Marcellas goes up
In spite of several reassuring promises from Janelle that she wouldn't nominate him, she didWill had worked on her long & hard about "the cancer in the house" but as of last night/this morning around 2am she told Howie she was going to do what she felt she needed to - right or wrong - and put up George to ensure Erika goes away
James wandered into the downstairs bathroom where they were talking around 3am and started one of his spiels.. Will may have gotten back to her today too (I missed it if so), and after the veto ceremony Danielle had veto'd herself out of the eviction chair and Marcellas was in her place
Naturally Danielle, Erika & Marcellas go through their gamut of anti-Janelle stuff afterward
They continue to eat well, between steaks & snacks, slop concoctions by & for George, banana bread by Janelle, burgers and sandwiches.. boring you say? Sorry, but it's more interesting and more palatable (pun intended) than following their endless complaining, whispering & plotting
After most everyone's eaten, they send us to flames and WAY TOO LOUD music while they get pizza, cake, music & booze for their halfway point party.. it doesn't last nearly as long as prior years' halfway parties have - possibly due to an apparently major food fight - we catch a glimpse to find them hosing down the lawn, complaining about the pool chemicals balance, and cleaning up the spattered house.. we hear a few bars of Rick James (bitch!) "Superfreak" before they go back to the party and/or cleanup
Later George says he's glad he's stuck long enough to have been a part of the food fight, and that he'd never experienced anything like it

STOP THE PRESSESJames & Boogie go off to bed and the rest of them actually play a game together and actually have fun, kinda
Okay, the between-the-lines lines are thick with game innuendo, but it's almost a good time
Will & Erika share a shower chat before cards - it seems to be the usual blah blah you'll be safe, although I don't really follow.. I do catch "go sleep with Boogie" though
Cards in the living room starts with a few rounds of Bullshit (which I don't understand) followed by a round of Stick A Card To Your Forehead (which they don't understand)
That leads into Assassin, where whoever gets the ace of spades winks at someone else who then dies.. it's kind of silly but cute to watch.. I'm not sure why Marcellas, Janelle & Will play it from behind the furniture.. Howie joins - watch the video
Their dialog has lots of "you cheated!", "Janelle's a lousy actress" and "I fooled you that time" - take away the cards and you get what they're thinking about the other game they're all playing
Assorted snippets of the day are few, but I have to laugh when Howie (of all people) corrects Danielle (of all people) as far as how many evictions remain - she gives it to him, grudgingly.. Erika & Danielle snicker over Janelle's weight gain in there and James tells them that he calls her Anna Nicole now - even Danielle counters that she's not nearly that big.. Will's talking a lot about what a drip James is

Diary's doing its usual late Monday night calls to add material or do retakes for the editors to fiddle with for tomorrow night's show.. they're even waking them up to go in there tonight - maybe they came up with a new storyline that fits all their video snippets and need to flesh it out.. we'll find out
They'll flip-flop 100 times between Erika & Marcellas between now and Thursday's vote (plus they all continue to mislead each other), and neither the Coup d'Etat answer nor exactly how it works will be announced til then either.. speculation, like resistance, is useless
Bedtime chat between Howie & Janelle includes this gem from Howie "I think Will's more trustworthy than James", to which Janelle answers "I know.. isn't that horrible?"
Most of them keep saying this is the best Big Brother ever and how entertaining they're being for the internet, but they're all liars

   TURN THE VOLUME DOWN ON THE FLAMES MUSICThey're all complaining about having cake in their ears but did we see the only fun couple of hours they've had in 2 or 3 weeks? Hell no! If the Coup phrase does turn out to be 'you reap what you sow' then something's more wrong than usual. Sure, a non-evicted nominee might target the person who put them up the following week, but in general hamsters rarely get what they dish out. CBS loves to edit it with an eye-for-an-eye mentality (it's that simplistic revenge plotline that network tv thrives on) but in actuality Big Brother events rely more on chance, successful coattailing and personal interactions than Karma Electra. Can't wait for the prom <snore> |
   Seems he's making out with Erika to make 'good tv' when he votes her out. I say they're made for each other. |
  She seems to have three topics of conversation: BB Season 3, herself, and how great she is. I'm a little tired of them all. I'm also a little tired of her 'translating' what feedsters think and say about her - it's rarely what I'm thinking at the time. |

He has the least amount of fun no matter what's going on, and he can't run back & forth fast enough to hatch his latest schemes. He's my least favorite to watch in there, and that's saying something.   HEAD OF HOUSEHOLDHer Chase Will routine has gotten as old as his Chase Janelle, but that's what they do. She often wonders about the possibility that both Will & James are playing her, giving her fans hope, then she lets them both continue to play her. It's disheartening and disappointing, and the edits CBS keeps giving her aren't helping.. even her fans are turning away in droves. |
  NOMINATEDJanelle had at least two convos with him guaranteeing she wouldn't put him up, and then she did. You can't blame the guy for being bitter & miserable (this time only). |
  His act is wearing thin but apparently none of them saw BB2 nor heard about his act which is pretty funny. Feedsters are falling into the same trap: anyone falling for his spiel that Erin will break up with him for flirting with Janelle forgets that she won $2 million by flirting on tv. If anyone gets it, she does. |
    He said his heart wasn't in it this year and that he was saving his big moves for later: both fatal in the BB house, and not kicking out Will when he could was pivotal to the season. But he shaved his head for the game and stopped twisting his hair too. Good to see him again and overnighters especially will miss him. |
   Sadly, she didn't stand a chance this year. She came in defeated & involved in a feud, and lost all her partners. Mrs. Smith didn't give us the fireworks she's capable of but she's always an all-star in my book and I wish her well. |
   His alliances and behavior were all over the map this time and both got him kicked out. He went out the back door again but it wasn't intentional this time. So long, mirror-face. |
   Not the most charismatic and she didn't start playing in time, but each side kicked her out so the other couldn't have her. Kudos to her for having the guts to return. |
   She worked out and hid in a vase but the potential for catfights & dramatics left with her. She didn't live up to her skanky rep: good for her, bad for us. |
