Let's review: Janelle said to Diane "If I don't nominate you, can that be like a sign of trust?" and Diane said yes The game this year is in the subtleties of the language, at least for some of the players.. you gotta love it The day starts with Kaysar wearing a leftover birthday hat as a silent shout-out to an undisclosed someone out here.. Danielle opens the coffee - no decaf and plenty of it, please.. Will downs the first protein shake of his day     I'm missing a lot of pivotal daytime stuff lately (who knew they'd do anything in daylight?) but apparently Kaysar gave Janelle his approval for the Diane plan, and they agreed that he'd start pretending to be in with James and mad at Janelle Read that again, please.. it's little details like this that can change how everything is perceived.. thanks After the veto flames and WAY TOO LOUD music we find a shocked Diane (she isn't usually one for subtleties but maybe his time she's thinking of Janelle's words).. Danielle & Marcellas sound oh so compassionate and understanding (and personally relieved).. Janelle's already planted in green back in the pink     Diane: At least I'm ready for it this time Diane: She must have something against me.. I don't know what unless it's something outside Diane: I guess she didn't think an apology was sincere Reminder: Last year Janelle made some comments about Diane on the feeds that weren't complimentary.. Diane heard about it and posted some things on Jokers that weren't complimentary.. they eventually apologized but neither is too sure how sincere the other's apology was.. they talked about it Thursday night and made up kinda, with a hug This feud was probably part of the reason Janelle was one of those called by Diane's ex-roomie and BB7 hamster-by-proxy Toni Ferrari, when she had her own falling out with Diane and tattled about Mr. & Mrs. Smith before the season started.. does controversy follow Diane everywhere? It seems to, but you need to know this stuff.. there may be a quiz and/or catfight later Boogie & Erika (in pink again today) don't show as much overt sympathy for Diane as Danielle & Marcellas - all of which makes sense really - but they're there and nodding.. Diane's holding up very well considering she's on the block and considering she's Diane.. but she likes to be the center of attention and hasn't been very much til now     Danielle tells Willboogie about the Diane/Janelle feud and James assists.. Diane returns and they continue, but leave out the Diane's retaliatory section.. then Danielle & Willboogie are alone and have a major check-in and notes comparison between interruptions where they lapse seamlessly back to the song & artist game.. Will tells her he & Boogie promised their votes to Janelle this week and will keep their word     Watch the videos part 1 and part 2 James & Diane lie around complaining for awhile - she for her nom and he for his plans falling apart - she promises him her vote if she's on the jury, and he provides the line of the day by telling the newly-nearly-evicted "It's just another wasted week" <thud> Kaysar's recon on the recon man results in a lot of James doesn't trust Janelle and "she's not stupid but she's not intelligent like a rocket scientist, and she's cunning".. the tone isn't complimentary.. nobody's a happy camper around James these days     George keeps slopping along while all kinds of tasty food is prepped in his face.. he's on Day 10 and borrowing clothes now since his are getting too big     Danielle & Will have a long & laughy convo about wrestling stars then and now.. others wander in & out of it.. Marcellas says he just had the longest diary ever, then heads back up to the pink where Janelle sleeps all day     Much of the wrestlemania chat is just fun for two fans, but it's interesting to watch how they all work.. Danielle & Will each encourage the others to talk about their seasons & their game, and they learn about that hamster by the way they tell it.. they rarely talk about their own game style - nor does Janelle.. George asks a lot of questions about everyone's season, but nobody knows what he does with the info Howie visits Janelle who says she's depressed and feels bad about Diane.. Howie says not to, it's business - watch the video Here we go again Danielle & Marcellas launch into a nasty attack about Janelle Diane stays mostly quiet.. Erika chips in here & there but her stuff isn't as pointed or personal It's a nasty episode and very reminiscent of Maggie, April & Ivette - watch the video     Janelle finally gets up and joins the downstairs crowd.. no fights break out.. she plays pool with Will     James & Danielle decide to try to save Diane for their team, to go against Janelle.. Marcellas floats in for awhile and the subject changes, then he floats out again James & Danielle shake on this "new" plan of theirs.. "balls out!" Watch the videos: part 1 - part 2 Immediately after, Danielle whispers with Boogie to see if he & Will would vote to keep Diane.. he says they promised their votes to Janelle and want to keep their word, but "from here on out you act as our advisor, tell us what to do, what we need to know" Danielle sits down alone for a minute and talks to Amy.. then Janelle & Marcellas are there - Danielle gives Janelle "a tour" as if she's never been there.. they tour the whole downstairs, pointing out where everyone sleeps, the crappy beds, the crappy "IKEA furniture" - flames and WAY TOO LOUD music for that one.. Danielle asks for a tour of the pink palace and they go up.. Dani says it's very clean but not as clean as James' was, and that the bathroom is very dirty.. it's all very condescending and kinda spooky     Danielle [alone]: Amy, why aren't you here? Why am I here? I'd like to get you back and Jason back.. now that'd be a show ummm we've seen that show - this is BB7 Diane hookahs outside with Marcellas & George.. she asks Marcellas if the votes are promised? Is it wasting her time if she campaigns? Erika arrives just as Diane mentions "somebody".. Will talks to Kaysar in the hot tub for a long time, mostly about business, Will's businesses, etc.. later he tells Boogie "he's got no life experience at all - there wasn't anything else he could talk about"     Diane: Every time I try to talk to someone, somebody keeps stopping me.. it's not fair - well, I guess it's first come, first serve Willboogie have a quick check-in - it's very whispery but basically Boogie reports on his Danielle convo, and it sounds like they'll ask/hope/make Danielle put up someone from BB6 next week - thus not doing it themselves, and Boogie assigns Fantastic Four characters to them - watch the videos part 1 - part 2 Janelle & Erika sit down to play chess.. the convo is so simplistically symbolic they drop it.. Boogie does a drive-by for awhile and later Will does too     Erika: It doesn't have to be a game of picking off the pieces huh? Janelle: Hm-mm.. I play it mostly with pawns .... Janelle [about Diane]: Is she sad? Boogie: No, but I think she's going to take some action or something Kaysar rendezvous with Janelle finally, in the pink.. she says again she feels bad about Diane, and they realize they've taken out half of the America's Choice players already - watch the video.. he doesn't give up half of the bad news about James.. then they break out into some unscripted fun by doing George impressions - watch the video.. Howie & Janelle visit James downstairs between Janelle meals (she's complaining about gaining weight already).. James is still morose & grumpy.. a bit later he sucks some more nitrous oxide from another whip cream can - they didn't get any booze tonight     Janelle knows how angry James is, but I don't think she knows he's planning her demise.. Kaysar does but eiher doesn't believe it or doesn't want to tell Janelle how bad it is - he says he wants to keep the team intact.. Janelle tells him she's sure that neither Marcellas, Erika nor Danielle are after her This little piggie Danielle & Marcellas entertain Diane, Erika, and themselves in the red room (redrum) for a long time, telling stories, laughing and being silly James is there too, but mostly quiet, looking tense and hardly cracking a smile.. he contributes to one subject thread - something about his mom coming home from church and he's drunk - he tells it in a disinterested monotone that's stark contrast to the way they were whooping it up, and the fun's over They talk about self-image awhile.. Marcellas says something his toes.. Danielle says he shouldn't be ashamed "It's just a little snaggle toe, a crooked one".. Marcellas says now it'll end up on some website.. "I'm not part of your internet freak show!" Danielle says it's no big thing, but tells the others "that's why he always wears socks with flops".. from then on the crew's relentless with zooms to his feet, hoping to catch a glimpse of whatever it is     Will goes to bed and finds George asleep on the floor.. he laughs, rouses him and tells him to get in his bed but he lays back down.. Will goes to bed on the floor too     Marcellas is back in the pink.. the camcrew discovers he's barefoot and they're on the hunt.. he & Janelle are giggly and he too ends up on the floor but doesn't stay there     These hamsters are too easy: the mission's accomplished within an hour of launching and my sidebar is already out of date.. turns out it's no big deal at all, just a little piggie with personality.. meanwhile Howie stays true to his own personality with a trip to his jack shack   Janelle & Marcellas laugh into the wee hours as if everything's the same and nothing had been said by one about the other.. maybe the nasty stuff is game on Marci's part or maybe this is, I don't know.. (I can get away with that cuz it's my site) All-stars was a bad idea that gets worse every day. All they can talk about outside of game is their own prior seasons and their existing interpersonal relationships ad nauseum, plus stuff they know is forbidden so we get strobing flames and WAY TOO LOUD music all day and all night. They may be the stars of the show but there is no show without fans & viewers, and these all-stars insult us personally and insult our intelligence on a daily basis. Feedmasters, producers, staff & interns: I know you read this page. If you can't get these spoiled children to behave, start doing something about it or you won't have a dozen active Superpass subscriptions by mid-August and the air show ratings will drop below Nickelodeon reruns. Send them to the naughty corner of the house and start withholding their many privileges til they learn to behave, and start punishing the guilty parties (the hamsters) instead of us paying subscribers who provide the revenue. He's still a weasel but he's proving to be a not-so-bad Igor/errand boy for the doctor. It seems like he's too excited to have these big players confide in him though.. he may blow it in a big way sooner or later. Or not.. if it's all scripted, he's finishing first or second. Her secret alliance with James is a bust now but he's too obvious to have lasted with her long. She's in with Willboogie from before the show too and that's valuable for both sides but is she going to put all her eggs in the evil doctor's basket? I think not. I bet she's still got a 'secret-er' alliance tucked away and I still suspect it's Marcellas, but if I'm wrong I'll admit it. Maybe. In the meantime she's playing too hard, too fast and too nasty - nobody likes the negative campaign smear ads at election time and this is no different. She's awesomely good at this game but she's not playing - she's working round the clock and she makes for such distasteful viewing in that mode that when she eases back into fun-time Dani few can enjoy it. NOMINATED She held up well for her second nomination, especially a surprise one. She thinks it's personal from Janelle and that may give us a catfight before Thursday but Diane's heart just isn't in it this year. She hasn't shown any of her usual spunk & guts and that's her loss as well as ours. I still would have liked to see Diane & Janelle team up to take them all on, but it wasn't in the euchre cards. She's almost certainly going to go Thursday and Janelle says she feels bad about it, and that'll wipe out BB5. If it's scripted it makes sense: BB5 never came out on DVD, and with both Diane & Jase out they probably won't have to pay the crew overtime for the endurance comp. NOMINATED She shows how smoothly she's infiltrated just about everything a little more each day, and nobody's willing to kick her out. But they need to: she's a drag and will destroy the feedster experience if she sticks around til the final weeks. If it's all scripted she's bound to linger on - she's obviously a producer fave.. working for 'Survivor' can't hurt (though it should have disqualified her from even showing up.) He's having the best summer ever. He's gone from being #1 on everyone's hit parade (for no reason) to becoming everyone's pal.. okay, he's more like the uncle they like but don't want to hang out with all day. But he's losing weight, being told everyone's dirt, and he doesn't cause any problems or complain even on endless slop. He's the only one grateful to be there even though they all accepted the offer. If it's scripted he's right where he should be. Low profile day and that's fine, and yea I know it's an oxymoron to say somebody's low profile who's cussing at full volume playing badminton or pool in the background of most every whispered convo, but that's Howie. He's on board with Janelle after all: if it's all scripted I guess it just means he screwed up his storyline for a couple days, just like Janelle did when it was Kaysar mutiny week. It seems like he put all his faith into two alliances: BB6 for show & strength and Danielle for the distance, and he probably thought he was being cagey doing so. But Dani knew that and made other plans too - why didn't he? Their styles are too similar for them to get far on their own and they're already outed to everyone before anyone even goes to jury. Now he's trying to round up last second support to keep Diane and have one extra body around but Janelle and/or Willboogie got to everyone first. He should be fun viewing in his paranoid daze but he's just dull & predictable, and nobody likes seeing a guilt-tripper laying down the trip when his were the first hands dirtied. It's ironic that he thinks he's the ultimate player while he gets played by everyone.. he probably could have pulled it off if he'd let BB6 in on his alternate plan and then rode the fastest train home, but he wanted to be the sneaky guy again and he can't blame it on his teamies this time. It might be good fireworks when it all comes out, but for now he's been outplayed, outwitted, and he needs to be outlasted: send him on his merry way. I'll throw in a case of nitrous-laced Redi-wip for his sour grapes. HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD She still isn't telling anyone what she's really up to so I'm going to dream a little dream that it's all calculated. She took a big risk and it might backfire - they all say they're out to get her now - but she can veto her way out of most anything and probably even get the votes she may need. Look how long she lasted against last year's foes who hated her far more than these do.. so far. I'd like to think she's taking out Diane (and had a big hand in taking out Jase) because they're the undisputed endurance champs of this group along with Kaysar - but theirs was harder and they didn't do it coming off a week of rest & room service. Janelle's in pretty good with Willboogie - at least it seems that way - Thursday's vote will tell for sure, and they're going to go along with whoever goes furthest, cleanest. Marcellas may be the same story since he trashes everyone equally who's not present, but it's going to sting when she sees the vile stuff he's said about her even if it's just for the game. We'll see how it all plays out, but that's my script and I'm sticking to it. I'm waffling about the waffle king. He's come out of his mope and apparently was supposed to cozy up to James and get some dirt, but by end of the day he reported back to Janelle little more than 'he's a little upset'. Kaysar heard a lot from James today but it seems like he doesn't want to believe it, that he still thinks he can reform their team of four without damage, and he finds it distasteful to 'spy' on someone who's supposed to be on his side. Well guess what Kaysar? James isn't on your team at all if that team includes Janelle, and just 'cause you don't want to see it doesn't mean it isn't so. Wake up and come back to reality tv: it's a dirty game. If it's all scripted, the writers have no clue what to do with him anymore either since he refuses to play his assigned role. It was good to see him cracking up with Janelle over 'it's not so bad' though. Happy birthday to whoever the hat's for. Vile bed-hopping snitch or just playing both sides to advance himself? It really doesn't matter at this point.. his choice of words to describe Janelle was just awful, and made worse after she fought to protect him. He stuck to Janelle like glue for another Thursday to Monday cycle, and now that he's safe once more he's off on his own again most of the day & evening - how transparent is that? Not to mention Danielle, which he didn't once again when it was open season for nominee candidates.. do the math. If it's scripted, I bet they'd like to see the back of him sooner than later, but not til they find out what's up with his toes. They all expect him to be playing the same game he did on BB2 and so do half the feedsters but he hasn't lied yet, and he's attached himself to all the power players without trashing the others. Bash him if you want - he is arrogant and the first to admit it - but all his accomplishments are verifiable and that's more than most of them can say. Bottom line: four weeks of 'evict me' and he's still there stronger than ever. Accept it.. he owns them all, each and every one. His alliances and behavior were all over the map this time and both got him kicked out. He went out the back door again but it wasn't intentional this time. So long, mirror-face. Not the most charismatic and she didn't start playing in time, but each side kicked her out so the other couldn't have her. Kudos to her for having the guts to return. She worked out and hid in a vase but the potential for catfights & dramatics left with her. She didn't live up to her skanky rep: good for her, bad for us.
