Primpin' it up

As predicted, it's been stale trivia most of the day as they prep for their first live show and probably their live vote on top of it - in tandem?

I'm eagerly awaiting trip-ups in the Diary hallway and doubled-up mini primps in the mirror, not to mention Julie's explanations of what happens if there's a tie vote

Correction: They didn't vote live, flub, or have a tie vote.. rats

In the few glimpses I've caught today, they were already busy in the mirror.. it turns out Amanda's one of those who licks her Q-tip then dabs her eye makeup with it.. ewww

As soon as Jen & Parker walked the plank to Julie's boudoir and James & Chelsia grabbed the power's-up-for-grabs, Alex was explaining to Amanda why they'd be likely to get nominated, Matt was explaining the next phase of his work the girls program, Joshuah was already drinking without a cup, and Sheila & Allison were busy explaining how they aren't lesbians

Joshuah & Chelsia heard but remained skeptical about the lesbian issue, and they all started up plotting & scheming in earnest

Room debut came sooner than ever - less than an hour after the end of the show - and brought the usual gushing over pics & products.. both James & Chelsia seemed happy with what they got, which included NIN and booze.. no telling if James got any pics from his porn career

And we're off.. again

Sheila started yelling at Alex over dinner prep about Adam

Apparently Adam said something to her before the show about their vote will "come back to bite her in the ass" and "they will come after us".. this is per Sheila - as far as I know, it all took place behind trivia

Then she pulled Adam into the bathroom and went off.. he responded almost in kind and later told Joshuah "I should just fuck her is what I should do.. show her who's boss"

And we are back to all drama, all the time.. things heated up rapidly upstairs: Chelsia was on board for some smooching but James' raging hormones seemed to be raging way too fast for comfort and it didn't go further - this time.. see more caps in the forum, by ABT

Sheila & Adam had another round but it was quieter and she was possibly more effective getting her point across this time, but maybe not.. scratching his nether regions might be a not-so-subliminal message wishing she'd STFU

James drops a bomb

An n-bomb, to be specific, and to Ryan of all people, ironically

It sounded like he was using the word conversationally, in what passes for hip or cool in some circles, and there were no visible reactions to it from either Ryan or Adam

It went out on Showtime so maybe CBS will have yet another PR situation on their hands in the morning.. a girl was evicted from UK Big Brother last year for the same word, used in the same conversational way

I wonder if James used the word when Parker was still in the habitat

He passed out on the massage table after being kneaded by Natalie - Chelsia had passed out in HOH some time earlier

An hour or so later a crowd gathered and discussed moving him upstairs but apparently BB told them just to move him to one of the couches in the gym/spa room - the spiral stairs would be a problem

Wednesday's show was high drama and good fun thanks to that, but ups are neutralized due to them stooping to put 'Ryan's a racist' on national tv. At least they did air Jen speaking the words which til now had been in question, but there was no reason to drop Ryan in it like that in primetime (even if nobody's watching): it will have implications for him that don't seem deserved. Naturally they worked in the noose comments for the fight (and did Allison seem to be grinning too much when talking about that?) but Julie stole some of Amanda's dead dad thunder when she asked Alex about his.. is Amanda even aware of Alex's situation? Joshuah's 'even your partner hates you' to Amanda during the fight must really have tv-only viewers confused after Tuesday's jealousy storyline. Parker was clearly upset in his interview and who can blame him? He got ripped off almost as badly as Jacob, and he had way more potential. Julie came close to thwacking Jen like she did Marcellas and I wish she had. Although I don't much care about it not being a live vote, I always like to hear it official from Ms. Chen who voted for whom. The HOH comp was just stoopid and obviously orchestrated for more bikini time, in the same way as the hot tub isn't off limits even though they're supposed to have no hot water. My biggest problem is Julie saying it's Day 14: I've been going by what they've been saying on the feeds.. who's off?
VTE Allison/Ryan Paired with Sheila He and Sheila had quite a go-round just after the feeds came back and he held his own, which isn't necessarily easy to do once Sheila gets going. He did it by telling her to STFU and walking away - which didn't make her any calmer. Saying he 'should just f her to show her who's boss' was more than a bit sketchy, but it's that kind of cast this time. He acknowledged to Sheila in their next round that yes, he does say some dumb things and acts without thinking sometimes, but maybe that was just to get her to shut up.	No vote (HOH) Paired with Amanda I didn't see or hear much from him tonight, other than the usual macho'ing it up with his buddy Matt, who told him to keep working Amanda, which is possibly where the whole Alex likes Amanda stuff came from in the first place. Alex didn't seem too happy with the suggestion but I'm really not sure where he stands about anything.
No vote (nominee) Paired with Ryan She skated real fast around the lesbian alliance 'joke' when it came out and that may cause problems for her: she doth protest way too much. She was on the feeds a lot tonight, but I was usually elsewhere so she's neutral by default. She was a bit smug after being saved from eviction, so I'm looking forward to her starting to hustle again with the new noms & veto cycle. She gets Line of the Day award for mentioning that Ryan seemed upset, and when Sheila said 'his girlfriend just left tonight,' she responded 'Is that bad?'	No vote (HOH) Paired with Alex Another one I didn't follow around the feeds tonight and I'm not sure if she'll get nom'd tomorrow or not, but I am looking forward to seeing her on the block whether it's now or later.. preferably both. Runner-up Line of the Day award for answering Julie about the big fight 'I have forgiven them and they have definitely apologized' - glue wouldn't even stick to this girl in her world.
Co-HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD VTE Jen/Parker Paired with James She was thrilled with her pics, her goodies, and most of all, her booze. She may or may not like James the way he likes her, but her discomfort became noticeable when he kept pushing for more during their drinky makeout session.	Co-HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD VTE Jen/Parker Paired with Chelsia Normally his shenanigans tonight would earn easy ups, but pushing Chelsia the way he did was disturbing. He was just being a pushy, horny boy but I have a feeling she likes men. (And so does he, if you gauge by his movie career.) Both of them passing out made for a nice live show evening without HOH visits full of deals, promises, and lies we have to keep track of.
VTE Jen/Parker Paired with Neil Sharon He seems to be playing a good game, occasional outbursts aside. He's quiet but knows what's going on and seems to have most potential outcomes figured out along with Sharon. He's turning into everyone's confidante as he spends much of his days & nights alone in the hot tub, and that's usually a good position to be in - if the info gained is used wisely.	VTE Jen/Parker Paired with Natalie He's back to working Allison and pushing Alex to work Amanda, giving out his phone number, and just being Matt. I'll miss him calling Parker 'Pocka'.
VTE Jen/Parker Paired with Matt I couldn't find her on the feeds for two hours after the show - I still don't know where she was. Later she turned up alone in the sauna again.. that seems to be her spot. She & James talked about their mutual sexual frustration in there: if James gets over Chelsia, these two might just go at it like bunnies til one or the other is evicted.	No vote (nominee) Jen's boyfriend/Paired with Allison I think we all breathed a sigh of relief when Jen walked out the door, even him. He was suddenly upbeat, game savvy and involved in most everything that was going on tonight. I don't want to compare them to BB8's Daniele and her one-time boyfriend, but let's just say he seems to have had his eyes opened a bit about Jen in there. At any rate, now he seems ready to stay and play, and he might be okay at it - if he can avoid Allison.
VTE Jen/Parker Paired with Jacob (her ex) Joshuah See Joshuah, with the difference that she's rarely in the spotlight anywhere, yet could very possibly be driving the game at this point. Her rant upon her return to the habitat and her (probably) accurate info about Jen was likely what pushed her out the door.. well, on top of being generally disliked and unwanted in there, of course.	VTE Allison/Ryan Paired with Adam Big fireworks tonight, and her follow-up later showed she's as shrewd about the game and perceptions within the habitat as a hardcore BB expert. I still want to find out if she knows the game more than she lets on, and if she's playing Allison or not. Time will tell, but for now she's definitely the 'loose cannon' Allison calls her behind her back, but she's also getting away with it and seems to be in more or less good standing in there despite her outbursts.
Won: $5k Ryan's girlfriend/Paired with Parker She & Ryan could have gone far if she hadn't opened her mouth in the first days. She made loads of enemies in a short time and took Parker down with her. She'll be remembered for super-quickie sex in the bathroom and a rash on her backside.. hmm, coincidence?	Won: $5k Paired with Jen He was good watching at first til he gave up and went on strike. He rebounded a bit at the end but his doom came early when partner Jen couldn't keep her trap shut about her & Ryan. She had to go, and he was just the innocent bystander casualty. 'I'm sick of people's dumbass assinine ass comments' might be Line of the Season.
Paired with Joshuah He left suddenly and mysteriously but wrote on his MySpace that he didn't leave for health reasons and that he won't be back. He seems like a good guy and I wish him well.. he's probably lucky he got out when he did, unscathed.	Paired with Sharon (his ex) Gone before the feeds kicked in: he didn't even make an appearance. All that potential for rehashing their breakup and/or a jealous rage up in smoke. To make it worse, he & Sharon didn't even get an exit interview in Julie's boudoir - how rude!

No hot water for 72 hours
Females wear swimsuits for 24 hours
No drinking cups for 1 week
Females cook dinner for 1 week
No washing maching for 2 weeks
Margarita party coming (but don't expect mass quantities after James & Chelsia's HOH pass-outs)

Nobody knows when or if they'll play solo at some point, but CBS has announced it will be a full season.

Julie said tune in for couples nomination & couples veto, and 'the' live eviction. Maybe nothing, maybe something: last week she clearly said today would be couples eviction.
