I don't care who wins, I'm just here for the cheap entertainment.. the cheaper, the better

This site is about the Big Brother feeds and contains spoilers! It isn't necessarily thorough: it's what I catch and/or what interests me. It also isn't necessarily about who will win, who should win, who's cute or who's horrid. It's about watching hamsters: who's doing what and why, who's fun and who's dull. If they aren't entertaining, get rid of 'em! Thanks for encouraging my behavior.

BIG BROTHER 11
It's been announced as a midseason replacement which doesn't mean definite, but it may come back for another winter/spring edition.. they need some kind of filler to go against 'American Idol'. eligibility - application

FAQ
The winner once again received $500k, and second place got $50k. The weekly stipend for the others remained $750, including sequester weeks.

The habitat had 52 cameras and 95 mics this season

The recorded Big Brother in-house announcements are the voice of producer Don Wollman

AMERICA'S PLAYER

Task 1: Who should Dan get nominated? Jessie/successful

Task 2: Who should Dan hug for 10 seconds? Jessie/successful

Task 3: Who should Dan vote to evict? Jessie/successful

Dan got $20k if successful and not discovered. The previously-announced 4th task evaporated. Apparently all the 'Dan is America's Player' suspicions did not invalidate him.

    Really a wrap now

Dan won in a unanimous vote, bringing us full circle back to the start of the season when unanimity was the norm

Inexplicably, the $25k favorite juror prize went to Keesha, with Jerry supposedly #2.. Keesha wasn't bad as hamsters go and she got a sympathetic edit there at the end, but that one is still surprising.. quite a few voters said they voted for Keesha over Renny "just to see April's face if Keesha wins" - if it was a legit vote, maybe enough did that to give her the win.. either way, April didn't visibly react

SuperPass has started running after-finale interviews with BB8 Dick.. backyard video interviews are up at CBS2, the CBS BB site with Gretchen of "Housecalls" (Jerry tells her he didn't win the AC vote because Hurricane Ike prevented his hometown supporters in & around Houston from voting, and he hopes "Judas" goes away), and We Love Big Brother with BB2 Bunky

    It's a wrap

Close enough, anyway: today's feeds were just a big ad, swaying in the breeze

The boyz didn't do much their last five days in there: they played with their radio-control cars and other new toys, they slept a lot, ate a lot, and patted themselves on the back a lot.. they also counted votes a lot, but since the fallout after jury questions was withheld from us the other night, we didn't get to play along there.. contrary to their beliefs, Memphis Bob is the third finalist who never won an HOH (after BB2 Dr Will - they should both be DQ'd for not knowing that - and BB5 Cowboy)

Maybe it wasn't the most stellar season of "Big Brother", but it wasn't the worst and it was thankfully short.. however, Diary manipulation was more blatant than ever and by the end, the feeds were blacked out so often, it turned into just another reality show with no reality to compare the edited televised version to

It's not over yet though: the feeds replay is underway and the fights & sex on the sidebar tally remain to be seen again.. I'll also be including links here to some post-show interviews and the like over the next few days

Hamsterwatch shout-outs and thanks to all 13 hamsters for putting themselves out there for our amusement, as always.. big ups also to Mooman/TD for another great season of BB Park; to ABT for hundreds of great caps; to Hanto for the Hamsterwatch BB10 fantasy game (and congrats to iheartbb for winning!); to mamafoxof3 for being a great welcome wagon in Hamsterwatch Chat; to everyone who participated in the forum and in chat; to Aldav and Attw x as always; to Sean for streaming the air shows; and to everyone who visited the site.. thanks for encouraging my behavior

Daily ratings - Stick a fork in it edition

BB10 got off to a terrific start with no casting twists as promised, a somewhat diverse group of adults, and not many kiddies. Typically, it didn't take long for them to muck up a good thing: they let their stars get away early, booze deliveries were stingy, and the 9pm Showtime shows were more staged than ever. By the end, they were withholding key events from the feeds so they could stage & edit them for CBS however they wanted. We did get some huge Diary leaks, tons of info slipped thru before they hit the fishies, and the Extracurricular Tally toted up nicely, especially early on. NB: the words 'jury' and 'sequester' no longer apply to this show.

    P/T AMERICA'S PLAYER - Won: $500k + $20k
AP 2.0 raised more suspicion than his predecessor, but Dan won a lot more per task. Luckily he didn't bring the politics & religion wars his promos promised, and while his babe in the woods persona was pleasant enough, he pulled some fast ones (some of them with 'help'). He shouted in Diary and never sat in a chair properly, but despite his penchant for naming alliances and faulty efforts to recreate classic BB skits, Swim Club was a daytime highlight while it lasted.

Won: $50k + Classic Camaro cash in lieu of the car that wasn't CBS's to give away
Putting aside his phony name, fauxhawk, illegal tribute mandana, and way too much showbiz talk, he was often fun with animated stories and his on/off feud with Jerry, and he was a great addition to Sock Puppet Theater and bedtime shenanigans. He seemed to have the killer instinct required to go all the way, but while his over-allied strategy lasted a lot longer than Brian's, it didn't get him the money.

    Won: $4k
As the old guy token deluxe, he kept up with the kids surprisingly well and survived a couple 6-foot drops off comp apparatus. Mostly he bored them and us with dull stories, and he was shunned by most of them most of the time. He ate a lot of slop and provided constipation consulting services. He got down & dirty with the girls too many times and when he got nasty, he was far more vicious than most.

    Won: $25k
More modest than expected and smarter than she appeared: she may have lasted if she'd let them underestimate her early - and stayed awake later. She starred in some spectacular fights like Battling Barbies (fueled by enema angst), and she was the ideal Drunk Girl. Saran wrap saunas were odd but her laugh was infectious (if peculiar), especially when Renny's antics had her literally rolling.

She rebounded from a disastrous start to become a feedsters dream and viewer fave. She planted subtle seeds, was liked even by those she poked at, and she revived the Dr. Will method of manipulation without malice. She also had a full costume trunk and put on unexpected shows to keep them and us rolling in the aisles. Hamsterwatch Star of the Season: she personified why feeds are required.

He arrived as the innocent Preacher's Son but soon proved that false, as he & April shattered the record for hamster sex that included doggie-style, spanks and visuals. Nearly all of it was on the feeds, and the word spread even beyond the BB world. He was usually pleasant enough but had a temper tantrum ranking up there with the champ hissy-fitters. Like many others, he learned to swim at summer camp.

Almost brilliant but poor judgment kept her glued to devalued teamies and she let paranoia take over her game. She was almost good watching but poor people skills, repetitive & constant whispers, and annoying babytalk didn't help - Holly Poodle skits & medical help excepted. She's the third member of the elite Red Catsuit Club and her leaked Diary showed how much flirting really goes on in there.

    Won: Designer clothes, $5k
We've had sex on the feeds before, but we never actually saw it until she came along. She one-upped often but to her credit, she impressively won the first endurance. She had delusions about her importance in & out of the habitat, and her Barbie Battles with Keesha plus her other fights were something. But we knew from the start she wouldn't be invisible, thanks to her most unusual introduction to the others.

    Won: Hawaii trip, $1k
She ran the tie-dye room with an iron fist but only for a short time: her minions had turned on her long before Jessie & Michelle painted a bull's eye on her for being their leader. She took a lot of flak for leaving her babies and for choosing Hawaii, and her financial sob stories didn't always add up. But she told some fun stories, rebelled against giving comp recaps to Diary, and added great fireworks to fights.

The first to get an empty wheel before their time, his comic relief wore off fast and he brought nothing but a major mirror obsession and raging insecurity. But it's not all bad: he laid around in pink pillows and talked himself gone with rampaging harangues, and he'll carry the fact that he lost to a girl while wearing spandex, then lost to three girls plus Renny. Rehabs will profit from the Jessie Drinking Game.

The third fan fave to walk the plank, she was a great sidekick to the fun guys but she didn't bring much after they left, including any real attempt to save herself. Like many who have gone before, she seems like she'd be a cool person in reality, but this isn't. Her angry hat and illegal tribute bandana aside, she did a great Julie puppet and manscaping. Bikini fans will miss her, as will the Behind Pillows alliance.

They all liked him and his shenanigans, but his comp potential and desperate pledges of multi allegiance got him booted anyway, plus he was Brian's pal. He entertained them and us like few have before, with skits, dances, nekkid romps, Ambien-induced bedtime stories and general looniness. Too bad he went before he made it upstairs: he'd probably have revived Bath Buddies® and done it right.

He made more of an impact than most who get voted out first and he had the potential to be a fan fave but he over-allied and betrayed too early and had a very negative edit to boot. He was smart, funny, and a good ringleader for the guys - time will tell if they can be as fun without him. Sock Puppet Theater on only the second night of feeds, under his direction, could be the highlight of the season.
