Meanwhile mouse fingers & auto-vote programs are busy click-click-clicking and the candidates' whistle stop tours are underway.. I still can't make out how or why Dana & Erika figure into Madonna & INXS gigs, but they're listed on the CBS appearance schedule along with everyone's "Early Show", chats, and restaurant dates - go figure.. it looks like George is putting out the most effort as far as personal appearances so far, while the James Gang guerrilla campaign continues on the web
As usual, I don't care who wins - I'm just here for the cheap entertainment - so therefore I don't care (much) who gets in, but there are some things that might be fun to see: a Diane vs Ivette deathmatch; the Howie/Janelle/Kaysar trio entertaining overnighters again; hamsters & feedsters alike falling for whatever James or Will says; Jase finding a new bath buddy in Howie; a new round of Danielle impersonations; a Bunky & Cowboy cryfest; or George coming up with something to top blasting off in the shower
These aren't necessarily my picks - I'm just preparing to find entertainment from whoever does get in
Rumor mill update
Latest speculation & likely rumors indicate that the eight who aren't chosen will compete for the remaining two open spots - see Aldav's caps that clearly show 14 photo frames.. it makes sense: 12 would leave us two hamsters short from BB5 & BB6 though we're on the same schedule
Marcellas thinks the alternative to peanut butter will be tuna.. other ideas circulating are mac & cheese, Spam or tofu.. my choice would be a liquid diet as that would mess with them real good psychologically as well.. it has to be something healthy - if they get sick from malnutrition, a good medical lawyer has a better shot at breaking the contract than ambulance chasers picked up in strip malls by sour grapes sore losers
BB Park by TD is back!
I'm very pleased to say that TD is once again going to provide Hamsterwatch with mostly-daily installments of BB7 Park this year! The first installment is already upTD worked tirelessly last year working up South Park-inspired companion pieces for the daily episodes here that were great fun.. they started in early August after I'd turned the BB6 hamsters into South Park characters on the July 12 ratings sidebar, which in turn were inspired by the great Grins at Jokers during BB5
TD's BB7 Park will be linked up on the daily index as we go and will have its own daily listing this year as well.. thanks TD!

This tie-dye shirt made by Janelle last year and signed by her is up for auction in a fundraiser event to help support me so I can keep this site going this summerIt was made by Janelle for Howie for last year's Revive-a-Hamster America's Choice, worn by both him & Rachel and says AMERICA BRING KAYSAR BACK.. Janelle signed it "Love always, Janelle Pierzina 'BB6' " and sent it to me at the end of last season - huge thanks, Janelle!
Now that Janelle & Kaysar are both announced as being in the running for All-Stars, it's all in fashion again (sort of).. ok, even if it's not ultra-trendy style, it is a unique keepsake from BB6 and hopefully BB7 too

Make sure you get 'Your vote has been submitted' message on the right. Daily rallies on 'The Early Show' and hopefuls are chatting all over town - Jokers and James seem to be hosting most of them.. battle lines seem clearly drawn except Howie who's bouncing between teams. Check out the 20 suggestions that Entertainment Weekly forwarded to BB producers, also 6 'guaranteed' into the house Hamster hopefuls may use "any reasonable means" to campaign their way back into the house.. note to hamster hopefuls: this space for rent Move-in show is Thursday, July 6 at 8pm. It won't be live. Feeds will likely begin when it ends at 6pm BB time/9pm Eastern, or possibly when it ends in the west, 9pm/midnight (hopefully not 15 minutes into the show for the west like last year.)    Pre-season ups for a terrific casting special Wednesday! They jumped right in at the start announcing names instead of waiting til the last 5 minutes like many of us expected, and they gave us good highlights for each of the 20 potentials. The mix of hopefuls is so varied and volatile they really should put them all in there and let them fight it out, but we'll have to settle for 6 of our picks and 6 of theirs (or 12 of theirs, depending how you look at it.) Julie teased about something worse than PB&J and an HOH room surprise (but not surprisingly didn't mention that the CBS site had already leaked the list of 20 on June 5.) Here's hoping for more shows like this one this season.. we've all had enough of the misdirection and created drama. Hamsters in the house, plain & simple, is all we need to see to stay happy. |
