This site is about the Big Brother 13 feeds and contains spoilers! It isn't necessarily thorough: it's what I catch and/or what interests me, and it isn't necessarily about who will win, who should win, who's cute or who's horrid. It's about watching hamsters: who's doing what and why. If they aren't entertaining, get rid of 'em! Thanks for encouraging my behavior. Your pal, dingo

FAQ
Duos were reinstated after Porsche opened Pandora's Box

Brendon was revived a week after eviction after apparently beating the other three evictees to date in a CBS poll, and beating August 11 evictee Lawon in a live ball-chute comp.

They called Adam's elf Cruddy and his beardless look Phillip.

Brendon's knees got messed up from the food comp with the ant costumes.

They called Dominic PT for pre-teen, a running gag about how young he looks, and/or part-time, referring to his modeling career.

Nominations & veto were pairs-based until there were 10 left.

The evictee's surviving partner got one of four Golden Keys, meaning they couldn't be nominated or play for HOH until there were 10 left.

Dick left mysteriously, off the feeds, due to 'personal reasons' per him and CBS. We may never know the full story.

CBS shows air Sundays and Wednesdays at 8pm, and live eviction Thursdays at 9pm

Big Brother After Dark airs 1-4am Thursdays and 12-3am other nights, on Showtime in USA and Global Reality in Canada

BB13 prizes are the same: $500k for the winner and $50k for 2nd place. The others still earn $750 a week including pre-show hotel and jury sequester. The BB veterans might get more.

The habitat has 52 cameras and 95 microphones.

The recorded Big Brother in-house announcements are the voice of producer Don Wollman.

All feeds stay on one 'scene' when someone's in Diary.

Shocker! (Monday)

Today's veto meeting is such a pointless exercise, I'm going ahead and posting the results before it's taken place: Rachel took herself & Jordan off the block, and Porsche replaced them with Adam & Shelly.. seriously, why even bother with this ceremony? They don't with the final veto since there's no other possible outcome, same as today

Adam & Shelly already knew what was coming along with everyone else, and both were just fine afterwards, chatting sociably as if nothing had changed.. that might not have been the case if certain others had been in their place today, known outcome or not

Earlier, Shelly watched a little bird hopping around above her head, which lent a kooky "Brady Bunch" type effect to quads, like she was watching Jordan drying her hair above her.. Rachel told Jordan she got a pregnancy test from Diary and it was negative, but that rumor will never die even though her math was way off in the first place.. I hope you all don't expect me to follow every repetitious strategy & campaign conversation for you this week - if so, you might be disappointed

0

Storyline creation

Nonetheless, some game stuff creeps in even if you try to avoid it, especially since that's all this group does.. they all sat outside comparing Shelly notes for awhile while she napped, figuring out a lot of the things she'd been doing all along (and blaming her for a lot she didn't), and realizing they'd been duped by a smarter player than themselves.. Shelly woke up and wandered out but they didn't say "hey the jig's up, you're going, let's have a nice week," as that is not the hamster way of proceeding with these things.. afterwards, Rachel made a pitch to Jordan that maybe they should keep Shelly after all, since she's everyone's target now - that probably won't go anywhere but it might show up on CBS since Jordan was dressed in only a towel

Showtime brought baking projects, doggie chat, and another apology from Shelly to Jordan (the intense one the other night was late night, and their big fight just hit CBS last night).. Rachel & Jordan were called into Diary together, reviving memories of Dr Will & Boogie's famous phone calls, and when they came out Rachel was all excited about proposing Operation Sleepover Party to Jordan, in which they'd glom onto Porsche & Kalia separately and be fake BFFs, also reminiscent of Dr Will's BB7 strategy - things that make you go hmmm

Adam had several chats with himself and/or us throughout the day & night: he sounds depressed, discouraged and disappointed with himself.. each time he bounced up to join the others without letting on, but he relapsed here & there during his many one-on-one convos with the various girls wooing him for his future votes - he seems to realize they all just want him temporarily.. but most of tonight was Kalia talking

0

The longest week (Sunday)

It's only Sunday: they should be laying around or eating, but since the veto results are inevitable and known to all, post-veto meet campaigning has begun early.. Porsche kicked it off by asking Adam not to make any deals with Rachel or Jordan - she said it with a tone that sounded more like an order, but she did say please

Meanwhile Shelly went to work on Jordan & Rachel, which sent those two off to the confrontation/conference center formerly known as the Have-not room to rehash the season to date, again, and to weigh their options.. then Adam joined them and they went through it all again, and made a three-way deal despite Porsche's request/order.. the vets are expecting the noobs to throw HOH comps again/still, even at this late date.. Shelly told Jordan & Rachel about the fortune teller, so now they all know

The Shelly death threats and such are seeping beyond our little insulated BB world, so that's another item for my tally and one I'm not happy to put there.. some of the hardcore haters are now suggesting that Tony planted that stuff for sympathy and/or to keep Shelly in the game longer.. what kind of moron would believe a regular guy would say his daughter should be raped & murdered just so his wife could get some more TV time or any amount of money, I don't know, but it saddens me that some do

Some have asked if they'll let Shelly know this is going on and I'm pretty sure the answer is no: in the past they've only notified them when a family member has died (twice I think; the first also gave them a reason to tell them about 9/11), plus whatever happened with Dick.. if Shelly knew, she'd be devastated and would probably leave immediately.. Tony knows, and that's what matters right now.. TMZ reported that the FBI might be called in, and I hope they are

BBQ Smackdown: Round 3 The Big Slip

The rookie grill finally roared up to its hoped for potential tonight, and it took out its first victim.. perhaps all the bloodthirsty chaos surrounding it the last few days revved up its game, or perhaps the legendary fighting spirit of the retired metal monster was somehow morphed into the new Weber.. it doesn't really matter how a champion is born, only that it is

A group effort was underway to make chicken quesadillas, and Rachel offered to help Adam grill the chicken for them.. she poked, she prodded, she grasped at the slippery fowl, but the rookie grill claimed its place as a Smackdown star to be reckoned with when it opened up and swallowed one of the pieces.. big ups to @MitchellDamon1 for the ticket.. your flashback is 8/28 7.30pm

Final score: BBQ 1, Rachel 0

Ratings - Where's Daniele's Extended Julie Interview? edition

Ratings are still based on not much, since there still isn't much to go on

Monday: The title question has been answered. I thought maybe they'd forgotten to post it, or perhaps lost it, but it turns out Daniele didn't even get an extended sit-down with Julie - you gotta wonder why not? I think I've figured out the schedule for the remaining shows and have posted it in Upcoming Events on the right sidebar, to be updated if needed as confirmed info comes out.

Sunday: Sunday's was quite an action packed show, even if it was stuff that should have been on the feeds in the first place. You have to love how Jeff got to re-enter the habitat to do post-eviction Diaries, but Julie didn't even stick around to host the HOH comp. Also they didn't address the second $5k (Kalia got it) or the potential veto dilemma with what seems to have been a last minute rerun of duos due to losing Daniele & Jeff in one swoop. Was this the first Sunday show that delayed noms til the next show? I was hoping they'd have a PSA at the end to address and condemn the threats on Shelly's daughter, even if they worded it vaguely, but no such luck, and it rages on.

Paired with Dominic - GOLDEN KEY
Paired with Shelly
Won: One week elf suit
NOMINATED
Monday: When did 'camera talking' become a bad thing? I like it when hamsters talk to us - it's the only way we get a real inkling of what's really going on in their pointy little heads, and precious few have done it over the years. I'm grateful that Adam does it, even if it's when he's feeling down.

Sunday: He's campaigning a lot, telling a lot, and being told a lot, and he's very disappointed that he trusted Shelly so much. He's even suspicious of some of the stuff that she was truthful with him about, but that's how paranoia works at Day 58 in the habitat. He & Jordan are too nice for this game. Luckily, Fara and all his people in Hoboken are fine after Irene came to visit.

Paired with Jeff
Paired with Rachel
Won: One week catsuit + tutu
Monday: She's doing lots of game talk now but notice that she's making handshake deals these days. Everyone knows that it's not valid with Jordan unless it's a pinky-swear and she's got two of those left: Kalia and Rachel. I don't think she's up to the job she's been assigned for Operation Sleepover Party. She tried buddying up with Kalia tonight but quickly gave up the impossible task of trying to slip a word in edgewise.

Sunday: See Adam, with the addition that her tears are some powerful weapons of mass destruction. Governments should be courting her to get a sample so they can synthesize them.

Paired with Lawon
Paired with Porsche
Won: $5k, Caribbean trip
Monday: I'll let SPCA, PETA or somebody more qualified than me deal with the doggie stuff, but you have to admit it's pretty funny that her biggest problem with her dog is that it barks too much. Also, it dawned on me tonight that she may be the only hamster who ever moved to LA to give up acting.

Sunday: She was missing (sleeping) most of the day so it was pretty quiet for the most part. Many have already forgotten she's the one who nominated Jeff and booted him out with her tie-breaker vote, but that's how that quickie HOH works.

Paired with Keith - GOLDEN KEY
Paired with Kalia
Won: $5k
HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD
Monday: She did most of the baking tonight but I don't think she added any extra fiber to the recipes - I hope not anyway, and she strong-armed Adam some more which she doesn't do to anyone else. She barely even says 'like' when she's browbeating him. She's Rachel's targeted BFF for Operation Sleepover Party, but isn't that where we came in on this mess last July?

Sunday: I started wondering if she & Adam are the only ones left who haven't cried but when I went back to check, hers were the first tears on the feeds this year. She may have been MIA a lot this season but she's been stable since that early fight with Keith, and it seems to be working out pretty well for her. Her Pandora acting wasn't much better than her lines in 'The Glades'.

Paired with Brendon
Paired with Jordan
USED VETO - NOT PREGNANT
Monday: She told Jordan today that while she's good at BB competitions, her social game is not good. I was shocked to hear such truthful self-awareness from our Rachel, and I was proud of her. I was also shocked to see her wearing such a nice looking, nice fitting, non-trashy dress to the veto meeting - it was very unlike her and it looked great.

Sunday: Today she asked Jordan, 'Do you know we're in a house with four floaters?' which was kind of ironic, considering Jordan's only had one comp win (which is how Rachel defines floater), the same as Adam, and less than both Kalia or Porsche. I'm giving up hope of ever seeing her Vegas again, since they seem to have cut off the booze budget.

Paired with Cassi - GOLDEN KEY
Paired with Adam
Won: 24 hours solitary, phone call
NOMINATED
Monday: She probably has a very good idea that they're all on to her, since she's known everything else going on in there all season. When she leaves, the rest of them will probably be buried in laundry, dishes and rubbish before the weekend.

Sunday: I guess she's supposed to just lay down & die and wait for Thursday, according to most viewers anyway. She spun way too many webs and she got got, but it doesn't say much for the rest of them that it took them 55 days to figure it out.

Paired with Jordan
Won: $15k
His sense of entitlement to be there and win was as strong as the other vets, but it didn't work out for him this time either. He went out on a bitter note but he gave us his share of funny one-liners while he lasted, especially when he was losing. He had issues with Dumbledore, was a formidable opponent for the new grill and for Adam & Shelly's cigarette supplies, he won all the cash to date, and he'll probably get yet another CBS show after this.

Paired with Dick - GOLDEN KEY/TICKET
Won/used: Veto ticket
She looked & acted different this time, especially when she joked & laughed which was great to see, but she failed at her former specialty of winning vetos and she went back to whining when on the block and on slop. Like all the vets, she had a sense of entitlement but she turned on them too soon, got Dominic booted, and later evicted her teamie Lawon. She shuffled her deck and almost had an 11th hour save, but it 'literally' didn't work out.

Paired with Rachel
Won: 1 week revival
His return was twice unwelcome, especially now that he's had a year to suck the life and Vegas out of Rachel. This time he wore superhero suits, used not-funny voices, lost a toy turtle, lectured everyone, and had big goofy smiles for Big Booty & Porsche's striptease. He had a pathetic sense of entitlement and made a giant stink about Rachel calling him Buki.

Paired with Kalia
Won: nothing
My favorite hamster in years, he came out with his best stuff late nights so many missed it, but he gave great Diary, wore kooky outfits and officiated at the trashbag wedding with tremendous style & flair. He caught flak for pawning himself out the door but his teamies encouraged it and put him up, so it's not all on him. He was Lawonderful with a fantastic laugh and he'll be missed.

Paired with Adam
Won: nothing
He was the first casualty of Daniele's too hard/too fast strategy but he didn't help himself by not brushing up more on how BB works. He told a lot of pointless lies about his modeling, schooling, virginity and then fessed up to them, which might have come back to bite him anyway. His adolescent jokes & behavior did nothing for me.

Paired with Shelly
Won: nothing
She started off okay and had Dominic in her pocket, but Shelly befriended her so well that when they were both nominated, Cassi just laid down and died. She complained a lot, failed to fulfill her catfight potential, and was the third model in a row to be booted out second. She had the best Mirror-Face since BB5/7 Jase.

Paired with Porsche
Won: nothing
He claimed to be a fan since BB1 but even watching only CBS, he clearly wasn't paying attention: who throws a veto comp when they're on the block? He went in with a clearly outlined womanizing strategy which failed miserably, he set off another BB Weinergate, and he panicked himself right out the door.

Paired with Daniele
Won: nothing
We haven't had a premiere night no-show since BB9 Jacob, and we haven't had a mysterious early exit since BB9 Neil. These pairs twist seasons just seem to complicate things for production. No real word yet on why Dick's gone (and there may never be) but he sure was looking rough in the premiere.

News & updates

See Upcoming Events on the right sidebar for my best guess at the remaining schedule. They're taping an eviction on Tuesday, September 6 that will air Wednesday, September 7. It's possible feeds might be blocked for awhile due to that and Showtime could run three hours from earlier in the day on Tuesday night so as not to "give away" what we'll already know by then anyway. I hope they don't do that, but they have in the past.

The non-jury evictees have surfaced - see my Linkage tab for their Twitters along with many other formers

If you still don't have the feeds, try a SuperPass free trial for the end game! You'll see all the post-finale & post-season interviews, you can use Flashback to see anything/everything from BB13 and BB12, plus you can get $10 worth of free music every month.

Add mobile access when you get your feeds! iPhone/iPad users need iOS4 or higher and can watch via the SuperPass page using Safari browser. Android users need Android 2.2 or higher with Flash, and can use the free app available from Android Market. Either platform requires an active SuperPass subscription plus additional mobile access fee.

LINES OF THE DAY

Monday:
Adam (joking): There's still a chance we could talk Rachel out of using it
Shelly: Yep, you go ahead, give it a good try

Adam to self: Everybody seems to love me today.. I really wanted to be the manipulator, wanted to be strong and win competitions

Adam to Jordan: If you feel any doubt, then vote me out

I worry about my husband reading something bad and feeling bad.. or Josie finding something when she's older.
I used to get mad if somebody did something I didn't like - I'm gonna be that person now.
Everybody that loves Jeff & Jordan is gonna be so pissed off at me.. had it been Rachel, it'd be one thing - being Jeff & Jordan, it's something else.

Ragan Fox: Your hate is not the measure of Shelly's character, it's the measure of your own

Jim B on my Facebook: I dunno. I like Jeff. Big Jeff, I'm not so crazy about

Sunday:
Adam to Porsche: That's why I'm fucking miserable right now, I'm going to have to say stuff that isn't true

Shelly to Rachel & Jordan: My backside is in your guys' hands at this point.. I'm offering to play the game for you guys

Rachel to Jordan:
We have to win HOH this week
Adam & I have never talked game
Kalia just gets lucky with questions

Adam: I don't know how I could be holding that thing for 5 minutes
