ian a little this week "so he can see someday that I tried," and Dani said Da'Vonne still hadn't apologized for using her veto and putting Dani in a tricky spot. Enzo told Kevin "you got people yelling out here 'Cody and Nicole run the house' - of course they are, because they came in here as a fuckin alliance!" Ian later ranted to BB/himself/us from his hammock, saying "it's unfuriating on many, many levels BB" and "so fuckin wreckless, so so stupid, I'm in pain by how dumb that was and it's gonna cost me a lot of fuckin money, 52k out the window because of [Dani], so fuckin stupid." Dani joined him, which perturbed Kevin because she didn't check on him when he was on the block. They in turn discussed Kevin's lame gameplay, how all his information "came from over the wall" and he didn't have any solid relationships in there. Ian told her about his talk with Memphis, thus planting that seed with Dani about Tyler winning if they don't boot him now when they can. Reminder, if you missed what came before, check my previous episode, always linked up top or from my season index, and/or the detailed feeds updates by @UgotBronx, and get the feeds to catch anything you missed with Flashback! Day 42 - Tuesday - September 15, 2020The yard remained open so they decided (correctly) this week wouldn't be a double. The awnings look so great this year with the artwork incorporated into the wall murals, but the screws keep popping out. Memphis pitched the idea of forming two F3s to Enzo, with the kicker being they'd both have the same name. Memphis told several of them about his talk with Ian last night, saying he was "a totally different person, like creepy different" and that Ian was "super charismatic, super put together." He wouldn't have been stunned about Ian being different if he'd had any conversations with him these last many weeks, but no. Waffling over who to evict Thursday shifted into high gear and will likely continue, along with many starfishies cuts for the words jury, home, quit (since both nominees have threatened to bail), along with the usual misdemeanors. Ian said Diary informed him he'd get no pay at all if he quit at jury phase - something he surely already knew.David had lengthy gametalks with Cody and with Christmas, which was unusual. Nicole pitched a convoluted plan to Cody, Enzo, Dani for a 5-3 vote (in hopes she'd personally come out okay with both Ian and Dani). She suggested they convince David, Da'Vonne, Kevin to vote to keep Ian, but Nicole would blame her own Ian eviction vote on David and accuse him of flipping. What she doesn't know is David's been working a strong anti-Ian agenda. Nicole wrapped all that in "I'm trying to feel decent about myself as a human being" which is peculiar, since she's set on voting to evict her Million Club pinkyswear partner no matter what - she just doesn't want him to know. Anti-Da'Vonne agendas also escalated, particularly from Christmas, Dani, Nicole. Kevin had another of his patented I Will Figure Out the Alliances talk to Da'Vonne, hitting on some accuracies and some errors, as usual. He's almost caught up to what Kaysar told him weeks ago, and he had a few winning lines this time, including saying Christmas drops false comments, sees how people react, then runs to tell someone else: "she's a baiter, a master baiter." And he said Enzo plays "the mirror game, he just reflects back what you give to him." He kept laying out alliance maps of who he thinks is with whom, with Da'Vonne listening more than talking, but they agreed they had to start taking out the Committee members. At the same time Memphis and Cody were in HOH discussing what to do next, depending on various potential scenarios. They did their weekly virus tests which are somewhat routine for them now, but not pleasant. They got a booze delivery around 9.30pm and they let the three Have-nots each stash a beer for tomorrow. Dani and Nicole had just had secret beers in HOH and they had to chug those before running downstairs. Feeds went to extended starfishies at 9.53pm, maybe due to another yeller, and stayed down til almost midnight. Some drama happened: Dani was upset and ranting, Nicole was crying, and Ian was explaining he didn't want Dani to be telling him she was sorry. It also seemed like Dani told Tyler (sincerely) that he'd be staying. It sounds like David asked Ian for info, Ian said he didn't want to give names while on the block, Ian became annoyed and rejected Dani's attempts to comfort. Also Nicole told Cody that Dani could have put up Ian or Enzo, and she opted for Nicole's number one rather than Cody's. Ian talked some more about his childhood issues when facing losses. David explained to Kevin that Nicole felt betrayed because her F2 with Ian was getting killed by Dani, and Kevin explained to David that Ian's panicking because he's realized he's in real trouble, while Tyler's chilling. They agreed Ian wasn't in the core of any of the power alliance(s), and David said his goal was to get Ian angry so he'd know who to target if he stays. Kevin said "mission accomplished, you got him angry." It was pretty solid that Ian would go on Thursday, and he likely still will, but tomorrow's waffling will likely be escalated now. Reminder, if you missed what came before, check my previous episode, always linked up top or from my season index, and/or the detailed feeds updates by @UgotBronx, and get the feeds to catch anything you missed with Flashback! Day 43 - Wednesday - September 16, 2020They had a late morning after fight night and booze, and retells began soon after they got up. Cody and Tyler said Dani was annoyed at Da'Vonne, and Tyler said Dani trusts him. Dani and Tyler met happily and Dani said she won't have Ian's finals vote. Nicole suggested Ian apologize to Dani, and he did. They hugged, Dani said she wasn't mad at him, and Ian said "it's fuckin Kevin, he's an asshole, fuck that guy, we don't need his vote." Ian said he should be fine as he'll have Nicole, Cody, Enzo, Christmas votes plus Dani to break the tie. Dani did not let on that none of that was true. Ian reiterated he was annoyed with both David and Kevin. That could be from David purposefully antagonizing him last night, and maybe thinking Kevin had a hand in that? Recall late last night David and Kevin discussed possibly wanting to keep Ian as a result of the fights and seeing who sided with whom. Memphis told Dani he was annoyed at Da'Vonne, and that he'd let Ian know he wasn't voting for him tomorrow. Enzo laughed about all the retells.Memphis told Dani he'd tell Ian he won't have his vote, adding there's no reason to lie at this point. Ian told Enzo Dani said she'd break a tie in his favor, and he was annoyed at Kevin for being "wishy-washy" and saying he needed more info after Ian went on the block, breaking their "pawn pact." Enzo told Nicole "it's hard, Ian's pitching so good, like fuck yo, he's good yo, and he wants it more." Dani was surprised that Ian pitched to Enzo again, and they laughed about Ian believing he's got four votes he doesn't plus Dani's tiebreaker. Ian met with Kevin, and said nothing changed as a result of last night, and he "just needs to collect votes, it's that simple," adding "it hurts." Ian said he needs his Taco Tuesday or Dan's Funeral, and Kevin said "it's been decided weeks ago." Ian asked "are we still good?" Kevin said "I'm still good," and they shook hands on his vote tomorrow. Nicole told Dani "Kevin is a huge problem, he went to Ian this morning and told him the people closest to him - this is a setup to get him out" and "Ian just told me David's campaigning against him" and "it's all stemming from that stupid person saying that thing" (wall yeller's "Cody and Nicole are playing everyone"). And they questioned why everyone thinks Cody's a master manipulator (as Cody's getting exactly what he wants this week). Dani came up with another convoluted plan about vote lies and Nicole questioned why they need to blindside Ian at all. Ian told Nicole, Enzo, Christmas he wasn't going to campaign to David. Cody told Dani she has to use her power and play for HOH tomorrow and she said she didn't want to. He also said he's frustrated that Dani didn't put up Da'Vonne, saying he'd wanted her gone over Bayleigh "because of her mouth." Nicole and Tyler met to rehash the he said/she said situation with Dani from a week ago? Two? On and on it goes. Ian asked Cody if he had his vote and Cody said he did (lie). Nicole asked Enzo and Christmas to let Ian know their votes ahead of time, to let her off the hook with him, saying she only cares about his friendship and not a jury vote, and they said they would. Nicole and Christmas added another pinkyswear to the tally, this one a double with a kiss on top, that they wouldn't tattle back to Dani confidences they shared, both saying they needed an outlet. Nicole retold everything almost immediately to Cody. Kevin asked Dani what the plan is, and she said Ian's freaking out, and "if Ian goes, this week is a complete joke," and she told Kevin it was not her intent for that to happen (lie). Memphis told Ian he'll vote to evict him, adding it's because he thinks Ian's a better player than Tyler/more of a threat, and that he's smarter than Memphis, and he didn't want to lie to him. Ian asked Nicole and Cody if he has the votes. Nicole said he could "potentially" get four to force a tie. That alerted Ian that he does not have them, and he said "I think my game is over." Nicole peptalked him to stay calm, nothing was certain, and to work for the votes. Starfishies were on the feeds more than hamsters for much of the day so far, with virtually everything an apparent hot topic we're forbidden to hear about. They were told their halfway party will be tonight. That's usually an hour or so of blocked feeds due to music, plus booze. Ian said again he's not going to jury, and he told Nicole "you're going to be out your ally on [Dani]'s HOH." Dani later asked him if he'd talked to Kevin and he said "fuck Kevin." Ian then pitched to Christmas, saying "I need your vote. If I get Nicole, Cody, Enzo, you, I get the tiebreaker and stay." Christmas knew he wasn't getting those votes, nor Dani deciding in his favor if it is a tie, but she hemmed and hawed, and double-talked and paused, while telling him she wanted to be "really transparent." When Ian finished he said "and that's my pitch," and Christmas replied very non-transparently "that's good, very good, all right I'm gonna go downstairs, we have a party tonight, apparently.. yayyy." Nicole and Da'Vonne had a check-in, and then Christmas reported her talk with Ian to Nicole, who told her Kevin, David, Da'Vonne are voting Ian out. Feeds went to anipals at 6.10pm for their party and returned 8.24pm to a couple rooms with silent hamsters, definitely not a party atmosphere. The silence didn't last long: Tyler met with David in the lounge to campaign but it didn't go well. David talked about the hand Tyler had in Bayleigh's eviction, and Tyler hadn't talked game with him, and Tyler began uncharacteristically cussing, a lot. He told David "you think you're playing chess but you're fuckin over here playing hopscotch," and he said David was flexing on him. David said he's been "trying to fight the monsters in this house, there's monsters in here." They ended with no vote commitment from David either way. Elsewhere Cody ranted to Nicole about the "Cody and Nicole are playing everyone" wall yeller weeks ago, and Dani told Da'Vonne about Ian being embarrassed and upset, and that she (Dani) keeps trying to hype him up. Da'Vonne learned about Dani's power at some point and asked if she was going to use it tomorrow. Dani said no, she can't do this again, and said she was thinking about using it for next week's HOH to sabotage them, so they'd have to make new enemies as well as be accused of not admitting they won that power. There were reactions out here when some thought Memphis started to say the n-word to Cody about David, and others thought it sounded like "idiot". Ian kept spinning and campaigning, and he told Dani and Nicole he needs four votes and doesn't care where they come from. He told them he has Nicole and Cody for sure (no), and he thought he could get Da'Vonne's and Kevin's but if he does, he'd lose Cody's. He said "I can fuckin do this, we're gonna have to finagle it really weird, but I can do this." He told Nicole not to lose faith in him and Dani said Nicole was just worried and sad. Ian said he's had enough people tell him they'd vote his way if others did, and he just needed to get those people on the same page. Nicole made it about her, not surprisingly, saying she's been sticking her neck out so much for him that people were starting to talk about her now. Da'Vonne told Tyler she has his vote, but then mouthed to us "I need him to go, just wait." There's no way to know if she meant wait til tomorrow or some point in the future. Nicole told Ian she wants to give him her vote but is worried if she's the only one it'll put a target on her. Dani told Tyler she doesn't expect a tie but if it is, she'll evict Ian. She told many of them that Ian was driving her crazy. Ian made a very long, used car salesman-sounding sales pitch to David, saying he didn't know if David had any F2 deals or not but if not, he's "weeks behind" and in trouble. And he said he'd wanted to work with David for awhile, and had said so in Diary. Ian offered F2, he'd never nominate him as HOH, he'd use veto on him if needed, and would never vote against him unless he was on the block with Nicole. David didn't mention his deal with Tyler but neither did Ian mention his. Ian did say Memphis said he wasn't voting for him. Ian offered all that in exchange for David's vote tomorrow and a request that he tell Enzo. Oh, and Ian said David could name their duo. David accepted, they shook hands, and David said he couldn't talk to everyone but he'd talk to Enzo. When David stepped out Ian said "you still got it Ian!" David did approach Enzo to say he thought Ian might be staying, and Enzo said he didn't think so. Remains of the pizzas and photo cake were cleaned up, faces were peeled off to save, and Have-nots officially ended again, but without fanfare since they'd been allowed food and booze at the party earlier. As of now, Ian is still going and I think Memphis is the only one who was honest with him about tomorrow's vote, plus this last minute maybe from Nicole and handshake with David. Ian's supposed allies apparently forgot all about jury management, and both Ian and Tyler have shown all of them and us that they think they deserve to win over everyone else.
