RATINGS WATCH
Sunday's show won the hour with 7.0 million viewers, 4.0 rating and 7 share, ahead of 'Law & Order' on NBC with 4.9/3.3/6, 'Extreme Makeover: Home Edition' rerun on ABC with 4.8/2.9/5, and 'The Simpsons' & 'The Cleveland Show' reruns on FOX with 3.7/2.2/4 & 3.4/1.9/3 respectively. 'Big Brother 12' also won the 18-49 demographic.

Today's headline once again brought to you by Annie, who stayed on her same loop all day until Rachel said she was being sensitive or something, and all hell broke loose - almostUnfortunately Rachel's a crier and not a fighter, and Annie's a repetitive wacko who won't confront directly the people she has problems with, so we didn't get the catfight that had held so much promise.. Annie started up her loops again and we're all still stuck in them.. I'm sorry, Annie, but maybe nobody told you this is Big Brother? Someone gets kicked out each week and it's usually the one who gets caught playing different sides - especially this early.. also, a guy will pick the girl who slurps & fondles him over the girl who rants & raves at him, every time
They made a new game called Bags (yep, it's an imaginative crew this season) which consisted of chucking baggies of coffee at a vase.. two of the official BB Twitters sent out alerts about this marvelous Bags invention.. it was the first time they've done a feeds alert - just a few hours before, they tweeted that Hayden is HOH.. immediately after that, the feeds switched to an awkward bikini bubble bath going on upstairs betwen Rachel, Kathy & Monet, all three of them with sour faces above the bubbles - I didn't think any of them were even aware the other two were in the habitatThe letdown after we didn't have an Annie/Rachel blowout was monumental, Annie's loop carries on and on, and another fishie is dying
The biggest and best news today was the arrival of a new viewer that lets you have separate feed windows with their own volume controls, full screen, and no huge webpage taking up your monitor.. SuperPass is working on a popout but this one's here now and works like a dream for most - some have trouble logging in and it's not for Macs.. it's linked on the right sidebar in Links of the Day - thanks BBViewer!
"I dyed my hair for this shit!" - Sunday
As usual, all the interim waffling was for nothing: Brendon veto'd himself to safety and Hayden put up Annie.. this after a round of pre-meeting meetings in which deals & promises were made that will likely be broken.. I could swear I saw a few wisps of steam wafting out of Hayden's ears a couple timesSome drama happened at the meeting that sounds like it involved Britney & Annie primarily.. Rachel was in tears afterward, fulfilling her role as the forgotten nominee
Annie stomped around a bit, then dramatically started packing her things and muttering to herself - she seemed acutely self-aware of the cameras & mics, so I'm still not writing her off as a potential staboteur since at least some of them know that we don't know yet who it is.. she also exclaimed "I dyed my hair.. I can't believe I dyed my hair for this shit!" - she was previously blonde, as reported here some days ago.. the feedmasters like to pretend we don't know about that stuff so they cut her off, but I'm happy to post it here for posterity
Meanwhile Enzo & Matt had a quick celebratory meeting, saying "We gotta backdoor Brendon now"It feels like a major fight might be brewing in there and that's a good thing, because we're already overdue to get that count started in the sidebar tally, but we did get the annual slip 'n slide out of the way along with Annie working hard on most of them in ones and twos - even though it's days til the vote.. sloppers got to eat at midnight and they savored every bite
Andrew rearranged pillows and Snickers bars in HOH, and the ace camera work made it seem like certain stabotage with a CBS edit in mind, but nobody out here noticed or cared, and some argued with me when I said this was what they'd been waiting for

Monday: No change.Sunday: I barely watched the CBS show so his circumcision and other one-liners don't count. Feeds-wise, he was mostly AWOL - at least the feed I was on, since I can only listen to audio of one at a time these days. When it looked like he was finally doing some stabo, nobody cared. Later he drank a beer and ate a non-kosher cookie. |
 
NOMINATEDMonday: She really stirred it up tonight but when the time came for confrontation, she ran away. There's been a lot of comparisons to BB9 Allison but to me she's more like BB6 April, and I'm waiting for Enzo to come up with the Meow Meow equivalent of 'Busto'. Sunday: She was on her way to easy automatic ups with her solo packing hissy fit, but then she neutralized herself by putting everyone into a coma with her non-stop campaigning to all and sundry. I can respect her endurance but I'm not sure she can keep it up for three and a half more days til the vote. This whole strategy of playing too hard too soon must be a tradition now, in the footsteps of BB11 Ronnie and BB10 Brian. I only hope she delivers a major fight or a puppet show before she goes.. preferably both. |
 
Monday: He's sleeping with one and slurping the other, but he tells both of them the wrong stuff to get them fired up.. what good is that?Sunday: USED VETO The real HOH got his way but he had to pay for it with a cry 'n comfort marathon with Annie. That included a lot of touchy-feely stuff (in a 'comforting' way, I'm sure) but I'm just disappointed Rachel didn't walk in on them at some point. Little does he know he's the number one target of half of them - but he will soon enough. His late night sapfest with Rachel was indescribably trainwrecky. |
 
Won: $10Monday: She really missed her cue to get in there and stir up the catfight we were all waiting for, and she could have set it off like nobody else. Sunday: I'd give her ups for causing a scene at the veto meeting, but we didn't see it, and it didn't develop into a catfight when they were done. |
  
Monday: His comedy act is more like a running commentary and should come out even more when we get rid of a few and he gets more feed time.Sunday: His plans for his future reign as HOH made me kind of hope he doesn't get it for a long time, as the promises for what he'll do will just get better. Lots of them aren't sure if he's trustworthy and that's uncharacteristically bright of them, since he & Matt are ready to roll through them all. |
 
HEAD OF HOUSEHOLDMonday: For such a dopey guy, he's got some spooky but valid intuition going on sometimes, much like BB5 Drew did - and look where he ended up. Sunday: His head didn't explode and that was my first major disappointment of the season. But it came close. |

Won: $100Monday: There's a lot of buzz about her & Hayden being siblings, but it's coming from people who don't pay attention to Julie ('the saboteur will WREAK HAVOC' - what better way than to suggest it's a BB6 rerun as well as BB8?) The siblings suspecters also haven't listened to her & Hayden when they're alone together: they clearly don't know each other and have talked about who the pair might be. On the other hand, they could be twins. Sunday: She went down the slip 'n slide and sat through one of Annie's many poor-me harangues, but otherwise she was wearing her usual invisible cloak. |
 
Won: $1,000Monday: No change, and pass the pizza please. Sunday: I heard he's on his way to being the new Diary superstar and he joined in some of the comedy skits. I think he escaped Annie's coma campaign - I only wish the rest of us had. |
 
Won: $1Monday: He slipped at one point and mentioned BB9 James's gay porn, which only a non-CBS fan would know about. He had to backpedal a lot to make up for that one with his 'I get all the Big Brother details mixed up' act. I'm looking forward to his HOH as there might be all kinds of clues in his letter and translation theories will abound. Sunday: He took the maiden voyage on the slip 'n slide, and with a revolutionary backsliding style. His skull-covered footie jammies were the most interesting thing that happened tonight, and we can thank Annie for lowering our expectations to that level. |

NOMINATEDMonday: She didn't shoot, stab, choke or poison Annie but she may as well have for all the flak. Unfortunately for us, Rachel is as non-confrontational as Annie is, but instead of running away, she cries. They're like two magnets with the wrong ends pointing at each other. Rachel knows how to mark her territory though: she slurped and pawed Brendon for a long time in the bed Brendon shares with Annie. Sunday: She did all the bombshellish stuff her role calls for today including wearing a way-too-small bikini and having a nip-slip on the slip 'n slide. She got sloppy sippy on one beer when she came off slop, and she talked science while slurping with Brendon, but none of this is enough for ups from me tonight. |
