Collectibles Today - Home to All Things Collectible

This site is about the Big Brother 12 feeds and contains spoilers! It isn't necessarily thorough: it's what I catch and/or what interests me. It also isn't necessarily about who will win, who should win, who's cute or who's horrid. It's about watching hamsters: who's doing what and why, who's fun and who's dull. If they aren't entertaining, get rid of 'em! Thanks for encouraging my behavior.

FAQ
Two hour finale is September 15

Annie & Monet have been sequestered so we might end up with Revive-a-Hamster

The saboteur was Annie. She'd have won $50k if she lasted five weeks undetected.

Have-Nots have their own room again, cold showers again, slop again, plus popcorn, plus additional food items decided by viewer votes.

Nobody knows why Paolo isn't there.

The winner of BB12 will win $500k and 2nd place gets $50k. Hamsters earn $750 a week including pre-show hotel and jury sequester.

The habitat has 52 cameras and 95 microphones.

The recorded Big Brother in-house announcements are the voice of producer Don Wollman.

Wake me it's Julie time (Tuesday)

Just when you thought it couldn't get any slower in there, it did

Waffling carried on, layarounds carried on, and campaigning by Kathy & Andrew carried on, but the highlight of the day was a spat between Rachel & Brendon over pre-nups.. their spat/makeup cycles are getting a lot faster, so maybe we'll be treated to a rip-roaring breakup one of these days (hope)

Andrew adopted one of Annie's campaign strategies, making a big pitch to Matt that he knows something about alliances in there but he won't tell what it is unless he stays - that didn't work out so well for Annie.. he also called Matt on his continual "I don't have a vote" excuse to stay uninvolved, pointing out that he definitely does have a vote if it's a tie.. I assume Kathy kept up her usual campaign style, but I didn't listen to her much

Britney made an interesting point in a good convo with Ragan, about how all their usual day-to-day life roles don't apply in there so they're all a bit lost in a way.. for instance, she said she's used to being a daughter, a friend, a fiancée, a co-worker, etc.. Rachel & Britney had a bubble bath in HOH where they mostly trashed Kristen

Matt gave Enzo a haircut, Hayden made tinfoil golf balls and Britney made a tinfoil tiara, and that's all I got.. Thursday can't come fast enough

    Bring on the boo-hoos (Monday)

The veto meeting sounds like another doozy, but CBS will probably skip right over it like they did the last two doozy veto meetings.. apparently Andrew said he was coming after Brendon, "so please use the veto on me" - ooookay

OBVI Brendon did not use his veto, Rachel got upset, and Andrew & Kathy began campaigning in earnest, using their very opposite styles: Andrew griping all over about the food and everything else, and Kathy taking over the HOH bed to say she's expecting leukemia any minute from her years-ago chemo

Rachel got pissy with Brendon again because she thinks he's working behind her back, but unfortunately they slurped & cooed their way through it and made up again.. Ragan & Lane got haircuts courtesy of Matt & Kristen respectively, layarounds carried on, and the waffling is in full force - now it sounds like Andrew will go, but it's only Monday

    Let us review

I've taken some flak for comparing Matt's game to Dr Will's game, but I call 'em like I see 'em (and I see more of the feeds than most)

Much is also being made of Matt faking a disease for his wife, to the point of "The View" talking about it this morning and feedsters split between how great and how horrible it all is.. I stand by my comment on yesterday's ratings: if you have an ethical problem with hamsters lying, you shouldn't be watching this show

On July 23, 2001, Will Kirby, using his medical knowledge, told his showmance Shannon Dragoo - intentionally within earshot of their roomies - that he was dying of a rare form of leukemia and needed a pricey bone marrow transplant.. in typical Dr Will form he laughed afterwards, saying "all that and my fuckin mic wasn't even on".. his disease dollars ploy failed as two banners flew shortly after: W FAKING CANCER FOR $ and WILL IS NOT SICK - LIES.. but as we know, it didn't hurt him in the end

Matt plays up his ignorance of all things Big Brother often, but I don't believe all that for a minute.. he pretends not to know the infamous Dr Will, yet he often admits to having cruised Big Brother sites, and Will's name shows up about once an hour on most

Reference materials: Andy Dehnart on BB2 for MSNBC - Mortys BB2 updates - BB2 banners

REMINDER there are no lifelong friends! It was a poor attempt at stabotage to WREAK HAVOC that failed miserably.. get over it and move on - soon we'll have a Revive-a-Hamster to focus on

Daily Ratings - Death & Disease edition

Ratings are Monday's, based on entertainment value, and will stand for now - they didn't do anything noteworthy on Tuesday

Do they like being talked about on 'The View'? You betcha! Especially with the lack of HAVOC WREAKED that they blew their advertising budget on. I know they're only interested in making a tv show and they couldn't care less about us, but these hamsters are thoroughly unimaginative and boring to the point of comatose. Couldn't they give them something to do? Even if it's from the dreaded kiddie aisle they love to shop at.. anything would be better than this nothing.

    NOMINATED
He caused a ruckus at the veto meeting but we probably won't ever see it if the past two ruckus veto meetings are anything to go by.

I didn't see much of him today at all, fortunately.

    Won: $10
Once again she was the star of the night with her extended comedy hour in HOH. Flashback from around 11pm if you want to see how hamsters are supposed to behave.

I didn't see much of him today at all, unfortunately.

    He's still in there.

    NOMINATED
Up til now she was Ms Cancer Survivor USA and now that she's halfway out the door, she's scheduled for leukemia in the near future as a result of her past chemo. Hey, fair's fair: what's good for the HOH is good for the nominee. Her cause might work better for her if she wasn't the only smoker among them.

    Won: $100
Her whispery getarounds are getting to be as ubiquitous as Rachel's boobies - she needs to get back to eating spiders.

    Won: $1,000
I didn't see much of him today at all, unfortunately.

    Won: $1
    HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD
BB often makes 'The Soup' and occasionally mainstream media when they say something extra-controversial, but they rarely make 'The View'. He's letting them all waffle to evicting Andrew for now, but I suspect he'll drive them back to booting Kathy before they face Julie on Thursday. Today he used the phrase 'entertainment value' about them.. gee, where have I heard that before?

Her post-veto meeting spat with Brendon got us all excited for a breakup drama but they made up again, slurpily. The feedmasters enjoyed zooming in on her crotch during Showtime, and she enjoyed staring at herself in her undies in the mirror, and the rest of us enjoyed her four-hour nap. Aside from when she's slurping Brendon, have you noticed she's only happy when she's nominated? The first week on the block she was happy-go-lucky but she's had fits last week and this.

He was AWOL much of the day again but once again rebounded for Big Brother Memories Hour in HOH. I have to hand it to him for listening to Kathy's cancer comeback story for as long as he did.

    Won: $10,000
She promised princessy but failed to deliver, opting instead for poor-me tears, complaints about being fat, and a lot of moping around. But she wasn't all doom & gloom: she rode the slip 'n slide and made fun of her keep-warm sleeping layers, and she was Britney's #1 mean girl cohort. She tried out for ANTM and might have fared better there, as they wouldn't have flashed her boobies.

    13-DAY STABOTEUR
She turned her nomination into the House of Annie and wheedled everyone for days, to no avail. She promised catfights with Britney and Rachel but nothing came of it, leaving her in the 'Who?' category for future BB trivia, even including her stabotage. She's lucky she went early: she might have cracked bad and the chops would get really brutal.

Lucky #14 got away before the season began without any secrets exposed or embarrassing incidents to live forever on the web. Her dirty laundry will remain in the hamper, but boobies fans will be forever disappointed and wonder 'what if?'
