Erika's not pleased     Erika: I would have had it but my Diane broke Oops, late addition: I left this out the first time around but it said a lot.. during this after-veto stuff, Erika sat on Boogie's lap and coo'd at him "I've already won".. urp Willboogie sound like they both really tried, but didn't come close.. they high-five & congratulate themselves anyway, like they do.. they both congratulate Janelle also, even Boogie, who suggests she wear her tiara     Boogie: Go ahead, just do the whole thing, do the whole fucking thing Backing up, before the comp was a whole lot of nothing.. Erika's a mess again.. Will continues his successful Gimme Campaign by asking for a Queen CD and getting it.. he also mentions several times having had a meeting with co-exec producer Allison Grodner this morning - we get flames each time.. Willboogie start to worry about what will happen when Erika sees the shows.. they hope Will wins the veto so he can make both girls think they're safe all week (oops - they don't know eviction's early this week, on Tuesday, and another Thursday)     Will: It won't matter how many back massages you've given Will: Whereas if Janelle wins it, I can seal the deal I am pretty sure Will says he'll kick out Janelle if he wins veto but others say he said Erika.. since he didn't, it's moot now They do their primp thing for the comp and Will & Janelle do a huggy encouragement give & take.. after it's over Erika goes to Diary for a long time, presumably protesting her loss, and Willboogie aren't as congratulatory toward Janelle as they might have been, considering the Ultimate Plan As Told To Janelle - she seems to notice, maybe     Erika gets out of Diary (with bad news, for her), pulls Janelle aside and starts to work - the body language is good - Boogie offers them HOH room to talk it out     Basically Erika's loop goes like this: those two guys are rich and don't need the money; Erika does need it since her boyfriend (BB1 Josh) dumped her; she can't win against any of them, she's playing for second.. rewind, repeat Basically Janelle's responses go like this: Erika didn't vote to keep George like she said she would; nobody's going to take her to the Final 2 (including Erika), she has to win it for herself; rewind, repeat Erika finally goes in for the kill with "You know who's lying to you, don't you?" Janelle says she does and Erika asks who.. Janelle says Boogie, then after a reproachful look from Erika adds Will.. Erika tells her he's been saying terrible things about her, calling her a pitbull and that she's ruining his life     Afterwards Will comes out of Diary and asks Janelle what's changed, why is she not happy now? She finally tells him what Erika told her.. Will is clearly taken aback but says Erika's just desperate now and will say anything.. he finally acknowledges that he's said terrible things about everyone in there including her.. he works very, very hard at convincing her he's on her side, including trying to make her feel responsible for making him feel bad At one point during one of their touchy whispery secrets rounds Janelle asks "What about your girlfriend?" and she says she's been in love with him "since Week 4.. since Day 25 - no, actually it was Day 13 when you jumped in the slop".. Erika comes in at one point and says "I don't want to interrupt the campaigning.."   The slop comp was actually Day 12 - Janelle's off on her day count again, just like last year Greenlight special The four of them sit outside for awhile, very awkwardly silent.. Will finally heads in to bed and Janelle follows shortly after She & Will bed down in the big big bed in the red room (redrum) and talk for a long time about the game, the comp, and all the evictees, like they do.. eventually they leave that common ground and talk about their pasts, sharing wild teenage stories and the like.. they talk about the wrap party - Janelle asks who he'll have there and he says his brother and Theo ("Road Rules"/"Last Comic Standing") - he doesn't mention Erin ("For Love or Money" winner, twice) They do their usual touchy whispery secrets thing a lot, then later lie side by side - both their "outside" hands busy and animated, their "inside" hands unseen, inside.. they keep going quiet then one or the other will say they can't sleep, and it starts again     Will goes off to pee at one point and comes back with a new tack, saying he's stressed since he should be studying for a board certification pre-test, and what a pain it was to win last time "Everybody expects you to buy everything for them" and how he really doesn't have much money, having spent his BB2 winnings paying off student loans and now has made a down payment on a condo After a long chat outside, Boogie & Erika turn in upstairs and smooch a bit before Boogie goes to sleep.. Erika wanders outside to smoke Janelle's cigs and talk to herself awhile.. then she goes down in one of the downstairs beds while Janelle & Will are chatting away.. she gets up to listen a couple times, and finally slides open the door asking if anyone's in there? She says she thought it might be crew people     Leather, with rhinestones (Friday) Whatever Willboogie wants, Willboogie gets Boogie's been begging for his BB2 Chilltown leather basketball jersey - with rhinestones - and it (or a reasonable facsimile) arrives today Presumably he wore it to the nominations, where he put up Erika & Janelle It's pretty quiet around the habitat and not much has changed.. Will's still feeling superior and showing it none-too-subtly.. Janelle dishes up ice cream.. Erika's wearing the borrowed tiara again, and dishes hers up with a fork.. hmmm     Will comes along and suggests they lick some ice cream off his abs, then says he couldn't let that happen.. they got their Redi-Whip back, by the way     You know how these things turn out by now - more of the same     I don't think they know yet that the closer is moved up or that there's another eviction Tuesday.. they talk about luxury comps, America's Choice, outings and phone calls If it's any consolation, they're more bored than we are.. they gather together to perch & overlook (nobody).. they pair off like they do.. Will plays a round of 2nd Story 52 Pickup     Janelle whips up some of her world-famous apple crisp, and last night's walk-on sponsor delivers dinner - KFC has also promised chicken every week for a year to George, per today's Housecalls.. Boogie's convinced the meal means somebody gets to go to a football game     Will makes some remarks about Janelle flying around the world with "sponsors" and the Mile High Club.. she gets snippy about it, saying it isn't true - he says he knows it isn't but apologizes since she said (rightly) that "it's out there now".. they get through it via "secrets" as usual, or maybe they're posing for a romance novel cover The plan still seems to be for Willboogie & Janelle to drop Erika and move forward, but we won't know for sure til the veto happens.. (tomorrow, I think).. it only takes one vote to evict next time, and then the fun starts up again: Final 3 HOH is typically a three-part comp including one endurance portion.. the winner decides who goes to finals with him or her, and then what's typically the best night of the feeds comes along after the two finalists are questioned by the jury Duckie theater raincheck It's a really quiet (dull) evening They pair off and whisper in various combos here & there - Erika & Will or Boogie about Janelle and vice versa, and Willboogie about themselves & their coolidity.. there are short bursts of studying here & there also, but none last more than a few minutes Will takes a bath upstairs while Janelle showers, and she asks for the new duckie puppet show he promised earlier.. Will tries to assemble the cast but only Dr. McDreamy & Scrubika are there to reprise their roles - blue devil duckie and assorted loofas aren't really working out Boogie comes up to shower and suggests a duckie puppet show of sequester - Janelle's all for the idea (so are we) but alas, that show's cancelled too     Janelle heads downstairs and Willboogie talk about the football game or other outing they're expecting.. they realize if Erika or Janelle go on a field trip people will shout out "he's playing you" or "don't trust Will" - they add another Must Win to their growing list     Then they realize Boogie's sitting there talking to Will while he's in the bathtub and decide that would look gay on tv.. Will's wearing shorts but Boogie skedaddles away quick-like They make up their beds before midnight and are in them shortly after, ripping off once again workerbee fans who'd hoped to catch some of the late night action they keep missing during the week.. it can't be coincidence that the hamsters are encouraged between booze & Diary to act up most at times when the fewest feedsters can watch, can it? The pattern repeats too often Will makes up another massive pillow fort and encourages Boogie to do Erika tonight.. Boogie says "she's not like that.. I'll go do it, but.." - he retires upstairs and Erika down.. Will & Janelle chat about show biz experiences and travel stories.. Janelle tells him about being on "Regis & Kelly" last year.. Will keeps singing or talking about staff or Diary and we're sent to flames continually, as it's been for days.. for all his self-back-patting about how much we must love watching him, this ongoing precocious stuff makes him a non-fave for many.. they're all four tucked in by 12.30 Night prowlers I've been remiss in reporting the last couple of nights that Erika's been getting up after Janelle's solo time outside She smokes a few of Janelle's cigs and sits out there a long long time, silent.. she does it again tonight but not for very long Will & Janelle toss and turn and say they can't sleep around 1.. Will invites her to sit on his bed and chat, and she lays down with him.. he's up then, she's up & outside, he's down again, and eventually they settle in their own beds and chat for awhile about wrap parties and other things that send us to flames, again Janelle tells how she & Ivette flew back from the Casting Special together, and made their peace, and that they may have worked together if they both made the show.. an interesting idea (but probably wouldn't have worked out so well with James there) They chat a long time about a lot of things - their seasons' castmates, being recongized afterward, their editing.. they talk about how she wouldn't talk to him early on, and that he didn't know what to make of her, and he fills her in on a lot of his early dealings she'd been unaware of.. it's relaxed and it's genuine - neither playing a role, just chatting like friends do Linkage Today's must-click special: Reviewing Will's pre-season interview He's talked about this one often, but not this part: 'If I am in the final two I will pledge every penny of the prize money (after taxes of course) to charities determined by the evicted houseguests. They keep making it sound like Will's worked all this up spur of the moment rather than over the past many weeks - probably cuz they were too busy making up storylines than to report what was really happening. Julie put both Danielle & George on the grill but George handled it better, and she left the schedule hanging wide open by not cluing the tv audience in to corrections needed after airing their whisperings about how much time is actually left. Boogie got too many Dolce mentions in again and wasn't it handy that the only other hamster packed & ready to go was George? Paradise© is likely a local hotel for a day or two since Cabo's being evacuated for Hurricane John: just one more painful detail for the producers to cope with this season. HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD He's got a bit of a conscience about homancing Erika this far and says he's worried about it, but he doesn't do much about it. Too bad for him: he thinks he'll be able to shmooz his way out of this one but he has no idea how many websites post how many details about what goes on in there - she does. He can't even try to smooth all that over once they get out since the YouTubes don't lie. It seems like he's ready to cut loose his good buddy Will and take it all for himself this time.. the eejit can't comprehend that he's a first class coat-tailer and did very little to get himself to Final 4, or that virtually nobody on jury would vote for him against any of these other three. NOMINATED I have to give her props for making an effort to save herself, even if it was far too little and far too late, and even if she doesn't have the guts to say it in public. She's still got no personality and her game style has lived up to Marcellas' 'Amber Alert' warnings 100%, but above all she's no fun and needs to be gone. NOMINATED HOLDS VETO She holds just about every record Big Brother's got now - HOH and veto wins as well as nominations, but she's like the Energizer bunny and just keeps charging ahead. She probably would have been history had she not won this veto, but that's Janelle: she does it when she has to, every time. She seems to be having second thoughts about the charming doctor dude but she also seems to succumb to his charm every time. She has little choice though: as much of a coup as it would be to take out the other top BB player, she can't trust Erika to take her to Final 2 if it comes to that, and it probably would since Erika's a far better endurance comp'er than Janelle and has come close in several other comps. All we can do it let it play out, and hope they show us some Diaries that show what these guys are really thinking instead of the usual pablum they keep feeding us. Day 62 and the guy's finally starting to sweat a bit like he's made others do so often: it's about time. He's genuinely worried about what Janelle will do and he should be, although it's distracting him from realizing that his little buddy Boogie is just about ready to try to shove him aside and step over him.. if he can. Big if. Will's weaknesses are very, very carefully guarded - those who recognize weaknesses so easily in others often are - but we may start to get an inkling of what they are in the next couple of days. Chances are very good that he & Janelle will go to finals together and I hope they do, partly cuz they'd be the most fun to watch in there for the final dreary days of feeds, and partly cuz it'd make for the best finale and most difficult jury decision we've had yet. Each are without question the best players of the game, but in vastly opposite ways. However, Boogie or Erika would make for much more fun when jury questioning fallout comes. We only got the BB1 goony guy with his Thursday night get-ups but he had his share of colorful moments and championship belly flops. He won an important veto by shaving his head & going on perma-slop, making him the most suffering but least complaining of them all. He's a very decent guy and a good friend to them all (even Howie), and I wish him only good things. She said she wanted redemption but she played it too hard too often, and got played right out the door. She spent a day in solitary, and 'got personal' and nasty a few times but she did herself in by trusting the most untrustworthy: James, Erika & Willboogie. Strategy & working behind backs are her fortes but this time she'll be remembered most for excessive ding-donging. He ran a self-professed 'Janelle hate campaign' when she had his back, and called her a liar, traitor & worse on tv but he hooked up with Dani on Day 2. He promised to be more fun but wasn't much until the end, when he was great. He plays the game well but too hard and personal. The Dolly Wars will follow him but he'll be ok: it's just a little harm. Love him or hate him, nobody can deny he's an individual. Two years running he's stayed truer to his partners than anyone while staying on good terms with everyone on all sides, in spite of behavior that would get most arrested. His act gets old and he drops trou a lot, but he's almost always upbeat and his heart is solid gold. We'd all be lucky to have a friend as loyal as Howie. He had early alliances galore but blew them all off to mope & complain instead. Editing was far from kind and didn't even give us his best but it's his own doing (like most of his problems are). Hamsterwatch Most Photogenic award winner, especially since he started posing for renaissance paintings. He said his heart wasn't in it this year and that he was saving his big moves for later: both fatal in the BB house, and not kicking out Will when he could was pivotal to the season. But he shaved his head for the game and stopped twisting his hair too. Good to see him again and overnighters especially will miss him. Sadly, she didn't stand a chance this year. She came in defeated & involved in a feud, and lost all her partners. Mrs. Smith didn't give us the fireworks she's capable of but she's always an all-star in my book and I wish her well. His alliances and behavior were all over the map this time and both got him kicked out. He went out the back door again but it wasn't intentional this time. So long, mirror-face. Not the most charismatic and she didn't start playing in time, but each side kicked her out so the other couldn't have her. Kudos to her for having the guts to return. She worked out and hid in a vase but the potential for catfights & dramatics left with her. She didn't live up to her skanky rep: good for her, bad for us.
