>> Boogie & Erika wait for finale <<

The site is slowing down again and will continue to do so - sorry, there isn't anything I can do about it.. if it loads slowly, please try again later.. mornings are busiest
Please do not hit Refresh repeatedly, and please do not set as your home page, thanks

Ladies & gentlemen of the jury (Saturday)

It's a dull, dull day in there, what little I see of it anyway

Erika jumps Boogie every now & then to remind him she's there.. otherwise they keep their distance for the most part, and their silence

It's a house of misery.. neither looks forward to meeting the jury of their former peers very much

The crack tech crew is off the ball again, letting audio of the dearly departed slip thru as they await their positioning.. Danielle says she doesn't want to go first and Howie says he needs to pee and can he use the bushes, then the flames take them all away

The later fallout isn't like past years: we don't get as much anger or resentment this time, instead we end up getting The World According To Erika - silly us, we never noticed that she was driving the game and every one of them from the start, but she informs us and Boogie that it was so

She glares and rants, mostly about Janelle (reunited with the rest), who asked Erika about ass-kissing and throwing comps.. Howie asked her who her early targets were, and James asked about Alison-strategy, hooking up and floating.. Boogie joins in a bit but it's her floor show.. one of the cams keeps a very far shot, making them look teeny-tiny.. another sizes up Erika for the padded room she's certainly bound for

Erika: Will told everyone on the jury 'You're there because of me'
Erika: I sent out the biggest player and the 2nd biggest player
....
Erika: Janelle's just going to look like a jealous stupid girl
Boogie: She sounded like that girl at the club that you're trying to calm down
Erika: Calm down, Chubby
....
Boogie: Danielle's a hypocrite
Erika: The only person who was really out of control was Janelle.. cuz she's jealous
Boogie: She's a child, 26 and she gets everything she wants

They harangue and justify and drink, and pretty soon Erika's created the heavens and the earth.. they take it to the hot tub.. on the way Boogie looks to a camera, asking if he should "drop it tonight or wait for the finale Tuesday?" and things heat up

Now we know he's playing for all it's worth, and it's great fun watching him play her hard & ruthlessly as he builds her up for a greater fall.. they smooch a bit but he backs off, like he does.. he tells her she's got the best body in the house and she arranges it for him.. she says Janelle's a "big fat ho" and Boogie says "Aahhh, true colors coming out?" It's a great time for feedsters, and the cheapest of the cheap entertainment to be had

Erika recycles her bit again, how attracted she is to him and for how long (since Josh), then takes credit for more of Will's handiwork and hints that Boogie didn't do much at all.. they argue over his role, then he jumps out of the hot tub and it's his turn to glare

The drunken party is over just like that.. she pulls their little bed for two apart and after he lands in his half, she stomps outside and hunts through the ashtrays for a butt she hasn't smoked down yet - there aren't many left

It plays out differently than expected, but it's a great night of feeds.. I guess this means Boogie's gonna "drop it" on the live finale - Julie's bound to sputter

I can't make videos with sound anymore, but Aldav got the good stuff:
Erika & Boogie about the jury questions and about Janelle
Boogies asks camera "Should I drop Operation Double Date tonight?"
Erika & Boogie angry

I know I said I wouldn't have more updates til the finale, but I can't quit you.. these two days are ultralite episodes so I'll leave you with a tip to fill in the gap:

If you just can't bring yourself to root for Boogie, then think of it as hoping Erika will lose (and come in $5,000 under Janelle's total with her stipend & America's Choice), and hoping Will will get $250,000, since he & Boogie have a 50/50 split deal.. it works for me anyway (in spite of the fact that I don't care who wins).. don't forget Boogie's going to have to pay taxes on that car, plasma tv and Aruba trip as well his cash

Be sure to check out the letter from Janelle's mom in today's linkage to get a parent's perspective on all this.. thanks Ann

Oops they did it again, and again (Friday)

Those rascally jurors escaped their sequester cage and ran around singing karaoke in Indio

That probably explains why Janelle wasn't sent to the jury house, why they're all being bussed back to the habitat or nearby for jury Q&A, and why all the sequester footage was pulled before CBS posted the air show.. I thought it all may have been because too many fans were trying to visit after the paradise© substitute location was published around the web but this makes more sense

It could also explain why they have that "you decide in case of a tie" cockamamey stuff this year, but photos show both Will & Danielle out karaoke'ing and the local news piece makes it sound like more than two were there

But.. how ironic would it be if Will's disqualified and Boogie loses by one vote?

In further oops's, even the control room doesn't want to watch the Gruesome Twosome live out their dull days: Friday night quads went to single-frame volleyball for 90 minutes or so, with combined audio from Troy and a news report about something

And yet more free advertising.. looks like WillBoogie aren't the only ones getting away with that anymore - they've got competition from the Energizer bunny tonight

Do not miss the fallout from the jury questioning! It will probably be Saturday night after a few hours of flames - Boogie & Erika will likely go ballistic

Final Two drag on

Editors
It's difficult to be objective but I give them credit for (finally) starting to learn from their mistakes. This week's visit to paradise© spared us anymore skits to backfire on them and gave us simply posed greets for Will and predictable Q&A fodder. The laser show comp was dramatic looking even if it was a leftover from 'Fear Factor' and the car was a cute one. The edits & scripting were anti-F2 all the way between Boogie's nasty Diary remarks and crying over Will, and Julie making a point of letting Erika know their bedcapades had indeed been aired (not that it mattered to Erika in spite of her shock, since she couldn't get enough of the guy she claimed to hate once the show ended). Janelle went out classy as expected, and wasn't at all rude in her refusal to answer Julie's rude question about her 'true feelings' for Will again.. give it a rest, writers! It's none of your business, or ours. The biggest question from this ep is why did the tv show go to flames for a second? We expect that on the feeds but not on the live show.. and why did those flames come along just after Erika missed the question that gave Boogie the win, so we couldn't see her face to gauge if she answered wrong on purpose? Convenient timing is all I can say. A decent show I guess as evictions go, but its results left a bad taste in most fans' mouths.

Boogie
This summer has really warped my brain as I'm now almost rooting for this guy. Not so much to win, but to let Erika in on his little secret that he's shared with everyone but her. He came perilously close tonight, working her like a dog with a bone: he 'confessed' all about Operation Double Date but she already knew about all that, and he knew she knew. He told her about Legion of Doom which threw her for a loop although she might not have fully believed it, but he really got her attention when he told her about The Perfect Storm and that it included Janelle. Erika had just been calling her stupid and a 'big fat ho' so she wasn't keen on hearing Janelle and perfect in the same sentence from Boogie, but that was small compared to the things none of us wanted to hear from her tonight. Unfortunately Boogie got pissy when Erika said he wasn't the brains of Chilltown so he stomped off to bed, leaving us hanging but he sure did get her riled up and that's good tv. More of the same please? Boogie HAS to give us the extended version of 'the drop' of his Diaries & repercussions before it's all packed into a tidy 8-second segment surprise on Tuesday. Surely he's more of a man than Drew was and isn't going to make Julie dump the girl for him on tv.. we've been there, done that.

Erika
Her delusions about who she is & what she did in there know no bounds. Ms. 'I'll vote however you tell me to' has turned overnight into calling herself the real puppetmaster (and apparently believing it.) She was mind-boggling tonight after jury questioning, spouting her many imaginary attributes and telling us all kinds of things about her & BB1 Josh's relationship that are none of our business, but the pièce de résistance was this 36-year-old 'non-smoker' scrounging for butts again, finally finding one she'd missed before, but it was such a little bit of a dog-end that she asked the camera for a roach-clip. As far as spouting off about Janelle after the jury Q&A and saying how jealous, stupid & fat she is, it was a rerun of last year. These BB Finals women all claim to be superior to her, but all they can do is harp on about her for hours on end.. I think the word Janellousy should be hitting the dictionaries soon as we sure do see a lot of it.

Janelle

First into the house but third place again.. but also a second year as viewers' favorite & America's Choice, and most HOHs and most vetos overall - all in spite of most noms overall and having them all after her. She's still a breath of badly needed fresh air and never fails to keep most of us rooting for her even as she goes up against unbeatable odds. It was wonderful to watch her wear her tiara over & over, bought by 50¢ votes that failed to deliver the game advantage promised, but reminding us she's ever the prom queen, buxom blonde bombshell, and now two-time Hamsterwatch Star of the Season.

Dr. Will

He owned them all from the start and was largely (if not solely) responsible for the first 10 evictions, as well as the 11th - his own. He was mostly fun to watch with a quick wit and more than a few good tv moments, tho his self- and Boogie-promotion got old fast as did his unbridled arrogance. His chemistry with Janelle was undeniably sparkly and fun to watch: even tho we knew it was a play, there was something that felt genuine about it too, but in the end she played him back and right out the door.

George

We only got the BB1 goony guy with his Thursday night get-ups but he had his share of colorful moments and championship belly flops. He won an important veto by shaving his head & going on perma-slop, making him the most suffering but least complaining of them all. He's a very decent guy and a good friend to them all (even Howie), and I wish him only good things.

Danielle

She said she wanted redemption but she played it too hard too often, and got played right out the door. She spent a day in solitary, and 'got personal' and nasty a few times but she did herself in by trusting the most untrustworthy: James, Erika & Willboogie. Strategy & working behind backs are her fortes but this time she'll be remembered most for excessive ding-donging.

James

He ran a self-professed 'Janelle hate campaign' when she had his back, and called her a liar, traitor & worse on tv but he hooked up with Dani on Day 2. He promised to be more fun but wasn't much until the end, when he was great. He plays the game well but too hard and personal. The Dolly Wars will follow him but he'll be ok: it's just a little harm.

Howie

Love him or hate him, nobody can deny he's an individual. Two years running he's stayed truer to his partners than anyone while staying on good terms with everyone on all sides, in spite of behavior that would get most arrested. His act gets old and he drops trou a lot, but he's almost always upbeat and his heart is solid gold. We'd all be lucky to have a friend as loyal as Howie.

Marcellas

He had early alliances galore but blew them all off to mope & complain instead. Editing was far from kind and didn't even give us his best but it's his own doing (like most of his problems are). Hamsterwatch Most Photogenic award winner, especially since he started posing for renaissance paintings.

Kaysar

He said his heart wasn't in it this year and that he was saving his big moves for later: both fatal in the BB house, and not kicking out Will when he could was pivotal to the season. But he shaved his head for the game and stopped twisting his hair too. Good to see him again and overnighters especially will miss him.

Diane

Sadly, she didn't stand a chance this year. She came in defeated & involved in a feud, and lost all her partners. Mrs. Smith didn't give us the fireworks she's capable of but she's always an all-star in my book and I wish her well.

Jase

His alliances and behavior were all over the map this time and both got him kicked out. He went out the back door again but it wasn't intentional this time. So long, mirror-face.

Nakomis

Not the most charismatic and she didn't start playing in time, but each side kicked her out so the other couldn't have her. Kudos to her for having the guts to return.

Alison

She worked out and hid in a vase but the potential for catfights & dramatics left with her. She didn't live up to her skanky rep: good for her, bad for us.

This site isn't necessarily about who should win, who will win, who I'd be friends with, or who is cute. It's about watching hamsters: which ones are doing what and why, which are fun and which are dull. If they aren't entertaining, get rid of 'em! Thanks for encouraging my behavior.. that dingo
