They'd previously discussed doing that since they don't trust David, and they figured Dani and Nicole were likely to throw it rather than have to choose who to save. Then things got confusing: Memphis wondered to Tyler why his nominees hadn't picked David, and he said "David's got to go." Then Memphis pulled Da'Vonne and Kevin aside and said everything worked out as he'd planned, and "you guys aren't going home, neither of you." He said he had to take a chance of David not getting picked and he was glad it happened that way, and that he'd already made a deal with everyone to throw it.Memphis then suggested to Nicole that she throw the comp or she'd have "the blood of David" on her hands. Nicole said she was okay with that but also wanted to win something. He said he was fine taking that blame but it was up to her. I believe Memphis had the same talk with Dani but I didn't catch it. I say all this is confusing because before noms yesterday, Memphis made a big deal about having a Plan but didn't tell anyone what it was, and he made his various F2/F3 Wise Guys deals with Enzo, Cody, Christmas, but not Tyler. Everyone in there and out here expected Memphis to be gunning for David, so why make it so complex and secretive if that is indeed his Plan? Maybe he had his eye on Tyler and when his chip was drawn, as it usually is, he had to fall back on this obvious and predictable backup plan. Maybe he had his eye on Nicole or Dani. Maybe we'll find out on Sunday's show from Diaries. Waiting around for their comp, several of them played pattycake. Yep, with the songs and everything. Tyler told Cody about Memphis asking him to throw the comp and they too questioned Memphis's Plan and the big secretive thing he made about it. Also they didn't like it because they're currently good with David, and they want Da'Vonne to go this week, figuring Dani and Nicole wanted to keep her around to help take Cody and Tyler out. They figured Dani convinced Memphis that David was targeting him, and they agreed they didn't want to evict David if he's OTB come Thursday. Cody said he'll tell Memphis that Dani told him about the (supposed?) Plan to backdoor David, and Tyler said he'd gun for the veto. Meanwhile Memphis and Dani laughed about how much drama Christmas will bring when she eventually hits the block. Our friends at @backyard_big got a shot of the backyard with a big maze installed. In the past they've had to find various stations in the maze, with a time limit, and potential for various disqualifications. It was done in individual runs and that usually means a long time to complete. Feeds were down about three and a half hours, and Tyler won the veto. Zingbot visited, and they had to find animals and cages in the maze and match them up based on details. Memphis told Da'Vonne and Kevin they're still safe, as he'd promised them, but said he has to talk to Tyler to be sure, adding he sees no reason anyone would keep David. Afterwards, Da'Vonne told Kevin she wasn't going to be kissing anyone's ass about it. (That's not at all what Tyler and Cody agreed before the comp.) Memphis and Tyler talked it over some, with Memphis annoyed that Dani and Nicole did well when they were "supposed" to throw it. Dani in particular finished with a good time, as did Memphis. Tyler balked a bit, and questioned, but Memphis said he thought Dani was saying too much in general. Meanwhile Christmas and Cody whisper-sputtered at each other about something related to all this - I'm sorry, but I can't follow them. Memphis and Cody met, and they agreed something weird was going on between Dani, Nicole, Da'Vonne. Christmas joined and Memphis said he'd try to get Tyler not to use it, and he said he'd deny that he wanted to backdoor David if anyone said that was his Plan. Tyler then joined and Memphis asked again why Dani and Nicole didn't throw it if they wanted Da'Vonne to stay. Cody told Nicole about his F3 with Memphis and Enzo, and told her not to push too hard for Da'Vonne to stay when she talks to Memphis. Remember that pinkyswear Christmas and Nicole made about being able to vent about Dani to each other? They made good use of it this evening. And among many other things, they also griped about their zings: Christmas's was she's cold, stress-inducing, and annoying, and Nicole's was hearing her voice makes people want to die and she whines and cries a lot. Christmas was snippy about hers at first but she justified it, like she does, as meaning she's getting the job done. Nicole's said hers was so bad and she was clearly upset about it while saying she wasn't. And she wondered why Dani got off so easy - apparently hers was she's old. Memphis told Cody about his pre-noms "deal" with David. It seems that Da'Vonne is the likely evictee as of now. I'm about at my limit with all the whispery what-ifs and paranoia anyway, so I'll await definite promises, deals, tears, raised voices, or even convos that feel legit to me. It still doesn't ring true in my opinion that Memphis's original Plan was simply to backdoor David, because why all the subterfuge if so, but here we are. Day 47 - Sunday - September 20, 2020This morning's extended soliloquy was courtesy of Kevin, who talked to us for a very long time. He laughed, he cried, he repeated himself. He said his zing was that he's boring, and he said that was the worst he could get. He said he knows what it's like to get to the end of the game and Da'Vonne doesn't, so he'd like that for her. Sorry Kevin, but I think she'd prefer that happen for the achievement than "for the experience." He said he shouldn't always be bashing Cody and the rest of them, "let them be who they are," and he said compared to most of them he is a potato. Then he ran "annoying or awesome" polls for each of the others and added his thoughts, which were highly perceptive for most, particularly Christmas. He said he could tell she's battling a lot of demons and "she's a mess" yet she presents herself as being fully together and she preaches about that, and he added "practice what you preach." I obliged him by running a Twitter poll for his first question about the boys alliances: an overwhelming 93.9% said annoying. It was an excruciatingly slow afternoon of lounging around the pool, chatting, and snacking. Christmas and Tyler talked about telling Da'Vonne in her farewell that Nicole was the vote against Ian that she and others blamed on David. They figured that would take Day's and Ian's finals votes away from Nicole, should she get there. That would also make Da'Vonne realize she wronged David, which would be a tough pill to swallow, but it's something she needs to know. All that would depend on whether she (and Ian) believe it, and an awful lot of truths this season have not been believed. It could also make for a very emotional exit interview with Julie. Since we're in jury now, I don't know if Julie could/would confirm or deny claims made in farewells. Kevin pitched a complicated Hail Mary lie plan to Da'Vonne to get Tyler to use his veto and get David up and out. They even talked about making things up, and Kevin added "like, burn all the bridges." Dani checked in with Da'Vonne, who said "there's so many layers to this" and "I'm trying to figure out how it got to this point." This happened shortly after the Sunday noms edit showed just how big a part Dani played in the Ian vote fiasco, and how gleefully she did it. Dani said she thought backdooring David was Memphis's Plan "unless there's a bigger picture" and Da'Vonne said "there is." Dani told her to try to get Tyler to use his veto and Da'Vonne should "try to get David up there." Meanwhile Christmas barked a workout in the backyard, and Memphis told Kevin he's "sitting pretty." Da'Vonne checked in with Kevin and told him she wants them both to stay, and she'll continue to work for that. He seemed to have backed off a bit from his Hail Mary idea, and that's probably a good thing because it wouldn't help anything, and could make his already-bad situation worse. They got yet another booze delivery, and several of them did a group chug to get started, with Have-not Christmas banging the counter and hollering CHUG CHUG CHUG. Da'Vonne talked to Dani about ways to get David up as renom, and Dani encouraged her in her idea of making up some lie to make that happen. Dani asked her about her Diary zings and what was her best one, and Da'Vonne said she wouldn't repeat it out here but "it was definitely about Flag Day." Elsewhere Enzo told Cody "Dani's all over the place" gamewise and "Christmas is crazy yo." Cody said he doesn't trust Dani and wondered by she and Nicole were hanging out with Da'Vonne so much. Da'Vonne and Kevin whispered some more about how they could get David put up as renom, and Kevin said re David's vote "he's a slave to his master" (meaning Tyler, I believe). Da'Vonne cut him off, saying "don't say that, that's not nice, don't say that" and feeds cut. They came back to Da'Vonne telling Kevin he couldn't say that, and feeds cut again. Enzo did some drunken beatboxing in the backyard between asking for more beer. Feeds went to extended starfishies not long after, and then to adoptable anipals at 10.18pm. I love sippy hamsters as a rule, but I'd rather a dry season than have blocked feeds when they get tipsy. That's some BB Canada logic and again, the two franchises need to start picking up some of the better traits of each other, rather than the worst. Feeds came back at 12.10am with Christmas in HOH with Memphis, telling him she thought Da'Vonne threw the veto comp (what?), Cody bouncing around being loud, Enzo being loud in another room not on feeds, Nicole in bed griping, Dani sitting around, and Da'Vonne acting normal but clearly nervousing about the veto meeting tomorrow. Da'Vonne asked Dani if the veto isn't used, "these boys are planning to vote me out?" Dani said yes, adding this week will be a battle and "there's a chance" to save Day, "we just have to find it." The guys got loud and stupid, Da'Vonne complained them blocking her from talking to Tyler about the veto, and Dani complained to Nicole about them locking them out, and said they'll have to "go through Christmas" to get Da'Vonne to stay. Dani also said she didn't want to go to F6 with the Committee, and she wanted Christmas, Memphis, and Tyler gone.
