It isn't necessarily thorough: it's what I catch and/or what interests me, and it isn't necessarily about who will win, who should win, who's cute or who's horrid. Nominations & veto will be pairs-based until there are 10 left.

The surviving partner of evictee gets one of four Golden Keys, meaning they can't be nominated or play for HOH until there are 10 left.

CBS shows air Sundays and Wednesdays at 8pm, and live eviction Thursdays at 9pm

BBAD airs 1-4am Thursdays and 12-3am other nights, on Showtime in USA and Global Reality in Canada

BB13 prizes are the same: $500k for the winner and $50k for 2nd place. The others still earn $750 a week including pre-show hotel and jury sequester.

The habitat has 52 cameras and 95 microphones.

The recorded Big Brother in-house announcements are the voice of producer Don Wollman.

All feeds stay on one 'scene' when someone's in Diary.

Cheesy pictures day

The camera came out for lots of over-posing and toothy smiles.. so far most of this crew is getting along pretty much, so the happy family scenes aren't as incongruous as they will be later on

Cassi's working hard to dump Porsche, and agreed with Brendon that they've had a lot of blow-ups thus far - we've missed them but I have a feeling they don't really qualify as blow-ups compared to what we've had in the past.. Keith's campaigning hard and his hyper explanations of things are funny to watch: he uses logic like predicting a 6-4 vote while saying people will "vote with the house" in the same breath

Keith's also perturbed because he's all packed but he keeps telling everyone Porsche hasn't even started, making her seem too confident of her safety.. I'm currently torn over which would provide the most viewing fun for us, so I guess it doesn't matter which leaves - I can't keep up with the waffling or the lies or the double-dippers

Finally, the season's beginning

They were all locked in HOH for awhile which is unusual for a Wednesday - all these non-stop talkers went silent like they always do on Thursdays in there.. technical problems made the feeds dicey for awhile after that.. those little oddities that make Big Brother what it is are coming along nicely: along with the resident ants, they've now got fruitflies in the pantry - cockroaches can't be far behind.. Adam's exercising with drink jugs - which makes sense, 8 lb per gallon and all that, and they've got handles.. but most of all, paranoia is setting in on this eviction eve

Rachel & Brendon are starting their Great Fall from upstairs, snapping at each other and freaking out about tomorrow's HOH comp and its outcome.. Keith's spinning himself in circles with anti-logic at 100 mph.. Shelly spent a good long time trying to talk him down, telling him good stuff - hopefully he heard some of it.. potential catfights are brewing between Cassi and the other girls, though I don't think Cassi's aware of it yet, and Daniele & Rachel's BFF-ness is starting to have a lot of subtle digs, mostly from Daniele

Fallout from Jeff's Harry Potter Tuesday tirade continues: it's hit TMZ, Entertainment Weekly, TV Guide, GLAAD, and many other mainstream sites.

CBS issued a canned response Wednesday: "Big Brother is a reality show about watching a group of people who have no privacy 24/7 - and seeing every moment of their lives. At times, the Houseguests make comments, reveal prejudices and other beliefs that we do not condone. Any views or opinions expressed in personal commentary by a Houseguest appearing on BIG BROTHER, either on any live feed from the House or the broadcast, are those of the individual(s) speaking and do not represent the views or opinions of CBS or the producers of the program."

Mobile feeds

Everything you need to know about getting the feeds on your Android or iPad/iPhone is in the forum. Like SuperPass subscriptions, adding mobile access through me will help me keep the site going this summer.

You can add mobile access at the same you sign up for SuperPass. If you already have your SuperPass and want to add mobile access, click the same link or the banner atop this page from your mobile device browser, sign in, then click the Live Feeds tab. It'll know you're coming in via mobile and ask you to sign up for the add-on access.

The Android app is out and available to download from Android Market. You need Android 2.2 or higher, Flash, an active SuperPass subscription, plus additional mobile access fee. Some people aren't able to use it yet but they are aware of the issues and are working to fix them up - see Monday's update.. be patient, it's only the beginning of a long, long summer.

For iPhone and iPad, go to the SuperPass page to view the feeds using Safari browser in your device. You need iOS4 or higher.
