Happy birthday Kaysar
Thursday primp-a-thon: they all prepare in their own way to say hi to JulieDanielle shampoos at the kitchen sink.. James shares mirror space with his hated enemy (to hear him tell it).. Marcellas is horizontal most of the time anymore
Live show shots are set up, and Janelle & Kaysar have what may be their last convo for awhile - watch the video - she asks him to get a message to Big Daddy, and that she's ready for revenge.. he says he's okay with going or staying, and that he feels betrayed
Then Kaysar walks the plank for the third time.. Julie doesn't even have to tell him to put his bag down
She seems almost gleeful to tell him about James & their alliance, and James' comments about Janelle
Kaysar says simply that he's not cut out for this game, and he's probably right.. maybe it could be played well with integrity, but not with the combination of blind faith, a harebrained strategy at the start to leave Will in there for a high octane endgame, and a very delayed reaction to what's been going on.. Kaysar's a good man and will do well - maybe that lecture tour & best-seller will be along before we know it
Out to the toll booths and another controversy as Howie says his buzzer didn't buzz.. why do they insist on doing these HOH comps live when this stuff keeps happening? Because they're just putting on a tv show - details are irrelevant.. no telling what Howie's answer would have been anyway.. Erika becomes HOH and there's a sheep
The sheep is a clue to the first word in a "well-known phrase that applies to the Big Brother game" (as in Ewe Have Been Evicted) - the first hamster to guess correctly in Diary (only one guess each) will be able to overthrow the HOH and name replacement nominees on the spot on one of the next three eviction shows, just before they vote
Danielle uses her one guess early: DNA DoNotAssume (because of Dolly the cloned sheep).. technically DNA isn't a word though, and the DNA thingy just had a one season (disastrous) run so it isn't necessarily a phrase that applies to the game
Step aside, Erika
They fuss with co-exec producer Allison Grodner behind the flames and WAY TOO LOUD music for awhile and eventually return for another HOH comp to fix this latest production screwupIt sounds like Julie phones in this time - she asks "Can you hear me?" along with her usual "power up for grabs" spiel.. they start close to 11pm and she has to start her day job in a few hours
Before you know it, the wind is already out of next week's coup sails when Janelle wins the second HOH of the evening
Watch the videos: up to the final question - the final question & the win.. call me cynical (can you blame me at this point?) but the combination of Julie sounding stunned when she said Janelle was wrong and out of the first comp, combined with the camera work on the re-do video is peculiar to say the least.. watch F3: it stays on Janelle through virtually the entire comp, except when the question Erika misses is asked
They sit around awhile, eating & drinking, griping in private.. James lectures Janelle & Howie for awhile.. then it's HOH room time again - Janelle's disappointed it's not pink but she likes her stuff and at least we get to go along this time
Will stays behind and pushes his agenda (keep Danielle & dump Marcellas) and Janelle pushes hers (dump Danielle or Erika) - watch the video.. it continues at least another hour after this.. Janelle affirms that James is on their team again/still.. sigh
Needless to say, things aren't happy in the red room (redrum).. at one point the camera moves from Danielle to HATE to Danielle again.. James explains all to his new team, including what Kaysar's about - watch the video.. it goes on a long time after this too
Upstairs Janelle promises revenge and exchanges choruses of "O boy Howie" with Howie's "O boy Janey" but things go from bad to worse downstairs.. resentment is broken up for a minute by James dragging Danielle plus bedding to Diary, but it returns to what it was when Erika starts crying, like she does.. the camera also pans from her to HATE and back to her again at one point
Erika says "It's not fair" everyone competed in the 2nd comp since Janelle got one wrong in the first one, and she has a point.. Marcellas basically says suck it up since they've made it to sequester and $25,000, and he has a point - watch the video
A Halloween visit to The Little Farm
The most pleasant arrivals in the house are gone as soon as they arrive.. one's painted as a villain (surprise)
If you add up the airfare, the paychecks and the special effects to generate this hokey bit, you'd think they could have shelled out a couple bucks for functional buzz-in buzzers
That's it for today.. the site is overloaded and while being fourth most viewed YouTube channel today is kinda cool (and kinda sick), it isn't helping anything.. I've pulled the URL from my profile there.. it's a catch-22

  No vote (HOH)All signs point to a Willboogie finish but she & Marcellas are still the only ones without black & white photos in the show's opening credits. She told James on his HOH night 'When I find out people are capable of lying.. I want them out.' Well, she knows what James is capable of and she kept him so we can file that speech away with her others. Self righteousness isn't appealing to me and I won't be watching her much from here on out. |

  No vote (nominee)Nullified Janelle 'Best actor award for BB7'? Hardly.. everyone and their pet sheep can see this guy nervousing a mile away and the signs he's lying are as transparent as his lies are. I'll give him credit for holding so much hostility inside, even if it is Day 39 and we're long overdue for an explosion and fight. His anger management skills are impressive but I don't think he got them from a class.. his style is more likely to lead to a future of ulcers and/or hard drinking. Mostly he bores the crap out of me and I won't be watching him much from here on out. |
  HEAD OF HOUSEHOLDVTE James (Nullified) I don't think her second attempt win was completely on the up & up but that's between them and the producers (I've given up hoping for a legit game) and while I'd rather see her upstairs readying a roaring rampage of revenge, she still has selective amnesia when it comes to James. Like so many things this season, that doesn't add up and never will. She and Will are still the most likeable and watchable in there but I'm disappointed and befuddled by her game this year. |
  VTE KaysarHe's whiny, he's bitter, and he's got a chip on his shoulder the size of his ego but he's been the voice of reason twice this week (who'da thunk it?) Tuesday he told the scaredy-cats/actors that the 'ghosts' (aka people they know holding red flashlights) was no big deal - people are in the walls 24/7 there; and tonight he told Erika to basically STFU and realize they all got $25k richer tonight by not ending up in Julie's boudoir. |
  VTE KaysarHe said Diary yelled at him for calling Julie 'sweetie' last time so he opted for 'Jules' instead. He still owns them all - including the producers - and it boggles the mind how easily these supposed 'all-stars' are all taken in by him day after day when they all know his game. Unlike his Mini-me James and fellow string-puller Danielle, he does it for the most part with humor and without trash talk & character assassination. Just give him the money already so the rest of us can go home. |
    He said his heart wasn't in it this year and that he was saving his big moves for later: both fatal in the BB house, and not kicking out Will when he could was pivotal to the season. But he shaved his head for the game and stopped twisting his hair too. Good to see him again and overnighters especially will miss him. |
   Sadly, she didn't stand a chance this year. She came in defeated & involved in a feud, and lost all her partners. Mrs. Smith didn't give us the fireworks she's capable of but she's always an all-star in my book and I wish her well. |
   His alliances and behavior were all over the map this time and both got him kicked out. He went out the back door again but it wasn't intentional this time. So long, mirror-face. |
   Not the most charismatic and she didn't start playing in time, but each side kicked her out so the other couldn't have her. Kudos to her for having the guts to return. |
   She worked out and hid in a vase but the potential for catfights & dramatics left with her. She didn't live up to her skanky rep: good for her, bad for us. |
