Daily Feeds RecapsDay 86 - Thursday 9/12/19Cliff and Nicole revved up gametalk first thing, from their beds. Holly was a certain goner but after last night's chaos with Jackson's eavesdropping and subsequent lie, tables turned and as of this morning, Cliff and Nicole flipped back to planning to evict Tommy. But first Nicole sat down with Tommy, with Cliff present and Holly eavesdropping, to ask if he'd told Jackson about his offer to throw the HOH comp, and Tommy said no, "that's a big fat lie." (True, Tommy did make the offer to Cliff and Nicole, but he never told Jackson about it.) Nicole said she wanted to get everything out in the open and she called a house meeting at 11.08am, saying it was something she'd always wanted to do. Unfortunately for us, that coincided with the usual Thursday HOH lockdown for tech rehearsal and feeds didn't come back as they usually do, so we'll have to rely on later retells to find out how it went.Meanwhile a surprise: tonight's HOH comp will be on feeds! Sign up to watch live if you haven't already! This is unusual at this stage, but so is the endgame schedule. Julie should clarify for us tonight if they're doing a "special" (taped) eviction next week like usual, or if fourth place will go out on Thursday like any normal week. Hopefully they'll also revert to letting us watch Part 1 on feeds, especially after withholding today's shenanigans from us. Julie announced the day had been drama and told us we'd see that on Sunday's show (edited version, of course). They did recap Tommy's offer to throw the HOH, Jackson eavesdropping on his retell of that, and deciding to create a lie around it. Tommy was evicted 2-0, he came out with a cartwheel, and told Julie it was indeed a lie (but you knew that already). Julie announced next week as normal, including live eviction on Thursday, breaking the VERY longstanding tradition of After Dark morning taping, taped eviction, and a 36-hour feeds block. She sent Cliff, Nicole, Holly out to their HOH comp titled Crash and Turn, in BB Stunt Camp setting, complete with flames. They had to stand on discs that would spin and revolve through a "stunts" setting with wrecked cars, and foam trucks crashing into them periodically. She started them at 6.53pm, feeds came on just after 7pm and Cliff was off, and then Holly was off, giving Nicole the win in under 10 minutes. Jackson asked Holly if she told Cliff and Nicole she'd throw "the veto" and Holly nodded, saying "it was conditional, they came to me with it." That may have been a veto/HOH wording mixup by Jackson, or she may have offered both? There was a handshake glimpsed behind Julie during the show, with Cliff and Nicole shaking Holly's hand, so that may have been what that was about. Holly told Nicole "I kept my word" after she dropped, and later confirmed to Jackson she had indeed thrown it. The final four hugged, rehashed the day and the season again, and did their usual kumbaya session. Nicole confessed she'd told Jessica about the deal that Jessica blabbed about all over town the night before Kat was evicted, and that she was a self-proclaimed "megafan" since BB10. When Nicole and Holly wandered off, Cliff and Jackson shook on a deal they'd "made tonight" that they'd both cut Holly if either of them wins the final veto, and they'd go to finale with Nicole. Cliff reported that to Nicole, who was fine with the idea. Later Cliff and Jackson super-shmoozed each other over how much they want to be in finals together and either would be honored to lose to each other. Jackson broke down to Holly about having screwed over Tommy, saying he loved him, he's such a great guy, and "I never wanted to hurt anybody in this game, I never wanted to make it personal, I never wanted to see someone cry because of me." Well quite a number of hamsters have cried because of him, including Holly who was comforting him, several times, but details, details. He eyed the camera at one point, and she said none of today's mess would have happened if Cliff and Nicole hadn't wavered on their deal. Nicole hollered about her room at 10.45pm and the quartet marched up there for the last HOH room of the season. Nicole got photos of her sisters and her doggie, unicorn pegasus socks, a holographic unicorn hat, more nail polish, an owl onesie from Pop, Seagram's drinks, the usual excess of snacks and candy and cereal, music by Eric Church (via group request), and a letter from sister Kayla. Since nominations are basically pointless and they were all exhausted after a late stressful night and stressful day, nobody lingered long. Nicole reread her letter aloud, praised her family and Cliff, and talked about being happy to be guaranteed final three, getting her HOH robe, and not going to jury house. And she said she hoped she has some supporters out here, that she's been doing her best, and she apologized to viewers who might have a problem with her flip-flopping or her votes. Jackson sobbed some more to Holly before they switched to their cuddly slurpy mode. They regathered again later in HOH for another round of snacks, analysis, what-if, backgammon, and kumbaya. Cliff told us in his bedtime monologue that he'd take Nicole to finals if he wins the final HOH, despite his agreement with Jackson. Jackson's side of that agreement may have been just as hollow. Day 87 - Friday 9/13/19Feeds went to puppies and kitties around 9am, maybe for the tiny table or maybe some event was scheduled before they knew they'd have yesterday's drama for Sunday's show - we'll find out. I'm pleased they brought back Puppycam and Kittycam this season, it's far superior for scheduled downtime than running Jeff segments or prior season episodes. And a reminder, all the feeds anipals are adoptables from Rancho Coastal Humane Society of Encinitas, CA. Visit them or your local shelter to find your new best friend!Feeds came back at 1.23pm and the tiny table for four had been installed, and they'd done a competition about changes made to the habitat. Jackson won and got $10,000 for that, and Ovi had been there. They said it was fun, but Jackson said he'd rather have had family videos than cash. He also said he hoped that winning that cash wouldn't cost him more money (referring to finalist prizes, since that's the same amount as the third place bonus). Cliff was upset, and he later told Nicole (again) about his and Jackson's final three deal, and that Jackson had agreed to take him to final two, but that he (Cliff) would definitely take Nicole if it's up to him, as he'd told us last night. Cliff had a check-in with Jackson to clarify their deals, and Cliff told him he'd take Nicole to final two if it's up to him. Jackson reported to Holly, who seemed surprised to hear Jackson had agreed to take Cliff, and he said Cliff had backtracked on their deal, but he'd take Holly anyway if it's up to him. They agreed they'd boot Cliff if either wins veto. In HOH, Nicole muttered to herself "sketchy, sketchy, sketchy." Then Jackson/Holly and Cliff/Nicole met separately to discuss the other duo, and deals, and blah blah blah. Nicole held pre-nom meetings just for fun and for the formality, because they all knew Jackson and Holly would be her noms, and they all knew noms don't even matter at this stage since everything comes down to the veto. They gathered to stare at the screen after the ceremony, being the first time Holly's photo had appeared there. Not long after, they all went horizontal again. The only noteworthy item after that was Holly telling Cliff and Nicole that she'd told Jackson she will gun for the veto (her earlier offer to throw it was canceled by mutual agreement), and that she'd cut Jackson if she wins it, and Jackson told the same to Cliff. Holly and Jackson compared retells with each other with glee and a fistbump because of course it was BS. And they agreed not to "oversell" it to Cliff and Nicole. Day 88 - Saturday 9/14/19The day started like most others lately, hamsters coming together, separating, and coming together again. Nicole and Cliff both held monologues with us, Nicole saying she's going to win this veto and have a say in who goes to finale with her and Cliff, and reassuring herself and us that it'll be her and Cliff in the finals chairs, and Cliff saying he has been and will stay true to his character, and predicting some out here will love him and some will hate him, and both expressing shock and awe that they made it this far. Basically the same spiels from all four of them they've been running for a week or two now, as they and we waited for the final veto comp.Jackson won the final veto. Feeds were down just shy of five hours for their comp, which was title Win and You're In, and done in individually timed runs. They had questions about season events (never won an HOH, didn't get a punishment in space veto, etc) and they had to shoot balls with a slingshot to knock out faces or cutouts of hamsters that filled the criteria for each question. If they got anything wrong, the round was reset and they had to fetch all their balls and start over. Cliff said he had trouble hitting the targets and Nicole said running for the balls was the worst part. They had one hour each to complete their runs and I didn't catch Jackson's time but they finished in age order: Jackson, Nicole 2 minutes behind him, Holly 17 minutes, Cliff 38 minutes. Cliff narrated his run with Cliffisms and encouraging words, Nicole said she talked to the cutouts and cussed up a storm when she missed, Holly said nothing but used her inhaler a lot, and Jackson said he felt light-headed and almost had a panic attack. Shortly after feeds returned, Jackson was called to Diary and Holly met him at the door. She said something I couldn't catch, and he snapped at her saying "this is happiness Holls, this is me being fuckin happy! Shit!" and he turned away from her. She said "okay, I love you" as he went into Diary, seeming angry. Holly told Cliff and Nicole "everything's okay, I don't know if he's happy or mad, I'm the one going home, I should be crying." He came out soon after and went to pray, and when Holly tried to approach him again he snapped at her again to give him a minute, and he said to himself he's going to finale with Holly. Then they entwined around each other, like they do, and celebrated their win and road to finale. At the same time Cliff told Nicole he thought Jackson would keep his word and evict Holly, but if not and he (Cliff) gets played, he'll shake Jackson's hand and go out with his head held high. Comp retells gradually began to wind down and they reverted to their usual patterns of season rehashes and food prep. I'm not expecting much later but if something interesting or unusual or funny does happen, I'll add it here. Get the feeds to see it all unfold live and/or with flashback! Day 89 - Sunday 9/15/19Morning was quiet. Cliff slept late, still under the weather after yesterday's comp, and Nicole talked about her life and her self-discovery in there, and she narrated her morning, her breakfast, her pool game, and her escape from a cicada harassing her. Jackson and Holly cuddled and talked about their position in there, and Jackson ran his as-expected answer to Tommy's expected juror question about his Big Lie. He also said to Holly "you and I, we weren't really doing that much manipulating, the only thing I have is shit with Tommy." He probably should include their current lies to Cliff and Nicole about this week and next but he didn't, at least in this round. Then he snapped at her for not wanting to respond to the "change your batteries" reminder because "there's only four of us! Don't get mad at me, I don't want either one of us to get a penalty vote!" They changed their batteries, and went for a "shower."Ants were discovered in the kitchen, atop the fridge, not surprisingly swarming in the candy they'd left there. Hamsters were disgusted but Team Ants aficionados cheered. Jackson told Nicole he'll be cutting Cliff tomorrow, and said it was because he'd been planning to go against their F4 at the Tommy/Holly vote, plus a lot of words about being a man of his word "until it's not reciprocated." Cliff arrived so he didn't get to the actual words but it was obvious where he was going, and he did say "this is the final three right here." Nicole went inside saying "it's my own fault, it's my own fault." Jackson followed her in and they went to HOH to discuss/explain/argue it out, where they were joined by Holly. Nicole grew frustrated and upset, saying "I'm officially the dodo bird that put a showmance in final three." Jackson and Holly swore they'd never wavered on their F4 deal (lie), and Jackson told her about the deals Cliff made this week without her, and offered to give Cliff a warning before his veto speech tomorrow if Nicole wanted him to. Nicole went to Diary, and Jackson and Holly went to work with spray and traps to attempt to counter Team Ants, and they tossed all the candy and snacks from atop the fridge. Jackson then cleaned out the inside of the fridge, tossing most of what was in there. Nicole told Cliff about Jackson's plans to drop a bombshell speech at the veto meeting and cut Cliff at the vote. She said she'd told Jackson and Holly she wouldn't tell him, but figured the worst that could happen would be she gets cut on finale and that was going to happen anyway. Cliff said he wasn't surprised, and it was okay, and he half suspected as much. Cliff then went to Jackson to say Nicole had told him, and they talked in the living room while Nicole watched from HOH on the spyscreen and ranted to herself. Jackson ran his loops about man of his word etc, and Cliff ran his about it's a game, and they agreed to disagree over who betrayed whom first and why. Cliff then went to retell to Nicole, and Jackson to Holly. Incidentally, there were a lot of references to Cliff's health and "we can't talk about yesterday" so it seems he definitely had problems at the veto comp, maybe heat-related, but he's okay. They got tie-dye kits last night and decided to do that today, but gametalk revelations came along and tie-dye still hadn't happened as of 10pm. The not-really-Snapchat goggles came out, maybe for the last time. They posed for that and Nicole took pics of random things around the habitat. They got Jenga tonight, giant industrial size, and they all played that for one tower's worth. During that game, Jackson hollered "noooooo!!" from the pantry and the others guessed correctly that he'd dropped and killed a watermelon. He salvaged some of it, and had Holly clean up the rest. Retells of the day's events carried on, in solo monologues to cameras and in pairs, and occasionally with all of them. They all ran the usual loops: it's game/not personal, it's hard being there, it's almost over, they love each other, they're happy they got this far, and blah blah blah. Nicole was hard on herself at times, but said she'll go for the final comps so she can sit in one of those finalist chairs next week. Get the feeds to see it all unfold live and/or with flashback!
