They did their migration to HOH for the weekly lockdown to arrange their napping cocoons so the crew could get all their lighting and camera angles and timing ready downstairs for tonight's show. Dani told Memphis about her power and told him she was "willing" to use it today so he could play for HOH again. Clearly she was hoping for safety in return, which she could get if he wins again, but she isn't aware of how many side deals he has nor how easily he'll make deals just to break them. Time will tell.Rumors and speculation continue to swirl about the Neighbor, including Cody and Kevin thinking they heard what sounded like Jordan in the backyard. I'll go out on my shaky limb to predict the ball pit comp, with Paul on the balcony to holler at them as they hunt. That would be an easy comp to adapt for an additional player, and he's local, has hosted it before, and he can yell. Nicole told Christmas something about Da'Vonne, with the required "don't say anything." I didn't hear what it was between the strobing starfishies, but Christmas said "Jesus Christ no wonder she's side-eyeing with me this morning" and "my God she's a fucking.." Christmas then went to meet with Da'Vonne, starting with the ritual sharing of Christmas chocolate she'd been planning. A lot of it was blocked but we did get Da'Vonne saying it isn't about her, but that no Black people have sat in the Final Two chairs since BB3 Danielle, and she's fought her ego and pride this season to tell herself "shut up, there's work to be done." Christmas made a lot of "mm-hmm" noises through that. Da'Vonne told her she has three votes and would like to get a fourth, but told Christmas they have a couple hours and she didn't need an answer right away. She said she'd understand if voting to keep Day contradicts Christmas's plans in the game. Christmas said "well this took a different turn, and I love it!" Day said she still has three people to talk to, and they agreed they're at the point where "it's about to get ugly." Da'Vonne told Christmas she can confirm her votes if she likes, that she knows who two of the three are, but she'd like to keep the third anonymous. At one point Christmas used the term "pump the brakes" conversationally, regarding the game. Awkward. Christmas also said "I have a very masculine personality and I think you do too, that's why we didn't click." The show recap covered main events of the last few days, notably the fallout from Nicole's vote against Ian which kept falling, plus Memphis's many Wise Guys which actually happened before last Friday's noms. They gave Christmas somewhat of a puppetmaster edit but they also used a clunk-clunk-clunk sound effect rather than her usual jingle bells. We did get a David Diary showing his relief that someone finally believed him about his vote (Christmas), but we didn't get a thing from those lost 22 hours, even though we know there was drama. Da'Vonne gave a lengthy and eloquent speech, singling out Cassandra Waldon, Danielle Reyes, and Tamar Braxton as hamster role models, and Kevin added to that with "diversity doesn't end in Zoom meetings" and "representation matters, including gender representation." Da'Vonne also said she'd asked people to let her know their votes so she'd be prepared and some didn't, and she added jury management is important. Julie echoed Da'Vonne's mention of Cassandra, saying rest in peace, but wrongly corrected her last name to Waldron, landing her on the Goof Tally. Da'Vonne was evicted 5-2, with Dani and Nicole the dissenting votes to evict Kevin. Nicole's jewelry got stuck in Da'Vonne's hair for a second at their hug, and Day said "it's Nicole's fault, it's Nicole's fault" good-naturedly, yet with meaning. She told Julie she was relieved that it was over, and she said she thought they kept Kevin because he can be puppeted and she can't. Julie said she's a fan, and she played farewells from Kevin, Tyler, David, Nicole. Tyler and Nicole both outted their six-person alliance, and Nicole finally confessed her vote lie. Da'Vonne already knew, though we still don't know all the details of how, but she played along and told Julie she gets it game-wise but personally, she said she'd told Nicole it was bigger than that and she'd stressed the importance of her not blaming David unfairly for that, but Nicole still lied. Julie said they'll do an extended QA that will be at BB Rewind (and/or the show's Facebook.) The new "neighbor" was Dr Will (so scratch my Paul prediction, fortunately), who stepped onto the backyard balcony in a personalized bathrobe with BB coffee mug, which the remaining nine watched on their monitor. He said they can go for power or prizes in the next HOH and veto, and that they'd see him again. HOH comp and whether Dani let Memphis use her power won't be on the show til Sunday, and Julie told us the veto comp will be OTEV, and that next week's two hour show will be a live triple eviction. Feeds came back a little after 10pm and Cody had won the HOH comp. It was a ball-whacking comp (so I was wrong on that too), hitting targets, with a golf theme, and there were two $5,000 prizes that were won but nobody was claiming them initially. Tyler later told Cody and Christmas he got one of them. Dani used her Replay power and Memphis played. Feeds came back to most of them eating, David was intensely cleaning the pantry fridge, and Christmas was grouchy. She told Nicole and Memphis she didn't win anything in the comp, and she "wanted to compete, not play these fuckin kid games!" Cody picked Enzo for Have-not - actually Enzo volunteered, as a diet plan, and Christmas picked Kevin, who said he wished she'd given him a heads-up. (He really doesn't know her yet, does he?) Cody plans to nominate David and Kevin (surprise!). He told Memphis he wasn't looking forward to pre-noms meetings. Enzo gave Kevin and David a kind of peptalk, talking like he was on the outs as much as them, saying they had to turn things around and start winning comps because "They got the votes! They can do the fuck whatever they want." Kevin vented a lot to Enzo, and summarized everything perfectly when he said "they serve us shit in a pie, and then they're like 'because I'm putting it in pie format, you should be happy' - brah, it's still shit!" Memphis told Christmas that Dani had the Replay power that let him compete tonight, and Dani later told Tyler. Reminder, if you missed what came before, check my previous episode, always linked up top or from my season index, and get the feeds to catch anything you missed with Flashback! Day 52 - Friday - September 25, 2020Enzo and Cody discussed Cody's nomination plans, still Kevin and David, with Kevin the target. Enzo said Kevin told him about Dani's power, and that he (Kevin) was upset with Dani and Nicole because they lied about their votes. Kevin also told Cody about Memphis's other Wise Guys trio with him and Christmas. (Much later, Enzo told Cody both alliances had the same name.) Cody said if Kevin comes down with veto he'd put up Christmas as renom and she'd be the target. David took Christmas's Have-not "ice cream" out of the fridge. She said she was saving it for Enzo but said it's okay, she can remember how to make it. She then shook her fist and said jokingly "damn you and your cleaning habits!" I only mention this in case she wasn't actually joking and it comes up later. Cody double-talked to David and told him without openly saying so that he'd be going up as a pawn. David finally admitted to him he had the Disruptor power. When Memphis's turn came, he told Cody that the Replay power was Dani's and Cody played along like that was news to him. Dani told Tyler the two votes to evict Kevin were probably Christmas and David, but Cody said Dani was definitely one of them, and David wasn't. Cody told Nicole about the Memphis, Christmas, Enzo trio, and Tyler told Cody that Enzo, Christmas, Kevin have a side deal (what?)Finally came Kevin's turn to meet with Cody. Each was both accusatory and defensive as they rehashed the season week by week, and "tit for tat" kept coming up. Kevin kept saying Cody didn't talk to him about various events and Cody kept saying it wasn't his responsibility. Cody kept up his rapid-fire double-talk and sprinkling "like" after every fourth or fifth word, like he does. Kevin asked if he is going on the block, did Cody also tell the other person going up with him that they aren't the target? Cody said no. (He did actually guarantee David that he isn't the target.) The convo continued to escalate, with Cody eventually telling Kevin he'd be going on the block, and Kevin finally said "the world doesn't revolve around you." Cody said he was just throwing digs now and Kevin apologized, saying he wasn't trying to be petty, he was just trying to play the game. Kevin got some good lucks in for sure, but it could have been a rip-roaring good time if he'd done it all in his Diary persona. Cody got more and more worked up as he retold to Dani, with "the world doesn't revolve around you" his major sticking point. Cody said something about it all being due to his looks, and "don't ruin the integity of an All-star season because you're bitter" about Kevin's jury vote. Cody also told Dani that Christmas had asked him to let her know if her name comes up from anyone. (This was after Cody told Enzo she'd be his renom and target if Kevin comes off with veto.) They decided to oblige that request by telling Christmas "someone" (Kevin) said she'd said she'd pick him for Have-not "to weaken him." It was Tyler who told Cody that. Cody nominated David and Kevin, as planned - David's third time and Kevin's fifth. Feeds came back to the usual post-noms feeding frenzy getting underway for most, and David telling us in the lounge that it's the same thing every week. Christmas joined him and said from Cody's speech, it sounded like David wasn't Cody's target, and she said "just win the fucking veto, shove it down their fucking throats." Tyler and Nicole wondered what was up with the speech too, and the Cody/Kevin talk earlier, with Tyler saying he and Enzo heard their raised voices. Both said they wanted to know what happened. Kevin then retold his Cody convo to David, and Dani and Nicole went through the pantry to toss out old and expired food. Enzo then joined David for an Enzo-esque peptalk about how fun this part of the season is when everyone gets cutthroat, "let's go to war now!" Cody retold his Kevin convo to various of them including Christmas, and he mentioned the thing about her picking him for Have-not "to weaken him" - she said "100% not true." She then went on a rant to herself/us about how much she's done for Kevin including highly exaggerated game things, as well as giving him her fried rice. Cody continued retelling and ranting about Kevin, and was still stuck on it five hours later. David pitched a deal to Kevin that if one comes off the block with veto, they wouldn't vote out the other. Kevin agreed, they shook on it, and they rehashed the season again. David pointed out how bad it would look in general if they're the next two out. Kevin said at least being on the block so much he'll be on the show a lot. Most of them went to bed by 10.35pm.
