Daily Feeds RecapsDay 79 - Thursday 9/5/19Several of them studied the photo wall in case they have a comp about their faces tonight, along with the usual studying of days and events here and there. Habitat cleaning happened, and Jessica worried about her speech to Christie. They've all wondered about and half expected a double eviction every week but tonight's should take them by as much surprise as possible. All indications are still that Jessica will go first, and then we go into Dueling Duos to see which of them will go second and who will be left as a solo artist. In other news, Big Brother 22 was officially announced for next summer, with Julie still in place as host. Show recaps included Jackson saying the other duos weren't on to his and Holly's double-dipping, and both duos acknowleding they did know (things you too already knew if you've been keeping up here). Julie then wasted no time telling them it was a double eviction, and she also told them there would be no jury battle-back. Speeches were made, and Jessica was evicted 4-0. The first HOH comp was On Thin Ice, in which they had to build the surface of an "ice rink" lane with large puzzle pieces, then grab their hockey stick and hit a ball down their lane to make a goal. When Julie said Nicole was on her final piece, Cliff removed one of his correct pieces, presumably so she'd get the win. Nicole did finish her lane first, but missed her first shot. Tommy finished his lane, but Nicole scored with her second attempt and won her first HOH. She dropped to the ground, overcome and thrilled. Nicole nominated Christie and Tommy, and they all played for veto. It was What The Bleep, where they were shown seven video clips from speeches throughout the season, with a word or phrase bleeped out. Julie gave them a possible answer for what was bleeped and they selected true or false. Speech clips and results were: #1 Kat - all correct; #2 Jessica - all correct; #3 Kemi - all correct; #4 Analyse - Tommy, Jackson wrong; #5 Jack - Holly, Tommy, Jackson wrong; #6 Sam - Holly, Nicole wrong; #7 Bella - Christie, Nicole wrong. Cliff won the veto with the only perfect score. Cliff did not use it, so Christie and Tommy remained on the block. Jackson sipped coffee during Christie's speech, and he voted to evict her with glee. She was evicted 3-0 and Julie asked her a question about the universe, and she also asked her about having Tommy in there with her. Links to their extended interviews are down below in Links of the Day. The second HOH comp will also take place later tonight, not on feeds, hosted by Swaggy and Bayleigh (UPDATE or not). Julie told us this week's veto will be BB Comics. As of now, everyone remaining has been HOH, and only Holly hasn't touched the block. Feeds went to puppies at 8.09pm, presumably for the second HOH comp, but when they came back at 10pm for After Dark to start, they still hadn't had their comp, Nicole was still wearing the room key, and they all seemed relatively relaxed. Holly was still working on her second sick day, complaining of stomach issues and anxiety. Tommy seemed a little down but Nicole apologized to him and said she had to do what she had to do, saying it was both invigorating and horrifying. He said of course he understood, and he was pleased for her HOH win as well as now having gotten his first block experience done and behind him. Jackson and Holly were off by themselves but then joined the others in the RV room. Nicole got her basket at 11.24pm and was overjoyed. Her family pics made her cry, as did all her goodies, as she went through everything. She got unicorn slippers, unicorn headband, unicorn mask, unicorn poop candy, rosé wine, socks, heart glasses, rainbow things, an owl mug from Pop, a hat, nail polish, holographic stickers, the usual assortment of cereals and snacks, and her sunflower shirt from home. She read her letter from mom and dad, and was simply thrilled with all of it, and all the others were genuinely happy for her. Holly kept talking about being sick, asking Jackson what she should and shouldn't eat, making out with him, and talking about vomiting in excruciating, disgusting detail - #Bething at its worst. There were no indications why the HOH comp didn't happen like it always does on a Thursday night after a double, until Cliff went to bed and chatted to a camera. He told Sharon and us he'd never had an asthma attack in his life but he thought he had one tonight, and he added that he's okay now. So while they might not postpone a comp for one illness, they might for two, between him and Holly. Get the feeds to see it all unfold live and/or with flashback! Day 80 - Friday 9/6/19They were woken up early around 8am, then feeds went down for their HOH comp around 9.20am. When they came back a little after 11am Jackson had won the HOH, again. They herded together over backgammon, and Holly let slip they'd been given some booze for the comp, likely to liven them up at the early hour (they often do that for veto comps also). Swaggy and Bayleigh showed up, and Jackson said he told him he didn't like him on the show as he came across too cocky, but said he was great today. Apparently he or Bayleigh hinted to Jackson that he was being portrayed more positively than he feared. Nicole spent a little more time gazing at her pics and praying, Tommy got emotional, and Holly seemed fully recovered though she scored zero in the HOH comp. There were movie posters of them and they had audio clues in rounds, with whoever buzzed in first winning the round. Components included stars, adults versus teens, and "BB originals." Jackson said he'd asked Diary for playing cards and got "a hard no."The small group trotted up to Jackson's third HOH room, after he broke the Diary door coming out to holler. He got pics of his buddies and his dog Maggie, a letter from his buddy Duff, nine watermelons, an elephant from a hometown pottery company (after introducing it as his grandma's pottery company plus backstory about that, before he saw the label), cologne, lotion, sunglasses, a trucker visor, bacon brittle, an owl blanket from Pop they all loved, wine, ice cream, and the usual assortment of cereals and snacks. His music was Backstreet Boys, which he requested for Nicole since she didn't get all her perks. He also offered her the room for the week, which she declined, but said she might sleep one night up there. They now have four bottles of stockpiled wine between them, and they decided they'd pool it tomorrow. Pre-nom meetings began with Cliff, who said he knew it had to be him or Nicole up against Tommy, and he said he didn't care as it would come down to veto. Tommy was next, and Jackson gave him the same spiel about it being about veto, and he ran a list of Christie crimes. Jackson nominated Cliff and Tommy, and feeds came back to the usual hugs but with even more good spirits and camaraderie than usual. Tommy acted happy to see his photo on the noms screen for the first time and Holly did some little random #Bething dances. She and Jackson were in especially good moods, canoodling openly on the dining room bench as some dinner prep began a few yards away. Tommy said "we made it, top five! People won't forget us!" and Cliff joked "I can see it now: the worst cast in 21 years of Big Brother, but these are the five that were the top of the worst cast." They thought that was funny but the joke will be on them when they get out, because it's arguably true. Nicole donned her sunflower shirt and unicorn slippers, and put on new hat backwards, and enjoyed some of her HOH snacks and shared them around. Tommy ate a water chestnut, causing some panic by someone (not him), but he survived, as it is a vegetable rather than a nut, as Jackson correctly said. Holly of course had a lengthy story about a friend with allergies and epi-pens, as did Cliff. Jackson and Holly tried to be funny by saying there's a drought in Los Angeles so they should do their part by showering together. No mention was made if the infamous shower sex stool had ever been reinstalled or not. Holly came up with a myriad of new symptoms today (as she usually does when facing the risk of going on the block) including headache, more stomach issues, and tingling hands and feet, and she asked if her nervous system was shutting down. Jackson wasn't impressed and said maybe she should self-evict. Tommy joined the monologue-to-a-camera club, and held a long session from his bed in tandem with Cliff doing the same from his bed in another room. Cliff's have become repetitive and monotonous, particularly when he's halfway to sleep and he goes into a sleepy monotone to repeat the same things again. Jackson and Holly laid around in the HOH bed but still offered the room and their "used" bed to Nicole. Jackson laid the shmooze on extra thick with Nicole as they talked about this veto and the next, before Cliff joined them to talk-block after Diary called him in from his bed. They patted themselves on the back a lot more for getting to this point, another theme that's getting tired fast, and they discussed strategies for playing BB Comics veto. (They didn't know it'll be that veto but it was a logical and accurate guess.) Holly didn't participate a lot, but feedmasters zoomed in on her anyway. She and Jackson turned the room over to Nicole for the night, including a discussion of which pillows had been on the bathroom floor - Nicole got her own from downstairs after that, and Jackson reminded Holly to do something with her piled up stunt hair. Tommy left his monologue bed to sleep in Camp Have-not because it wasn't overheated like the bedrooms. Nicole held a monologue from the HOH bed then studied with the checkerboard, and Jackson and Holly had another tiff in their old archery room bed when she griped more about her body shutting down, he farted, she got annoyed, and he told her to stop being dramatic. Day 81 - Saturday 9/7/19As always on a Saturday, they waited around for their veto comp, nervousing. Cliff, Nicole, Jackson discussed techniques for the comics veto and the usual zipline setup. Last year's wasn't a zipline but they rarely if ever mentioned that, and no matter because an overhead shot of the yard last night looked like this year is back to the normal setup. It looked like Holly stuck all her stunt hair into an inhumanely giant braid, as she listed the day's complaints to Tommy. They included last night's tingly hands and feet, along with being "a little wheezy" and "trouble breathing deeply," and her "whole body is still weak and depleted." She added she'd reverted to her first week's anxiety when she didn't eat or sleep, and she retold last week's fears of "just being known as Showmance Girl." Tommy, who was in actual jeopardy today, listened and made comforting noises as he gazed sincerely.Jackson joined them and he and Holly went on a major rant about Christie and her crimes in the game. Tommy did a lot of nodding and the like and then said "I want to tell you guys something, I knew Christie before coming into this house, please keep this between us." That got their attention, especially Holly, who said "oh fuck, I'm so sorry, and I've been such a -- sorry, sorry, I've wondered that at points." Tommy choked up a little and said "wow, this is freaky.. her ex girlfriend's my aunt." That really got their attention, he added "I had to go with it," and they both leaned in to comfort him, and undoubtedly to gather more info about this bombshell that took 81 days to come out. Unfortunately for us, feeds cut to fishies about then. Maybe the aunt/ex pulled her release (she'd been talked about a lot early on). When the fishies swam away Tommy was back to his usual bouncy self downstairs, and was -not surprisingly- called to Diary. Jackson and Holly seemed slightly in shock, when Jackson dropped another bombshell on her: "you aren't the only one who knew Kat, I met her in Dallas when I visited [someone]" and "she lives literally 10 minutes away." But a few minutes later he said he was goofing and she said she didn't know what to believe anymore. Feeds were down from 2.13pm until almost 7pm and when they came back, Nicole had won the veto, and she was as thrilled as she'd been for her HOH win. It was the traditional zipline type Comics veto where they had to spot minor differences in the comics, and they all had the usual colorful superhero shirts and little capes. Nicole finished her run in 10:58, which was such a good time the rest of them were stunned, and pleased for her, and Tommy made a point to congratulate her. He finished second with 14:21, Jackson had 15:49, and Holly took 38 minutes. She had a solo celebration and then a traditional pantry celebration dance with Cliff. She told him she'd use it on him. Comics were as follows: Analyse Fowl Play, about her chicken Christie The Desti-KNEE Cliff The Groundhogg David Freeze Frame Holly something about Pinot Noir wine Isabella Liberty Bella, she'll ring your bell (they thought Washington DC and were confused) Jack The Jack Ass, centaur of attention Jackson Dr Jackson and Michie Hyde, aliens and humans beware Jessica Model Mayhem Kat Conspiro including yeti, aliens, dinosaurs Kemi The Keminator, back from the future to kick ass Nick Elast-nick, the Long Arm of the Law Nicole Nicolossus from Strong Island Ovi Captain Cookie Sam Big Rig, 'send it' Tommy The Flash Mobster Holly and her giant braid started to fall apart immediately, moaning to Jackson that she'd failed, she hadn't really wanted to win, and she blamed brain damage from prior concussions? "My brain is so fucked up from so many fucking things that have happened to it, and I literally can feel it, like it hurts when I'm trying to do stuff." She and Jackson worried when and how to talk to Nicole, Holly saying it had to be an "organic" talk as flat-out asking Nicole if she'll use it on Cliff would be "suspicious." Jackson said he didn't want to talk to them too soon "and give them a seed" to get them to start thinking about it. Yep, this is where their collective mindset was at. Jackson also told Holly, correctly, that it would be smart for Cliff and Nicole to boot Holly at this stage, which didn't help Holly's nervousing at all. They also wondered if they should tell Cliff and Nicole about Tommy's news bomb. Nicole cut them off at the "organic" pass a bit later by telling them and Cliff that she'll use it on Cliff, with "no funny business" involved, and Nicole and Cliff both promised they'd vote to keep Holly. Holly griped that she'd asked for chewable Advil and they gave her two baby Advils, and then she forgot to take those and left them in the pantry. They all had lengthy Diary sessions to retell all the comics, and Nicole sought out Tommy after hers. She found him in HOH and he said he was okay, and he asked her how great it felt to hold up the veto in Diary, and she agreed it was a very good feeling. She told him she'll be pulling Cliff down and Holly will go up, and he wasn't surprised by that. He said he will campaign rather than give up, and she encouraged him to do so, and said while she doesn't want to go against her word and loyalty and trust, "but if [Jackson or Holly] had the gun, I'm almost positive they would have taken the shot." So campaigning might amount to nothing and Tommy will likely go on Thursday, but it almost sounded like Nicole was asking Tommy to provide a Reason to talk her (and Cliff) out of making that happen. We'll see. Nicole and Cliff had a check-in and they began talks about possibly booting Holly rather than Tommy, and how best to set that up if they decide to go that route, as well as what repercussions it would have on final comps.
