This site is about the Big Brother 18 feeds and contains spoilers! It isn't necessarily thorough: it's what I catch and/or what interests me. It's about watching hamsters: who's doing what and why. Thanks for encouraging my behavior.

Day 57 - Wednesday, August 10

Flippety flop

Early morning action carried on after I gave up, including Natalie, Bridgette, James taking their Anti-Paulie/Save Michelle pitch to Paul, who seemingly got on board after hearing the many dirty deals and double dips Paulie's been up to.. they decided James would cancel Corey's and Paul's votes, and they'd blame the third vote in the 3-2 Zakiyah evicted vote on Nicole, citing girls sticking together/Fatal Five loyalty.. they also decided they could get Victor on board to boot Paulie, but of course everything boils down to Paulie (or Nicole or Corey) not finding out any of this before Julie reads them the tally on Thursday's show.. Bridgette filled in Victor on the plan, and he was happy to hear about it

Apparently James finally did take an outdoor shower but he didn't use the shampoo or scrubby sponge.. I don't think it was on feeds - maybe the night crew hadn't been told to watch for it.. sounds like Natalie pushed the issue when James began to shower so he caught on somewhat, and Bridgette fessed up later

In other news, CBS announced renewal of Big Brother for the next two summers.. they called those the 19th and 20th seasons, so apparently the All Access fall online edition will be called something other than BB19 - see Links of the Day below

Natalie sat down with Zakiyah and told her about Paulie's flirting and inappropriate comments, bad things he's said about Zakiyah, and how the guys' plan was guys all the way.. she also told Zakiyah she'd be staying tomorrow, and she apologized for being the one to tell her all this but felt she should know.. Zakiyah took it all in, shed a tear or two, and asked several times how she could have been so stupid

Zakiyah retold that convo to Nicole, and then to Paulie (and Corey).. Paulie got irate about "Jersey girls" and other choice phrases, and vowed to go after Natalie with a vengeance.. Natalie heard about his "Jersey girls" comments and laughed, adding she's a Venezuelan girl.. so basically we've got a mutiny underway and a blindside in the works, and they're stuck on showmance problems - it's kind of glorious

Paulie ranted at Victor for awhile, and Victor didn't let on at all that he was in on the mutiny.. James threatened to derail the entire thing when he started spilling things to Corey and later Paulie, but he stopped short of spelling out everything.. Zakiyah joined them at one point and climbed onto Paulie for a hug - seems she's back to believing him more than everyone else

Corey also spilled to Nicole, and she later confronted James who basically told her he's not up to anything shady.. as far as I can tell, those not in on the Anti-Paulie/Save Michelle plan ended up with Bridgette and Paul being their main scapegoats, plus of course Natalie and all "Jersey girls", and James didn't commit his own vote to them one way or the other.. offline, Natalie's "Amazing Race" friends, Cody, and Derrick all got in on the action, it was quite the night on the feeds and on Twitter

The mess continued into the night, including an awkward house meeting with an overwhelmingly smug Paulie repeating his nasty comment about Natalie's boobies yet again, proudly, and his other issues about her, and she in turn said she doesn't like how he treats Zakiyah - Flashback 8/11 1.46am.. Natalie and Victor sat down later to talk about that farewell message of hers that's also been a long-time issue

Day 56 - Tuesday, August 9

Shampoo special

Natalie enlisted Bridgette's help for the next round of her prank war with James, after he marinated and froze her flip-flops yesterday.. they applied green paint and a bit of Icy Hot to his outdoor cold shower scrubby sponge, and poured olive oil and spray glitter into his shampoo.. he may or may not end up taking his outdoor Have-not cold shower before they're locked in for Thursday's comp builds but here's hoping he does

Twitter has unlocked my account, so I'm once again able to share these moments as they happen.. form letter implied spam behavior - I block a couple dozen porn and spambots a day, that'll teach me to try and help.. meanwhile Michelle continued her anti-Paulie campaign, oblivious to the fact that it's only adding more Reasons to her own impending eviction.. also, the camera came out for the weekly cheesy selfie session

Bridgette and Natalie also talked some game, including the wish to join forces with James, Paul, Victor, Michelle (if she stays) to go against Paulie, Corey, Nicole.. Bridgette and Michelle also had a game chat, which included Michelle telling Bridgette how Pee-Pee's "Exec" nickname for Victor was really a slam, and that they hate him

Michelle had a chat with Victor about this week's vote but didn't bother telling him about about "Exec", and Bridgette had a chat with Paul, later joined by Michelle.. nobody appeared to get through to anyone really, so we're back where we started from, with none of Paulie's "allies" seeming to care they're letting him play and eventually lose their games for them.. Paul's pelican swimmy remained part of whatever he did until evening when he discovered it had deflated when he left it unattended for a little while.. unfortunately for Michelle, Paul told Bridgette that Michelle being so erratic with her Bridgette love/hate is more reason she should go, because she's too unpredictable.. Michelle continued to say she'll blow things up on her way out

James and Natalie had a little back 'n forth about him supposedly ignoring her all day - that went badly and was equally annoying and frustrating to watch.. at the same time, Bridgette and Michelle were talking game (in Paulie's pee tub, ugh) and how they could save Michelle.. Michelle said Paulie was one of the main ones pushing her to not use her veto on Frank and that surprised Bridgette, and Michelle also confirmed that Fatal Five was real and Advancemen(t) wasn't

Then James and Natalie got back to game and Natalie told him how Michelle felt betrayed by Nicole, Corey, and Paulie, and that Paulie was running everything and everyone.. for one shining moment there was anti-Paulie talk on all feeds, but when Michelle joined James and Natalie, Natalie didn't say much at all and James said he was "solo dolo".. he questioned Michelle about her "sources" when she said the target had changed to getting her out rather than Zakiyah, and he said those people should come talk to him about it

James and Natalie continued with Natalie saying Paulie's been disrespectful towards her including sexual comments/innuendoes and towards them as a couple.. Bridgette and Michelle came up with a plan for Bridgette to flirt with Paulie to make Zakiyah jealous and angry enough that Paulie would want to get her out.. they also came up with a plan for Michelle to tell Paul some of things Paulie's said about him.. Bridgette told James again that Victor wants Michelle to stay - James replied "this is a sticky situation, we're going up against a tyrant"

Day 55 - Monday, August 8

No veto for you

As expected, Paulie did not use his veto.. things were light-hearted and they were all laughing at the end of the meeting.. Paul wore his pelican swimmy, and it sounds like Michelle made a comment about Paulie being able to comp his way past all of them

Michelle and Zakiyah were friendly with each other before they went their separate ways to begin a little campaigning.. there's a bit of movement underfoot to boot Zakiyah rather than Michelle.. chances are slim that any campaigning by either of them will affect anything, but everyone else has been whispering a lot.. it's only Monday and way too early to start counting votes

Waffling carried on through the day, like it does, with a lot of psst-pssting in various combos and retelling of said psst-pssts as soon as they finished.. Natalie and Bridgette spent a lot of time comparing notes and making plans, in a sort of informal Spygirls reunion that a lot of us can live with.. that fact that both are more aware of what's going on than anyone in there realizes is a nice bonus

Paul continued wearing his pelican swimmy and being an expert on each and every topic under the sun, and most of them continued tanning, eating, pranking, claiming they're fat, making post-show plans, and looking forward to being social media moguls

Paulie really put the pee in Pee-Pee when he peed in the hot tub while talking to Paul - Flashback 8/8 8.55pm.. golden boy indeed - what zoo did they find this guy in? An hour or so later, Paul and Victor terrorized Paulie in the shower by thrusting a wad of clogged drain hair at him, making him cringe, squeal, and almost vomit.. feedsters cheered

Twitter has locked my account for "suspicious activity" and reduced my who-I-follow count to zero, even though I'm using Twitter the same as I have for ten USA and four Canada seasons.. they've locked it many times this season but always unlocked easily, until today.. I have put in a ticket with support but for now, I'll just be here on the site like the olden days - there isn't much to report on anyway

Celebrity Big Brother

Another celeb series kicked off July 28! Outside UK, use Hide My Ass to watch live or archive shows and clips.. there are loads of other VPNs out there but I use and recommend HMA because it's safe, secure, and easy to use (just select a UK server), available for multiple platforms, plus they have great customer service for questions or problems

You can watch live at Channel 5's online live stream link.. shows are usually daily, plus Bit on the Side talk show and an hour live from the house, but check the air show schedule - remember UK time is 8 hours ahead of Pacific and 5 hours ahead of Eastern.. the official site has archive air shows and talk shows, highlights, previews, and info

As always, most of the cast is controversial or has featured in highly publicized scandals - Google is your friend.. in order of intro/entry:

Ratings - Drawn Together special edition

Ratings are based on the 2004-2007 Comedy Central toon that was loosely based on Big Brother and similar shows. I've run this before, back for BB9, and I was going to wait to run it this season when we had eight hamsters left, but both Michelle and Zakiyah are integral to the character assignments so I'm running it now and have doubled up on a couple.

Like Big Brother, the Drawn Together producer was rarely seen or heard from. When he was, it was in the form of a villain. It's funny to realize that when the toon was on the air a decade ago, its characters were already blatant reality stereotypes. We haven't come very far.. in fact, we may have gone backwards. Quoted character descriptions are from Wikipedia.

Ling-Ling is a 'crazy and violent spoof of Pikachu' so the Pokemon allegory is timely anyway. Ling-Ling is often absent from the regular course of events and the others can't understand his/her language. He/she 'battles using various supernatural powers/abilities' which often come out of nowhere. All of that applies to our Bridgette pretty well, and her laugh in particular is very Ling-Lingesque.

Won: $2,500
TEAM FREAKAZOID

Xandir P Wifflebottom is a fairy tale anime-type pretty boy prince on a 'never-ending quest to save his girlfriend.' That is until he acknowledges he's actually gay. I've not jumped on board the 'Corey's gay' bandwagon as I believe it's up to the individual whether to announce that or not, but he does provide a lot of fodder for the joke. As for Xandir, 'most of his humor revolves around his homosexuality or his sensitivity; he is often used to poke fun at gay stereotypes.' Corey's still throwing around gay slurs as recently as this week, so consider this character assignment as humor with a side of poetic justice.

TEAM UNICORN

Wooldoor Sockbat is described as a 'wacky whatchamacallit' who is innocent and childlike, with a rarely-seen dark side. 'Most of his humor revolves around his childlike innocence, his happy-go-lucky nature, or his general strangeness.' Toss in frequent pranking and unwillingness to do anything game-wise to stand out, and you've got James in a nutshell.

Won: 8 days pixel suit; Outback dinner
TEAM CATEGORY 4

NOMINATED
Toot Braunstein is a retro Betty Boop type who wants to be seen as a sex symbol but has frequent drama fits and is ever anxious about her weight. She 'demands to be the center of attention.. and often instigates conflict in the house. Most of her humor revolves around her unattractiveness (especially her weight), her gluttony, or her frequent bouts of psychosis and alcoholism.' While this is a lot deeper/darker than I want to go with Michelle, the weight comments definitely apply with one major difference: Toots actually was overweight. She was originally based on BB3 Amy Crews - Michelle could do worse.

Won: Immunity 1st 2 evictions; Never-Not Pass
TEAM UNICORN

One of two Princess Claras, a Disney type princess who's pampered, bigoted, and hyper-religious. The latter two qualities don't apply here but Natalie does play the pampered princess role well. She also shares Toot's weight obsession with Michelle, and it's just as ridiculous for her as it is for Michelle. Natalie also shares some of Clara's naiveté when it comes to various worldly topics, but we can write some of that off to having spent her first seven years in another country and culture, I guess.

Won: $2,500
TEAM FREAKAZOID

The other Princess Clara, again the bigoted and hyper-religious parts don't apply but the naive part does, as well as Clara's habit of complaining loudly when everything isn't perfect in her world. Like all Disney princesses, Clara's on an endless quest to find her prince, and apparently Nicole is too since that what she seems to go on the show for.

Won: Outback dinner (guest)
TEAM BIG SISTER

Spanky Ham is a 'loud, sex-obsessed, obnoxious parody.. most of his humor revolves around his crudeness.' If that doesn't fit Paul, I don't know what does.

Won: 8 days pixel suit; Outback dinner
TEAM CATEGORY 4

WON VETO/DIDN'T USE
Captain Hero is a shallow and appearance-based Superman parody who is 'chauvinistic, perverted and lecherous.. most of his humor revolves around his perverse sexual tastes, his tendency toward violence, or his stupidity.' Again, fits like a glove. I don't know if Captain Hero ever peed in the pool or not, but Paulie likes to one-up everybody anyway.

Won: Revival; immunity 1st 2 evictions
TEAM UNICORN

HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD
Another Wooldoor Sockbat, or one of the lesser Sockbats whose names I don't know. They'd often appear in the background of Drawn Together crowd scenes.

Won: Outback dinner (guest)
TEAM BIG SISTER

NOMINATED
Foxxy Love is 'a promiscuous, mystery-solving musician.' I'm not saying Zakiyah is promiscuous or musical, but she is obviously gorgeous like Foxxy, and she does use her sexual charms to - what? I don't know what she's doing. She regularly announces she's over Paulie and then she's cuddling up to him or worse a few hours later. The guy didn't use his veto to save his showmance and bumpercar cuddle-bump buddy! If that doesn't tell her she's dispensable to him, I don't know what would.

Won: Outback dinner (guest)
TEAM BIG SISTER

She lasted longer than last time, but not as long as she hoped. Like Frank and Nicole, she started gaming too hard and turning on her fellow vets, when the four of them could have steamrolled the eejit noobs and gone all the way. Da'Vonne played better than some, planting little poison seedbombs against others that took root and grew, but they came back to bite her. She gave us good Diaries again, creative turns of phrase, deadly if-looks-could-kill glares, reaction faces deluxe, and occasional belly laughs. Now and then she dropped her game face and gave us a funny, relaxed one instead, and it was always good to see.

Won: 8 days pixel suit; Outback dinner
TEAM CATEGORY 4

He made a rookie mistake by playing too hard and fast, way too early, when he should have laid low and enjoyed the safety that was handed to him. But he played for his life last time, and he was mentored by the sidekick rather than the master. His social game was the best of the bunch till he got in trouble for slapping asses and being mouthy, but he's not a bad guy overall and his exit was a fatal hit for the feeds. Pixels were his third costume, a hamster record. His friendship with Bridgette was fun to watch, with funky movie retells and baking, and every random topic under the sun.

Won: $2,500
TEAM FREAKAZOID

She came in looking and sounding so much like Vanessa it was spooky, but it didn't take long to realize her game was more Audrey-style chaos and sabotage than poker-faced strategy. Paulie's the only one who didn't get that memo but that's Paulie for you. Two weeks in a row she didn't campaign to save herself nearly as much as others campaigned for her, but when she transformed into Free Agent IDGAF Tiffany it was a joy to behold. I'm surprised #They let one of the six stuntcasts go before jury, but it just goes to show the whole thing isn't as rigged as some believe.

Won: Immunity 1st 2 evictions
TEAM UNICORN

She went in saying she'd use behavioral sciences to maneuver her way to the win but she spent most of her time with Bridgette and Natalie who were barely playing BB. Her huge confession to them about being the 'secret nerd' and aspiring mathematician was just silly, and she'll always be remembered for not knowing what 9x9 is. She didn't bring much to the table beyond her abnormally high voice and hair bows, and even the hair bows didn't stick around. She seems like a pleasant enough person but like so many others, she should have gone on a dating show instead.

Won: Nothing
TEAM BIG SISTER

One of the most delusional hamsters ever (and that's saying something), he was convinced he owned the house, he was the messiah of the newbies, the savior, the sanctuary, and the next Mario Lopez. He wore his doggie comp suit for days, but mostly he just wore underpants. His gametalks with Paul and Victor were pure comedy since they had no clue whatsoever how far out of every loop they were, and The Jozea and Paul Talk Show concluded with the two of them roaming the house looking for a camera that worked. Jozea's shtick got old fast for many, but he was feeds gold for trainwreck fans like myself.

Won: $2,500
TEAM FREAKAZOID

I didn't like having to combine an intro with an obit, but that's how the dog biscuit crumbles. He seemed like a fun guy with potential for fun feeds, especially his admission that he'd be 'willing to flirt if necessary' but he also might have gotten into heated political discussions, and BB is not the place for that. He didn't technically get Jodi'd since he got to compete twice, but gone before feeds is never good, and neither is trial by combat. Too bad the token older/regular person/fan got the first boot but young, pretty, hormonal hamsters are all the rage anymore.

HOH's team members had immunity from nomination all week. Unlike HOH, the Roadkill winner could nominate someone from his/her team.

HOH named the renom if veto was used on one of his/her nominees. If the Roadkill nominee came off, Roadkill winner named the renom.

The CBS app (by CBS Interactive) plays BB air shows and other CBS shows, as well as feeds, or you can use your browser to watch feeds on mobile devices. The same All Access link used to subscribe will lead to the feeds viewing page if you're already signed up.

BB18 prizes are the same: $500k for the winner and $50k for 2nd place. Stipend for the others is $1,000 per week again, including pre-show hotel and jury sequester. Siblings might and veterans definitely get more.

The habitat has 87 HD cameras (up seven) and over 100 microphones.

The recorded in-house announcements are the voice of producer Don Wollman. He and Julie Chen are the only staffers who have been there since Big Brother 1.

and other pets. Never put it on or near a television, radio or hi-fi, or a fridge."
