Ratings - Donuty Goo edition

Their tweets are becoming as cryptic as all their other agendas lately, what with Allison and Julie (and/or their social media minions) tweeting all kinds of spoilers and teasers lately. I have my own theories on what it all means, but I've often been accused of being a conspiracy theorist when it comes to BB. Anyway, it's possible and even likely the tweets don't mean anything more than face value: teasers to get people to watch their TV show. Thursday's wasn't a bad one once again, even though the misdirection about keeping Shelly was obviously just that to anyone who'd been paying attention, but Shelly's promised ring being a fake was a nice revelation. The jury footage was so many smiles after we'd been led to expect blood, but those three vets are getting a nice paycheck and they know it. I can do without the staged entrances and watching them watch comps we've already seen, but that's what we get at this time of the season.
Paired with Dominic - GOLDEN KEY Paired with Shelly Won: One week elf suit No vote (nominee) Once again, he didn't win but once again, he didn't really need to: the only comps that really matter in BB begin now. He kept it light through the night with his usual good spirits and banter, and really, what else do we need?	Paired with Jeff Paired with Rachel Won: One week catsuit + tutu VTE Shelly Unlike fellow loser Adam, she beat herself up for losing another comp that she too didn't need to win, and she moped around all night and went to bed early because she's safe - what's up with that? That kind of behavior does not make for good hamsterwatching at all and earned her a solid negative, but she rebounded to neutral when she waiting for Rachel to come out of her 3am Diary call to run damage control after Kalia's monologue. But where's our silly girl with the funny faces and goofy voices?
Paired with Lawon Paired with Porsche Won: $5k, Caribbean trip VTE Adam Another lost comp and another injury of some sort, that's Kalia. Also typical, she followed Rachel up to HOH when she went up to bed, and talked her ear off for a couple hours, campaigning for safety that isn't going to happen. We also got her life story again, and everything else she's ever said in there again. Her non-stop talking is easy to ignore, but she lost me for good with the throwing the dog into the wall story and every repetition of it since, and I hope she's gone Tuesday.	Paired with Keith - GOLDEN KEY Paired with Kalia Won: $5k No vote (HOH) She had some good lines on tonight's show, a long whispery chat with Adam while Kalia was bending Rachel's ear, and she issued a deadpan 'I broke the fridge' when the bottom shelf came out. That's all I got.
Paired with Brendon Paired with Jordan VTE Shelly HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD Big ups for winning another HOH when she needed it, which is her specialty, and for not being all gloaty about it, which is not - but it's really nice to see these kinds of changes in her. Her blank expression and folded arms body language during Kalia's spiel seemed to say it all, but she sounded like she had fallen for a bit of it when Jordan paid a 3am visit. Rachel on her own has proven to be a really bright, logical, reasonable, and not unlikeable hamster - quite the opposite of what she's like when Buki's around.	Paired with Cassi - GOLDEN KEY Paired with Adam Won: 24 hours solitary, phone call She'd said she didn't want to fill the mom role but she represented the demo well, being a friend to most of them when they were down and handing out good advice. She also bashed with the best of them, smoked and cleaned non-stop, and she introduced the hilarious stealth hammock creep. She took a lot of flak for things she did and didn't do, but she played the game the way it was designed to be played, and it took them 55 days to figure her out.
Paired with Jordan Won: $15k His sense of entitlement to be there and win was as strong as the other vets, but it didn't work out for him this time either. He went out on a bitter note but he gave us his share of funny one-liners while he lasted, especially when he was losing. He had issues with Dumbledore, was a formidable opponent for the new grill and for Adam & Shelly's cigarette supplies, he won all the cash to date, and he'll probably get yet another CBS show after this.	Paired with Dick - GOLDEN KEY/TICKET Won/used: Veto ticket She looked & acted different this time, especially when she joked & laughed which was great to see, but she failed at her former specialty of winning vetos and she went back to whining when on the block and on slop. Like all the vets, she had a sense of entitlement but she turned on them too soon, got Dominic booted, and later evicted her teamie Lawon. She shuffled her deck and almost had an 11th hour save, but it 'literally' didn't work out.
Paired with Rachel Won: 1 week revival His return was twice unwelcome, especially now that he's had a year to suck the life and Vegas out of Rachel. This time he wore superhero suits, used not-funny voices, lost a toy turtle, lectured everyone, and had big goofy smiles for Big Booty & Porsche's striptease. He had a pathetic sense of entitlement and made a giant stink about Rachel calling him Buki.	Paired with Kalia Won: nothing My favorite hamster in years, he came out with his best stuff late nights so many missed it, but he gave great Diary, wore kooky outfits and officiated at the trashbag wedding with tremendous style & flair. He caught flak for pawning himself out the door but his teamies encouraged it and put him up, so it's not all on him. He was Lawonderful with a fantastic laugh and he'll be missed.
Paired with Adam Won: nothing He was the first casualty of Daniele's too hard/too fast strategy but he didn't help himself by not brushing up more on how BB works. He told a lot of pointless lies about his modeling, schooling, virginity and then fessed up to them, which might have come back to bite him anyway. His adolescent jokes & behavior did nothing for me.	Paired with Shelly Won: nothing She started off okay and had Dominic in her pocket, but Shelly befriended her so well that when they were both nominated, Cassi just laid down and died. She complained a lot, failed to fulfill her catfight potential, and was the third model in a row to be booted out second. She had the best Mirror-Face since BB5/7 Jase.
Paired with Porsche Won: nothing He claimed to be a fan since BB1 but even watching only CBS, he clearly wasn't paying attention: who throws a veto comp when they're on the block? He went in with a clearly outlined womanizing strategy which failed miserably, he set off another BB Weinergate, and he panicked himself right out the door.	Paired with Daniele Won: nothing We haven't had a premiere night no-show since BB9 Jacob, and we haven't had a mysterious early exit since BB9 Neil. These pairs twist seasons just seem to complicate things for production. No real word yet on why Dick's gone (and there may never be) but he sure was looking rough in the premiere.
