It's so meaty
Ok, that works a lot better as a tagline on "The Soup" - it's more of a watered-down broth day in the habitatThey do their Wednesday photo snapping and Erika does her blog, and they eat lots of meat
There's not much game chat anymore, but Will works Erika for awhile, telling her they'll take out George next and he once again explains away his showmancing Janelle for the game (adding that she'd like to make it serious but that he's in love with Erin).. he slips at one point and says the remaining factions after Danielle & George are gone will be "Janelle, Chilltown and you" - oops - if she notices she doesn't let on.. hard to say if she equates his talk about stringing along Janelle with herself & Boogie either
He reports back to both Boogie and Janelle, who are each participating in body count hour.. none of them seem to know they'll lose two tomorrow, or that there's less than two weeks left
I'm not 100% sure of the current Will's Ultimate Plan and to be honest I'm not keeping up as it will all change after tomorrow night's double eviction, but I think his preferred third for finals is now George.. he'd told Erika that nobody can win against George in Final 2 but he knows he or Janelle would, and possibly Boogie too
Danielle packs.. Boogie's a little testy for much of the day and puts in extra naps.. George helps with laundry
It's so quiet in there now that Erika's bear is treated like one of them - it joins a card game at one point.. Will happens to peek in at us just as we're peeking back.. he jumps and calls Danielle over to see.. as usual, BB puts an end to the fun
Big Brother: Stop that!
Janelle sleeps away most of the day and evening.. outside, things are more casual than ever at the hot tub, with each of them displaying their own unique style
Will starts calling "Fire! Fire!" when the firepit smokes up a storm, hoping some neighbors might drop in to visit.. he brings up still more new topics of conversation including two of my favorites, the Cult and absinthe
"They can see you"
Later they get some booze and herd together, like they doDanielle goes to her private smoking lounge behind the sofa, likely unaware that she was seen smoking up a storm on CBS last night.. the others ask why she hides to smoke, and tell her the internet viewers can see her back there - she says no, we can't.. (yes, we can)
Boogie tells some celeb namedropping stories and asks Erika who she's been with that's famous and she says she won't tell, then says "Well, he's on my website so I might as well tell: Matthew McConaughey".. this leads to a discussion/argument between Boogie and Erika/Janelle over whether girls go home with guys at clubs or not.. Erika gets snippy and says something about "the sexiest man alive"
There's no drama, not much activity at all.. Janelle, George and Willboogie play a few rounds of spades at the chess lounge with Danielle watching after another not-hidden smoke break, then she & George go off to bed.. Will says he was joking in Diary about Boogie's whacking it, and how he can't use the jack shack anymore since Will broke it and has to use the ant room now.. they wonder if that'll ever get on tv and think probably not, but Boogie says it's cool if it does, it'll add to his street cred
The Final 3 (?) sit around outside for a long time, chatting & laughing - Will does most of the chatting.. he says what a solid alliance they are and they talk & joke about some of the evictees, including Howie and his big mouth, Kaysar and his wanting to believe what he was told, James and his bad acting, and Danielle and her hidden smoking, and how she won't know what's hit her tomorrow because that'll make better tvThey talk about their showmances, defining differences between fauxmance, flirtmance (Will & Janelle) and homance (BB2 Amanda & Dave).. Boogie doesn't definie his & Erika's but he says "there's a difference between intercourse and genitalia fondling"
They do some Jedi drilling before bed - Will's got it down, Boogie not so much.. Janelle probably does but she stays quiet.. it might be premature to say that I saw this coming, but what the heck.. back on July 26 it seemed far-fetched but slightly possible that we'd see Jedi Will before this was all over
It'll remain an ordeal here for a few more days to get this stuff posted up.. I'll try but I don't expect tomorrow's double eviction news will be posted in a very timely manner, sorry

   I can barely stay awake through the Sunday & Tuesday shows anymore but now that the numbers & sub-plots have dwindled, they seem to be getting the story straighter. Neal Patrick Harris wasn't a very special guest star and I'm more convinced than before that he's a pal of Willboogie's on the outside which, if true, is just wrong. And if not, there's still no excuse in hell to air Doogie Houser dropping yet another Dolce mention in his Diary scene. Christmas was a drag even with Chicken Claus involved: it was like looking through Christmas snapshots of some family you don't know - just plain dull. What could have (and should have) made this show was the finale, with Danielle chain-smoking as she harangued Erika for days outside, then leaning on the HOH doorbell for a long long long time. Instead they went easy on her edit, making everyone else's comments that!
she'd lost her mind seem silly & exaggerated.. once again, a prime example of awesomely good tv potential gone bad. |
   He spent most of his day napping and sniping at & about Janelle but turned it towards Erika a bit when the booze came out.. hmmm. He seems to have the lowest fanbase of any of them and it's hard to find anyone who's really behind him other than Will. For the life of me I still can't figure out why he keeps him around, but he's a vote and he's done pretty well following assignments. I could be missing something though as he's not at all watchable even when doing behaviors that would be feedster gold if it were anyone else. |
  NOMINATEDShe's toast and like James last week, she doesn't know it but seems to be aware at least on some level that it's coming. She probably isn't aware that her one- and two-time allies Willboogie are voting her out, but she'll do a classy exit and interview just the same. I'll miss her variety of expressions and watching her sneak cigs but I won't miss her everlasting filibusters. |
  HEAD OF HOUSEHOLDAfter at least three intense Boogie makeout/HJ sessions she turned very defensive when being interrogated by Boogie about one night stands and the like.. hmmm. I sure hope she's doing the Boogie thing as part of her game since a homance is at least a step above repeatedly going back to somebody who treats her the way he does. I'm not sure that half a million bucks would help her self-esteem, but I can't see the jury voting her against any of the others still there either. |
  NOMINATEDHe's planning on wearing his green spandex bodysuit for tomorrow's show: 'nuff said. I suppose it's better than wearing a bra on his head. |
  She sleeps 16 hours a day now and who can blame her? It's dull as dishwater in there. It isn't likely she'll follow Danielle out the door tomorrow as Erika can't go for HOH, George seems to want her to win, and Willboogie claim she's still in the Plan. You never can tell with hamsters though. |
  He & Janelle are making an art form out of reality show flirting but they've both said they're doing it for game (despite the electric chemistry between them). Bottom line, he's still talking up his girlfriend Erin Brodie and since she won $2 million flirting on tv, everyone's probably reading entirely too much into it all. Remember, this is the guy who pre-writes his Diaries: chances are that her pics being pulled off his MySpace page was another preplanned publicity stunt. |
    He ran a self-professed 'Janelle hate campaign' when she had his back, and called her a liar, traitor & worse on tv but he hooked up with Dani on Day 2. He promised to be more fun but wasn't much until the end, when he was great. He plays the game well but too hard and personal. The Dolly Wars will follow him but he'll be ok: it's just a little harm. |
   Love him or hate him, nobody can deny he's an individual. Two years running he's stayed truer to his partners than anyone while staying on good terms with everyone on all sides, in spite of behavior that would get most arrested. His act gets old and he drops trou a lot, but he's almost always upbeat and his heart is solid gold. We'd all be lucky to have a friend as loyal as Howie. |
   He had early alliances galore but blew them all off to mope & complain instead. Editing was far from kind and didn't even give us his best but it's his own doing (like most of his problems are). Hamsterwatch Most Photogenic award winner, especially since he started posing for renaissance paintings. |
   He said his heart wasn't in it this year and that he was saving his big moves for later: both fatal in the BB house, and not kicking out Will when he could was pivotal to the season. But he shaved his head for the game and stopped twisting his hair too. Good to see him again and overnighters especially will miss him. |
   Sadly, she didn't stand a chance this year. She came in defeated & involved in a feud, and lost all her partners. Mrs. Smith didn't give us the fireworks she's capable of but she's always an all-star in my book and I wish her well. |
   His alliances and behavior were all over the map this time and both got him kicked out. He went out the back door again but it wasn't intentional this time. So long, mirror-face. |
   Not the most charismatic and she didn't start playing in time, but each side kicked her out so the other couldn't have her. Kudos to her for having the guts to return. |
   She worked out and hid in a vase but the potential for catfights & dramatics left with her. She didn't live up to her skanky rep: good for her, bad for us. |
